The National Security Hour with Major Fred Galvin – Galvin draws the straight line that connects a Japanese midget submarine sunk in Pearl Harbor at 6:37 am in the morning of December 7, 1941 — one hour and 23 minutes before the aerial attack that killed 2,403 Americans — to a Presidential Daily Brief titled "Bin Laden Determined to Strike in US" that did not produce decisive action, to...

The National Security Hour closes the world and nefarious plots to undermine and destroy U.S. national security. This is your host, Fred Galvin, filling in for Lieutenant Colonel Sergeant Senghari on Friday, 9 October, 2026. For those of you who we have not been introduced yet, we're a retired special operations commander and combat veteran of the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. And I spent my career studying what happens when people, I should say, leaders who are responsible for national security decide that what they hope is true is not backed up with the evidence that's telling them and the alarms that are sounding of what actually is occurring. Some people choose to ignore that. And today that is why we are going to look as history often shows us, that history appears in cycles, and we, I believe, are coming due for a repeat of one of these cycles. And we're going to talk about this price.

If we go back 85 years ago to Pearl Harbor, we saw the price of complacency there. Those telltale signs were also evident on September 11th, 2001. And again, they were also there on the 7th of October, 2023. And my friends, this alarm is sounding in front of us as we speak on the global stage. As we speak right now. And just as in the past, and we're going to go over these events that I've just listed, because each one of them had precursors that if people had acted, if leaders were not complacent, lives would have been saved. Thousands of lives.

That is why we must have the most competent commanders, the most competent leaders in the intelligence community in our military. And as I've mentioned on my Thursday national security hour on several occasions, that several of these types of black swan events, they didn't just act one event that was an anomaly, that was a complete aberration all by itself. No, there's off a series of precursor events that led to that. That if any one of these leaders in the military and the intelligence community had acted, the enemy's plans would have been disrupted or foiled entirely. And I believe, I firmly believe we're at that moment right now where as we dive in and I describe this history that has all occurred here in the last 85 years, they all occurred in the morning. And we all said, as we've just said three years ago, lest we forget.

We can't just have that be a saying. That has to be a banner, it has to be a call to action, that we must take action. We can't forget. As we described, and we will get into detail of these three warnings, these three separate attacks. These were sophisticated defense establishments, and all three and each of those leaders allowed themselves to be caught by surprise, not because there were no warnings, but because the people who were responsible failed to act, they did not shield those that they were obligated to protect.

In each case, the enemy was doing their homework. They were pacing off the camp. They conducted their surveillance. Call that the military, their operational preparation of the environment. Every single one of these cases they'd gotten inside the wire. And they knew in specific detail what we were going, what we were doing, and how they were going to inflict maximum death on their adversaries. Each of them pre-positioned and waited for the specific time for that gap to be present before they exploited.

And then they moved. So let's get into this examination. And I'm not trying to relitigate this in Monday morning quarterback, uh, something, a series of terrible events that have happened to America and our allies. But we deserve a thorough examination about what specifically happened because the lesson is not complicated. And we've been paying this price and these examples again and again and again, and every single time it's in the blood of thousands.

Thousands in many of these cases with 9-11 and October 7th of innocent lives that were murdered due to leaders being complacent. That is the price that it costs. And it is not just our military, but it is innocent civilians that'll pay that price and death. And we're gonna get into this because it is this week that we remember that three years ago on the 7th of October 2023, that our allies in Israel were horribly attacked, was such vicious it is unimaginable.

And we'll get into that, but we'll start chronologically with a tale that most fully understand as we've studied this, but often the facts in our history books don't give it the true justice that it deserves. And I'm speaking about the attack by the Empire of Japan's air and naval forces on the American forces in the Hawaiian Islands on the 7th of December, 1941. And it was that complacency that we're going to examine that cost 2,403 American lives and many more wounded. And that is the largest loss of lives of American service members on American soil in any two-hour period, or of all two-hour periods, in over 250 years of American history.

