Speaker 3:Out the way. Let's get that out the way. We are back then. Can't have analogies, man, We.
Speaker 2:Didn't have analogies. Man, we have allergies which want me to do so they was cutting the grass? Was the grass we want me to do? It was the grass?
Speaker 3:What? What murder? What long? The best guy around?
Speaker 2:Yeah?
Speaker 3:Yeah, come on, man, everybody knows that it's best going around. We are back. Sponsored by Boost. Jamarus is not here, Ryan is not here. It's just a Fellas. Yes, so no one. They can't stop us now, they can't stop us. Now, there's no stopping there's nobody here to say edit that. Oh my god, please, Yes, we don't have the gen Z Gauge of being offended. No, over here, we don't. We don't have anything.
Speaker 2:It just us, man, So what is the woman? Come on, let's listen that we were starting a lot to talk about that goes.
Speaker 3:Ironically. I'm pussy. I don't want to go down that path. But we'll talk about the w n b A and all the immediate changes that are afoot. But let's start with how your weekend was. I heard you was moving around the city. Saw you me. I'm just making that. Oh I didn't hear. I don't hear that anywhere. I didn't go anywhere this weekend. I was chilling. It was a little hot. Yeah, it was nice.
Speaker 2:I went to the parking I mean like got my got my steps in, okay, I mean and gathered some more allergies.
Speaker 3:No, no, I was it was cool. It wasn't.
Speaker 2:It wasn't cutting and cutting the grass out there.
Speaker 3:Cool. I got you. That was cool.
Speaker 2:That was it. I stayed at the crib, cleaned up, got rid of some stuff, you know, some little cleaning, that's all.
Speaker 3:Yeah. I went to the uh Chris Brown and Usher show? How was it on Saturday? Went to the Saturday show. It was great.
Speaker 2:It wasn't too like because Usher was trying to sexy, you know, see seeing crack feen his ass cracked.
Speaker 3:Like I did not see from where I was sitting. Did they take that off the show? Did they? Did they take that out? Yeah? I don't remember seeing that. All right, cool, cool, cool, I was. I was paying it.
Speaker 2:That's why I stayed away from met Life. I was like, maybe this is for the ladies. You mean too much R and B, too much, too much.
Speaker 3:Mail, R and B. I respect what Chris Brown is doing. Man's that's a good hustler's mind state. Because I went to the Breezey Bowl. And I'm not saying that it's the breeze Bowl part two, but what a great way for all your equipment that you've renic And let's saying shot at Chris because I don't see the Breezey Bowl set a thousand times though I don't care. But it was like the best of the Breezy Bowl. And now let's add in an icon like Usher. It was incredible. Yeah, and I'm gonna be the old guy on the lawn.
Speaker 3:Why I really really wanted to go is I don't think I'll ever be able to see this again, Like when When will I be able to go see music I like in a stadium of someone that's not already doing stadium Hm hmm, okay, that's interesting. I don't think that that's set up for the rest of my lifetime. I'm not saying there won't be a younger artist that can do a stadium, but the type of music I like, I'm not sure if they're not already doing stadiums. If I'll ever see somebody in a stadium again, that's interesting.
Speaker 2:Yeah, none of the newer artists that I can think of. Uh, Don Don, I can see Don getting to to stay. I can see I can see Don Tyler doing the stadium tour yectually.
Speaker 3:Absolutely the music he makes, the show he puts on, the show he puts on.
Speaker 2:Like I told you, you know, we saw him at a main America that year and essentially he opened for Bad Bunny because he went up right before Bad Bunny, and then I was blown away. I was like, wow, yeah, like he can absolutely hold his own on that type of stage in front of that many people without a doubt.
Speaker 3:Yeah yeah, man, it was Uh it was good. Usher is him? Oh yeah no, But it's like it's different. Pause when you see it.
Speaker 2:Yeah, I saw the Usher show when he was on tour, so you know, of seeing some clips, just like you said, it's the best of I just I don't.
Speaker 3:Know those versus talks. It was COVID. We were all delirious. We didn't know what was going on. A lot of those versus talks. Some of y'all need to keep ushering his name out of your fucking mouth. I mean, but we knew that though everything was a hit, like a generation every single song he did was a fucking generational hit. Yeah, like he did not The show was fucking three hours. Yeah. I don't know how Chris Brown remembers all the lyrics hits, songs he did, like thirty songs.
Speaker 2:That's always the most impressive thing about that type of set is remembering the song. Yeah, because it's a lot of music, a lot of choreography, a lot of stage production. I have to be on this side.
Speaker 3:Yeah, there's a lot to remember.
Speaker 2:Like we just see the show, but you don't realize how much really goes into it. And then every night having to remember those cues, like it's impressive.
Speaker 3:Yeah, And I mean, of course Usher ran through all the hits, hits, but you know, no, Chris Brown has three hundred songs on streaming. He was doing you know, like album cuts to Show'm like, how the fuck does he remember this shit? So it was an incredible show. It was cool to watch j D watch the show. Yeah, Like I was kind of a I did take one video of JD taking a video when Confessions Part two came home, and he was just you know, going through the whole stadium, Like that's got to be a crazy feeling that, Like I started this on my MPC right, I wrote, like this is crazy. Yeah, So it was cool to just watch him watch the show, like that was just an idea in your head and now it's in met life, Like that's got to be a crazy after so many years too.
Speaker 2:Yeah, Like that's the part that's really impressively after so many that that song has to be what twenty years old?
Speaker 3:Yeah, two thousand and one? What was Confessions that one?
Speaker 2:Yeah, it might be, it might be yeah, twenty five.
Speaker 3:Yeah, Jesus Christ. Well, on Friday, he brought out a Jada kissing Fat Joe and I believe fifty. I think he brought out fifty two fifty. They were saying that at the show but I didn't see any clips of it, so I wasn't sure if he came out.
Speaker 2:But I did see Jada in Fat Joe clips. I didn't see no clips of fifty performing so a shanty.
Speaker 3:So a shant here man that Yeah, that was an I was.
Speaker 2:There, Okay, Yeah I didn't. I didn't see no clips of fifty before me though.
Speaker 3:Yeah, Matthan Mary was crazy. Ashanti was great. Just ushering a shanty singing duets was incredible. Future just did march Madison di. It was great to do this little number and get out of here. He literally just like sprinted off the stage and yeah, which was cool because they had like in the riser was one of the stages and the stage would go up and down. So like then Future just came out and you're at a bar. Okay, Like that ship was really fucking cool. Like you're literally at a circle bar and it's a stage and it's yeah, it's a stage in the middle. Yeah, that ship was cool.
Speaker 3:But I had a really good time. Shout out to Dell that uh got me the tickets, and for all our pod listeners that were worried about my safety. Chris. Chris is not upset at being the mess. Why would he Why would he be? I feel like the listeners were that then, because then the back and forth between them kind of starts did based off comments about our post, and like I think the fans held Damaris and I a little responsible for elevating that back and forth between the two. So but no, it was. It was cool, man, It was cool. It was a lot of bloods at everyone's name started with yeah, yeah, yeah, that's Chris and me.
Speaker 3:And that was at the loading dock. You know, we got there early, and you know it's like, you know, bick and back, he's gonna get you, Like, who's getting us? What's his name? Sounds like a great guy? Yeah yeah, but Chris was nothing but kind and hospitable, super cool, kicked. It was before the show, Like, yeah, it was. It was a really really good time. Yeah that's what's up.
Speaker 2:Man. Shout out to Chris Brown, shout to Usher and the icons. The after party in Met Life, I mean party in Met Life.
Speaker 3:Yeah, they did that for the Breeze ball too that I went to, like in his green room and you got you butt.
Speaker 2:You meant like out in the pit about say what Yeah.
Speaker 3:No, it it was I didn't last too too long because it was like way too much. Who could smoke in there? But you know, it's like fifty women, like two guys that aren't Chris Brown. So you're just you know, you're one of the girls. You're part of the part of the decor pretty much. You're part of the court. Yeah, pretty much. So you know, good time. You might as well be a napkin Chris account.
Speaker 4:Yeah.
Speaker 2:There's nothing more humbler than like being in a room like that with so many women and you know that all of these women are here from maybe two guys. Yeah, it's the most humbless thing in the world. It will humble you. Like you think that you got some type of you know, charisma with you and you're like, yeah, you know, look nice to smell good. You know, I got something going on with my job. Got a job, you know what I mean, like trophy, I made money. Yeah, I got a nice house like whatever. Not until you get in certain rooms, do you realize how.
Speaker 3:Visible I didn't just rock MetLife three.
Speaker 2:Yeah, you know, you don't realize how in visible you It was not me performing a running up.
Speaker 3:Yeah no, No, that wasn't me at all. And there's always the girl that is trying not to like look like they're the groupie. Maybe they're the plus one of their friends the groupie, and they want to make it like very clear that they're not just yeah, and they'll talk to you just as part of their plan for perception. It looks like it looks good. I hate these things. And then then Chris comes out of the green room and it's like, wait, I thought, no, that's not the energy.
