SPEAKER_31:Please, I want you to do something for me, right? I think the goal is to make sure everyone watching this podcast grows to become a mastermind. So imagine you had the power to stretch your hand through the camera into the mind of the person watching right now and drop an idea that will create a complete mindset shift. What would that idea be?
SPEAKER_22:Think about yourself at the age of 70, where you have a stroke and you have dementia. And you have a family and people that you could have that could have benefited from the talent that you have and the skill that you have, it will probably kill you faster than the stroke will. None of us is. We will get to a point where we'll have to say our last words. And when we are saying those words, it must be in the name of the people we impacted, not how we just felt in this world.
SPEAKER_22:And remember, people will remember how you made them feel, not what you said.
SPEAKER_30:You are here, or if you are watching me now and then you feel very low confident of yourself. Please, please start doing the things that you're not doing. Start doing them. Put yourself out there. If you want to build confidence in um public speaking, start recording yourself. Start going out, start calling friends and then speaking to them. Because the more you do, the more you become confident in that area.
SPEAKER_15:You're more powerful than you think. You have the tools with you to make a difference. You don't always have to look for support. You can think of you as the support to somebody else. You don't always have to beg for a handout and think that you are less than you are, because you have a lot. And in this era that we are in, you have all the tools also to get your message out there. You know, from crafting the message to distributing it, and distribution is key.
SPEAKER_15:Get your ideas to spread your ideas. So there's a lot more that you can do with what you have. But the key thing is to start. You have a beautiful car with a nice key, but you don't put the key into the condition and turn it, the car's gonna sit there.
SPEAKER_34:Don't put yourself first, identify your purpose regardless of the pain you will go through. Just do it because it's your purpose. We won't be here forever, but you need to leave a legacy for your children, for your organization, for anybody watching you. Leave an impact, leave a mark in the lives of people. It's the smiles that we put on the faces of people that actually matter. It's not just what you benefit as an individual, but the multiple lives that we can transform if you're able to identify your purpose.
SPEAKER_24:Motivation doesn't do jack. Just be dedicated to that thing you know will help you and keep doing it over and over and over and over again, even if you don't immediately see your results.
SPEAKER_10:So everyone wants to be a lion until it's time to look to do lying stuff. I think we have, as Africans, these audacious ideas of how we should we should be seeing by the world and how the world should see us. Um our time is now. Like, and a great man who is a very good friend of mine will probably be on Richie's show at some point. Kojo Buffwe voice reminds me we are greater than the box we've been put in. Um and we need if we want to do all the audacious stuff and be seen as the audacious people, we need to do lion stuff.
SPEAKER_10:We are Africans like the lion, grab life by the throat, don't be hamstrung by what the world puts a mirror as in front of you. It's our time to break the mirrors and redefine how the world sees us. So do lion shit.
SPEAKER_31:I love that. Do lion shit.
SPEAKER_33:One of the uh brightest minds we have in Africa, said one thing that was so profound. And he said that as Africans, we should stop begging, we should stop blaming, we should stop borrowing and brand. And that sats really, really well with me. Um, that what we need to do as Africans, and if if I say Africans, it's all of us. So anybody who's watching is an African, you should be the change you want to see, you know, around you. And if I say be the change, it's the storytelling.
SPEAKER_33:Um, for me, as Kojo Sobo, I say I am an advocate for African excellence. Whatever work I do, I try to have excellence run through so that anybody who encounters my work will respect Africa because of the work that the person uh you know has seen me do or the work that I've I've put out. So if whatever you're doing, whether you're a carpenter, whether you're an entertainer, whether you're a doctor, whatever work you're doing, do it well. Brand. Put out good work because whatever you're doing, you're telling a story about Africa.
SPEAKER_33:You're a storyteller. You're if you're an African, you're a storyteller, and whatever story you're telling is a story of Africa. So tell a good story.
SPEAKER_36:What's coming to mind is impossible is nothing. Impossible, there's nothing that is impossible, and whatever it is that you set your mind to do, you can do it if you are prepared to put in the work. It doesn't happen by magic. But if you plan it, you think it you dream it, you put in the work, you can do it. Nice. And for me, that is my mindset. It's a possibility mindset. Everything is possible. I I I I don't believe if you tell me something's impossible, you've challenged me.