In the modern motto that came after December 7th, 1941, is what everybody said, remember Pearl Harbor. But do we? Is to have a full understanding of what the enemy is doing or was doing at that time. This is a cat and mouse game, and what the enemy was doing and how we reacted. And I want you to think let this marinade throughout this next hour every single example that I'm going to give Pearl Harbor, 9-11, 7 October, and today please understand that the enemy is not aloof, they're not sitting on their hands, they're not taking a knee, they're not on the sidelines, they're not on the bench. They are preparing.

Some people think that we shouldn't have done that, that that'll inspire many others to take action. And that sounds like you know, that sounds, you know, pretty serious. That uh we don't want to anger our enemy. But I would submit, as someone who's fought this enemy for over two decades, that our enemy has no misunderstanding of who their enemy is. I believe that we do, that we are unaware, unawake, we are un. We are we do not have the resolve that we had on September 12th, 2001.

And because of that, we are an easier target. We must unite. We must be aware of what our enemy is doing. And that's what I want to get into in each of these historical examples. I want to talk about that intelligence gap that the enemy was doing on the ground at the beginning of 1941 and prior that we as America fully knew about, but 11 months prior to the attacks on Pearl Harbor, we were very well aware that the Japanese were conducting surveillance all across the island of Oahu. Read the book Ghosts of Honolulu.

Now you've probably seen the TV series NCIS, Naval Criminal Investigative Service. It used to be called Naval Investigative Service. And those individuals were they were surveilling many Japanese who were on the base, were doing depth soundings in Pearl Harbor, who knew the position of our carriers that they were not in and when they were in. They knew all these details. They even knew our pattern of life, that we worked six-day work weeks. Sunday was a holiday routine. They knew what time the sun came up over the Kulo mountain range and shined, obviously, from east to west, but at what exact time that it crested the mountains on the 7th of December and would be directly in the eyes of our sailors on those battleships and Pearl Harbor. They had that amount of human intelligence, and they were able to develop a very comprehensive plan to put that devastation and concentrate it at a strong point across eight bases, all on Oahu, and attack us with 353 aircraft in two waves in two hours. And they succeeded.

It wasn't a total surprise that I show people they come to Hawaii, this historical placard that a lady, a civilian named Ann Ann Winslow, she said in March 1911, she said, I went down to the Self Ridge Battery. That's the name of a anti uh they had these big rail guns that surrounded the island. They were designed to be able to fire 14 miles away, hit ships if they were approaching. She said, I went to the battery Selfridge and watched them fire, at which the Japanese can attack at any time. They no longer have terror over my heart. And as I mentioned, she said that in March 1911, over 30 years prior. So we knew who our enemy was. We knew that they were planning an attack on Oahu, and it terrified our civilians, and it terrified our military, and we had gun emplacements completely surrounding the island of Oahu.

And yet we had an enemy that was in our midst. They blended in. And again, as I say this, let this marinade. Because that same enemy, there are some differences from the enemy of 85 years ago and the enemy of today. But our enemy, similarities, is they are amongst us, and they want to kill us, and they are doing detailed planning. And many of our leaders have fear, just like Anderson Winslow did, and many of them are not taking it seriously. As the senior leader of American forces in Pearl Harbor, the four-star Admiral Husband Kimmel, we're going to get into him in here in just a second, but he didn't take it seriously.

And diplomats were sent from Japan right after the carrier task force of six Japanese carriers was ordered to sail east. Do not communicate at all between ships because of fear of compromise of communications. So they had used lights and flags to communicate in between ships, but no radio communication. And then the Japanese diplomats went to Washington, D.C. to talk a big game that they wanted more of American steel, oil, and rubber. They wanted to be able to continue to build their industrial complex all at the same time that they had already given the order to attack Pearl Harbor and devastate the American Pacific Fleet.