Speaker 3:I thought you didn't care about celebrities.
Speaker 2:They don't care about this whatever. It's past as another day the met life so fun though, Yeah it was. It was a great, great time.
Speaker 3:That's what something.
Speaker 2:He was outside. You was outside, not me.
Speaker 3:Yeah, well, I mean I even go to the after party, like after after party. I don't understand how they do that, Like, how do you do how do you do three hours do the green room after party and then go to the city and do like your official after party. I have no idea how possibly do that?
Speaker 2:I mean, you know, just get out there and just listen to all the people tell you how great you are, and you know, shake some hands, hugs, kisses and pictures, videos, and then you know, go to your back to your suite in Manhattan and go to bed.
Speaker 3:Yeah. Salute to Usher's head of security, who is a listener of the show. Dope man won't say his name, but he's like, may y'all should have Raymond on. I said, okay, you think you think you want to set.
Speaker 2:Yeah, we got called JD Man. Let's set that up. Yeah, I think I should work come.
Speaker 3:On the show. He would, I think he would. I mean he doesn't need the promotion. No, no, no, it was clear.
Speaker 2:Yeah, yeah, they don't need they don't need any press, any promo, like.
Speaker 3:It would be just a talk shit though. Yeah, but now good time definitely suggests going to the Usher. It's Chris Bridle. It's worth the money, like, and there's nothing but women there and they're all like in there.
Speaker 2:How many more cities do they have on on the tour.
Speaker 3:That's a good question. I'm not sure. I will problem like to catch that seeing that show in London with London women.
Speaker 2:Yeah, that wouldn't even be fair a great time because of the accents, you know, of course, of course, yeah, it's just the accent. Thirty more shows, okay, yeah, I'll look and see what city's doing.
Speaker 3:Oh yeah, it's all the way through December.
Speaker 2:Col JD have them give me some tickets.
Speaker 3:Listen Atlanta November, Oh oh my god, November seventh, eighth, and eleven. You think I won't beat it? Then we got we actually have to shoot down there.
Speaker 2:We got to those days. It's the same week we gotta be Yeah, yeah, it's crazy. Damn.
Speaker 3:I guess sponsor by boostmos after now it's for the show. We haven't got a good Atlanta trip in a while, man, Yeah, I miss our extended Atlanta's trips like we didn't need to be here too more to.
Speaker 2:No, we got one coming up in November. Well yeah, of course, come on you're talking about bro. We got to make the rounds well, like we got to make sure everybody's good, checking one that goes leftovers from invest Fest?
Speaker 3:You never know? Come on, man, how come we're never invited to invest bet I don't know. And who invites the people?
Speaker 2:I don't know?
Speaker 3:I have no idea. Is it an invite thing? Or can you just like buy a ticket and go what You can.
Speaker 2:Definitely buy tickets to invest Fest.
Speaker 3:To invest in yourself.
Speaker 2:Yeah, well you go there and listen to the you know, people speak. You can buy your own ticket. Now they the private party and things like that. That's I'm assuming it is an invite one. But we're not probably not cool enough to get invited to those things I want to go to. I want to go network. You got to be cooler, I guess that's true. Yeah, I invest in things.
Speaker 3:Yeah, but you got to.
Speaker 2:But you're not cool though, a lot of people invest in things. It's just not cool. So you got to be cool in and best in things.
Speaker 3:I could get a suit, Yeah, I could do it good in a suit. Yeah, come on, man, we could stream it. Yeah.
Speaker 2:Shout out to invest festal, shout out to the guys for sure. No, it look like great em yeah man. But anyways, we are back. I wish with what we're about to talk about. I wish I had a different opinion.
Speaker 3:What are we about to talk about?
Speaker 2:Because oh yes, yes, the timeline was in a ten zy, A frenzy, a benzie. I wish, yeah.
Speaker 3:Discourse. I wish yeah. I was like outraged and like melting down the way the timeline is so we could have some I don't wish. I wish I actually felt that way. I wish I even had it in me to pretend like I do, just again for discourse on the podcast, but I don't care, right, Drake did a stream with Steak Yes the nine year anniversary of Steak Yes, with the Nult Boys, which are known to platform powerful juice, so it all made sense in the long run. And Drake did a twenty v one challenge for those that don't know, there's a huge series on the internet with balloons and girls talk to guys what they do like and don't like, and then they picked a person. You've seen it. It's great, very entertaining. Maybe another tool of the CIA, but either way, it's entertaining. So Drake went did his own version of that with a bunch of women, and the timeline melted down as if this was the worst thing to happen to the culture in the fifty years that we've loved him about. Yeah, why are y'all melting that? I don't know, man, I don't know, man.
Speaker 2:I just think that you know, it's it's It's very interesting that no matter what Drake seems to do say, you know, it's it just seems like this and again, the internet is not a real place.
Speaker 3:We know that.
Speaker 2:It's been proving time and time again. More people love Drake than they hate Drake. It's just very interesting to people the things that people get upset about whenever Drake decides to do something. But what were people expecting him to do on the stream? What they're expecting him to give a PowerPoint presentation on weekend? Oh okay, yeah, I just don't know. Like people are mad that he did a twenty V one. They're saying that he's almost forty years old. He should be married, and he should be like settled down, and he shouldn't be, you know, around so many women.
Speaker 3:I just don't.
Speaker 2:Understand that mindset at all. I don't understand what it is to be upset about a guy being around a women like and he's he's an entertainer, he's one of the most famous guys on the planet, one of the greatest recording artists of his generation, and people upset that he's speed dating on stream. I just don't understand that. How am why people upset it that like these are.
Speaker 3:And I were talking off camera. I understand sometimes when there's outrage of when maybe they'll do something with Aiden Ross or Bobby alts Off or even the nug Boys for that, But I don't know much about the Nugg Boys. The only thing I've ever watched it there is when they had net and yahu on, which was insane when they were handled by Israel. But I can see where some people would be upset about that for their own political views that maybe Aiden Ross has expressed, or the Nulkboys or whatever. But that's not what everyone was outraged on the timeline about. They're just really upset that he did twenty first one in a non serious way.
Speaker 2:Yeah, Like it wasn't even like a real It's not like he was really on their looking and searching for love. It was for entertainment purposes. It was, you know, for him to have fun and do a stream on for stake. Like, I just don't understand why people you know what it is. I think that people are just not used to somebody as popular, as successful and just being as maybe accessible. Drake Is has made himself the most accessible superstar I think we've ever seen.
Speaker 3:I don't which there's nothing, There's nothing wrong with He's adapting with the times, and I think you can be like a weekend and only pop out when you're putting something out, wear fucking mask, don't speak or you could be Drake like it's really however, you are comfortable. But Drake is accessible. He's on the Internet constantly. I mean he'll clearly he'll DM anyone like he's accessible. You can you can go out and see Drake way easier than you probably could any celebrity.
Speaker 2:And I don't think there's anything wrong with that. No, there's nothing, of course, there's nothing wrong with that. I think it just speaks to his personality. He's a very Drake Drake is if you've ever had the opportunity to meet him, he's a very for who he is is and is obviously the stature of his star power. He's a very humble guy, very welcome and very hospitable, a gentleman. I just don't know why that makes other people uncomfortable.
Speaker 3:I actually I do know. There is a major, major part of.
Speaker 2:The Internet and you know, social media that capitalizes and monetizes off of I guess, hating being upset, being bothered by whether it's Drake, whether it's you know, Chris Brown, Rion, any of this, Beyonce, jay Z, like, no matter who it is, there is monetization and hating and being upset and expressing disdain for something that, you know, an artist of the caliber of a Drake, whatever he does, I've seen somebody say, oh, you know, he only gave away however amount of dollars, And I'm just like, Drake could have gone on streaming given away two hundred million dollars in some somebody would have said, I thought there was bees on the table. How come he didn't give away six hundred million dollars. Like It's it's almost like, no matter what he does, no matter what he says, people have learned that, and we saw it through the whole you know battle that people stand to gain a lot of money if you stand on this side of saying this guy is fake, this guy is, he's you know, he's he's now he's trying to pander to women to prove that, you know, he doesn't like little girls and things.
Speaker 2:I'm seeing all of this online and I'm just like, what, Like, I just it's like, it's the craziest thing to see. But I also understand it because we've seen people literally pay mortgages on creating these channels and creating these platforms that are designed to.
Speaker 3:Hate anything that he does.
Speaker 2:That he says that he puts out that he wears that he people he aligns himself with. It doesn't matter as long as I'm on the side of he's a terrible, horrible person. He's pandering to women. I just don't but I do get it, because you can't make money doing that handards.
Speaker 3:So you think you think maybe some of the men are jealous of the girlies, like they wanted stronger drinks and stronger men.
