OK, so it's been a perfectly normal week where nothing major has happened. There's not been any fallout from anything, just a real quiet week in gaming. Andy. So I didn't even know if there's a need to do a podcast this week, to be honest. That's, yeah, that's true. You know, sometimes there's a part of, you know, gaming life where just nothing happens and. Nothing happens. Oh, I don't know if you heard about this DLSS five thing. Oh yeah. The next Gen. upscaling. Right.

OK, I want to premise this with the title because for the longest time we've been like NVIDIA getting into PC handhelds when please hurry up because of what they do and like the magic they've done with the Switch to. So when we were first coming up with the podcast at the start of the week, we always have a tentative title and it was NVIDIA handhelds when please, or something along those lines. And then DLSS 5 came along. We were like NVIDIA, could you stay away from our hat nails please? Oh, my days, Yeah.

I mean, it's, but yeah. There's so much to talk about. Isn't there is There's just so much. There's so. Much I kind of want to go like the good, the bad and the ugly. I want to keep balanced with this because there was parts of it where my initial reaction in seeing the dealer that says 5 announcement from NVIDIA was like, holy wow, OK, this is generational stuff. Yeah. And then there was some parts. I was like, it's just like a Snapchat demonstration.

What's going on here? So when when I sent it to you and we made that first title like Oh my God, it, it was late here in the UK, it was like I said, late. I go to bed at like 9 at night 9 PMI. Was still having my dinner. It was late for me, all right. My bedtime is at 9:00 PM because I get off insanely early because I'm a psychopath. So I was going to bed at like 9 or something like that. And I, I got the tweet or whatever and I just saw that like horribly compressed, like side by side of of Grace, which we'll talk about later.

And I was like, what like DLS And then I saw like my Twitter feed just full. So I didn't really look, I mean, that's one for tomorrow. And I just sent you the like headlining one and then went to bed and that was that was it. And then obviously I blew up. But I want, I do want to say something really divisive, divisive here. Like it's going to start some people up, I'm sure. I still believe with our original title, I've still want NVIDIA to get into a. 100,000 million percent and primarily based off my blind faith of how amazing the switch to is and what it can do at such low power.

If they were to have like remove the kind of budget caps that you get with a Nintendo device having to be sold sub 500 lbs and move into like an Asus style device, then you go like well, they could really do some amazing stuff RTX inside and they'll see they're partnering with Intel into the future. There's loads of I'm with you. I'm I still stand by our original thought that I do want them involved and I think it would be fantastic for the space to have to have them in there.

Yeah, I'm going to start with the good bits, OK, before we get into the bad bits, because I know there's everyone's got pitchforks out. Can I can I guess the first one? You love Snapchat? Is that the first point? I'm a massive Snapchat fan. I always like. I also like those cheap like Chinese phones that have like the face filters by standard. Let's smooth your skin out. Huge fan of those. No, my my gut reaction was once I let the dust settle and I saw everyone's kind of vitriol was game. Certain games actually look really good with this, primarily ones that had terrible lighting to begin with, because this is in a if you were to take an umbrella view of it's essentially trying to affect how lighting is processed. It's kind of like generative lighting, isn't it? That's what they claim.

So those games like Starfield, which I really liked as a game, but it has some huge issues, and one of those huge issues was that the world feels very flat, the lighting. Is. Really bad in it and when you see like the environments of like you know, inside rooms and how with the LSS 5 on suddenly like reflections of objects bring them to life and suddenly you get loads more detail in the world around you. I was like, Oh well, this is this is game changing. That's kind of what you want.

I totally agree with you there. Like, let's not talk about MPCS and people like, for a second, like, yeah, yeah. Just environmentally the change is like monumental on a game like that where, like you said, it is very flat. It looks like really old. Do you know what I mean? Like, even though it's not, it looks like an old title. And this looked to change like when I've seen those like slideshow things like on and off, you know, I was like, wow, like this actually looks to improve.

And my first thought wasn't even to do with modern games. My first thought would be this is revolutionary for old titles. If they could somehow like just implement like or force DLSS 5 on from like the driver level on certain games, Like you could turn really old games into something that looks like actually modern like because some people can't get over the old visual thing. I'm totally fine playing like Resident Evil 1 non remaster, you know, like and and play like old school PlayStation graphics. I can do that.

Some people can't. They literally go now it's old and it's like, yeah, but that doesn't detract from the gameplay or the story, you know? But so for those kind of people, or if it's just like really bad resolution, if you could like like just fake it up a bit and make it look like pretty or whatever, I, I think that could be an amazing point for this technology. Yeah, absolutely. And also like with our like handheld bias on when we're looking at devices that are running low wattage AP us that that will probably never have the the power capacity to run like path tracing and stuff. Just because the limitations of a battery in a, in a low wattage having having this perhaps give scope for the ability to run better ray tracing inside of a handheld device of a game. Well, like a handheld optimized version, there's potential there for that to be really exciting.

Yeah, yeah. I guess we have to just kind of issue like huge caution because when you really dive into it, there's some really like dark bits of it that just that that fill me with fear, if I'm honest. I think before we get into like the specific bad bits, it's like developers have to be involved with this at like the most basic, deep fundamental level to implement it correctly to be to be providing the models for training. If this is using some kind of generative AI that they have to be like these are the strict models at the highest possible resolution and lighting. This is how it looks at its absolute best. So you need to recreate this and if that doesn't happen, which that's a huge added workflow for four teams. So I'm not sure if that will happen. It feels like it might be they're hoping that it'll just be a lazy on off switch kind of job. Yeah, I mean looking at it, it looks like it's not game specifically trained.

So it's not like like let's just take Capcom because they took Requiem as an example. It's not trained within the game's assets and how it's going to look and helped by the developers. It is just a one fits all generative AI that will make every game look the same effectively like providing that it's it stays like that. That's that's absolutely and that's told out by Grace. That is such a perfect example. And I think Digital Foundry actually covered it really well in their second video.

We'll talk about the first video later because of the fallout's been huge. But in the second video where they where they specifically focus in on Grace and like her character and you've played the game a lot. So you can kind of mirror this, her character and that time in the game, she's meek, she's fearful, she's going into a hugely emotional moment where she should look sad and washed out. And that that adds to the connection to the character in this point of the story.

Yes, absolutely. And they put DLSS 5 on and suddenly she's posing for Instagram. She's got pouty lips, strong cheekbones that weren't there. Yeah, well, it's just. Makeup on, Yeah. It just looked like she'd gone makeup on, Makeup off. Do you know what I mean? It's like a Grace doesn't even look like she would do that on the weekend. Do you know what I mean? Like when you're playing as Grace, the vibe you get from her is she's like me with the blinds down doing her work. Do you know what I mean?