Because the goal for the Japanese was to inflict maximum damage on the Pacific Fleet so that they could just completely sweep across the Pacific and take as many of these countries and to take their resources to be able to continue to build their military industry. And that's exactly what they did. The same day they attacked us, they swept on the inner on the west side of the international date line. They took everything all the way to Thailand. And in January 1941, they took Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand.

But let's get into what was presenting itself. That morning at approximately 3 42 a.m. The USS Condor observed a Japanese midget submarine. They actually almost collided with it. They signaled, the USS Condor signaled over to the USS Ward, a destroyer inside. This was inside Pearl Harbor. And the USS Ward immediately came over, dropped depth charges, fired upon, and sank that midget submarines. Our American sailors were the first to fight on December 7th. They were the first to conduct offensive operations.

And they were the first to relay that information up to their higher headquarters command. But that information was not acted upon in a timely and responsible manner. Although they had the information, they did not act. Don't go away. We'll be right back after this commercial break. Successful weight loss is about changing the gut-brain relationship with food. Let me pick it back up right now and left them off. I just described how a hostile enemy submarine had been engaged, and that enemy submarine it wasn't wandering aimlessly across the Pacific. It was inside the throat of Pearl Harbor, which was an American strong point naval base in the Pacific. That contact after they sunk the Japanese submarine, it was reported. Don't sound general quarters, don't launch any defensive patrols, wait for confirmation.

Unfortunately, I've heard that before in Afghanistan. And that was the mentality. That is an evil that weak leaders who don't have a bias for action, who don't want to aggressively kill and destroy the enemy, they always have that same thing in mind. Just like in the Civil War, how multiple times, multiple times, President Lincoln wanted McClellan to pursue Lee in the peninsular campaign. He wanted to pursue Lee at the Battle of Antietam. And McClellan just, as Lincoln had asked him one time, sarcastically, can I borrow your army if you're not using it? This is a trend of weak leaders. They don't exploit the enemy. And at this time, when the enemy's inside the wire, you must eradicate them. You cannot give them quarter.

But because leaders failed to act in sound manner, 2,403 Americans died that day. Eight battleships were damaged, 188 aircraft were destroyed. Our Pacific fleet was briefly neutralized, as the Japanese had attended, had intended. Now, other warning signs, like I mentioned, in black swan events, these are events that you know they could occur, but you think are highly unlikely. And America thought that the Japanese would attack, but they thought it would probably be somewhere in Southeast Asia, likely the Philippines. We were hoping, and hope's not a course of action, we were hoping that it wouldn't occur in the Hawaiian Islands, which was our strong point.

If you've been in Hawaii, it's so beautiful, you just don't ever want to imagine that something could happen in paradise. Well, right after that submarine was sunk in Pearl Harbor at 6:37 a.m., after it was first seen at 342. Then at 7.02 in the morning, we had two U.S. Army privates, Lockard and Elliott, were up at a Opana point on the North Shore, and they detected this massive formation of aircraft approaching from the north. They radioed that contact report to their lieutenant who said we're expecting some American B-17s in from the West Coast.

Don't sound the alarm, don't signal anything to intercept, no dispatch was given. And then a large formation did what it did. But prior to that, recon Japanese reconnaissance planes were observed over Fort Shafter. And their purpose was to observe the epicenter and to make sure that inside Pearl Harbor they had achieved success as far as complete surprise. The American battleships were still there. And once they observed that and they observed that the weather conditions were optimal, they gave the report Tor, which means tiger, tiger, tiger to strike. They break broke radio silence that point, and that first wave came in and did its devastation, dropping those first bombs on eight American bases in two hours that commenced at 7 55 a.m.