Speaker 2:Well, don't get it twisted. A lot of these people wish that they could go to stronger drinks. No, not that, but that they were invited, that they are acknowledged that they are you know, I guess validated in some way by anything that they say about Drake, whether it's him responding or commenting on a post, whether it's him you know, mentioning somebody on stream, whether it's mentioning somebody in the song, like a lot of people are looking for that.
Speaker 3:Yeah, And I mean, I think it goes both ways. People also made it their identity on the other side as well, to hate on anything Kendrick does. It's just that Drake gives more AMMO because he is more accessible and does things often that you can comment on. Yeah, whereas Kendrick is more of a mystique and there's theories and like you know, he still hasn't spoken since twenty twenty four, So there's both sides to it. Just Drake gives more AMMO. And as somebody that for the last Harmony years has brought up on podcasts that they would like to see Drake's content mature a bit, and I've been one of those people. And while I do think there is some of that on Iceman, I do think he did discuss some of the things that I've I've wondered as a fan in his maturing and aging. But I also at this point am gonna listen to the guy that is telling me who he is? Yeah, like that that's where it's I guess as a former person that wanted that from Drake, I get it. But I also now don't get why you would want somebody so you wanted to pretend like do you want to get a fake wife and or like get back with his baby mother and have a nuclear family and not fuck worse.
Speaker 3:Like he's been very honest in saying I'm probably not going to settle down, like I'm still this is what I do right, going to therapy. It's not going to work for me. Like, this is just the path I've chosen, and some of that comes with not having this jay Z Beyonce a relationship that everybody wants, right, So yeah, like I what more do you want from Drake other than to be himself? Now you can disagree and be like, hey, I don't want to be forty doing that, then don't do it. But Drake has always done skits, he's done streams.
Speaker 3:He's told y'all, I'm not settling down at this point. I can't criticize someone for telling me exactly who they are and doing it. So what the fuck what do I want from them? Yeah? If you say that's not for me, cool, I respect it. That's wrong.
Speaker 2:The one the one thing that I did love about the stream was when he was on the twenty v one. I can't remember the young lady's name, but she was the heavy set girl.
Speaker 3:Yes, the rapper from Detroit. Did you did you?
Speaker 2:Did you see how Drake handled that? Now, let's let's just be honest here. If we're on the twenty v one, I don't know. I'm one of the biggest recording artists in the world, right and I don't know the women that are coming out. My boys set this up. They kind of vetted the women that will be here, right, and outwalks a heavy set woman. Most guys, most rappers, would you know, you would feel or see an expression from them as kind of like like come on man like while y'all. But in that moment, Drake was like, first of all, he knew she was, he knew her music, like for somebody of his stature to be that much of just like an even cool like he would talk to her just on a very human level. He didn't, you know, give any kind of you know, notion that he was he wasn't attracted. And I'm just saying he didn't give any kind of notion that he wasn't attracted to her, that she wasn't his tie. He may have been, as it wasn't he may have, but this is what I'm saying, most gods seeing Drake with the girls, right, but most gods in that situation would have saw something where it's like, nah, he not feeling shorty. It wasn't
Speaker 2:even that type of interaction. It was a very cool, very like you know, dope interaction that he had with her on just a human level. Fucked me being Drake and you know whatever, whatever, It was a very human and to me, that says a lot about the type of guy that he is. In that moment, he's able to be like, yo, I'm listening to everything is it's all love here. Everything is cool, and it's not about you know who's coming out, how she looks, she's she's she's a heavy set girl. It doesn't even matter, Like I know who this is, like I know you music.
Speaker 3:Yeah. I thought that that was a very very dope moment, And again.
Speaker 2:That speaks to the type of person that he is, Like I want to sit down with people and let them understand that while I am who I am, I'm still human. I'm still a very chill god, very cool god, very laid back. Everybody is welcoming. If I welcome you in, you're welcome to all of the things that come with being around me. Like, to me, that is part of what the stream is showing his personality on a very human level. Fuck the superstar shit, like we all know that part. But it's like, I'm still just a cool guy that enjoys being around my friends and being around women and having a good time.
Speaker 3:To me, I thought that was dope.
Speaker 2:I don't know what people were looking for from the stream, however much money they thought he was spoted to give away, And at least I don't care about any of that.
Speaker 3:On a personality level.
Speaker 2:Just being able to see who he is and him inviting you into his world and showing you more of the things that he does, I thought it was dope.
Speaker 3:Yeah. Again, coming in today, I knew, no matter how we cover this, this is going to get clipped. Probably not this part, They'll probably just clip one. Yeah, there's going to be no right way for anyone on the internet on how reacts as I just I simply just don't care. And I don't know if that makes me part of the problem, but I do not care that Drake is on stream doing twenty B one. I laughed at it and then all my life and I what is he supposed to do?
Speaker 2:Is he's supposed to fight? Is he supposed to like? What he's supposed to like? What is I just don't understand. What are people?
Speaker 3:What do they is?
Speaker 2:It's like, no matter what, it's not enough, no matter what he does, no matter what he says, no matter it's just not and it's always going to be. And again, like I said, it's people are able to monetize that rory. They're able to make money off of, you know, just being a contrarian to anything.
Speaker 3:Drake says.
Speaker 2:It doesization in it.
Speaker 3:So I understand it.
Speaker 2:I understand the personalities and in the space and the platforms that are created off of solely hating anything.
Speaker 3:Drake says, and does I get it. I understand.
Speaker 2:Everybody's here to pay bills, everybody's here to make a living. Everybody's here to take care of themselves and their families. If you sleep well at night, however, you do that, then you know it is what it is. I just don't. I just sit back and laugh because I understand that. It's like, of course, people are supposed to hate that. Yeah, they're supposed to be against whatever he does and says, this is part of the thing. It's part of it. People are going to love it, people are gonna hate it.

Speaker 3:Yeah. I mean it happened when I was at the Chris Brown and Usher. So when I got in the car, I was in a little bit of traffic, opened the timeline and I was like, why is everyone outraged that Drake is doing a stream with Joiner Lucas? And I was like, I mean that's hip hop right, Oh you thought it was Joining? I swear to God, like that's an odd move, but like maybe I don't know, get a lot of flak like lyric like, you know, Joining is a great lyricist, Like maybe he's showing it, you know, is versatility. Yeah, maybe it's different perspectives with twenty v one and like flirting in first dates or something like.
Speaker 3:I thought maybe he was taking as that route. Yeah I was. I was not aware that it was Jordan Lucas Jordan Lucas for an entire car ride. I was like, that's such a weird move. Yeah, Lucas, you thought Drake was streaming with join What wasn't a bit that I put I wasn't making a joke on our group chat. I was like, it's an odd move because again I'm like I'm dripping on them. I'm not looking at everything. I just see that ship.
Speaker 2:If I was to see that on the timeline, I would definitely be ready to click on that.
Speaker 3:Though. You have to understand it also had like leaning the plug in there. Well, it's like what a group.
Speaker 2:It's just like such a random just room of people Like, Okay, I guess this is what the stream is supposed to be. The most random personalities we can get in the room. Let's put them all in the room with the biggest star on the planet.
Speaker 3:Right, Like Navy Joiner is going to do the perspective from the balloon. It's like to be popped, like right right, I was like, maybe where's he taking it? Yeah?
Speaker 2:I want to see it though. I want to see Jordan Lucas on the stream with Drake. If that were to happen, I would definitely watch.
Speaker 3:Something like that. And yes it was Jordan Lucas. So my apologies to theautiful, beautiful streamer Jordan Lucas. And from my understanding, she's like a super big Drake fan And that was like she's she's.
Speaker 2:A big she has she has been wanting to meet Drake. Yeah, what's crime again? Even that's a cool thing, right, Like Drake understands that, he sees that. He's like, okay, or whoever put it together, they understand that, like, Okay, let's get her out here, let's make this a moment and let's stream it. Like to me, those things are cool.
Speaker 3:Why not? Do you think he will cash in the hall pass that Lena Lena twenty two Missus twenty two gave him. It was signed by Adam.
Speaker 2:I think he will? Why not?
Speaker 3:I'm not here to judge.
Speaker 2:Listening, you attracted to women, You obviously enjoy having sex with beautiful women.
Speaker 3:This is with because what she does, it's the one plus one equals to Yeah.
Speaker 2:This is like, this is like if you play basketball and you get a chance to fucking play Jordan one on.
Speaker 3:One, same thing. Yeah, it's the same. Like, sure, it wasn't aware that Lena was the goat and I have not seen.
Speaker 2:Her work, but like, I mean, why wouldn't you, Yeah, why wouldn't you?
Speaker 3:Yeah, absolutely, that was that was a good move.
Speaker 2:Her husband is okay with it. He understands it, he's allowing it, right, No, he's signed the Hall past. Yeah, so there's no, there's no, there's nothing wrong here with two consenting adults. And you know she enjoys having sex. She's she's obviously great at what she does. Yes, yeah, whatnot.