SPEAKER_36:That's when you will even do it more. I it can be possible, guys.
SPEAKER_51:Nobody's coming to save us. Umbody's coming. I know that we have a savior complex, I know that we we taunt independence, and the idea we have behind independence is you know, there will be heroes, superheroes, that would come and then they will break the back of the oppressor, and then we would be saved. Nobody's coming. Um, Africa's problems will be solved by Africans, Ghana's problems will be solved by Ghanaians. Uh, the day you understand that the government cannot save you, your lecturers will not save you, your parents cannot save you, that's the day everything changes.
SPEAKER_51:And because of that, you owe it to yourself and to posterity to take your learning into your own hands, to build a very robust system that is continuously uh learning, updating, uh improving upon itself. The the best way to live right now is to build yourself a brand that you can eat off today, then build the brand, your own second brand that would eat this brand so that you can go into the next one and keep doing it forever and ever.
SPEAKER_23:What I say is you're amazing. And give yourself a break. Be graceful with how you manage situations. So just be graceful and be don't be too hard on yourself. Yeah.
SPEAKER_31:Be positive.
SPEAKER_23:Because we're all just basically navigating through life.
SPEAKER_31:Yeah. We really are just winging it.
SPEAKER_23:It's our first time here, is it not? I know.
SPEAKER_13:I don't think there's anything in this world that is impossible for a human to achieve. And I say that because I believe in God, and God endowed us with enough brilliance and strength and everything to make the impossible possible. We've seen it happen over and over and over again. So the least that you can do as a human being, no matter where you're from, is to believe that it is possible. And if you fail, you fail. Let them laugh. You will try again.
SPEAKER_13:If you fail again, that's absolutely okay. But eventually, even if not you, somebody from your lineage will succeed. And it will be because you spoke and you believed that anything is possible. So don't make anybody lie you, not to go for do for this audience at all be Vim.
SPEAKER_27:I would want to tell them that they should treat their talents like a business, not a hobby.
SPEAKER_03:I think for me, it goes back to what you were saying a little bit earlier about failure. Is uh eat failure, true it every day, chase the next one. Because the benefit of failures is so many lessons learned. If I think about my biggest failures, they hurt, they were painful, some of them were expensive, right? But each one of them has crafted a better version of me and molded a better version of me. So what I would say, instead of trying to chase perfection and the perfect product, the perfect project, the perfect business, it's like go and chase the things that are gonna put you at risk to fail a little bit and then bounce back, right?
SPEAKER_03:And see what that lesson takes you.
SPEAKER_31:I want you to do something for me. So normally I would say that I want you to say something to the person watching to make them a mastermind. But with you, I want you to look in your camera there and reach out to the person who's watching right now, right? And what idea, what states can you help put them in so that they can master their spirit, so that their spirit can master their mind.
SPEAKER_06:Yes, when one attains the peace, then it is not only your breath that will become silent, but your brain waves will also settle down to a balanced brainwave, and then your eyes, your eyelids they move alongside with your breath and your thoughts. So when you are thinking too much and your breath is out of rhythm, your eyes will also be moving by this. So if I'm looking at you and I'm not moving the eyes, and you look into my eyes, then the peaceful energy is entering your eyes, and it's calming you.
SPEAKER_06:This is what is called danshan in the uh ancient times, they call it danshan. Okay, just uh coming into the energy flow of one who has the realization. Okay, he's not different from you, it's only a matter of um you shifting into the doing mode, and he shifts into the being mode, so he's more of in percentage, it's his uh uh the dominant energy in him is uh peace, okay, it's the being, and just a small portion to do things, but the remaining all is just a peace, peace, peace.
SPEAKER_06:So it is there with you, it's just a shift that you need, and once you attain it, all other things are attained.
SPEAKER_48:Listen, you need to damn the consequences all the time, every action has a consequence, everything you do would have a repercussion. But the biggest mistake you will ever make is to not try. You must try because you can try and fail, but you can also try and win. When you fail, it's just a lesson, right? You go back and you do things better. But what's the point? What's the point in not trying? What's the point in not making your dream materialized?
SPEAKER_48:What's the point in not taking the bull by the horn? What's the point in not hitting the bull's eye? That must be your goal every day. You must hit the bull's eye. You must go out and try and tell yourself that I'm damning the consequence today because I can do it. Period.