There had also been indications that because the purple Japanese purple diplomatic code had been broken. So our intelligence officials in Washington, D.C. had this information that they said uh winds execute. They had known that Japanese was about the Japanese were planning to initiate hostilities, but that information wasn't ever given to Lieutenant Commander Leighton, the intelligence officer for Admiral Husmakel in Pearl Harbor. Often these intelligence agencies at different locations, like the Pentagon and another four-star command out here in the Hawaiian Islands, they don't like to share information because information's power. And this information, 10 days before the attack on the 27th of November, it was available.

And even though, like myself as a former operations officer, they'd always say they'd drill into our heads, what do I know? Who needs to know? Have I told them? That is an axiom signed in blood. You cannot violate it. What do I know? Who needs to know? Have I told them? So the warning signs, there was no absence of them. It was a failure of leadership. The enemy didn't catch America napping. No, they they wanted us to continue on with our complacency. They knew that we had observation posts on all the high ground around this entire island, that we were manning those posts. We had soldiers all around in every single one of these posts.

But we failed to act. Similarly, let's fast forward to 2001. Now, as we shift from Pearl Harbor to mainland America, we had this 9-11 commission that has a lot of documents that they came up with after the attack. But they determined that the similar things were the stage was set. System was blinking hot red again. So it wasn't without an absence of indicators. The problem was that people couldn't act. People were thinking that let's not overreact or become alarmist.

And that 9-11 commission found that before a month before, just like in Pearl Harbor, that higher level had this information. But on the 6th of August 2001, in the presidential daily brief, it was it was told to the president of the United States, George Bush, the 43rd president, George Bush Jr., that bin Laden was determined to strike the United States, unquote. We knew Al Qaeda was planning an attack that was likely to happen on American soil. And those FBI agents, they didn't just have suspicion. They had been tracking this along with the FBI, and they didn't even question two of the hijackers. They were known to the CIA.

And they'd been following them around the world, and as well as questioning them here in the United States. That Phoenix memo that uh reported that there was an unusual number of Middle Eastern men attending aviation schools in America. And that uh that was in July, the Phoenix memo, July of 2001. August 2001, they had a FISA warrant to search the laptop of Misaui, who FBI agents in Minneapolis they were cued in on him because he paid for this flight simulator, and he was he was one of the attackers, and it went on and on and on and on that these individuals were planning all this. Even one said he was he didn't care about learning to land the plane at all, he just wanted to learn to fly it. So this was setting off alarms in the intelligence community, but those leaders at the highest level, just like we had in the Pentagon before December 7th, 1941, well they didn't want they wanted to be the wise people who understand all these nuances.

In their analysis, is it's probably nothing. Well, we saw what happened in the attacks, the intended attack also to likely occur at another location. Who knows if that was the Capitol or White House or another attack on the Pentagon, but at another location, probably in the National Capitol region. But our leaders failed to exploit those intelligence reports. Now we move on to three years ago on the 7th of October, 2023. Same playbook, different location, not in the United States, but with one of our allies this time in the Middle East. But right on the Jewish Sabbath at the Simkat Torah holiday, Hamas launched a very coordinated, and just like on December 7th as well as September 11th, a multi-prong, multi-axis attack, this time from Gaza into southern Israel, breaching the security fence at 30 locations.

It's interesting how they the enemy always wants to go from zero to a hundred miles an hour and exploit with such redundancy in a multiple axis that they will achieve success and they will intimidate and shock the world. And they saw how the United States reacted in 9-11, how we united in the enemy after the 7th of October, they became even more sophisticated with not only the physical attacks, but also in the cognitive domain, where they immediately started launching these reports of genocide by the Israelis.

Well, we'll talk about that in just a minute. But the attacks were not a surprise. Israeli intelligence was aware of the tunnel networks, the weapon stockpiles, Hamas's training. Just like in Pearl Harbor, we'd prepared all those gun positions all around. We had all those observation posts. Even the civilians who'd said that the Japanese will not have terror. They were living in terror here in Hawaii. The FBI agents, CIA agents before September 10th, they knew. They knew very good and well. So did the Israelis. And that's what the post-attack investigations on Israel established that Hamas had spent years preparing for the 7 October attacks.