Speaker 3:Aside from Lena and Adam's relationship because obviously they've done the porn thing and it was the whole thing when she exlept with the other guy. Hm, that's where just I can't do the whole past thing because you're gonna be able to fuck Drake before I'm able to fuck Rihanna. Like it's just it's not it's unfair. Hall passes are so lopsided for men and women that it's like, yeah, you could go outside and run into Drake and fun him.
Speaker 2:Right, I'm not anyone on my hall. It's just like not going to happen.
Speaker 3:So why am I putting myself in this position like it's equal babe, you get your No, I'm not going.
Speaker 2:To run into My whole past is not I can't cash minds in at the store I want to go to.
Speaker 3:Yeah. No, everyone was there for Chris Brownd not for me. I can't use my whole path. Your whole past is no good here. Your money's no good here, your bunny, your money's no good here.
Speaker 2:Yeah, I feel you though, I mean, I understand it, but you know, I think that he Why wouldn't he.
Speaker 3:Not saying he's going to you know, I can't speak to that. I don't know, but why wouldn't he? He's attractive, Not that I think Drake cares for safe, but it would become a spectacle for sure, Like there would be an entire No Jumper episode with Adam and Leona, like breaking down the entire thing. And I just don't know. You're not in that world.
Speaker 2:Okay, you're not understanding. I think if he does do it, it's the NBA.
Speaker 3:They have ship to lose. They can't make content out of it.
Speaker 2:Yeah, Like I think if he does, like, if he does decide like, yeah, I'll bang her.
Speaker 3:Yeah.
Speaker 2:I think it's an NDA though I don't think that he would allow her to go on her platform and speak about it. And I don't I don't see that that. I don't see it.
Speaker 3:But I don't know. After you bark at a goth girl, do you really care if Lena the plug talks about your fuck style?
Speaker 2:Yeah, but barking at a goth girl is you know, that's part of it. That's what she's supposed to do to goth girls. He's supposed to bark at him when you see him, like that's the language they speak, that's the vernacular.
Speaker 3:Who else do you do to a goth? Listen, I'm glad Drake king clean and apologize to Speedy so I show speed. I'm saying, right, yeah speed, Yeah, yeah, because he did. I remember seeing that comment of like you got to start stop barking at winding do Yeah? Man, look at you up there, just barking at a goth. To be fair, she requested it, and who is he just saying? Yeah?
Speaker 2:Like it's not like she walked down and he just started barking, like, no, she asked him like what he barked for her, and he barked, if.
Speaker 3:You bark at a girl on stream, I feel like it's fair game for anyone to clown you for doing it. That's whatever. I'm not here to defend the barking. What I will say is some of y'all that were killing Drake. Y'all were in moan rooms on Clubhouse in twenty twenty. Remember that, So some of y'all, I don't know if I really want to hear your judgments of a bark mind not my game. I'm not really barking at women, even if.
Speaker 2:They are on a day and she asked you to bark. I don't think if Kinky Chwo would have asked me to bark, I would have barked.
Speaker 3:I'm just not I don't have the confidence of a Q dog like. I've seen the q's get that off and it worked perfectly. Yeah, but nobody's asking him to do that. Summer well, I've seen plenty of women go up to ques He'll barking me. Women love cues. Yeah, I'm just so what's wrong with that?
Speaker 2:If it's requested, I think it's weird if it's not requested and you do it, but if it is, if a woman is asking you to, like would you bar for me?
Speaker 3:Yeah? And I've never p like and I'm not about to practice now. It was falling dog. I'm a dog on my muff it was fall of dogs. Yeah. He has confidence because like the first time I'm barking, it can't be on stream because I don't know what. I don't know what my bark is, Like like what if I have a Baisley bark and like not yeah, because you never not a boomer, but you don't practice bar. That's what I'm saying, Like I don't know what would come out? Like what what? What? What dog? What breed?
Speaker 3:Would you be? Like? Like of course I'd love to say I'm a pit, but maybe I'm a golden doodle.
Speaker 2:I don't know.
Speaker 3:I don't know, I've never I don't know. And if golden doodle comes out, like I don't know if I can live that down. You can't.
Speaker 2:A woman can't unhear you balk like a golden doodle like this, she can't unhead.
Speaker 3:And then if she's into it, like now I'm thinking, like what does she think of me if she's into my golden doodle bark, like, you're definitely gonna step on my balls with you. He's a golden dude.
Speaker 2:Oh, he's a golden dudle. Like you know, nobody's scared of a goldendoodle. Like you know, it's very a very welcoming dog. Yeah, it's a very safe dog. Safe breath.
Speaker 3:But yeah, listen, man, if you were offended by that cool whatever, you have every right to have an opinion. I just I guess I just don't care to melt down that A rapper did that. He kept it on brand. He wiped the goth girl right. Yeah, but she talked with Bobby.
Speaker 2:Yeah, he said he was looking for a big, big boob GoF girl. Was she a true goth or was that like, did they know she's true goth?
Speaker 3:Okay, she's a stream she's a streamer.
Speaker 2:She she does like you know, onlyfan stuff and things like that, like she's she's a gothy. Yeah, God's playing, saw God's playing. It's God's playing. What do you want me to do?
Speaker 3:I mean, listen, everyone's wondering what the next sound drake is gonna do? You do the dance R and B wrapped trilogy, like are we going to full slip knot?
Speaker 2:Like are we hot topic and try it merch like I'm sure he could pull it off. Give a pinky chew and her who ole team and kind of like.
Speaker 3:I could see him with like the black hair like comb over, like over they get him a trench coat all these sensitive times. I mean, just put him with some Rick Owens now it's trendy. Put rick Owens and hit the comb over going it's like school shooter chic.
Speaker 2:Yeah, yeah, cheek, you know how it goes.
Speaker 3:I can't say rest in peace to everyone that is affected by absolutely mass shootings and school shootings.
Speaker 2:Yes, we don't condone it at.
Speaker 3:All, but yeah, again, of course I predicted anything Drake does is going to be some type of reaction, but I didn't know people were going to be melting down and not the the Twitter that you're talking about that you know, has made it their identity monetizes anytime they say something like it's like people like I know are melting down. Yeah gosh, you don't care, like you don't care, but I know you don't care that you don't care, but you understand it.
Speaker 2:It's it's you're able to make money off of doing that type of I.
Speaker 3:Mean, listen, every single content creator made money off that battle, and it's continuing to because everything is so heightened. Anytime Ken, Drick or Drake sneezes like everyone does, I'm whether they believe it or not, I'm just happy it's not our identity because some people, it may be that only see clips of you yelling and not the fact that we put out four episodes a week, where you know, that's five percent of the content. If something's going on with Drake, but I don't know, I just don't care that much.
Speaker 3:I really don't. Listen.
Speaker 2:I love that Drake don't get he don't care either. Obviously, he's doing what the fuck he want to do. He understands people are mad about it. He's living his happy little life he's created for himself.
Speaker 3:He's having fun. Man.
Speaker 2:I like that type of shit. That's how you're supposed to do it. I don't want to talk to none of y'all in media. I don't want to stream with any y'alla. Stream myself, do my own twenty v one, have my own team around me. It makes people, it keeps It makes people upset that they don't have access to him. They can't sit in front of him. Why he didn't come on the stream with this person? You should come on my stream. He should do this pod, he should do that pod, do this interview that No, should he or can he do? What the fuck he wants to do?
Speaker 3:Yeah? What? Uh? It wasn't fun Mary kill. It was a wife, wife, pipe and home homegirl or something wife pipe bestie, I think. Okay, now if Maul was up there, how would you go about that arrangement with the three of them?
Speaker 2:Uh?
Speaker 3:Because Drake Drake went with wife and the goth girl fucking Lena, and then Jordan was the thirst Yeah, bless you.
Speaker 2:I would wife each my those three women, those those three Yes again, I don't know what I'm never kicked it with just aesthetically, I would wife, uh, Jordan, my bestie would be pinky chew goth girl and not with pipe Lina.
Speaker 3:Okay, all right, that's what she does. I'm helping her, you know. I would. I'm with you on wife and Jordan. She's beautiful. That is a really cool personality. I'm gonna fuck the goths man? Why because I'd want to make Lena my homegirl. Because I think Lena has so much access to so many women. It'd be my investmentest to be homeboys with Lena, with the amount of women she could put me onto. Like you ever have the homegirl that has a thousand bad friends? And yeah, like she puts in a good word. It makes you skip so many steps. Yeah, but Lena has the homegirl. Listen, man, you're doing numbers in la you.
Speaker 2:Have you have you ever have a goth bestie?
Speaker 3:I have not known.
Speaker 2:Oh man, when you tap into that comic con market, right, you've never seen it.
Speaker 3:I'm gonna go out on limb and assume, with no context that most goth women are by Okay, So I still feel like if I go with the goth girl to fuck like that, I can still get the rest of comic condiff.
Speaker 2:He's gonna do it. Yeah, but I could too if that's my bestie.
Speaker 3:True.