SPEAKER_29:Yes, to those visionaries out there who really want to move, I would say stay hungry, stay foolish, and never have an Areva mentality. Because that could be very deadly to your group.
SPEAKER_12:Always give the audience a reason to keep coming back to see you.
SPEAKER_08:What I would want to tell you, the one watching, is that um I want you to believe in yourself. I want you to take time and search within yourself. And whatever you find, have the confidence to embrace it. We are all different, we are not the same, we are good at different things. So when you find what you are good at, it might not be the usual things around you or the norm, but please have the confidence to embrace it. And if people don't believe it, it is your task to show them.
SPEAKER_08:If they laugh at you, you laugh at them in your mind because they don't know what you are seeing, but you will definitely show them. So I want you to believe in yourself. Anything is possible. Um, just have the the confidence, believe in yourself, be focused and disciplined, and whatever you put your mind to, you will achieve it.
SPEAKER_39:Never be in a rush. Um not be in a rush as you be lazy or anything like that, but um working on, you know, work intensely on what you're doing. Okay, you know, research and build it in such a way that once you unveil it or once you bring it out, or once you start, there's no question about how great that that will be. And do all the work to make sure that it's great enough when you bring it out. That's what I mean by don't be in a rush. Yeah, you know, you not being a rush can be a month, you figuring everything out, it can be a year, but it's your own timeline to make sure that whatever you're creating, whatever you're doing, is something that is solving the solution, but it's good enough to solve that solution.
SPEAKER_39:That there's so much, there's not a lot of questions around it. Um, so that's what I would say.
SPEAKER_07:Choose something that you love doing, so you will never get tired of doing it. To be successful, you've got to do something again and again and again and again. You can't stop when it gets hard, you can't give up. So choose to do something that you love so much that nobody in this world can discourage you, or nothing in this world can make you stop. Because success is always just around the corner, right? No matter where you are, success is around the corner.
SPEAKER_07:It might be in 20 years' time, it might be in 30 years' time, but as long as you keep digging that same hole, and because you love digging that hole, you won't think of giving up. It's for me the saddest thing is you can only give up your dreams if you don't love that dream. But if you love that dream, you will never give up. So choose a dream. Choose, you know, it's like what am I going to be when I grow up? Tell it, be what you love doing, right?
SPEAKER_07:So that you can be the hardest working. If you love being a doctor, telly, you will work 12 hours a day and you will love it. You know, so don't be a doctor because you think, oh, a doctor is a prestigious job. Become a doctor because you love healing people. Then if it's going to take you eight years of going to school to get there, you will do it with your eyes closed. No, whatever you have to do to get to where you want to be, because you love to be there, is easy to do.
SPEAKER_17:If you're a recent graduate, you need to understand this. Working for your own money is better than someone paying you. So put down your pride, put down everything, think like the market women. That's where the money is. Because our family members in the states are doing minial jobs in the states, and they we and anytime they come to Ghana, we call them bodies. So you can also do that same mini-job here and make that money. Get the capacity, get your mind of being an employee and employ yourself, build the system.
SPEAKER_17:You see, it is better to build a system than you might you being assigned to handle a system. It's better to bake your own bread and sell to someone than to move to a shop and buy that bread. So, double up, don't give up. It is possible. I just want to tell you, think like the bank. Do you know how the bank thinks? They think by owning things, even though it's not this, they own things and never give up. And picture your mind as being truthful because a good character and your good personality will make you take things for free without pain.
SPEAKER_17:As I'm sitting here, this um the this company I'm working with, they supply me things worth of thousands of CDs, and they do take the money after I do so. So that's why I can see never give up.
SPEAKER_02:I think success, you can define it, or it's underpinned by it's serendipitous to an extent, right? So we believe as a family, like my dad mentioned, that it comes as a consequence as a consequence of God's hand in your life. Um but to the average person, it comes off as a result of like an like an average, well not an average, but a a random event, a random event that enabled you to get to the point where success comes, right? But what is required is hard work.
SPEAKER_02:Okay, that's what's required, right? So understanding that to my dad's point, not everyone's gonna be successful. Um in the definition of the world. Of the world, correct. The way the world understands success, not everyone's gonna be successful, but in order to give yourself the best chance to be successful, like the prerequisite um is hard work. So that's it. Like, there's no there's no get rich scheme, there's no six-month thing. This is like a 20-year put your head down and ready go at it.
