Ep57 - July results and draft catchup
With Arron away chasing another chance to play Royal Birkdale at the Southport Links Championship, Gav, Jon & MTC recount the ups and down of the month of July as the season begins the descent until finals day. The boys are also joined by Huw and Sam, draft captains extraordinaire, as they discuss Huw's winning start, Sam's aversion to being labelled as Fulham and what punishment another draft captain should have for being last. And for pudding we also review the upcoming Roost event at B...

Ep56 - 6OP hates babies (aka The 100 Hole Hike)
This bonus pod is dedicated to previewing and reflecting on the 6OP boys’ 100 Hole Hike on July 27th. We look at the highs and lows, pledges and wonderful support for Tiny Lives. Find out what went on on the links. Did Jon’s socks erode? Did Gav’s chafe risk wildfires? Both yes. But listen anyway to hear other things. All support through donation is greatly appreciated, as we look to raise as much money as we can to support Tiny Lives, who helped bring TC’s wonderful twins into the worl...

Ep55 - UnJune delay
It’s a mid month pod as we look at what May or May not have happened in the fifth calendar month. TC and Arron recount their club championship woes, Jon/Gav controversially fail to win a roost Major and the OOMBots don’t finish last in a month. What a world! Thank you all for the support so far of our Hundred Hole Hike quest, being held on July 27th at Goswick links. Ep54 - April's fool
With Month one in the books, the boys are back to break down the month that was. A newbie dominates the April, while an administrative coup brings an Armi back down to earth. Meanwhile in the draft, the player thefts have begun early and the draft loser serenades us with a memorable poem. The lads also announce their Hundred Hole Hike to be held on July 27th at Goswick links. All support through donation and in person will be greatly appreciated, as we look to raise as much money as we can...

Ep52 - Season 6 preview
The boys are back, well three of them, and for a sixth season no less. Gav, Jon and Arron discuss the upcoming OoM season, the rule changes or lack thereof and plans for the season ahead. We discuss the preparations for the draft, a play, a long run and a heart attack, as well as a brief recap of the best of 2025 and whether or not 142 out of 786 can be improved upon for the upcoming year. As we turn the corner from a long, wet, miserable winter we look forward to the better times ahead and w...

Ep51 - End of the regular season / Finals day preview
The boys are back with the end of season review, as September closes and the regular season awards are handed out. With finals day just around the corner, we find out who will or won’t be making the 24 players competing for the title of Order of Merit champion for 2025. There is also a small matter of how this season’s draft ended up. Did Pete manage to add another star to The Panache ball marker? Did Dan threw a wedge avoid the bottom slot? Did Dan who throws wedges finally beat ...

Ep50 - Fifty, not out
It’s the 50th episode of 6OP, and the boys are back for a bumper August episode. We cover two full months of content, as it appears we have lost the month of July 2025 from the podcasting annals (Jon claims it’s not because of the winner of the month). The 6OP team are joined by the 4 other draft captains - or at least, joined by Sam, Huw and Hocking, and whatever was inhabiting Couhig’s body at the time. As we enter into the last full month of the OOM season, plenty to play for in the ...

Ep49 - Clerical Administrative Disaster
As the 6OP team roll out of their malaise brought on by a deep dive into your scoring, we reflect on a joyous June. MTC leads Haway with this weeks ad read, Gavino Rosso welcomes us in Italian and we have the blindest of rankings to wrap up. Before that though, learn about the event that Jon organised and won, the event that Sam organised and won, and recount every single shot, emotion and interaction from Gavs most recent win. TC makes his own Pizza, Arron shoots a million and Couhig ascends...

Ep48 - Every single carpet in Asia
I don’t know where to begin with the blurb for this episode. It went off the rails quickly. Join us for carpet appreciation, allegations of dry humping, jungle animal discussion, a very angry American and an ad read that sounds like it was forced at gunpoint. Apologies in advance. In between the nonsense, we name and shame some rule-breakers and there’s the usual rundown of OoM results, draft transfers and recent/upcoming events within the RACDG world. Ep46 - 2025 Season preview & team draft
Ahead of the start of the fifth Order of Merit tomorrow, 6OP are joined by the other four team captains to discuss some slight tweaks to the rules and to undertake the completely meaningless squad draft for the upcoming season. Battle lines are drawn and team names will be revealed as we begin the quest to answer the important questions. Will Pete’s Panache prevail again? Has Dan mentally recovered from gagging away the titles? Is Sam going to avoid the wooden spoon forfeit? Huw? Send u...

Emerging from hibernation, 6OP returns for season five in this slightly delayed New Year / early Pancake Day special. Ep44 - Christmas Special 2024
In classic 6OP style, of promising so much and delivering very little regarding previous Christmas special episodes, the boys finally deliver. Join Arron, Gav, Jon & MTC as they re-hash the previous year’s Order of Merit and draft competition in the form of a Jeopardy style quiz show, that by no way is a complete rip-off of the recent NLU episode, that did the exact same thing. Ep42 - Draft final transfers
We’re into the final month of the Order of Merit and in a disconcerting bout of efficiency, we are back already. This time, we are joined from all over the place by each of the draft captains to chat through August’s controversial results and the OoM season as a whole. In typically Canadian fashion, long-time leader Dan has faltered over the past couple of months with the finishing line in sight. June has come and gone, so OoM 2024 is 50% done. We’re also two months into the Order of Merit, so there’s the usual run down last month’s leaderboard, a look at the overall standings in the race to Tennessee and many, many zeroes to discuss. It’s a guaranteed Wills and Kate speculation-free zone as Six, Over Par returns.