Like she's in like the very first scene is her like in an FBI office and you could tell she's like heavily focused on what? She didn't look like a party girl. Do you know what I mean? Like, and her personality is absolutely not. She's stutters. She's very kind of worried and introverted, you know, and like you said, super traumatic part, part of that game at that moment where they showed that filter on and off. And it's like, why the hell would she be there? Like putting lipstick, garden, mascara and like, you know, doing blush.

And all this stuff, yeah. Like to go into this like Murder House, like you wouldn't be doing that. So when Alex from Digital Foundry brought that up, that was the first thing I thought when I when I sat down the day after that launch thing and I looked at it, I was like, and the reason why it doesn't look like Grace is not that they've changed the character model or anything. They've, it's just not her. Do you know what I mean? Like, that's not her personality.

That's not something she would do if you didn't know the game. You're just looking at, oh, look at this person on and off. OK, yeah, actually, you know, I will say it looks pretty cool. Like you're like, wow, look at that. It's like very like, like you said, the lighting's different. Like it does look different. But when you know the game and you know the character, it's like, what what you doing? It's like the Jim Carrey thing. Do you know what I mean?

Like everyone, that's when you know Jim Carrey and you know, he's come out and said like, I will never do like plastic surgery. Like if that happens, they've got me is like something he's said like and all that. And then like he came out with that thing. I don't even know what the Hell's going on with that, by the way, but but I just saw. People talking about it, yeah. That is literally DLSS 5 on and off. Like for him, his personality, his character is so out of the blue it doesn't make sense. But if there's a random person, you'd be like, all right, yeah, fine.

It looked like it looked as ridiculous as if you've ever played like a very serious game with mods on or with like a character creator option and you make them ridiculously large or like like a massive head, you know what I mean? And then they're playing out in the cutscene or something really serious is happening. You're like, oh, that's just destroyed the entire story, all the emotions gone out of it. There's like a really weird option like, I don't know, like Instagram mode on and it, it showed, I think AI or not, it, it showed such a fundamental lack of understanding of the story and that that means like a a bigger problems at play here that they're not actually paying attention to what it is.

Yes, and that that shows that the devs have not been involved in this because they would have gone 100% absolutely not if they showed like 10 faces and would have said which one would you pick? It would have been the polar opposite of that that one that got chosen. So that's that is the issue that I'm totally with you there. Like it doesn't make any sense. The the Leon one, I wasn't as I wasn't as like disturbed by it. It just looked weird. It just looked like, it's like, I don't imagine him like that, but OK. But because there wasn't so much of an emotional attachment to that moment and like how it affected or would affect the story, it didn't bother me as much. But it shows like a real, like fundamental lack of care and understanding as to what people are paying attention to in those moments.

Yes, yeah, they're. Just doing it just for its own sake. Yeah, yeah, yeah, it looks like. But I mean, it's hard, isn't it? Because they chose Requiem, which is like the most modern release, Like it's just come out. So it's like peak graphics right now anyway. Like when I play Requiem, I put path tracing on and literally I'm playing that game, looking at stuff going wow, like this is incredible. It looks so good. And then so they're showing like the best of and then they're like, but it could be better.

It's like A, like we've just discussed, no, but B, why are you showing that now? Like take an old game and make it look like that, get a potato and then show me it looked like Leon afterwards. Now I'd be happy. I'd be like, OK, this is cool. Like when they redid. I'm just thinking of this off the top of my head because I like Diablo. But when they redid Diablo 2, you know when they do those remasters and you jump in the game and you can go into the menu and toggle on and off and either play like the original mode or like the new mode.

If it was like that, then brilliant. Like, OK, we've remastered this game. We've used AI like because it's easier for us, like we don't want to spend too much money and time on it. So this is kind of what you got. If you don't want that, then turn it off. Like then I'd be all for it. I'd be like this is brilliant, like well done. But taking like the most modern title that literally dropped like a couple of weeks ago, which is also peak like graphics and then being like look at Snapchat like that just didn't like sit well with me like at all.

It's jarring. It showed a lack of understanding and that that was the the disturbing bit that they're just kind of doing it because they can, even with the characters that they showed in Starfield. Just think about another game that I know deeply that that we know deeply. The environments and the objects looked great, but again, the faces looked disturbing and I couldn't put my finger on what it was that was weird about it. But it's the same visceral reaction I have to when you see obviously AI videos of like avatars talking on Instagram or whatever. You know, like when you see that and that slightly porcelain skin and stuff like, oh, disturbing.

There was something about it with the Starfield characters works. They showed the two MPCS that you interact with right at the start I believe it was, and then they showed the Sarah character as well who is like a pain in your ass the whole way through the game and I'm just surprised they didn't put the Sarah dislikes this underneath. Yes, that would have been hilarious. The one that got me was Hogwarts trailer bit. With the kid. Because that one was like, are you really just messing with lightning here?

Because the whole point of path tracing is that it's actually simulating natural light, right? So this is how light would react based on that light source, that light source, that light source. Like it is in this room, even though it's just pretty flat with me because it's just bright. But regardless, like when you look at that one of Hogwarts, he's outside like on like a chariot thing or whatever he's on. Like he's outside, he's very flat looking because it's diffused like evening time lighting, which would be the reality.

There's no path tracing on that either, by the way. But that is just like, OK, that's a pretty good simulation of how it would look in real life. Then they put DLSS 5 on. It's like paparazzi around him with like loads of different light. Yeah, there's like lights are all over him. It's like where they come from, like if the camera spins around and there are loads of wizard like. He's even had like, like light, like hotspots. Yes, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Like we'd call them hotspots in video, like, like when, when the brightness those those areas are blown out, like there's a light reflecting on him really close.

Like he's an Instagrammer and you go around to hold someone on TikTok. And as I watched them back more and more, just focusing on the characters, I was more and more concerned that this isn't just not trained by the assets in the game and not trained by the development team going this is how we want them to look at their very best. This feels like the data set it's been trained on is is Instagram. You TikTok. Or TikTok. It's like it's deeply disturbing. And you're right, the Hogwarts legacy ones was like well where's the where's the ring light come from? I'd be surprised if I could see it in their. Eyes.