Speaker 2:Yeah, she's still around, She's hanging out, coming to the crib, she you know, bringing the friends all of that.
Speaker 3:Yeah. Yeah. Also, I just I mean, again, I've not seen Lena's work, but she seems like a cool, funny person. Just also, I don't know, I mean, that's a happy home.
Speaker 2:I feel weird, but she has a whole pass a past. It would joke if that was me, it would That's what I'm saying. Yeah, i'd hit that. I'll pipe that for sure.
Speaker 3:Yeah. I wonder if that guy thing. Uh if it's not just a spectacle, what if that's a new power couple. What if we get Drake's four forty four but six sixty six, six six six, he's the sixth Finally we're go. We got what all you guys want. You're gonna get them mature Drake album after he wipe's the goth girls.
Speaker 2:See, he's the sixth god, so it makes his own brand. Six six six.
Speaker 3:I like it. I can see it happening. You laughing, But I could see kill Drizzy is.
Speaker 2:Dead.
Speaker 3:Never know, man, it could work. I see it happening. No, but seriously, now that I think about it, the Drake like emo alternative rock album with all features like him Blink one eighty two, Google Dolls.
Speaker 2:Yo, Green Day Jay Lincoln Parker's classic that would go crazy?
Speaker 3:Why not? Who's who's the group of Third Eye Blind? Who's the ones that I loved her so much? And she smiles?
Speaker 2:Bring those guys. That was a green day, I forgot when she smiles three doors down or some ship when she smiles, Oh god.
Speaker 3:Just that whole era of alternative rock.
Speaker 2:If there's any artists that can get those bands together to do an album, it is is Drake.
Speaker 3:Like if we want to say that he is a culture vulture that leaches off every single sound, like just go all the way with it now, Yeah, let's.
Speaker 2:Go to every lean into it. Let's go i'n get rock and roll back on the charts. But yeah, that's what. If it's anybody that is able to pull that off and get those artists in the studio like Quincy did for we all the world, it's Drake.
Speaker 3:Oh I mean Drake would easily smoke those alternative Yeah. Well the joint with Yeba on some sexy songs for you, isn't it alternative rock per se? But hearing him on that type of record, I know he could smoke. Yeah, that that'd be great. Man. If he put out like a little EP, that would be fucking.
Speaker 2:I'm only here for I don't care who. God, I mean again, I'm from a different record.
Speaker 3:I don't care.
Speaker 2:Who's dating who, who's sleeping with who. That was never a thought process of mind when I was listening to Biggie, when I was listening to pok early Ja, like I didn't care.
Speaker 3:I didn't.
Speaker 2:That wasn't a talking point amongst like in the barbershop, like who guys are sleeping with?
Speaker 3:It just wasn't the thing. Well, I mean, I was too young. Was it not like a rumor of like Biggie and Little Kim and Faith and that love drive?
Speaker 2:Obviously now everyone knows that. Yeah, I mean, but that's at the time. Was it because I was, But that's because he put it out there. An artists would say it and would kind of like.
Speaker 3:It was a conversation. Yeah, but it was.
Speaker 2:It was. It was a conversation, but it wasn't like a long outstanding, ongoing thing. It was like you talked about it when the artists mentioned it, if you saw them in a video or something together, like if they was in a magazine. How you know Faith and Big was in a magazine in the back of the car, Yeah, yeah, you talked about it. When Charlie Baltimore popped up in the video.
Speaker 3:You spoke about it.
Speaker 2:But it wasn't like if away from that, those weren't talking points like that wasn't a thing that people cared about.
Speaker 3:Also, this this era of like relationships helping rappers, that wasn't a thing then, because like being a rapper in a relationship was like an oxymoront. Even if you were in a relationship, you hit it. Like I always joked the first episode Love and Hip Hop, when Emily came on and said, I've been dating Fabulous for ten years, I was like, what the fab has been in a relationship for ten years? Right? It was like it was part of the marketing, Like you had to be the singlesistic to some degree, womanizer. That was the thing. So there probably wasn't room for that because there really was no relationships that we really looked at, Like then jay Z and Beyonce Na it's calise Like then it started to move that way. Yeah, but I don't know. I mean, it was always like are they actually a thug or not?
Speaker 3:That was the gossip. I remember.
Speaker 2:It's just now it's too it's too it's too much access I think there's too much accessibility. And then now with the fact that you can now make money off of talking about these things and doing that, now it's you get paid for conversations. You know what I mean, the longer you talk, the more money you make with streamers and things like that.
Speaker 3:It's just going on.
Speaker 2:It's like, but I just think at some point you just have to still remember, like, bro, we're supposed to be here to just enjoy the art from this person.
Speaker 3:Like I don't really care.
Speaker 2:About you know, who they're dating and who I just that's that never really did. What does the music sound like?
Speaker 3:Yeah, And I mean it's it's a bit hypocritical on Miam because obviously I've talked about that stuff, but at the end of the day, I care more about the music than anything else.
Speaker 2:But I'll talk about it and have fun, and for sure I don't that doesn't consume my brain to where I'm making think pieces. And I'm like, well, this person should really think about settling down. It's like what your parents been settled down.
Speaker 3:It's kind of crazy when you say it out loud.
Speaker 2:Yeah, like your parents have been settled down for years and they're not happy. Like, so that's what you think that this man here should do too. He should settle down and not be happy and.
Speaker 3:Relationship.
Speaker 2:Yeah, like give me the think piece on dinner at your house with your parents are going.
Speaker 3:Who your dad barking at?
Speaker 2:Yeah, Like I don't care, Like, come on, man, I think we just got to get back to just enjoying what this thing really is about, and it's about the art of it or the music, you know what I mean. Like things like that, we start to get into a weird space of you know, just wanting to talk about too many personal spaces in people's lives.
Speaker 3:Like I mean, well, the perfect storm happened with artists. Where it used to be mystique, now they're chronically online, so much happens every single day. Now everyone also can comment. Whereas before there was some mistique, there was like Extra one magazine and you just talked about it amongst your circle. Now everyone can comment, everyone can get paid, eybody can. All the artists are giving you Ammo every day because they're chronically online. Like it's the perfect storm of that. Yeah, it's not. I don't think it's anyone's in particular fault in that regard, but it's yeah, it's set up for this to be the inevitable. So I mean, I get why it happens, but that was always more I felt like a movie star thing than it was a rapper thing. Yeah, dating, Yeah, that was always like, yeah, that was that was movie star shit. Like I remember around the time my mom watching Extra, Like she would watch that ship and it was always like actors and actresses, Britney Spears melting down, Perez Hilton's covering every like. It was never really a rapper thing. But then I guess when it becomes the biggest genre in the world, that's the natural progression as well,
Speaker 3:Like and then the TMZ has to comment and.
Speaker 2:Then they're now dating other celebrities.
Speaker 3:Yeah, then the Kardashians took took hip hop under their wing. Yeah they did. I know that sounds insane. They took hip hop under their wing and put it into gossip. They did.
Speaker 2:They definitely have a hand in that for sure. Jay Z's to blame a lot of this too. Hell yeah, Like J and B's relationship was definitely the first. You know, I guess quote unquote.
Speaker 3:Streak rapper Tabloyd Across.
Speaker 2:And pop celebrity and their married family like that, that definitely kind of helped propel that whole yea.
Speaker 3:And they leaned into it with Dangerously in Love and Bonnie and Clyde like, yeah, in a smart way. They leaned into it. Yeah, and I'm sure organically too, a few people that love each other are going to make their records part of it. But yeah, they definitely leaned into that entire thing for sure. And they were just, you know, two of the biggest in their genre that we probably won't see something like that again, but they paved the way. Yeah, it's really Kim and Jay's fault when you get down to it.
Speaker 2:Yeah, Kim and Kanye, of course.
Speaker 3:I mean you get two of those type of people, and I don't know them personally, but two people that are very comfortable with their personal lives being displayed everywhere. And when I say thrive, I don't mean that in a negative way, but yes, their businesses thrive off people being in their business exactly listening to what they have to say or do.
Speaker 2:And now here we are today. This is just a chap, This is just a chapter. This is part of the chapter of this whole thing.
Speaker 3:Yeah, I guess, I don't know. Once they started filming weddings, I think that's when things just got out of control too much. Access. Yeah, why are we? Why are we? Why am I watching something? Well? Yeah, they used to be Royal Family ship which was even also weird, like these people don't do anything. I knew it was all over.
Speaker 2:Once they put Rutka Park on NBA TV, I knew we was headed here.
Speaker 3:I knew it. That's what started. Yeah, this is part of it.
Speaker 2:Man. Once Rutka was on NBA TV, I was like, yeah, sold down here from me. I've told you that.
Speaker 3:My dad's brilliant theory of when the world really went to ship it was when they invented the baby on board the stick sticks.
Speaker 2:Once we started caring about children and they were a priority.