And that their operatives had detailed maps of all the kibbutz, the military bases, the Nova Festival. They knew exactly when and where, and they'd coordinated this very sophisticated attack. But just like after World War I, the French built this big wall there in the Majinot line, thinking that that'll stop the Germans' tanks. Of course, with innovation, the Germans just did a vertical envelopment, same thing here in Pearl Harbor. The thought was we'll put a regiment of Marines at Pearl Harbor. We'll have gun emplacements all around the island. We can prevent an amphibious assault on our naval strong point in the Hawaiian Islands.

And what did the Japanese do? Instead of using paratroopers, they used aviation ordnance and they just wreaked havoc because we were overconfident in our plans. Israel had that same security mindset that they have this golden dome or this iron dome and their sensors and cameras and this automatic alerts, rapid response, it's going to be able to take care of any type of sophisticated attack. And so they reduced some of their human vigilance because this technology they were relying upon that to give them indications and warnings.

So even Israeli Mossad or Unit 8200, the Shinbat, they were they were aware of what was coming. And they lost the edge, a nation that was complacent. And why am I saying, why am I emphasizing this? I believe these three events which I'm talking about, Pearl Harbor, 9-11, October 7th, I believe those are the three swan, the black swan events that are being telegraphed for a larger event. That right now, I believe those there are signs, there are indications that are currently in place when we see these, we look at what's going on in France, we look at what has already occurred with the disruption and devastation in in Britain, with this illegal immigration, with the infiltration of our own borders in the United States, the light is blinking red again.

And the information warfare after September or the 7th of October, trying to make it seem like Israel's the enemy, when they were brutally attacked, they were murdered, raped, kidnapped, tortured. And immediately the information warfare brought out that the Israel Israelis were committing genocide. Even prior to their response on the 7th of October, but they were saying that they were attacking civilian targets, it's their own war crimes. Well, let me tell you what Hamas was doing, they filmed, they had body cameras of what they did.

The rapes, the torture, the murders, the brutal murders. It was very intentional why they had body cameras and why they posted that on telegram channels. That's not incidental. That was part of the operation. Let me tell you, everybody, very clearly. That wasn't a post-mission plan that they baked in on the back side of it. That was hardwired from the beginning. It was to torment millions and to recruit even more. And people right now are saying, oh, they shouldn't have live streamed Hassan, Nadal Hassan's death. Well, our enemy, again, like I said before, they know who they're fighting. It seems like the West is still in a drunken stupor and can't figure out who our enemy is. And we are the ones that need to wake up. Instead of being concerned that, oh my goodness, now we're going to allow recruitment, and this publicity is not a good thing. Let's go back under the porch and shake in our boots.

Welcome back to the final segment of America. This is Fred Galvin filling in for Sargis. I want to explain right after September or October 7th, sorry, the Jewish community around the world became threatened while many leaders couldn't even act. As you saw in congressional testimony, and we've talked about this before on the National Security Hour, that the presidents of Harvard, MIT, Columbia, University of Pennsylvania, there in this was in uh December of 2023, they're all brought in, and all of them declined to say that calling for genocide of Jews would have violated their campus conduct code.

And they tried to give these millimouth answers and talked about their civil rights principles. America, why am I bringing this up? That if we don't stand up, if we can't stand up for students, not people wearing a uniform, people that are on a front line that maybe did something questionable. I'm talking about since the 7th of October and measured between then and uh December 31st of 2023. In that very short less than three month period, there's 5,204 anti-Semitic incidences and that exceeded all of the prior year in 2022.

It's it's unbelievable. And the same thing you see in the United Kingdom, 4,103 incidences in 2023. So this is on the rise against non-combatants, people being prejudged around the world because this information warfare is trying to paint this picture. And people in this time, I'm not talking about military leaders or intelligence community, I'm talking about educators, the administrators in the educational community that will not even stand up. And that's what we need is somebody to show the courage, like Bonhoeffer, and sound the alarm and say stop, because no American should live in fear while they're going to school inside our own country.