SPEAKER_02:So that would probably be the yeah.
SPEAKER_31:Charles, how about you?
SPEAKER_46:Very little to add to what Bongani says. I I I think the hard work every day consistently to improve the small things, to get better at the small things, to improve the margins, to learn from the mistakes and work harder to get better. There is there is absolutely no substitute in terms of if if you define success, let's say, for the purposes of your audience, I think there's I think there's financial wealth and and and monetary terms that miss the point on success.
SPEAKER_46:But if you strictly speaking, talk about trying to build something, and it doesn't have to be a business, it could be a school, it could be a church, it could be a family, even, right? There is a journey and a uh an understanding that consistently doing the right things over a long period of time is going to be your lot. If you're looking for the shortcut, the sort of get-rich quick schemes that Bongani is talking about, you may even have a degree of success for a time.
SPEAKER_46:It is very difficult to sustain. It's very difficult to build something that will sustain over a lifetime or even beyond, like you're talking about intergenerational success that is passed on and so on. It comes from just hard work, putting your head down and doing the right thing consistently over time.
SPEAKER_09:For that one person that is listening to me, I have talked a lot about sales, you have read about it, and I know you're going to develop yourself to become a great person in sales. But listen to this. You have to implement every single thing. I wrote that in my book actually, in the beginning. I wrote that if you're not ready to implement it, don't read this book, you're wasting your time. So, everything you have learned, put it to practice, see what works for you and what doesn't work for your industry.
SPEAKER_09:Because information without implementation is just expensive entertainment. So go out there and execute. And don't forget that life is pain, and the path to progress is pain. So if you're going through that pain right now, just know you are progressing. See you at the top.
SPEAKER_14:So I believe that everything is understanding. Okay, it is our understanding, and that is what separates us from animals because we understand some things that they don't understand. Yeah. Understanding is what you know, the difference between rich people and poor people. Because rich people understand some things that poor people don't. Yes. Okay, understanding is the difference between everything. So once you have an understanding of certain principles, so you have to be in search of knowledge.
SPEAKER_14:Okay. Today there's artificial intelligence that is there. You can learn about pretty much anything on the internet, right? You can let artificial intelligence guide you. You can. A prompt that I personally recommend for everybody to use is that I want you to act as my life coach. I want you to ask me questions. Continue asking me questions until you have understood where my life is headed and recommend solutions to me so that I can use it to fix my life.
SPEAKER_14:This is a very powerful prompt that most people watching today can use that to signal it and you know understanding of important things in their lives.
SPEAKER_31:Okay who's battling consistent anxiety.
SPEAKER_14:Okay.
SPEAKER_31:How do you think you can help this person reduce their anxiety?
SPEAKER_20:So with this consistent anxiety, it's going to, I mean, the stress is coming. The question is, what is even causing anxiety? Um, just know that there's help available. Okay. And you can start from somewhere. Someone will say, Oh, maybe I don't have money to go to the hospital. Or I don't uh the stigma and all of that. But there are simple, simple, simple things you can start on your own. Some of the coping mechanisms you talked about. Now you're very anxious.
SPEAKER_20:Start with perceived control. Try and search realistic goals for yourself. And every day that you accomplish attacks, give yourself a thumbs up and forget about what you couldn't do. Be optimistic that there's always hope and you can always get out of your anxiety. Okay, involve other people who are in your life, either good friends, either family. Um, there are so many online coaches, there are so many mentors. Reach out to someone and talk to them.
SPEAKER_20:Even having a small talk can go a long way to be able to help you.
SPEAKER_27:Okay, so to the person watching me right now, I want you to understand one thing. Your past is only a life lesson, never a life sentence. Now, what do I mean by that? Well I'm trying to tell you is that there's things that maybe happened in your past that you are not so proud of, maybe things that was outside of your control. What I would like for you to understand that those things are only there to shape you, they're not there. That identity doesn't have to be the identity that you carry for the rest of your life.