Speaker 3:Is when this country went to ship. Once they became the most. They're not working, you're not doing anything, Like there's nothing that precious about you, right, you have to just go to the work for it. Right. And every time he goes out and ran, I laugh and I'm like, you're not wrong. But he was growing up. The kids weren't that important. I was important. My dad was not important.
Speaker 2:Seat Belts just the arm ship. This is the seatbelt. Sit back.
Speaker 3:When was the last time you were in a car with your poss Oh, spent a minute. My dad still to this day refuses to wear seatbelt. Refuse it for real, yes, refuses like he's making a state and like he treats it like he's most people. That's like, I'm not taking the vaccine. No, it's a seatbelt. Put the ship on. Not not only for your safety. I don't wanted this a fucking annoying ding every two seconds. Like, just put it on. And then behind him he found in one of his cars. He found that the cord and cut it and cut it. I'm like, dude, just put a fucking seatbelt on. It's not like overweight or something with like.
Speaker 2:From a different time, man, it's just from a different town.
Speaker 3:And I've told you guys, the uh my uncle, rubber Ball Paul who fell out on the Jersey turnpike. Like your little brother, you were in the back seat with him and he fell out of the car on the Jersey It was it was news Jersey Journal. Rubber Ball Paul. He still refuses to wear a seat belt. To just watch your little brother fall on the turnpike.
Speaker 2:They don't make him like that no more, I'm telling you, man.
Speaker 3:But I mean, other than the Drake thing, it was kind of a slow, slow weekend. Of course they tied it in because Drake made a little not a shell. Yeah, it was a shot whatever I'll call a shot the Rock Nation subpoena comment, which is Drake's always made those shots on stream. I didn't care much about it, but I do have to dive into shout out to what's the dirt uh, friend of the show fu, I fuck with dirt, And even if I disagree with some of the content, I do admire and respect the detail in what he puts in. Like I spoke with him about the Calico thing. I thought that was absurd but still a great entertaining video. He did do one of what's it's a great clickbit title untangling jay Z's evil plan to destroy Drake. Now that sounds like a book that was sold that inments sign coffee. Yeah, I want to give it a proper to watches to really get into the entire thing. Now. I have been for the last five not more than that, maybe seven years. I was one of the first people that said thirty for thirty freestyles nothing to do with Meek mil that's one percent about jay Z. I definitely have always felt like there's
Speaker 3:some behind the scenes tension, whether it's true or not, but this does a whole deep dive into Ai websites that are are doing smear campaigns. Desires lawyer team also involved with Steak and fanatics, and it's just a whole gambling mess. Then you adding Gamma Larry Jackson and I don't know. It could be true. No, it definitely could be true. Here's the thing, I am a whole venger. Being a whole venger makes me fully understand that jay Z is a ruthless businessman. I don't think in twenty twenty six any businessman or woman at the level of Jay and Dez are not playing behind the scene games.
Speaker 3:If you listen to jay Z back to just listening to what rappers have to say, they're telling you who they are. Jay has always played behind the scenes, whether you agree with it or not. And I really don't know if any of this is true and right as much as we joke, and I think you guys give rock Nation way too much credit of how they control the world, but they do also manage Meg and they had a deposition. You don't think rock Nation would use DES's Lloyd either way. Ja've been playing behind the scenes like every businessman. I'm not saying it's right or wrong. Boat.
Speaker 3:There's not a lot of morality in that level of business morality. Okay, yeah, this shit is is doggie dog like. Yeah, sometimes you have to play play ghetto games behind the scenes in that type of environment. And in this day and age, smear campaigns bots like that, that's that's the new business extortion to some degree. So again I'm not saying Jay's or even cares about what some bloggers, streamers or whatever are saying about him. I just it's not above anyone at this point, Like even even with uh shit with like Jay bidding for the Caesars Palace thing, like, you don't think all the companies that were bidding for that were not actively trying to do some form of behind the scenes smear campaigns against the person they're bidding with.
Speaker 3:But I'm not saying as saying to do what's the dirt saying, But I don't know, it's it's common practice. So it's it's business. Like the term it's not personal, it's business is one of the oldest phrases ever. So you think somebody that's that successful is above playing new era games in an era that everyone's doing this, it's not It's not right.
Speaker 2:I didn't I didn't really see much of Dirt's video. I saw some clips here and there and things that people were talking about. But to what you're saying, Uh, at that level of business, yes, there are going to be some things where I guess people feel like they were slighted or you know, damn that's fucked up, or I got the short end of the stick.
Speaker 3:Whatever.
Speaker 2:Maybe I just don't know if I subscribe to just Ja personally intentionally doing things to slight or harm Drake. Now again, you know is as family love him. It's like a big brother to me. I definitely understand Drake feeling away about the super Bowl thing, giving Kendrick that platform to platform that message, and I totally understand that. Aside from that, I just don't know if I subscribe to the theory that Jay is somewhere sitting back and it's trying to undermine or do something to blackball Drake.
Speaker 2:I just don't see. Not saying it's impossible. I'm not saying that. I don't you know, Jay is he can do whatever the fuck he wants to do. I just don't know if I need to see more. I need to see, like you have to really show me something that says not none of these theories or these piece together videos.
Speaker 3:You have to show me.
Speaker 2:Something that says Jay was behind this, that caused this to happen to Drake.
Speaker 3:Yeah, I mean I would have to see that. I don't.
Speaker 2:Again, I understand the super Bowl thing. I still you know that. I understand that part of it. And given Kendrick that platform dispew such a disgusting message about out, essentially the same thing Buzzy was trying to spew about Jay, It's the same message, right, So I understand that part of it. But you have to show me something aside from that to where you would say, oh, Jay is trying to do things to undermine Drake and the Rock Nation is trying to you know, you just I just need more than just a video of things that are pieced together, because lawyers from this team represent this person and this like, I would just need to see more than that.
Speaker 3:Now. I want to give credit to Dirt, and I definitely suggest everyone go check out what's the Dirt YouTube page? Not only that he has a lot of great videos, He's not on the delusional ship that the Internet was on when they found out that the guy that stabbed Tory had the same last name as des but it was spelled different in their different ethnicities. But that has to be it has to be. Does his cousin right right? But things like that, it's like, come on, man with the dirt is not on that. He definitely did his due diligence to two people I think it was in Virginia that were suing Steak and had to do with Drake, which he beat the case. So I'm gonna make that clear because everyone reports when shit happens, but we never never want us yeah, never want us over with that.
Speaker 3:He was using money because you know Steak is it's illegal in the States, so it's it's like a crypto based thing. So he was using that money to then bot his streams in like some extortions type of way. Is what they were suing. These people lost money with Steak and then also added in this weird Drake thing that he beat. But they had ties to this exact law firm that has done depositions on behalf of Rock Nation before. There's a lot of stuff. I'm not saying dirt is crazy, I'll put it that way. I can't verify all of it, nor even with the rant I just went on about Jay's business practices. I'm not even saying any of that is true, but there's there's some there's some dots in there that connected. Okay, that's all Dirt's not crazy.
Speaker 2:Yeah, I want to It's like, what how long was the It's only forty minutes, Okay, So I'm gonna sit down and watch that because I seemed like a couple maybe like five ten minute clips, but I'm gonna sit down and watch the whole thing.
Speaker 3:Listen, you brought up Buzzby. You thought that convenient timing. Somebody's bidding for a casino in Time Square, CEO's played ghetto games too. You think that just came out of fucking nowhere when Jay is in the middle of bidding for something like, right, come on, what are we doing? That didn't just come out of that. That woman just didn't go you know what? There was that one time, right, No, that happened at the exact moment it was supposed to happen.
Speaker 3:And if you look into Buzzby, and not only things with Jay, just in general, there's a lot of convenient timing. When he strikes at people. Now, that's awful, But I'm not saying Buzzby is the only one that's doing it. People that we admire do the same shit too. I'm not accusing Jay of that, but if somebody with evidence that Jay is like you said, we played defense, we played offense. Now, if I found out Jay was doing that, I'd be like, it checks out. You know, we're in the mud.
Speaker 1:Now.
Speaker 2:I'm not saying this impossible. I'm just saying I would need to see something that's I'm not okay that like that's it. Yeah, I just think it, and I you know, and I like, what what's ther is doing? He's definitely you know, doesn't seem to be like he's piecing together bullshit. I think a lot of the times, you know, certain things that you're having to be coincidences and things like that, and certain people that are connected to this are also connected to that. So I understand how that plays out when you put you know, the dramatic music behind it and you have photos and things that I know how it can come across. Great job, piece it together, well, great job. I just don't know if I am subscribing to the idea that the jay Z that I know is not sitting back somewhere like what Drake doing, not fuck that were canceling that. I just don't I don't believe that.
Speaker 3:I think there was probably some rap stuff. And this is me speculator. I want to make that very clear. When the Meek and Drake situated, there may have been some back and forth, but rapper type shit that happened that I can totally see. Now when you get into the fanatics Steak in that world and gaming commissions that do have alliances and Steak maybe being on the outside, now you're getting into a deeper, different territory thing than Jay saying, Yo, Meek, you got that information, get them that.