But somebody is messaging people, and I uh in my travels, I see it all the time, these people that continue to be duped by information operations in the cognitive domain where they're being swayed that to feel this certain way about this subject, this person, and that is not accidental. People are being bombarded by this, and we've seen this with these students and these people, not just in America, not just in Europe, but globally. That phrase from the river to the sea.

The Muslim Brotherhood knows what this saying means. These people who create this, who propagate it, they know exactly what that slogan means. And I want to mention this to you because some of you have family that may have friends, may have friends with their children who post this on a website or social media or chant this slogan from the river to the sea. I ask you to demonstrate courage and engage those loved ones of yours, especially women or non-Muslims, and have them understand you need to lay the information clearly out what Sharia law, what the Muslim Brotherhood's agenda is, you can look it up.

They're not hiding it. What that means to so many of these people that say this are women, are gays, are non-Muslims. Paint the picture of what the Muslim Brotherhood is seeking. Now, the Muslim Brotherhood, they're not a group of good old boys that like to have barbecue, and you know, they're well financed, they're well organized. They have 500 million in assets, and it's not a charitable organization, they're not out there building orphanages, trying to help society.

This is uh an organization that their objective in the Holy Land trial, if they admit, end quote, the grand jihad in eliminating and destroying Western civilization from within. So they're not talking about coordinating jets and battleships and anything of that sort. This isn't a conspiracy theory. This is actually in a court exhibit. Yes, look up the 1991 Muslim Brotherhood Strategic Document for North America, it's and look at what the Muslim Brotherhood and their linked political influence has been doing for the past 11 years in Britain. Look what they're doing in France right now, look at the ideological influence that they're having on these institutions.

You know, it would be a pleasure if if those of us that elect people to office and those people ask for open borders, or you know, they turn the blind eye to this type of terrorism and this type of corruption and violence, sexual violence that these people bring. If if these leaders that vote on this stuff that allows this to flourish, would be forced to lead by example and invite these violent terrorists into their homes. This is in the Marine Corps, we have this phrase, leaders eat last, meaning we practice what we preach, we we do what's best for our people. And we have this Latin phrase, ductus exemplo, lead by example, that we will we will do first what we're asking our subordinate Marines, those that we're in charge of.

We will lead by example from the front, just like they did in the Civil War, where leaders were on horse or on foot, and they would take their hat off and unsheath their sword and shove their saber through the hat and lead from the front of the formation. Not like our current military leaders that are leading in command posts back in Tampa when the war is over in Afghanistan. Uh, that's not leading, that's uh keyboard commandos. But America, this is this is something that it is time right now to not be complacent. We cannot have American citizens that are not active in our government. It's not time to think that, well, it's not a general election. We have to vote out people who have supported policies that have destabilized America, that have led to America being less safe, less prosperous, because we have been robbed, our city, as well as cities and our allies, countries, and England and France. Look at what's going on there right now. Would you say it's safer now, if you're a woman, to walk around a park after dark than it was 50 years ago?

No. Not for a second. That doesn't exist. That's a fairy tale right now. But that's what we had when we were children, and that is in fact robbery, it it's it's theft of what existed in our world, the world that our parents and some of us grew up in, where we had better security, we had a national identity that we weren't ashamed of. We weren't having people put labels on saying Islamophobe. When you say something's a phobia, like an illogical fear, it's it's it's exploiting the minds and saying that what you're doing is is uh placing victimhood on these people because they are just innocent. And and I'm not saying that innocent people who haven't done anything, but I'm saying people that believe in an ideology that refers to a category of people as infidel. And once you dehumanize people, that's in your mindset, that's in your ideology, that does not just like our founding fathers, Benjamin Franklin, who'd said very clearly we'll have a republic if we can keep it. Well, can we keep it? It's like John Adams had said, another founding father that recall this I'll have to paraphrase that uh