Yeah, like me. Like if I. Do that exactly that I literally. Have a ring light. There like what? What's it? What has it been trained on? Yeah, it was. I think I'd even say it's perturbing. Big word of the day I. Like that, but it also made him look old and he's meant to be like a 15 year old student, you know, like, and that, that was the like weird bit. It's like, OK, I get where they're going with it, but that, that does not make any sense. Like it just didn't make any sense to me.

It, it reminded me a little bit of the do you know a few years back there's a Samsung phone that said it could take pictures of the moon. Yes. And it just wasn't. 100 times zoom and do you know which one was it? Was it Samsung or some other big company got done for? Actually, when they zoomed in far enough, it wasn't even the picture you'd taken. It was pulling images off of Google. And stitching them. Together to pretend like that you'd taken that photo. That's what this is.

It's exactly that it's, it's fake. And, and I understand the, the deep emotional reaction that people have had. I don't understand the anger and anger aimed at people like Digital Foundry had like death threats and stuff. And it got like really out of hand. Like that's a bit much. Aim your distaste at NVIDIA because it's on them, this kind of misstep and, and do it in a constructive way. Like make sure you you can communicate with them that this, the fake faces thing is not what you want in games.

Yes, we don't. We don't want that even question to the point of how many of us actually want to play perfectly photorealistic games. Exactly. Yeah. And especially when everything that has DLSS 5, it will look the same effectively, you know, like. That's some real concern. We're seeing those memes where it says like DLSS 5 on and off and it's literally just like alpha like models with no texture on them like on slash off it's like. But that's that will literally be the case if it goes this route because everything will just look the same.

So why even bother rendering out the base character underneath when you can just guess like you know? Yeah, just a Polygon triangle. This is girl. This is boy. It's just cloud strife like PS1. Exactly. That everything is just PS1 games again. Yeah, genuine concern is not knowing what they've trained it on, because obviously Gen. anything generative has to have a data set that it's basing it from. Jensen was keen to stress that it's based off the geometry that's in the game.

OK, can I just say that that sounds like half truth? Yes, yes. Obviously it's based off the geometry of the grain. Obviously it would have nothing because then it would have nothing to attach to if it didn't. Like obviously is, but where they're getting the actual face modeling from, it certainly doesn't feel like it's close enough to what's in the game. And if that is the direction of travel as you say, then doesn't everything eventually just end up?

Looking like an approximation of of itself. Everything becomes the same, yes. So you'll have like this is like 10 typical male looking faces like it'll just all end up like this is the option. Yeah, yeah, and, and what about games that are stylized on purpose, like hi-fi Rush or Overwatch? Do they just all look the same? Like do they turned into a real human face? Yeah, yeah, that's what I mean. Like, but all of it, because if the environment's getting affected as well as the body models, like they would just turn, turn into grace like or whatever.

Do you know what I mean? Like rather than how it's men to look, I like, like the Minecraft, for example, like how'd that work? You know, like it's just weird. Like we'd just be square bushes, but like photos of real bushes. Like yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, exactly. Look how. Many of us want to play that, though. There's the other thing like I like. We all like things looking cool, and I love when you get to see like, lighting being affected really well. Games like Resident Evil do a really good job of that because they're dark and environmental.

Oh, it's. Amazing. You can see rain. And refraction and stuff. Changes everything like it really does so like. Wake is another good. Example of another, another great one, yeah, that needs all that atmosphere and it just adds that level like with Rezi, because it's hot and fresh. Like you turn path tracing on and objects are like now really there like they can't the shadow as they really would. Whereas even on like highest ray tracing, there's no shadow.

Just like, you know, lights are still reflecting well, whatever. But like shadows aren't as good, reflections aren't as good, light spill isn't as good. As soon as you put path tracing on it, it really is that next step. It's almost like what ray tracing should have been is what path tracing is and and this DLSS 5, if it didn't affect the character models, if it was applied to old games and it was just environmental or even affect the character models, but you know old games, I would be fine with it.

But I do not like the idea of it going forward like that. All games look the same. Developers have no creative control because that is my biggest fear is the loss of creative direction. Again, take the grace example like that. That says everything as to what we referred to earlier. And like it's, it's a fear and also OK, this, this is just a tech demo. So we are all losing our minds over something that's true, not real yet. Like it was just a proof of concept. I do think it is using the actual like geometry because if you take graces someone's done like the side by side, overlaid them and then just turn them on and off. It's the exact same model.

It just is like makeup applied and then like crazy lighting that's not realistic to that scene and stuff like the Hogwarts example. Certain ones though, like Starfield and like Skyrim or whatever it was that they showed that they do not look like the same character models like that. As questionable as hell that is. But but yeah, I mean, they're running like 250 nineties to get this like 1's running the game, one's running the thing. In my mind, we're like 10 years away from this yet. Like because you think how much of A 5090 cost right now, like how all the GP US are now VRAM limited everything is because VRAM like, well, just RAM in general is like sky high through the roof, Steam Machines not even out yet because it's got RAM issues.

Like they can't get enough of it, you know, like everything's going to suffer for years for this and they're needing 250 nineties. That's like nearly 10 grands worth of GPUs, like just to run this freaking new tech. Like so the the realism of it coming down, trickling down to like consumer level where it would actually be like the next thing, especially handheld gaming. We're well over like 10 years away. Yeah, in my opinion, I don't even, I would question whether we even get to anywhere close to what they've shown on a consumer level. It feels it felt more like a flex for shareholders and like a flex for this is what we can do.

They never questioned whether they should do it. I thought it was really telling that one of the Capcom developers said they had no idea that this was happening. They said they found out as we found out and I think an Ubisoft one said the same. Wow, it's kind of insane. Yeah. And that that's a really worrying one because that shows you that they've they've just they got the sign off from the publishers to use the game footage and that's it. So it cannot have been trained on any of the models in the game because they didn't consult the developers at all. Yeah, one of the Ubisoft developers quoted as saying. We found out at the same time as the public article in Insider Gaming.

Sorry. Now the ugly part is the fallout from this as well. Yeah, people laying into Bethesda first of all for obviously showing Starfield and Skyrim, wasn't it? Yeah, yeah, I'm pretty sure they showed both of those. Yeah, they've basically come out and said we appreciate everyone's excitement and analysis. It's a very early look and art teams are adjusting it for the final effect. This will be under our artists control and totally optional for players. So they're, I think everyone's doing a bit of damage control here and like kind of climb back on it. Apart from Jensen Huang, the obviously CEO of NVIDIA, who just has doubled down in response to the criticism, says, well, first of all, they're all completely wrong. So Andy, your opinion is wrong.