SPEAKER_27:What I would like for you to do is to challenge every belief that you have about yourself, all the negative stuff. But once you challenge it, then I would like for you to rewrite a new belief for yourself. And when you rewrite the new belief for yourself, people are going to call you delusional. But listen to me, what I would like for you to do is to read it to yourself over and over and over again. Do you know why? Um, these are one of the things that politicians love to do.
SPEAKER_27:They say that if you tell a lie over and over and over again, you'll begin to believe it to be true. So there's certain things that you they told you that they said about you that's not necessarily true, but they told you over and over again, it became imprinted into yourself identity, you accepted it to be true. And I want you to flip the script and then change the things that you've been saying to about yourself every single day, and then read it to yourself over and over again.
SPEAKER_27:And then this is the most important thing take physical action every single day that's in alignment with what you've said, and then we'll begin to see things changing. But remember, your past is only a life lesson, never a life sentence. Don't put yourself in some uh mental prison that you can't escape from.
SPEAKER_05:Which is focus on what you can control. Okay, very simple. And all you can control is inside here, is yourself, and that includes your thoughts, your emotions. The emotions are manifestation of your thoughts.
SPEAKER_35:Never finish learning. I'm still learning. Be curious, learn, and be ready for change. Some people think, oh, this is how I was trained, this is how it's being like. Is it helping you? If not, try and change. And you can change by learning. Go online, find out how other people are doing things in other countries. And read a lot. Reading is very important. Reading is very, very important.
SPEAKER_16:Most of the people that have managed came from like wild situations where they never didn't even believe that you know they'll make it. Right? Now all they had was hope. All they had was to believe that, you know, they will make it, or they believe that okay, what I'm telling them is gonna like I'm telling you, you're gonna make it. Like just believe, just be consistent. And now they are the biggest, you know, dancers all over the world, they're traveling all over the world.
SPEAKER_16:So don't give up. You can be in the most difficult situation, you can be in the most terrible situation, but don't give up because there's light at the end of the tunnel.
SPEAKER_19:First of all, I think you should have a direction or a niche. Okay, as I said before. Me, everything I do, I watch what is happening and do something that is not done before. That's the only way you catch attention. Okay, because you think Azunto is trending, you don't also come and join and do Azunto. Maybe you also trend, but how will it make it you stand out? Yeah, how will it make you um last long consistency? How would you how would you be able to stand out and say, Oh, this guy there, you know, they do what everybody they do, and even in the music industry, is there?
SPEAKER_19:Yeah, people who are doing alternative music, nobody cares about them. You understand? So if you do that, trust me, it will pay off. Over time, it will pay off. So, first, you have to have a niche.
SPEAKER_44:The first thing is the mindset is everything for a creator, right? Putting you accepting and understanding that you are a business and not just a content creator. You understand? There's creating content, and then there's a there's a point where I am creating content, there's a point where I am a business. You need to know when that when that time comes, right? So you should always be ready to become a business. Then the second thing I'll say is um ego.
SPEAKER_44:Let your ego down and learn. Let the ego down and learn. That's the only way you learn. Because, yeah, when you like you said, he who said he who knows not and knows not that he knows not. So let the ego down. You can only learn if you put the ego away.
SPEAKER_01:Don't let anyone tell you it's not possible. Whatever you put your mind to, if you put in the work, you can achieve. With hard work, of course, nothing gets given to you on a silver platter. Whatever's given to you on a silver platter, you will lose easily. So work hard and believe in yourself always and believe in God. I mean, I do.
SPEAKER_04:I heard a friend say to me the other day, even if it's not your fault, it's still your responsibility. And so I live by that. I would say this. There are two things to take from this conversation. First, no one's coming to save you. Nobody. Nobody is coming to save you. You are it. The life you want, you are it. The second thing I would say is this. Everything, everybody knows that they learned. And they are not more intelligent than you. So you can learn it too.
SPEAKER_04:So when you meet people who know more than you, it's not because they're necessarily more intelligent, sometimes it's just that they are further down the journey. And so give yourself the gift of time. Find your dark room. Richie, this is so important. You have to find your dark room. You have to find your dojo. You've got to find the quiet space where you can do the same thing without seeking feedback. And do it with the same level of enthusiasm and the same level of commitment.
SPEAKER_04:If you can do that, you will learn more, you will do more, you will achieve more.
