You know, a lot of people nowadays just just going through the pen, testing sock and all that, but they forget they need to know the basics. If you ask about me, I started my journey with Windows. I understand how Windows work. I understand Windows XP. I understand the registry. Settings. I learn about how to format, how the OS work, what is the file settings, how to give access control permissions and all that. It's very important for any. Candidate.
If someone is moving to cyber, they should know how the OS, their internal functions, internal controls, commands, controls, everything, how it works. Simple logic is if tomorrow you're trying to hack Linux, if you try to hack Microsoft operating systems and all that, or. Testing and all that you should know now which area you're going to exploit, Understood. So until as you don't know basic how it works, how are you going to? Hack. The second most important thing You.
Should. Be clear with the networking protocols because when you're doing some network level attacks or when you're doing network level security, you should know how packet works. So until in as you don't know how the packet works, how can you secure them? So you should be clear with the OSI model. You should be clear with router. You should be understand with the firewall switches. So take time now why you're in a competition. Give time to yourself.
Understand this basic of network. Build your foundation, get the understanding of. OS. There's a lot of free videos available on YouTube. OK, and then you basically decide what you want to do. Then you can do Commission security plus if you want to do that, which give you a structure call. But before doing to security plus also you should know all these things basics.