You're not allowed to have your own thoughts. And it goes on to talk about that they've, it was very carefully based on fusing geometry inside the game. It's controllable. And this isn't full generative AI. It's geometry based fine tuning. You can mirror art styles if you want. If you want a cartoon shader or made of glass look, you can do that. All of that control is with the game developer and with the players to switch it on and off, right? I don't think you get it.

Well, maybe that's where they they they've messed up like maybe they should have maybe contacted Capcom gone by the way, guys got this new tech. Would your devs like to just make us a little teaser based upon how your artistic direction, where you'd know the characters, know the game direction, know everything about it might want to go Instead, they just didn't even ask him, did it themselves and just went, let's take TikTok as inspiration and Tik Tokified everyone, right? If they'd had given Bethesda like, you know, Capcom, Ubisoft, these tools and said, look, just make us like a real quick like minute video or something using your direction. This could have been the exact opposite reaction. People could have absolutely loved it, you know, because it would have then been in the control and maybe have one of the guys.

I'm the lead designer of blah, blah, blah. I work at Nintendo by the way, you know, just to reference. Game Freak. Game Freak. What was really exciting was being able to control the lighting in a in a way that we've never been able to do before because of the resources and yada yada yada. And then say, here's Grace. And you can see now she looks even more disturbed and upset with what she's about to experience. Not like she's going out for a party and she wants to get lucky.

Do you know what I mean? Like so, yeah. There's, there's enough emotion around already about AIAI slop generative AI being a problem. There's already enough like emotional reaction. So we know that these AI tools are implemented in in the pipelines now. And we have to just, we have to be sensitive of it and respectful of people's opinions. We can't just be like Jensen and say you're just wrong. Yeah. Yeah. Because ultimately they're the customers. They're the people that want to buy into this this art form and be entertained by it.

If if you felt really strongly about like CGI movies, you wouldn't go out and watch the Marvel films. Yes, yeah, because they're all CGI. Exactly. Yeah. But so you can't say to that person that doesn't like it. They're wrong, but they just don't like it. They don't like it. Yeah. As a whole, games are a very passionate audience and that they feel very strongly about this. I think on the whole they're kind of realistic as well and kind of accepting that some parts of this have to kind of to come in in order to keep pushing forward and to keep games being able to be made cost wise. But I think on the whole, most people would have been OK with it if, like you said, they'd gone into the developer Capcom and said, right, this is the tech. Can you train it on the models of Grace so we can show it before and after?

We want it to be as faithful to your direction as possible, but we want her to look as good as she physically can. Like wicked. Yeah, absolutely. Great. Yeah, I would have been all for that. And again, if they'd have been very transparent with that, like we said a second ago, got the devs there like showing their hype about it, explaining it, showing the before and after of like how they wanted that direction to go, it would have really changed everything.

It would have been a bigger thing. It's almost like they rushed this out just because they were impressed. They were like, Oh yeah, look how tick tocky this one looks wicked. Everyone will love it. Just whack it out. And then everyone's going whoa, like, what the hell? So yeah, it's. I felt bad for the Digital Foundry guys. Yes, I did. Not just the reaction they got, which is obviously bang out of order, but the I felt bad because they were invited to the demonstration and then immediately made a video without having a chance to really take a beat and kind of just like digest it all. And from having done those kind of things ourselves, your immediate reaction from being demonstrated something in a room where everything's exciting and new and it's very fast-paced. You barely got time to write a note down. You're just trying to like remember everything and then you record.

It's really hard, like really hard to in in that time frame to be like super balanced and to be like what? What does that mean for game? You don't have time. There's no time to. Reflect you just you just got to go, yeah. You just got to go and you see kind of basing off your emotions more than your logic is a misstep from them to to not take more time to kind of like be reasonable with it. But I get why their emotional reaction at first was one of excitement because they're in the headspace of the technical part of this.

Yes, it's a tech demo. So they weren't thinking about the art, they were thinking about technically. This is a a generational leap in technology and they're excited by that. For all of us, it was a lot easier because we, like you say, we had time to, like, wake up the next morning and look at it again and go, oh, crap, what's happening there? Actually, yeah. I totally with you and to be fair to the DF guys like like Ollie in particular, he he was saying, I think the faces are going to be divisive. Like I think people are on like potentially won't like this. Whatever he was more excited about, again, what we said, the environmental effects, the lighting effects, how stable those effects were and he was showing his excitement for that. And like if you watch that whole video, they don't go on to say any of that until like towards the end. So everyone's done the classic thing that they do with our videos where they'll watch the first 3 minutes, 5 minutes, whatever, and then base their opinion on that and that alone. And it's like I watched the fricking video. Like the amount of comments where people will ask something that's in the video.

Just watch the video like it's chaptered. You can literally go there yourself. Do it. Like why are you asking? I've seen a lot a reaction based off the title. Yes. Oh, that. That's all the time, yeah. It's like, well, you see, not even actually watched it, but how this I think you're right. I can say how this plays out. I think in truth, we we probably don't even see this. We definitely don't see in in the format that we're expecting. Yeah, we're absolutely a way off. And if the reaction continues to be as negative as it has been to specifically the character modelling, I think publishers won't touch it.

Yeah, which should probably be a problem for NVIDIA, but. Well, it's going to be an optional thing, isn't it? Because it is going to be more demanding and if you want to, if it has to be stacked with like another DLSS, do you know what I mean? Like alongside because I think that's what is happening, I think you've got DLSS 4.5 or whatever it is currently. And then they were also running DLSS 5 on top of it like separately. Like it's going to be so unbelievably demanding and like VRAM heavy. It's just not going to be practical. And obviously, like the devs won't fully utilize this anyway because like, look at AMD that hasn't got this. I know, I know they'll make their own, you know, and it'll probably be funny because it'll probably be like, like worse in some way.

And I'm saying that as someone who's like main GPU is, is an AMD card, right? So it's funny. But yeah, I mean, I don't think everyone's got to worry just yet that this is all you're going to get going forward. It will be optional and of course like Intel manufactured GPUs as well as AMD and they don't have it yet. So it's not going to be something we need to be concerned about just yet, I don't think. Yeah, no, I'm with you. Let's smash it along.

I should say. Welcome back to 128 Podcast, dude. Half an hour. Again. Yeah, I. Choose a lack of popular demand. I don't even know if I should do the intros anymore, but you know, here we are. We're, we're into the dessert part of the show. You've had your meat and potatoes. This is it. Stick around. This is the interlude. I think AJ, you need to get your like little keyboard out and do like a little interlude. Do do go get your snacks, come back.