SPEAKER_41:That's it. That your current location is nowhere near your final destination. When you know where you're going, you move differently. When you know what tomorrow has in store for you, you move very differently. So anybody who has the blessed opportunity to interact with yourself or the masterminds podcast, understand that where you are, I'll look at the camera for this, where you are as you sit at home right now watching this, understand your situation, whether it's good or bad, is only temporary.
SPEAKER_41:It's all about to change for you. And unfortunately, it can be negative or positive. But even then, as long as the dice is rolling, your six will come. So remember that where you are today, you are building the blocks for tomorrow. It is so important for you to keep acquiring knowledge, wisdom, connections, relationships that are positive and that are feeding you on every level. But understand everything you do today is going to inform your tomorrow.
SPEAKER_41:Let people talk, let people criticize, let people celebrate you, let people cut you down. Whatever they do should not matter. All that should matter is most importantly your relationship with God and understanding your current location is not your final destination.
SPEAKER_43:Be prepared at any point in time for whatever surprises may come your way. Being prepared for the surprises means that you can adapt when something comes up. So have a few options. Think through these options so that when it happens that you'd have to turn to those options, you would already have had them, and then you'd have one to settle on, one or two to settle on. Otherwise, if um this world yes is full of surprises, and so if you're not prepared for it, and it takes you by surprise, you'll be found one thing.
SPEAKER_18:If you are watching me, I want to say I'm proud of you. If you're watching me, I want to say that the little contributions that you are adding to your life is not a waste of time, it's not a waste of your life. Everything that you are doing, it's not just the time yet. Sometimes you see people driving the best car, going to the best restaurants, living in the best mansions. You feel you feel that you're supposed to do the same thing. Don't skip the process, go through the process and you are going to get to your final destination.
SPEAKER_18:And never allow your environment to limit you. Sometimes you want to say that we are from a poor background. The fact that you are from a poor background or the fact that your back is on the ground does not mean you are from a poor background. We wake up every morning thinking that, God, why did you allow this man and woman to give birth to me? Because you feel that they are poor? Until I grew up, because I was thinking the same thing. Why didn't you let some rich man give birth to me?
SPEAKER_18:Why didn't you let me come from yours? Until I grew up to discover my purpose, that was when I realized that it was good that I came from that poor background. Because it shifted my mind, it reoriented my mindset for me to become the man that I am today. So everything you are going through as a young girl, as a young boy, as a man, as a woman, it is not your just fault. It's not, it's not by mistake that you are from a poor background. Never allow your environment to limit you.
SPEAKER_18:Own your life, own your vision, own your purpose, and keep your eye on the road.
SPEAKER_45:Understanding who you are and your skill set and your strength. I mentioned to you that with my sister, I know that I'm an initiator, I'm a doer, I'm an executor. That's my skill set. And I don't want to be anything else, if that makes sense. Yeah. So I don't want to be anything else. But where I do well, why not harness that and continue to push that as opposed to trying to be something else which I may struggle with? So I'll say that, you know, understanding who you are as an individual and working on that.
SPEAKER_45:I mentioned to you, you know, what you're doing now, you probably didn't realize it, but it's been something that you've been doing up until adulthood now, and you've now turned it into, you know what, hey, let me do a podcast. And you do it, and you do it so well. It comes natural to you. The more you do it, the better you're gonna become at it, right? So once you realize where your strengths are, what your skill sets are, continue doing that and becoming a master of that, right?
SPEAKER_26:Follow the three steps, and I really think you'll be fine. I mean, like, fine, get the inspiration, you're there. Um, but do the research, get the numbers, and then create the plan and follow that plan. Don't get into it unless you've done the research and you've mapped out the numbers of how much it's gonna cost you, how long it's gonna take you to achieve it. And yeah, there's there's a god factor and the natural factor, you can get sick one day and not be able to go to work.
SPEAKER_26:There are all these things. Um, if you get sick at work and you're not able to go to work, you know, sometimes they're sickly, you're still gonna get paid at the end of the month. Yeah, but as an entrepreneur, when you get sick and you can't go to work, it's gonna affect your income that month. So just just plan properly, and that plan should include uh doing research, doing the math, planning that out, and then you know, uh putting together a strategy that fits that back.
SPEAKER_26:Then you know, okay, year one, year two, year three, and then keyword is discipline. If you're not ready to be disciplined, forget about it.
