Chapter 24: Her Gasping Red Grin
Wood will rot or splinter, glass will shatter, metal will bend or break, and everything one day will return to the dust. The world will one day return to dust, and the dead drying bones of a home, disconnected from the living dream of the world as they are, trimmed and snipped from the wilderness, sawed into lengths and shapes, hammered with iron fangs that bite until rust eventually comes to trim their length - WILL return much sooner. The safety of a home is false comfort. Written and Narrated By: Cole Weavers Sound Production and Editing By: Harlan Guthrie Theme Song By: Charlie PS Cover…

The relationship between old friends can be contentious and that is no more true, than it was with Edith Blackleech and Adam. Chapter 18: Truth Dies in Burn's Bog
Adam seeks power in truth, by squeezing that interloping eye known as Edward August Hall for knowledge. Adam has been gone a long time, and last time he was back in The Fort, he'd foolishly assumed that the world hadn't changed without it, but it had. The scheming machinations within The Fort kept on ticking as sure as the sun kept rising, but Adam won't make that same mistake twice. There is a place beyond that which can be touch, where those who walk with long shadows stride. Their heels always to the nothing of that place, taking from it, but giving in equal measure their sacrifice to whatever built that palace of inky darkness. That is the domain that Edward August Hall now calls his own, but there are those who know it's cathedral halls better than he.