That's it, Yeah. That's it, yeah. Beyond the massive fallout from NVIDIA, there has been other stuff that's happened this week that's been kind of interesting. Have you had time to play anything this week or have you just been testing stuff? I have been doing a lot of testing stuff, so much so I can't even think about what I've been doing right now I. You've not been playing a certain Nintendo game. I have been playing Pacopia, yeah. Yeah, we not.

Not as much as I've been wanting to, but I've been jumping on at least for like 10 minutes to get my stamp and to like maybe initiate like a build that takes time. So like I'll put a building on that takes like, oh, it'd be ready by tomorrow. I might as well like just get them all to do that since I can't play anyway. Do you know what I mean? And then tomorrow when I log in, it's there. So I have been playing, but they're like, the time spent playing is like considerably dropped. So yeah.

But I do want to get back into that like, pretty soon. I'd love to just be playing Requiem and Procopia this weekend, but it's my. Wife, I don't know how emotionally you cope with that switch. Oh, it's great. It's actually the perfect opposite. So last weekend I was playing Requiem. Yeah, again, incredible. Like absolutely love it. I really like not rushing this. Like I look forward to playing it at the weekend now because I'm not, I'm not just like smashing it.

I like just playing on the weekend again. This weekend, sadly, will be a no go. Maybe on Sunday night. It depends. We've got family and friends and stuff coming for my wife's birthday, so if we kick them out, they can all leave and I can play Requiem. But yeah, so and so playing Requiem would be like, Oh my God. Even though I don't agree that it's the scariest, like Resident Evil 7 is far more scary than this game, by the way. Like when when the early previews were like, Oh my God, it's like, that was scary. It's not, it's not like 7 was the most scary because it was such a stark difference between 6:00, which is laughable. Like nothing scary about that to seven, which was like, we'd never experienced anything like that. It's like, Oh my God, that was scary. It was like crying, you know?

Whereas this is like not, I get why people knew to the franchise will be like, you know, scared of it, but for like veterans or whatever and like no way. But I love it. I absolutely love Requiem. It's everything I want it to be. I just wish Grace had more makeup on and stuff. Yeah, she does need that. Yeah, she she looks like she'd be having. A good Isn't there time the the 30th anniversary's coming up next week. Isn't it next week? I don't have no idea what's going on with that. What are they going to do?

There's some special content coming. Apparently there's is it makeup DLC? It's makeup DLC. Yeah. It's really always coming. Yeah, yeah, yes, apparently there's some something exciting for players and they have planned more content for the game anyway, so maybe it's that. It feels a bit early for DLC stuff. Yeah, surely, but I don't know what it's going to be. I I suspect it'll be an announcement. It could be. Of one of the remakes. It will either be that, which would be great if it's I've just gone brain dead. Please.

One. I want one. Oh no. They're not going to announce that yet that they're they're going to save that for DLSS 5. No, this, this will be. I can't think of the name of the game. Oh, my days. The other one, the other one, Outbreak or whatever. No, not Outbreak. Someone in the comments will tell me what I'm thinking of, but there's a game called Resident Evil that might get a remake. I'd love to see Zero as well as this other one that I'm thinking of that I can't think of. I don't think it's going to be that actually. I think the content might be what's that online thing that they do on these games?

So like horde mode. So each time a game comes out, it's like, yeah, yeah, like a multiplayer. So that. Makes a lot more sense. That that might be the next one because Rezi, you know, 9 doesn't have that. So that might be the like, because it's so soon after the game and it's just like an additional thing like it'll be like, oh, go shoot like waves of zombies, you know. So it might be that I. Don't. Yeah, that makes more sense. But yeah, but Copia, just while we're still in the in that topic, we know it's been a cultural phenomenon.

Yes, firstly, it's Nintendo did press release selling that, saying that it sold 2.2 million units in its first four days. Yeah, it's crazy, isn't it? That's crazy and may have driven a 400% increase in switch to sales in the week leading up to launch. That's. Mad. It's I don't think anyone predicted it was going to be this. No. It's funny, isn't it? Games, games do that, though. They kind of creep up and then suddenly a like a cultural phenomenon.

It's yeah, I think like on on a personal front, like Arc Raiders was one of those moments where it was kind of like wasn't no one was really expecting much from it, but it became as things much bigger than it. Marathon never got close to it on the Play account either, no. I don't know. Not even close to it. They're not my kind of game, so. Have you played it much marathon? Oh no, I played it. For the yeah, they went yeah. I hadn't installed it straight away like as soon as the video was up. It's like uninstall, not.

Playing I don't play this. No, unfortunately they're just not my kind of games. Like 10-15 years ago. My life's weird. I've like done a round Robin. I know this is like sidetracking here. I used to when I was younger, obviously. Well, we didn't have Internet on our consoles so you couldn't play online. But when it got to the point where you could play online, I was like, yeah, all for it. You know, playing Call of Duty. I used to, I used to play Resident Evil 5 online with my mate on like 360 and that was amazing. Like one of the crappy microphone and headphones into. Whatever.

And I used to stay up late playing that and like, it was great. But I used to be all for the like online shooters and all these kind of like multiplayer games. And then when I got into like my sort of like mid to late 20s, just when I'm done, like I think I'd just done them so to death. Yeah, I was just sick of the same loop like, and I was like, you know what? I'm going back to like one player story games now and like specifically like linear style stuff, which we've discussed for previously. And that's where I still am.

I'd I'd I'd prefer. I think for a lot of people, especially people that live on their own, I think it's mainly a social thing. Yes. I think it's just an excuse just to go and hang out with people. And I feel like you're I'm. The opposite. So I like playing a game is an excuse to not be. Arrive, go away. Leave me alone. Yeah, leave me in my cave. It's fine. I know I'm going to jump around the notes, so I'm sorry, Andy, if you feel lost. It's it's also, it's been essentially the week of the handheld or the week of the handheld update. Firstly, we've seen the PlayStation Portal, which we rarely cover, but that got quite significant because it's not a real hand.

It got actually a really significant update, high quality mode, what it's called 1080P high quality mode, which gives an improved bit rate basically to the games that you're streaming, which is really interesting. One of our channel members in the Discord, Marcus, was saying that he was quoting the figures and it worked out about 50% increase in bit rate. That's incredible. That is so good because when it came out I was looking at videos of people using it and stuff and it was the bit rate that you could like. With video, when the bit rate's too low, it like becomes like, it's blocky, like it turns to Minecraft. Like everything turns to like.

