Speaker 1:Hey, it's me, Mark Gurman. I break news on Apple and other tech giants for Bloomberg. You might know me from reading my reporting over the past 17 years about upcoming Apple devices or big changes inside the company. Or maybe you follow me on social media or you subscribe to my Power On newsletter. Or maybe you've never heard of me at all. In that case, lucky you. Either way, there's one thing you should know about me. I'm addicted to breaking news and I am obsessed with figuring out what's next for Apple. And no matter what the scoop is, I'll always have some thoughts about it. I think people are going to see this technology and they're going to fall in love with it. I appreciate your passion, but it's time to get over it. I don't think 99% of people really care. It's been a while since we saw scalper dream Apple products, but this is going to be it. I'm obsessed and I've been dreaming of having something new for so long. And I'm bringing those thoughts to the airwaves. That's right. I've now got a podcast.
Speaker 1:And what a wild time to launch one. AI is blowing up development, Tim Cook has kind of retired, and consumer tech will change more in the next five years than it has in the last 20. The Power On podcast will be your guide through all of it. Join me and my industry friends and colleagues, including Bloomberg tech editor Vlad Savov, for a weekly deep dive into the tech we can't live without. We'll review products, discuss industry gossip, and bring you the inside scoop. There will be basketball metaphors and takes, very hot takes. Episodes drop every Thursday on YouTube and all podcast platforms beginning on October 1st.
Speaker 1:I'll see you there.