Speaker 3:I can see that being casual conversation. As all rappers, they're not businessmen, which all three of them are. But in that situation, this is some rapshit. Yeah. Now, when you get into fanatics and Steak, and I mean shout out to hard rock, the only one we fuck with, we may need to get in the mixed mall on behalf of hard rock and get busy AI sites. We gotta go. This is what you have to do in that world.
Speaker 2:Just start doing dirty shit? Is that what you alluding to? Who do we have to do? Who do we have to do? Some dirt on I'll call What's the dirt right now? We'll have a new video off this week.
Speaker 3:Well, as you know, I was at a very big R and B show over the weekend. There was thousands and thousands of women there that were there to see the people that were singing. But how I could compete and where I was getting my compliments was in the beard Basking lather kept me competitive with the beard oil. It was shining at that light. You could see it sh what is that's that's the basket lather beard of oil. It was the only way I was competing out there.
Speaker 3:Transform your routine to keep your beard looking its best, all in one set that helps you maintain a healthy, stylish, well groomed beard. It also includes shampoo, conditioner, bomb oil, all the things you need to compete out there. Fellas I'm telling you, it took me forever to find a really good beard oil and beard wash, and basket Lather is the one that I have found.
Speaker 2:One of the many reasons where we're outside of the product being great, one of the many reasons why we love basket Lather is that it is black owned and family operated. A dermatologists misdiagnosed Shane, who was the CEO. Her youngest sister misdiagnosed and was told that our hair may never go back. So the family decided that they were going to create a product to try to get everything back on track. So today her hair is flourishing amazing roots are beautiful. Shane and her mother research and formulated their own Scout and hair oil to stimulate growth and retain length. Explore viral bestsellers and products for healthy hair all types at basqueanlathercode dot com. That's Basque and latherco dot com.
Speaker 3:Moll, you know what's funny? What's that Rory? Hip Hop fans can literally debate about anything, so we do. That's very true, so we do on the show. From the best rapper alive to the best era of hip hop, to what's the best album?
Speaker 2:To who has the best verse? It's never ending conversations until you lose your mind. But thank god, Sprite is giving us a whole new argument. The Sprite Living track list is fifty songs that helped shape hip hop culture, from rap legends to the hottest artists carrying the hip hop towards today. But Rory, the coolest part isn't just the tracks, it's the stories behind them. We always like to talk about how rappers came up with bars and metaphors and things like that, the lyrics, the moments to impact.
Speaker 2:Check out the full Sprite Living track list and break down the stories behind your favorite bars at livingtrack List dot genius dot com. This is the Sprite Living track list.
Speaker 3:Obey your thirst, but nah, shit gets crazy, Like you know, obviously online gambling casinos is at the highest it's ever been when the government made that shit legal.
Speaker 2:M hm.
Speaker 3:Yet this is this is like fucking discovering sunlight at this point, So he is. It's a dirty fucking world where there will be some some type of overlap in the rap because you have people like a Drake who is a face of Steak, and you know they're working with the biggest people, and it just so happens that the biggest people are streamers and rappers, so they're gonna get involved in the mud with a lot of the ship. It's I don't know, I think with the AI site, like even when I watched it that Charlemagne sit down and am I the only one that doesn't like? I think it's a bombshell to be like that's sites AI, Like, yeah, okay, now what is the information true?
Speaker 1:Right?
Speaker 3:Yes, you can accurately say someone's doing a smear campaign like everyone else, But okay, it's an AI site, is it true? Right?
Speaker 2:That?
Speaker 3:Like they try to discredit Charlamyne's amazing argument a few weeks ago, all because one of his sources was an AI site. And now I agree that can't be a reputable like your evidence can't just be an AI site? But what about everything else he said? That doesn't throw it out the picture? So I don't know, Like even with the Gamma stuff that that I know, Larry Jackson is trying to figure out ensuing actively. Whoever did the Gamma smear campaign with all those AI sites? Get it be on offense in that, But I don't like, did it work? Do you look at Gamma different? No?
Speaker 2:I truly, even when I like sort of remember when that was happening, I don't look at From what I know, Gamma is probably one of the better labels to signed to if you're an artist.
Speaker 3:Mostly of shit? Are these AI bombshells like really working?
Speaker 2:Maybe we don't know if it may have affected or stopped a business move somewhere.
Speaker 3:I'm asking that's I'm not leading on to say they're not. I don't know me personally at this point. I haven't seen them like really destroy anything. It's just kind of just been noise in the midst of these backdoor games. The same way with the Buzzby Shit, what was what's the dirt? Uh?
Speaker 2:The piece that he put out? What was what was he basically trying to say that rock Nation or jay Z was behind.
Speaker 3:As far as when it comes to Drake with the lawsuit about the Drake using state money to buy his own streams, Okay, that to me would be the biggest one in regards to everything and certain depositions with Rock Nation lawyers, but again they represent Meg Thede Stallion, Like yeah, it's gonna all those are gonna connect. But having them also involved somehow to this stake lawsuit does raise eyebrows. No matter who you are of why you asking about Drake and depositions that are about Megae Stallion. Now we've all seen depositions justin Bieber probably is one of the funniest ones. Wayne. They asked questions that have nothing to do like that's a deposition I don't really fully understand the strategy. Maybe it is to get someone caught up in their own words to admit to something like yes or no, and then they can double back on that.
Speaker 3:But depositions have always asked stuff that has nothing to do with what we're being I don't even know what the word beat, but why we're here. So that's another thing where I don't know. Maybe YouTubers are leaning too much into that as a strong point, because I watched them ask Wayne the dumbest questions at his deposition that had nothing to do with why he was there. So the point that Wayn's lawyer was like, why are you asking this shit like this says nothing to do o we're here, So check it out with the state.
Speaker 2:Shit, wasn't that already? Isn't that case closed? With Drake just beat?
Speaker 3:From my understanding, apologies if I'm wrong. From my understanding, it was a week or two ago Drake did beat whatever that lawsuit was where he was accused of using Steak money to buy his dress. Now, I don't know where it landed with the two people that were suing Steak for losing the certain amount of money, But where Drake was tied into that was that he was using steak money for thoughts, which has nothing to do with two people from Virginia. That's why it's odd. That's why I understand why Dirk made the video, but I don't know what streaming was not.
Speaker 2:The reason why that doesn't make any sense to me is because do people not and obviously they, you know, because of Drake and O's relationship, They're gonna just think that.
Speaker 3:I'm caping for Drake.
Speaker 2:But an artist at the caliber of Drake, why would they be faking their streams? Do people not know that that would come to light eventually? And how that crazy? That would make Drake look.
Speaker 3:It's kind of back like is that worth the risk for an artist like Drake?
Speaker 2:Like? Do people think that that's worth the risk?
Speaker 3:It's I think it's kind of back to the other point I was making of jay Z realizing what the playing field is now and if this is how we're playing, all right, But I guess I gotta play this way. If everyone's bodding, it becomes industry standard. I don't know. I really can't answer.
Speaker 2:Yeah, but this is the guy that is calling out the body he did that he would start bodding.
Speaker 3:And I'm not caping for Drake Eith, I'm just going with the truth. When everyone lost all those streams in that like big sweep, Yeah, he stayed pretty consistent. They of course everyone's drops with the significance where some people's drop versus his was.
Speaker 2:Yeah, that's what I'm I just don't understand. I don't know if people understand that part of it. Liked the risk is not worth the reward for an artist like Drake to be anywhere doing any business. That would he would inflate his numbers or fake his numbers, knowing that one day that would come to light, because everything does.
Speaker 3:Like, I just don't know, but I mean, one could make the case that Drake he did that because he knows what's behind the curtain. I hate to use Trump as an example, but do you remember that first real debate with Hillary when he called Hillary out and said, all your donors don't pay taxes. That I know that because I cheat the system the same way your donors do, and you guys won't change the cold because if you were to change it, your donors would be pissed. So yeah, I'm using this the same shit, y'all are. I could see a case where Drake is finally calling it out in that way of like I know it to be true because I've kept the lights on a universal and I know what happens here. I know how records are pushed to where they're pushed. I could see that. And also I think there's artists that have their shit bought it and they don't know that their ship is being about it.
Speaker 2:Artists have had their Okay, well, if you don't know, you don't know. That's the whole college. I definitely think.
Speaker 3:Especially in the earlier stream farm wild wild West days where everything was like ironically in that weird town in Wisconsin I think it was, and then there was all that shit in Germany like India. Yeah, I think that was just regular practice for any artists. But it to me, it's almost like steroids. If everyone in the league is doing it, you still got to hit the ball. And now we're at the same playing field, like you're not this big because of the bots because everyone's using them and you can see the difference between every artist, so it's not needed.