So when I was looking at these streams and people were like, Oh my God, it plays so well. I'm like, are you playing Minecraft? Because it's like all these artifacts like everywhere. And I was like, Oh my God, I can't do that. I'm sorry I couldn't do that. All the power to you if you can stomach that, but I can't. So seeing a 50% increase in bit rate like that actually means like stuff will be totally playable, providing you've got a good connection. Yeah, 1080P, yeah, increased bitrate, like that's great. Like I, there's nothing inherently that I dislike about the Portal.

It's just the fact that we were expecting an actual handheld at the time and it turned out to just be a controller with a screen on it, which you could have done with your phone like anywhere, which is fine. Like, you know, it's fine. But, you know, we, we had some disappointment there and obviously it's got better over time. They've included the the subscription thing now so you can stream to it. You don't have to be tethered to a PlayStation 5. So I I think it is actually really good and this is really good news.

Yeah, there's a lot of talk as well, a lot of rumours that there's a O LED 120 version coming. Oh that then that would be more than worth it, especially with an increased bit rate if they can keep the cost down, which they should be able to because it's like basically got no internals like. Yeah, I think, I think if an O LED, O LED 120 Hertz comes out and you can stream it like that increased bit rate, then I'd be very tempted to get one because it gives you very cheap access to the PlayStation library of games. Yeah, especially as PlayStation go like full console exclusive in the future.

That's very, very true, yeah. That is true. It would be really, really exciting addition. Then I I'd still, I still want a just a straight up PlayStation handheld. I want want to play games natively. Yeah, but we're years off that, whereas if like next week they dropped an OLED fur in like that would be pretty good. The one thing they have to do is put about Wi-Fi chip in it guys. Isn't it running like Wi-Fi like 4 or something stupid? I think it might be 4 or.

Five. Yeah, It's like, what are you doing? Like this thing's a streaming device. Like put something good in there. It's like having just got an RJ45 Jack on the back of it. You just got to be tethered into the walls. Just an antenna that sticks out like one of those ones you got on a Wi-Fi card. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. And on the update front also switched to got a a huge upgrade I was going to. Bring this up. Yeah, Yeah. Good. We did a video on it, but there's it's such a Nintendo thing to do.

They didn't even do an announcement. They just shadow dropped system update and buried in the notes. It's like halfway down the notes on this update. Handheld boost mode, which is a fundamental console changing upgrade. That's just been oh, there you go. It's just made thousands of thousands and thousands of E shop slop actually playable now. All those hentai games, you can play them again. Yeah, you can actually see them in HD now rather than like HD ready. Yeah.

But no, in all seriousness, this is a monumental upgrade that should have been there from day one. Yes, but as we said, you know, literally we said right at the start like why isn't there a mode that lets you play Switch one games in docked mode and then devs need to do nothing. It just the switch thinks all the game thinks I'm docked. There you go, like. More power. Yeah, and that's why this is great, because it's not. We're not waiting for game specific switch to updates which seem to be very few and far between like they promised us a load and where have they gone like.

And also some of them seem to be just. Oh God, yeah. Absolute dog eggs, yes. Like Xenoblade Chronicles X. Great example. I was watching yeah, I'm sure I mentioned it in the video we put out, but like I was watching GVGS like deep dive on it and he John on that was playing Xenoblade Definitive Edition, blah, blah, blah, blah version and and show it's like showing the switch to version and it's it's such an awful, awful upgrade. Like Vasolini. It's got artifacts all right, it's horrible, especially handout. It looks horrible.

He uninstalls it and then installs the switch one version and puts handout boost mode on and it's yeah, I linked it in the if you go back to our video, I pinned it in the comment. It's like this is the video I'm talking about. It is night and day different better like the Switch one in boost mode, the specifically the characters. It's like oh so I would argue now to the point that unless there's a significant like 4K60 mode in the switch 2 version, don't bother buying a switch 2 version of the game if it comes out. Just just play it, play it handheld boost mode and play with Switch games unless there's, like I say, a significant like performance upgrade when you're docked and you play docked a lot.

I was going to say, if you're handheld only, which a lot of Switch two people are, then what's the point just by the Switch 1 version? It's it's phenomenal. It's a huge, huge upgrade that they yeah, they just roll out the the only one left is I saw people talking about is VRR docked. That that is a must have. And I also think this handheld docked mode thing, whatever they call it, should have been able to be quick toggled from the quick menu where you press and hold home and then it comes out to the side where you can quick connect to Bluetooth speakers, which I do all the time. And you can change the back paddle like things. If you're on a pro controller.

It would have been cool to be there boost on and off rather than having to close the game or like back out to the home screen. Go to the menu, go to the settings, go all the way to the bottom, go to system, go to switch one light entitlement or whatever it is, then change it like that's so long. Just have a single on and off switch from the home menu so that there and then if you're playing the game and you're like, Oh no, I've only got 50% battery life because I'm using this new docked mode thing, but I want to get more. Press and hold the home button, untaggle it. Bam.

Now I've got like double the battery life. Like it could have been so easy, but instead there's this stupid workaround. But yeah, whatever. Maybe they'll improve it. They probably won't. It's Nintendo. They're just kind of like we've done this now. There you go. Yeah, VRR docked, a lot of people talking about still, I think there's a fundamental reason why they've not done it. I think there's something. It's got to be something with a dock. Yeah but just release another dock. I'll buy one.

Yeah. Do you know what I mean? Like just do a switch 2 point O like 2.1 dock or something like literally HDMI 2.1. Make a Pacopia version and it's that's the only one with it in OH. And the dock actually looks like a Ditto and you yes, and it's actual Jelly and you just smash this with it's actual. Jelly. Yeah, yeah. Yeah, yeah, it's. Pretty much. Disposable docks. You use it once and then you throw it away. It's. Just that, Yeah. And finally, in the week of the handheld, the updates, we also at last we had a GPU driver update, didn't we? Handy.

Yeah, we did. Yeah, for the Xbox LIX it. Finally happened. Yeah, a long time coming. How long has it been since the? Is it the first one since it's come out? First driver update. I couldn't tell you if it was the first one. The last one was in like November. Yeah. So it was like a long time, you know, there was also an MCU driver and stuff like that update BIOS update as well. No graphics driver on the Xbox Ally base white one, the S as we call it.

