"LA CHICA O EL MUNDO" - PT02 - TIME TO BREAK A FEW EGGS... Oh, my goodness, individuals and weirdos!! This is IT! The final episode of the Ultimate Breakdown of "Plur1bus." More than five months and over 20 hours of discussion about the nine hours of Season One of "Plur1bus." We get back into it with Carol passed out on the couch. While she was drinking and watching Golden Girls, Manousos was busy across the cul-de-sac! He invited Zosia over so she could tell him TODO! Carol didn't like it, pulled her back home, and Manousos dialed zero for "another one." He is up to some serious…

"LA CHICA O EL MUNDO" - PT01 - OH, CAROL! YOUR MANOUSOS IS HERE! Before we do anything, do you remember the Peruvian girl from the second episode? Her name was Kusimayu. She's from Peru and was really bummed she did NOT become a member of the hive. In the open of this episode, her bespoke virus is ready. We jump ahead a few days to see it arrive in her village. She takes a whiff, shakes a bit, and voila, she is in the hive. Once she's joined, the members of her village abandon the place. She even lets the goats and livestock go. Over in the ABQ around eleven days earlier, Manousos is about…

"CHARM OFFENSIVE" - PT02 - REALITY DATING AT ITS FINEST!! Carol and Zosia continue their whirlwind romance around the ABQ. We're off to play some croquet...or how about a couple's massage...maybe even a night of stargazing?? Reality TV show producers could not come up with more unique or TV-friendly activities if they tried. The hive has even recreated the diner where Carol wrote her first Wycaro title. That's quite a feat considering it burned down maybe 20 years ago. They were also able to find the original waitress who had made Carol feel so welcome as she was chugging free coffee and…

"CHARM OFFENSIVE" - PT01 - THE GANG IS BACK IN THE ABQ!! After a biblical stint of 36 days alone in the desert, Carol gave up and gave in. She painted a huge "come back" in the middle of the cul-de-sac. Within minutes, she was clutching Zosia in a tearful embrace. Jets are streaming through the sky towards the Sunport. All will be back to a hive mind level of normal in just a couple of hours. Carol isn't sure how to act around people. She mixes up some room temperature pink Lemonade and tries to make small talk about fine art and wild animals. She is nervous and tongue-tied but obviously…

"THE GAP" - PT02 - FROM THE JUNGLES TO THE ROOFTOPS!! [NOTE: Due to some equipment issues, you may encounter static or spikes that sound like clipping at various points in this program. New gear is on the way! Rather than wait, I decided this one was acceptable. Hopefully it's not too bad for this one and the problem will be corrected by the equipment upgrade.] In the second part of this somewhat unloved episode, we catch up to Manousos. We follow him as he makes his way from Paraguay all the way to the Darien Gap! What's the Darien Gap? It's one of the most dangerous stretches of jungle…

"THE GAP" - PT01 - AN EPIC JOURNEY BEGINS...BUT FIRST, LET'S PARTY WITH CAROL! In this unloved episode, it's time to launch Manousos on his journey from Paraguay to Albuquerque. But, before we do that, it's time to hang with Carol for a day out! First, a little golf at the ABQ Country Club. The wildlife is taking the place over, but you can still play for the time being. Carol's going to nab a new ride while there. Then it's off to the Jemez Hot Springs. Carol relaxes in a mineral bath while belting out a Nelly tune. After that, the Hive has prepared an incredible dinner at the Level Five…

H.D.P. - PT03 - CHECKING IN WITH THE PARAGUAY GUY! The final fifteen minutes of "H.D.P." is spent in Paraguay. We step back in time (according to the timer that opens the segment) to the point where Manousos startts on his epic journey to Albuquerque. I felt like it was too much to add in at the end of the last podcast episode. Also, since it is so different as a scene, I felt like this segment should get its own 'mini-episode.' We're going to check in on Manousos in Paraguay. He's finished his frequency scanning project. Just as he was looking for a new hobby, a VHS tape from Carol Sturka…

H.D.P. - PT02 - WHOA! IS THAT JOHN CENA? This week we're hanging with Mr. D.! One of the other unjoined, the stylish ne'er do well Khoumba Diabate, has taken up residence at a palace in the sky. It's the Verona Sky Villa at the otherwise uninhabited Westgate Hotel in the also unhinhabited Las Vegas, NV. Carol has sought out Mr. D. to tell him about this horror of cannibalism she's discovered in the hive. Too late! Diabate, and all of the other unjoined, are not only aware, they dont' seem to really care. John Cena...yes, THAT John Cena...steps in to explain via video. John's so good at it,…

H.D.P. - PT01 - HEY, WHATCHA EATIN' THERE? We last left Carol gasping in a dark and cold warehouse. What had she found?? Oh, we're going to find out pretty quickly. Not that anyone was all that surprised about it. They're eating people!! Carol has to tell SOMEBODY, and preferably somebody who is NOT a part of the hive mind. She decides to drive to Las Vegas. Mr. Khoumba Diabate was supposed to be staying there for a bit, at least. You remember he was in search of Elvis' ghost at the top of the Westgate. He's the closest unjoined person to her, and she can even drive to him. Carol heads out…

GOT MILK - PT02 - THE HIVE MIND IS THIRSTY! Carol has a lot of sleuthing left to do this episode. Just like a southwestern Nancy Drew, she is going to discover the horrid secret of The Milk!! It all starts with throwing away your trash...because the drones sure can't do it! In the trash is where she notices the millk cartons. Which, of course, means a trip to the dairy. What's that powdered stuff at the dairy? And what kind of liquid are they passing off for milk? Carol won't stop until she has answers!! After a fluke brown bag identification, Carol arrives at Agri-Jet. Here she makes a…

She's going to 'go it alone'...REALLY alone for the first time since the joining. The hive has bugged out of the ABQ leaving nothing but Carol and a whole lot of empty milk cartons. FINALLY! WE'RE GOING TO FIND OUT WHY THEY CALLED IT, 'PLEASE, CAROL!" Welcome back to the Ultimate breakdown of 'Plur1bus' Season One. After her talk with Larry, Carol is fairly certain the hive can't lie. She decides to help the difficult reveals along with a little Sodium Pentathol. You know...what the WW2 spies swore by as 'truth serum.' But first, Carol has to try it out on her self. The experiment is hilarious...and revealing. When Carol tries the same thing with Zosia, it doesn't go nearly as well. How bad is it? There are handcuffs and a defribrillator involved. This is the SECOND…
