Hurricanes, radios, and Prep Tech

00Speaker 1:You know what a zombie is when a person dies and is buried it seems a certain voodoo priest who will have the power to bring him back to life it's worse than horrible because a zombie has no will of his own you see them sometimes walking around blindly with dead eyes following orders not knowing what they do not caring you mean like democrats Arizona Lawmaker asks, is it worth it after tremendous amounts of threats and death threats? PBM family, welcome in. It is the season of mists and mellow fruitfulness. I'm driving through a bit of a mist and the leaves are changing and it's just, it's here.

53Speaker 1:It's here. And I hope that you get out to enjoy it. Oh, the new neighbors put up some headstones in the front yard. I listened to a great talk about All Saints Day and the origins of the memento mori and skeletons. And a very contrarian view on Halloween from the Catholic perspective. It was nice. I don't know if I trust it. I don't know if I believe it all. I didn't, you know. But it was a lot better than Halloween, paganism, hell, bad, don't dress your kids up and whatever. I don't know. Whatever that is.

32Speaker 1:But the Houthis are blowing up Saudi Arabia. That's a thing. Isaiah has done some damage. I think there's 800,000 people without power. How do you say it the right way? The good news is tens of thousands or thousands or even hundreds of people are dying from this hurricane. So that's great. That's a good thing. We will be doing our radio check tonight, 9 p.m. Eastern Standard Time. Do not miss it. Radio check, 9 p.m. Eastern Standard Time. Do not miss it, folks, okay? Do not miss it.

15Speaker 1:If you do not yet have a radio, I just want everybody to know that you can get a POC-capable $ 200 GeoPlus radio and be a part of the radio checks if you so desire it, okay? Go to Go to SkycomPTT.com and use the affiliate code PBN. That radio comes programmed with everything that you need for the radio check and various other nets, various other radio networks, POC networks in particular around. Not only did we get our PNRN, which is what we do, our Preppers National Radio Network programmed into the radio, but we also have a Virginia one.

59Speaker 1:We have a VA, a PNRN VA for the state. Coms world is changing, folks. Coms world is changing rapidly. Things are getting easier. Things are getting clearer. I can't wait, man. I can't wait to see what's next in the prepping and emergency preparedness world, really. Really, it is the emergency preparedness world that is on sort of an exponential technological explosion right now And, you know, I'm backed up right now, guys. That's all there is to it. I don't know how else to say it. I'm backed up. The dirt cheap and free preps, which I'm not even doing every single day, got me a little backed up. I had a few writing projects I had to get done that are now done.

47Speaker 1:But I also had these big lofty dreams of bringing you two new shows, one of which is called Contingency Tech. And they'll come. Don't get me wrong. I mean, they're not going to dissipate. they will come but contingency tech is the exploration of all this new emergency preparedness tech you know and i'm contingency tech's not a review show all right that's what i want you to know about it i'm gonna i want you to experience what i experience that's all i want to take it i want to sit it on your plate in front of you and if you decide to eat then you eat right it's not a sponsorship show it's not a sponsorship heavy show we will have some people on who are sponsors in their tech but that's not what the show is about The show has come from the idea of like, you know, I don't know, the last two years of my life playing around in the prepping world, particularly the digital prepping world and seeing all this new stuff. All these new things just pop up and go, oh, this is kind of cool. I see it where this could work and I see what, you know, and it's like everything else, right? The cream rises to the top. There's

51Speaker 1:the good, the bad, the ugly. There's a lot of unknown. I don't know. It's just a fun world. It really is. The world of emergency prep tech right now, preparedness tech, prepping tech, is pretty cool. It's pretty cool. Hardware, software, apps, the whole thing. So why not explore? This is the Prepper Broadcasting Network, is it not? What else, folks? We're running into the holiday season, so the Black Friday catalog will be out very soon. I've already got people who are interested in being a part of that catalog. If you have a Prepper product or service and you want to be a part of the catalog, reach out to me. PrepperBroadcasting.com, another big announcement, has the PBN Brain on the website now.

39Speaker 1:So if you go to PrepperBroadcasting.com, you're going to see Ask the PBN Archive, I think I titled it as, in the nav bar. PrepperBroadcasting.com. Ask. Ask. pbn archiver as to i don't remember exactly how i phrased it and what you're going to find in there is uh is a really cool basically uh searchable down to the words said by the hosts uh archive search you know so not a search that brings up an episode not a search where you have to search the episode name in order to get the uh you know the title of the episode to show up but more of a More of a search where you say, I'm planting perennials this next gardening. That's a bad example. Oh, maybe I want to make herbal medicine, right, for the winter. I want to make, what is it called, fire cider or something along those lines. And I want to make tinctures over the winter. I don't know. Anything along those lines. Really, it's any question related to preparedness, right? You ask it any question related to preparedness. And what it's going to do is comb the archives of PBN and pull out several shows. It's going to pull out several shows. It's

58Speaker 1:going to pull out excerpts. It's going to pull out time-stamped segments that you can play. And, yeah, you'll get a real sort of spread of all that PBN has done on that topic over the last 10 years. and it's amazing, man, it really is cool, it's a tool that, uh, we'll just keep improving on, you know, it should be, it should just keep growing and growing and getting better and better, and, uh, yeah, I don't know, there's a lot, you know what I mean, there's a lot, there's a lot, it sounds techie today, I didn't expect to be driving over here in the rain, and it's, and to be such a techie show, I wanted to give you a little news update of the highs and the lows, um, I definitely wanted to remind you of the radio check tonight, for those of you who got your radios. Because we're back.

49Speaker 1:I missed last Sunday, but we're back. We're going to do it. We're going to do it. Get that radio in your hand and get you comfortable with your emergency comms method. That's what it's all about. We're going into the cold season, folks. The cold season is coming. The cold season, the canning season, maybe a little bit of the harvest season left for you, depending on where you're at. And, you know, this is one of those epic times. You know, it really is one of those epic times to be self-reliant to some degree, to, you know, make a fire in the wood stove, make the first fires of the year in the fireplace. We've been doing a lot of candle making lately, but not in the traditional sense, but it's a thing, right? It's a thing. One of the things that I'll tell you a dirt cheap prep that I will highlight on the Dirt Cheap and Free Preps show is candle wicks. Candle wicks are insanely affordable. You know what I mean? You get thousands of them and you can make candles in anything. You know what I mean?

02Speaker 1:Our situation is a little unique and I'll discuss it in detail but it's just one of those things. So Enjoy the rest of your day, folks. I do appreciate you. Thanks for everything. Tune in. We're streaming all over now. Eight different streaming locations when we're live. Yeah, man. Just trying to build this thing into the very bedrock of what it is to be American. Talk to you soon.