So it's just the Z2 E thing then? Yeah, yeah, yeah. So it's only the X that got the driver upgrade. The the bigger upgrade there really was the the new Xbox Insider update, which we also covered in the video as well, which again isn't perfect. Go watch my video on it if you want to know more. Basically. Do you think? Because obviously the Xbox Insider is a preview of what's going to be rolled out, isn't it? Yeah, I was hoping that there was going to be more fundamental improvements by the time that this April release comes along, but it seems like we've seen some some important things changed. Adding apps to the homepage and stuff is cool. Yeah.

It's great the updates been a meaning that you can get to updates easier basically. That's cool, but I was hoping there'd be more fundamental xboxification. Yes, like a complete UI redesign to make it look like an Xbox. That's all I want. Like literally the second they do that I will be so much happier because I hate the Xbox full screen app look like whoever signed that off needs to get a slap because instead of getting rid of Phil and Sarah Bond, they should have got rid of that one.

Whoever that was that said, that's the idea. Just kick them out, get someone new in, Yeah? So this is what what the Insider program has, what you've shown is the Xbox mode. Yeah, that's what it's going to look like. That's Xbox. Mode. Why are they changing the name? I don't know it's so. Annoying like I hate it like why Xbox full screen experience I mean is the longest name ever it's like a. Horrible. Song title, you know, like but but it's so long.

Xbox mode, yeah, that's pretty lame, but that makes more sense. Why don't you lead with that originally like, but now there's a billion articles out there, a billion guides referring to it as Xbox full screen experience. We all know what XFSE means now. And now what do you call it? XM Xbox Mode? Like there's all these like, weird like, and it's, it's been what, 6 months? Yeah, exactly. Yeah, six months. Let's just change the name. The problem with both of those names, not that it overly matters, but it's for me it's indicative of the problem of Microsoft gaming. It's just weird lack of like conviction in the directions. They always kind of like flip flop around a bit too much. The problem with both of those names to me suggests that it's not the operating system.

It promised to be Xbox mode. And I know that is technically what it is, but how it's being sold, at least back in October, how it's being sold is like this is kind of baseline operating system level of stuff. And Xbox mode suggests it's just like a pause menu. Yes, Yeah. Yeah, exactly that, yeah. It's not like you're getting my Windows gaming operating system. I know just what it should be. It what should have been and why we kept referring to it as Xbox OS 100% and now with Project Helix, it literally will be Xbox OS like because that's what will be on the thing, you know, so it's like it's yeah, it's frustrating.

So just. Why can't they just look at what works around them? Like a look at their own operating system on Xbox and go that works really well, but also what our competitors doing. Steam's over here, they've got a handheld console and are moving into the PC living room space. What do they do? Well, they've got Steam OS on top of Linux. That's what they do. But at no point do Valve make loads of reference to Linux. No, they're never. It's just Steam OS.

No, it's back out to desktop. It's not back out to Linux. Exactly. So it's the same thing. Like it's literally the same thing. So just call it freaking Xbox OS and be done with it. And if they make a third name change when the Helix comes out, I'll finally be happy if they call it Xbox OS, you know. But until then, Xbox full screen experience sounds crap and Xbox mode also sounds crap. So just change it again. Rename it. Hire us to come up with names for you. I'll do it.

I'll do it for free. New Xbox. To be honest, you don't even have to pass. Just give us. Helixes, just give us Helixes. Yeah. Final thing I want to, I want to go over is game that you're doing a will it run on next week? I believe it is. Maybe at the time when this goes out it'll be tomorrow. Wow, OK. Crimson dessert Yes yeah, every time we can HA message, we keep calling it dessert. The Crimson Dessert is, well, it's exciting. First of all, because it's a massively expansive giant RPG that seemingly can run on an Xbox LIX, which is exciting.

Yeah, yeah. 400,000 pre sales on Steam, which is wild, apparently about $20 million in revenue, but that's just on Steam because obviously this will be on the Microsoft Store as well. Wouldn't it play anyway? Yeah, yeah, yeah. And PlayStation, Yeah. So that's incredible. There's been a lot of anticipation for it, but the early reviews are out because obviously those in the press that are lucky enough to get hands on early, not us, never us. We still have to buy every game that we. Isn't it?

Yeah, yeah. But there we go. Yeah, so the early reviews are in, and it's got its Metacritic score from the kind of the critics rather than the players of 78. Yeah, currently it was a 77. It's crept up a little bit at the time of filming now. So just to let in everyone, the whole reason we're filming this podcast early is because Crimson Desert, actually Desert actually comes out tonight at 10:00 PM UK, but I'll be in bed by then. So tomorrow, which is normally when we film the podcast Friday, I'm actually then going to have to be filming and testing this video. And then fingers crossed that video will be up on Saturday. If not, it'll be Monday and sorry, you have to wait. We'll see how it goes.

But yeah, so at the time of filming, like it's just reviews that have gone live 7778, like we're sat at 78 right now. I did just want to quickly jump in on the handheld thing. So sort of one person testing it on Steam Deck and it was running at what looked to be like 20 FPS. And the comments were looks great. And I was like, really? I would not expect this to run on the Steam Deck to be honest, but the fact that it's it's, it's playable, is is. Something, yeah, just stream to it. Stream to it.

Do you know what I mean? Like if you've got PlayStation, an Xbox or APC, just use Moonlight or whatever you're doing. Just stream it from another device. I played all of Final Fantasy 7 Remake streaming that game to the Steam Deck OLED and it was a way better like experience than trying to run it natively. Yeah, 100%. I will say with the Metacritic scores and critic reviews, a critic reviews are like, they're all over the place. And quite often I find myself at odds with what they are. Like a game I really love gets a really low score or all the other way around.

I've played really high score games and gone like, well, that's really not very good. Notable mentions off the top of my head, Stella Blade I believe was an 80 or a 79. And that's a great game, yeah. Yeah, it is. So I mean, pinch yourself, but I do have some concerns about the game the more I've seen of it. Yeah, I mean, I've always had a bit of concern because again, kind of what I said earlier, I'm like a more linear guy now. I used to love open world, like when it was the new thing, when there was nothing open world before and it was this new thing, it was like, Oh my God, I could do all this stuff. Like GTA 3 was like mind blown.

Oh my God. Now I'm kind of like, yeah, it's not like it's not mind blowing to me anymore. I actually see it as like a time sink and see open world games of like, I'm going to be bored in that because there's no direction and then I'm going to like go down like side quest route, get bored, quit, you know. So like I get this kind of like open world dread that we've mentioned a lot where it's like if it's more linear, even if it's got like a, a hub system like Rebirth, I can deal with that, you know, because that's not too bad.