SPEAKER_00:Mindset shift comes from making sure that you give more than what you take in this world. If you can be an individual who offers more than what you take, you can open so many different doors for yourself, but then also provide value.
SPEAKER_32:No matter what you're going through right now, learn from it.
SPEAKER_04:Okay.
SPEAKER_32:If you don't learn from your mistakes, or you don't learn from your experiences, or even learn from the things you're doing right, if you go for it, you will crash. Whatever you're going through, even if it's broken heart, you've gone to stake bets and you've lost money, whatever it is, learn from it. If you stake bets with somebody's money and they catch you and put you in prison, learn from it. Next time, don't do it. You get it? You're going through hard times, learn from it.
SPEAKER_32:And once you learn and apply and change something in your life, your life will also change. If you don't change something in your life, nothing will change. You can't keep eating indomit at 8 p.m. and expect and expect six parts. You have to change something in your life. Yeah, you have to start going to gym, change. And if you change that thing, you'll start seeing change in your life.
SPEAKER_37:You need to master the concept of delayed gratification. It's exactly the thing that once you master, it will change your life, especially when it comes to your finances. Delayed gratification. You don't need all the things that you think you need. Pay yourself first, build a budget with the net amount that's left, and focus on the things that are most important to you on a month-on-month basis. And trust me, within two to five years, that amount of money that you are investing for yourself would yield so much.
SPEAKER_37:You would wish you had started this 10 years ago.
SPEAKER_28:Build your African consciousness. I love it. Without it, no other information cannot be added. Build that, find yourself because I think that is a major problem. We don't carry ourselves enough, we don't believe in ourselves enough, we are not confident in who we are enough, you're not proud of who we are enough. You know, you look out on our TV. The woman must be beautiful and she must be fair. Why? So if a woman is dark, she's not beautiful.
SPEAKER_31:The Western standard of everything.
SPEAKER_28:Yeah, if I go to invest in Ghana, I'm not intelligent until I go to some something, something. Yeah, is that true? So build your African consciousness. Once you build that, every other thing you can build.
SPEAKER_21:Every defeat is psychological. Outside of death, every defeat is psychological. So whatever thing it is that you want to do, that you are scared of, whatever thing it is that you are afraid of, just know that it's only death that brings you into outside of death, death is the only thing that's outside of the equation. But every other thing, fear is just a figment of your imagination, and that everything you're looking for is on the other side of fear.
SPEAKER_21:Everything you're looking for is also looking for you, but not this version of you. So you must literally evolve to become the captain of your destiny and evolve most importantly to be a mastermind so that you be of a blessing to your world.
SPEAKER_50:You're where you are because of the way you think. Now, what you have to do is to look beyond your shell. I understand you. I've I feel your pain. I understand that mommy doesn't have daddy, doesn't have uncle is not picking up the course. But do you have a phone? And can you buy airtime? And can you buy three CD data every day? Then that's the starting point. That's where we're going to start from. All the pictures you're posting with that spectacle or with that your church attack are going out with your friends.
SPEAKER_50:Can we convert that into selling the product? Because you've posted over 50 to 100 posts, and all you get is three, four likes. Nobody's really excited no more about your face. Let's sell something. Because to be able to get rich and to get comfortable, you need to exchange some goods and services. So when you look at money, on money, they said this is for what exchange of goods and services. Take money if you have money, 10 cds, 100 cities, look on it for exchange of goods and services.
SPEAKER_50:If you want somebody to give you that money and you don't want to go and borrow, because by the Bible principle, once you're a borrower, you are lesser and you are a slave to the lender. Yeah. So you want that, then sell a product or sell a service and take it from there. Don't assume that once I've said it and you've believed in your heart, it's going to work tomorrow. But with those baby steps, you're definitely going to get there. So don't get discouraged.
SPEAKER_50:Know that people like us have been able to do it. Why not you? That's one thing I ask myself. When I dream something is bigger than me, and I'm like, that's for this, I don't want to do it.
SPEAKER_49:I'm like, but who else should do it? Alon Musk can't buy a better iPhone than anyone in Ghana. True. Alon Musk can't get a better AI than anyone in Kenya.
SPEAKER_31:Yeah.
SPEAKER_49:Alon Musk can't get a better internet than anyone in Nigeria. Think about that for a second.