that our style of government is intirely for a moral and religious society. That if we don't have people that have morals and the religion that he was talking about, John Adams, was our Christian values, you know, if we don't follow the golden rule of love thy neighbor as yourself, this doesn't this whole thing doesn't work. But if you believe in having terrorism, having people kill civilians, rape them, kidnap, torture, what happened just three years ago. We have to remember, and we can't have this type of ideology that where people think that's okay. And many of you have seen these interviews of people who have gone to Palestine and and they've asked, do you think these Israelis that died on October 17th should have died?

Their answers they all say yes. And these are just civilian, many women. You know, if if female civilians in Palestine feel that Israeli women should have been murdered and raped, we need to recalibrate our gauges. We've have some problems, and that is like our founding fathers, the ones who founded our government, the Federalist papers, our constitution, that this style of government is completely inadequate for those who are not a moral and religious society. It's not religious to want to eradicate and wipe off the face of the earth people because of their religion. It's not compatible.

Or to assault them or sexually exploit them, to threaten them. That's what's going on now in the West, and to include here in America. And we have to ask ourselves are we willing to give up all of our freedoms? America is the best country in the world, I believe, myself. And are we willing to give that up to have what those who practice Islam and the Muslim Brotherhood, they all are saying publicly in their mosques in America and around the world that their plan is to bring Sharia law and to impose it on their neighbors. That is their goal.

I'm not making this up. So if you are willing to give up all your rights to give up as uh another founding father, president or and former president, Thomas Jefferson said at the last sentence of our declaration of independence on this we sacrifice our our lives, our fortune, and our sacred honor. If we're willing to just give everything up just to not offend people, to give up your way of life, your freedoms of speech, it's uh we will lose that.

And that right now we are at the precipice of when we examine what happened in these three historical incidences, these three mornings, these three warnings, these three failures to act, when there's evidence of what was going on, and now we're at that, we're at another morning. When you listen to this, you're hearing these warnings, you're seeing it, and you can touch it tangibly about what's going on in Paris as we speak. Pearl Harbor was a very clear example that you can prepare technologically for this very sophisticated adversary, but when you don't act, and we don't have the courage, and you don't have the leaders that are willing to believe and to stand up and to act, innocent people will die in large numbers. We saw it with those Americans who died on the battleship Arizona and Nevada and West Virginia and California and Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Maryland, and Oklahoma. On those battleships and many other aircraft and warships, lives were lost because leaders failed to act. And the same thing happened on September 11th, 2001.

We knew this was going on, and people that we paid, that we trained, that we had raised the right hand and swear to defend our Constitution against all enemies, foreign and domestic. And when they saw these threats, these warnings of an impending lethal attack, they failed to stand up. And I've seen it. I could no longer work as a civilian in the United States government because I saw weak, cowardly leaders. And that's that's what led to those civilians, those Americans in New York, jumping out of a towering inferno, burning in front of them. They had no choice, they leapt to their death. They paid that lesson in blood. And what happened three years ago this week on October 7th?

That should again teach us when we see these warnings again and again, whether they're three warnings on the morning of December 7th, or these three separate events across history in this last century, we cannot afford to have families, just like in Israel, 1200 murdered, 251 hostages, some American citizens that were tortured, raped, murdered. Horrible. And we have leaders that are in charge of this right now. And if they offend people by taking a strong stand, we can't get our freedom back once we lose it. We have to stand and hold the line. We cannot allow the enemy to attack us and to open that gate. There will be more people like Nadal Hassan. They are coming, they are here. We have to identify them, we have to have the courage to stand up before they kill us. Ladies and gentlemen, it's been a pleasure to fill in from Lieutenant Colonel Sargis, and he will be back next week. And until then, may God bless you. God bless those service members standing on the front lines.

God bless the United States of America.