It's not not that big really. Each zone is quite small. And if you focus on the story and stuff like that, that's fine. But when I saw this, I was like, they're saying it's like over double the size of Skyrim map. Skyrim's too big. Do you know what I mean? So like bigger than? The Red Dead 2 map. Yeah, and I was like, but it's fully open. That sounds barren and a little bit like, I don't know, I've been hyped. Don't get me wrong. The graphics like insane. You can like do all sorts of random stuff like it just this my shoe is it looks like it's trying to be everything. That is exactly my problems.

I'm so glad you've hit the nail on the head. The fact that I thought it was like a medieval slash magic RPG kind of Skyrim esque, and I was like, I'm all for that. Yeah, I like those kind of games. They're cool. When they're done right, they're really cool. And then I started seeing like jet packs and like robots shooting lasers and and riding a dinosaur. I was like, what the hell is this game? Is it just like a asset dump where they just get loads of stock assets like Chuck it in?

What makes it 5? That's the truth of it. It's the first game testing it. Yeah, that's. So I'm worried that it's going to be, it's trying to be everything and actually winds up being a bit of nothing. And I've seen two really contrasting opinions on it. Firstly, John Lineman, I'm from Digital Foundry, did like a whole video on it, which was really exciting. And he was sharing his excitement on like how detailed the world is. And like, it took him 4 hours to go from one side to the other, not because of the size, but just because of the sheer amount of like random encounters and stuff that happened. And it never felt forced.

It always felt interesting. And everything had a layer of detail to it so that I was like, this could be amazing. It could be an open world that actually feels justified for once. And it still could be. Yeah, yeah. Which the only time I've come across that person is Red Dead 2 where a massive map, open world and the whole thing feels justified. It never feels, never feels too expansive and dread filled. And then this morning I watched the review from you watched it as well. I always forget the name of their show. They do like a live show, kind of funny Games. Yeah.

And they're like, it's, it's a fair score. It's pretty mediocre. It's like if you imagine everyone always talks about they should make Breath of the Wild more realistic. It's like that. It's not good. Yeah, yeah. They, they were pretty much saying what we were kind of worried about. They were like, the story sucks. Like, you know, it's kind of just a bit of everything, a bit of nothing. Kind of like they were giving it sixes, like, you know, and it's like, The thing is, is some people will love that because, again, it's all taste, isn't it?

Like it's like a food critic is only critiquing stuff for themselves realistically. Like so some people will absolutely love this game. I think it will be a big thing for those people. Other people will absolutely down hate it. I don't know where I sit yet not played it. Like I'm just going to be testing it out, you know, soon when I can. But I don't know. Like I know strength of the bat is something that my wife would love because she loves Red Dead, Skyrim, all those kind of like big open worldy things.

Whereas like I'd be going into this with back foot thinking it's too big like straight away. Do you know what I mean? Even though I'm excited to see it and I'm hard to try it, I think I don't. Know there's where the game where open world games work when they succeed like big ones and I go back to like Red Dead 2 is it's like a really good example because because I think it's it's definitely a top five games of all time for me. I absolutely adore that game, Red. Dead 2 is amazing.

The reason it works is because the story is so good and so compelling and convincing that you're hooked, you're invested, and you've given yourself a reason to care about these characters. That's what I felt about Rebirth, you know, like with Final Fantasy, Like it's the only way I managed to get into it because I actually just started playing the story and got sucked into that. Then everything else was like fun on top. Yeah, I mean, random encounter, all these things happen.

Oh, I might actually go get that, because that sounds like fun. All that stuff's just added fluff, but the the the story is so good that it hooks you through. I worry that this and from from what those guys were saying, this doesn't have that You have no reason to care. You don't even really know why you're doing stuff. This is a offline MMO for people that play Mmos and skip dialogue, which is my wife. So this is literally that. So like when you've played enough Mmos like I have, you just don't even read text anymore like you don't care about the story.

It's all. It could just be AI generated because no one gives a crap. Like it's just like skip skip skip. Give me how many like cows do I need to kill? Like OK, yeah, that's how many like off I go fetch quest. It looks like an offline MMO like that's what it's like. And it's just an open sandbox for you to go play in basically. And I'm sure it's going to be fun for those kind of people. But if you're going into this for like wanting like a deep heavy invested like storyline, I don't think you're going to get that.

No, no, sadly. And I think for me, that'll be how I check out. If I if I do play it, it'd be like it's just not yes, not draw me the same way and I'll and the the feeling of dread, which is really natural with big games will be enough to put me off and the story's not strong enough to keep me and let's do some real fun mechanic in it that you don't realize jet packs, jet packs, but just just exploring on its own doesn't do it doesn't do it for me anymore.

No, not for me. No, like I I like and this is going to get hey, I struggle with the Zelda games now. I do. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah, you open like Tears of the Kingdom or Breath of Wild, and you're like, there's so much to explore. Yep, when when it came out, I was loving it because it was so different. I it was when the switch just dropped, you know, which is coming up to 10 years ago. Yeah, I know. And it was mind blowing. I was just like, this is incredible.

I absolutely love this. And I then like put it down and then when I come back to it, I'm like, I can't do it. Yeah, I literally can't do it. Yeah, I'm the same. So who knows how Crimson Desert will play out. I'm curious to see how it runs from a just purely technical point of view. I'm looking forward to your videos on it. Your video on it. Yes, yeah. I'm looking forward to testing it out. Yeah, it should be fun. I'd love to know what you guys think.

Are you going to get it? Are you going to get Crimson Desert or not? Is it your thing or not? And more importantly, how do you feel about DLSS 5? Because in the next video we're both going to be using it to replace this. Oh yeah, I wish. Just AI versions of ourselves. That's it. I'd do that. I would train it on my voice and just get it to do the videos for me. I'd just type in a script and I can just go delay somewhere and it can be. Oh wow, my name is Andy.

There we go, you can just do it for me with that voice. And. I'll just have a static screenshot of my face. I don't sound fuck, I cut out in Photoshop and just like move it like a puppet. People will be fine with it. They'll. Be I'm not Canadian, so you know. What's that all a boot? Let us know your thoughts. I don't even know what the question is anymore, but let us know your thoughts anyway down in the comments once you're done and make sure you like this video subscribe for more handheld gaming content. What else should they do, Andy?

But. Come and remember and you get to chat to us over on our Discord as well. Yes, love it. OK, so until the next time. Have a nice day. Yeah, that's it. Bye.