SPEAKER_31:Yeah.
SPEAKER_49:He can't. And he's the richest man in the world. See? The world's flat. It's flat. So if you want to do something in healthcare, if you want to do something in that, but what I would tell every young person is understand money, understand what these cognitions can do. But the main thing I want to tell young people is find your conviction. Find that thing that truly drives you. Okay. That purpose. It's your conviction. Find your conviction. When you find your conviction, it's it's an extraordinary thing.
SPEAKER_49:You can change mankind. You can change humankind. You can have a global impact.
SPEAKER_42:It's probably going to be about possibility.
SPEAKER_31:Okay.
SPEAKER_42:And when I say possibility, I just mean that there's something I realize almost like when you believe something so strongly, it's almost as if the universe shifts around to allow you to have it. Yeah. Um, this morning I was watching something where they spoke about whatever you want, whatever you want God to do for you. He said, write it on a paper. And and then they talked about Psalm 150 and a second one I don't remember. But the idea of write it on a paper and every morning read it and then read the sound.
SPEAKER_40:You believe that you are creative, or you believe that you are talent. But in having that creativity and that talent, you need other people to be able to show that talent or manifest or put out that talent. It's always important that you need to acknowledge the fact that you cannot do things on your own in this industry. You cannot do it. And you need people around you. You need to be disciplined. You need to be creative, which is most important.
SPEAKER_40:And you need to be human. It's important for you in this industry for you to survive. And you need to be you need to set goals for yourself. I've set goals for myself. Maybe 100% of it I did not make it. But I at least I know about 80 to 90 percent, you know, I mean, but if you do not set the goals, you will not know where you are going. And in setting the goals, you will be going with people. And as you are going with the people, just remember that these people can make or break you.
SPEAKER_40:So it's important discipline yourself, be creative, feed yourself with creativity because some people are creative but they don't feed themselves. Feed themselves, read books, go on YouTube, go on social, use your social media um wisely.
SPEAKER_11:What what I would say is um I'll say I say build a tribe. Okay. Um uh shout out to Chocolate, uh he's one of um uh one of the most respected creatives that I have around. And uh he used to always give me that that that advice that create a tribe. Um there's a lot of quote-unquote mediocrity, right? There's a lot of mediocrity in the particular system in which we work with creative economy. Um the whole noise about it started like 2021, 2022. But if you are someone who, as you mentioned, you strive for excellence, take it upon yourself that you are leading a very huge group of people on the continent.
SPEAKER_11:You understand? If you want to be known for creativity on the particular continent, find a tribe, a group of like-minded people who also strive for excellence.
SPEAKER_38:Thoughts are powerful, you need to guard your thoughts. Thoughts become things, so what you think you will become. So be very intentional about the thoughts you actually give, the thoughts you actually give power to. You know, whatever you are, you thought it into being. This is not like this is no magic, it's back with neuroscience. Whatever you are, you thought it into being, so you can rethink in case the state you are in is not so great, you can rethink to get into a better space.
SPEAKER_38:So protect and guard your thoughts because your thoughts are powerful and they actually become things. I'm wishing you well and I want to see you at the top.
SPEAKER_25:Well, they should go back to their roots. That's the first step. Okay, Richie, if you want to jump high, you have to squat.
SPEAKER_31:I like that.
SPEAKER_25:So for every African youth, you have to go back to your roots. When you have a solid root, then you can have a better plant. Without a solid root, the plant will be shaken, it will fall. Yes. So if you want to be solid, you have to go back to your roots. And when I say go back to your roots, you know where you're from, wherever you're from. Go home, go to your ebusin' penny, let him take you to the family stool or the family bosom. Go and communicate with it.
SPEAKER_31:The one advice I have for you, Watchin, is something I've written a book about. Yes, it's your fault. I really believe in self-accountability. Everything that has happened to me in my life is my fault. The good, the bad, and the ugly. Even what I didn't make happen, I chose how I reacted to it. So please keep this in mind. Your life is yours. Your superpower is the fact that you are in charge of your life. So if you are the problem, you are also the solution.
SPEAKER_31:So if you're watching me from today, analyze your life, every single thing in your life, and ask yourself how you can get a better result than what you have now, then take action until you get that result.