Speaker 2:But yeah, I just I don't know, man, I just think that you know, and I get it. This all makes I guess for great conversation and things like that. But I just you know, I encourage people to just well, actually you can't ask people to use their own brain because some people don't have one, but you know, AI will provide one for them. AI will provide away.
Speaker 3:It's coming. You don't have to think, We'll think for you. Speaking of hope, you saw Ray Daniels friend of the show, I fucking Ray, but he said I think yesterday that he said jay Z album is done, and then rock Nation boasted today fake news.
Speaker 2:Ray, stop the cat man cut the ship. Ain't no jay Z album done. I don't know who you heard that from talking to somebody fed you bad dope.
Speaker 3:Man, because even that, like, I feel like if a jay Z album was done, there'd be about like four people that really know j being one of them Jay Guru, and then whoever produced it, right, and then he tells Wan and does like I just don't know, and no respect to Ray because Ray obviously is very much an insider, and I just with Jay, I think it's a little different very who knows and who doesn't know when something is done.
Speaker 2:Yeah, no, there's no there's no jay Z album though.
Speaker 3:But I don't know. Does that add to what's the dirt as far as rock Nation really trying to stop so much information about them, whether it's good, bad, or and different. Like not to say Ray has a great platform, but that's the say something that rock Nation and jay Z are replying to just ravying like yo album done. It has credence to them paying attention to everything no matter where where you're at, whether it's a GQ interview.
Speaker 2:Or you're stream They just have a social media team.
Speaker 3:Yeah, but that has to go. That has to come from the top. It does, does it. Yeah, if I'm if I'm a social media manager at rock Nation, I'm not about to say the album isn't done if I don't know for that ship unless jay unless somebody, if does somebody next to Jaysons please post that that album is not done. I'm not just going to be in the office like I heard shit. Yes, No, that that definitely came from.
Speaker 2:It had to be a conversation that No, Cruise did not post that, but that definitely was a conversation like cut it out. I'm like, yeah, you can, you can step on that. That's that's bullshit.
Speaker 3:Well I'm glad he did because I would have I would have taken the hope and ran with it. I mean again, I don't think Ray is live. I'm sure to your point, someone just gave him bad dope, but I would think if it wasn't.
Speaker 2:Said Ray said, Drake's career was done. He apologized. He's gonna apologize for this one too. He's he's gonna apologize for saying this jay Z album.
Speaker 3:I can't. We've all gotten bad dope, and it does. It does fuck with on credibility. But sometimes that is what we were told by credible people and things change. It happens, So I can't judge everyone that is given false information out there with good intentions. Now people that literally just make sit up just so they can get a click.
Speaker 2:But I know they're gonna try to get Who say, J Cole committed career suicide and then you went to the show and apologize. I didn't apologize, huh me? Going was the apology?
Speaker 3:Yeah? Was that the apology? Yeah? I mean I feel like saying sorry is just words like actions and changed behavior is real apology, and I feel like that's that's what you did. I still stand on that though Chris suicide, we were at a sold out show in the Bark plays.
Speaker 2:He still has his fan base. Honestly, his fans was gonna like not support him. What I said Carrier seuicide, I meaning like nobody's gonna look at him the way they once did, like as far as like an elite MC like.
Speaker 3:We've had this. I think that Thomas, I think everyone in that building. I think people have moved on and just if Cole makes good music, they still look at him as all.
Speaker 2:Right, So me saying he committed career suicide, is there any coincidence in the fact that the album he put out post Rap Battle was his shortest lived album on the top one hundred. Is there any coincidence to that?
Speaker 3:You have to add in context is important. What's the context Billboard in general with rap right now? A double album, A lot.
Speaker 2:Of things are supposed to be one of the big three, He's a lot of the biggest rap in the world.
Speaker 3:I'm sure. I'm sure someone screamed at their speakers right now. I'm sure there's probably Drake stats that are reflecting how weird Billboard is compared to what he's done before. Like, we're in a different time, so I can't compare. I can't compare the numbers things are different.
Speaker 2:I'm just saying this is his shortest lived album in the top one hundred.
Speaker 3:But I don't think that there's anything to do with people going, oh, it's because he apologized. I just I don't think that's a factor at all. I just don't.
Speaker 2:So what do you think is the fact that the music wasn't good?
Speaker 3:I think some people I think that. I think the disc one is great, but dealing with a double disc these times, yeah, I don't know. The staying do help because there's more music to stream, yes, and no. I felt like that that was a thing before, but now without like a focus track, it doesn't.
Speaker 2:Do the same focus tracks.
Speaker 3:Was Janie Shut the fuck Up? Not a focused track?
Speaker 2:Yeah?
Speaker 3:I think you don't think that's the thing. Focus tracks? No, focus tracks are the thing for sure. Yeah, if you don't have one of those, you're not gonna stay on Billboard that long in the streaming era, right, You're just not right now. I'm agreeing with you. To me, that's why I give don Toliver so much credit. Outside of loving that album, I cannot believe in this era how long he stayed on it, Like it's insane. That does not happen anymore. So that's why I look at Donna as one of them now, because it's like, that's not happening for the biggest artists in the world. It's hard to stay on Billboard, so is it? Yeah? I see?
Speaker 3:I wish I readily had the Drake numbers in front of you. You got a computer right in front you. Let's let it up. This according to AI, so it has to be true. Iceman has spent twelve consecutive weeks at top ten on Billboard? Does it have a focus truck? Does focus track? All?
Speaker 2:Right?
Speaker 3:How long did Sexy Songs for you? I think that's an incredible album, But it's tough to have album stay on on Billboard like that and a rap for rappers right now, it's like, statistically, yes, it's very difficult and cold doing twenty five tracks of raps. Yeah, that does have a lot of staying power in Zara, they to say, But does that matter when you're selling out arenas every fucking night? Oh?
Speaker 2:His fans love them, So yeah, I'm not mad at that. I totally understand that.
Speaker 3:I do think the Drake Emo album would do more than twelve consecutive weeks. I think that.
Speaker 2:Oh that do Odyssey numbers. That would do Odyssey numbers?
Speaker 3:For sure, they should shoot all the videos on that camera. Yeah, it's seventy m Drake and Travis Barker out of here. Can we make a mall goths for the artworks plan? God Planning? Is that god Plan? Is fucking MySpace making a comeback? No? Yeah, they're trying to rely.
Speaker 2:Why not if we don't, do we need more platforms to fucking.
Speaker 3:Like I still don't even have threads? Yes, I can't. Like, so do we need my Space? We bring it back my Space now? Like what I mean? Listen, it's how we all learned the code, Like we can make cool profiles and ship.
Speaker 2:I don't know, man, I just think it's okay to just kind of have like nostalgia with things and just remember the time.
Speaker 3:It would be kind of funny if if Meta on Instagram really wanted to shake up all the friendship groups in the world and add a top eight to Instagram, that would ship. That would shake some ship up.
Speaker 2:All these insecure gen z kids if they had a top eight number three, your top eight friends, that I would go nuts. Yeah, it just doesn't. It don't work the same though with Instagram, though, that's just like.
Speaker 3:Eight, top five make it even worse and everyone MySpace went from top eight to like top fifty because yeah, people started to get sensitive.
Speaker 2:Don't don't put me in forty seven. I don't even want to be in your top forty seven. What if you forty nine? If forty nine, and who would have been fifty one? Yeah, like who's right out store? That's like I want to know who I was competing with.
Speaker 3:Yeah, that's funny. Top eight would shake that would shake up the game.
Speaker 2:So when they say bring back my Space, like as far as what like a new, newer version of MySpace or it's the the old MySpace but now obviously will have apps on our phone.
Speaker 3:MySpace owners are planning a major relaunch of the platform to combat modern algorithm fatigue and refocus on music discovery and personal customization. I think that's cool. Well, no release dates set. This aims to bring back nostalgia user driven experience of the two thousand social media era. I mean, for a select group that could be fun. I would make one. I'm not doing threads, but I'd make the my Space.
Speaker 2:I don't know, man, I think I think this this kind of this kind of like thing would only make Instagram want to like reconfigure there they layout? Yeah, because I think Instagram is still going to be king.
Speaker 3:But yeah, was it? Was it? Tom MySpace? Yeah, we don't give Tom enough credit. He was a tech ceo, trailblazer, changed the world, but didn't steal our data and become literally part of the illuminati like everyone else. He's like the only grassroots, down to earth social media inventor that like we could trust, like he hasn't. He hasn't won against data. Didn't they problem? And I'm not saying if different Zuckerberg on what was he and what was he? Yeah?
Speaker 3:Facebook changed the game. Facebook is kind of the reason we're here, got you Okay, Like it's like Stalin Hitler and like Zuckerberg is up.
Speaker 2:There, Tom might that's ten toes Tom.
Speaker 3:Yeah, that's that's a man who people stood.
Speaker 2:Ten toes for the for the culture, Tom Tom. That's that's Tommy Tinto's right there. Yeah, that's definitely Tommy ten toes. Yeah he didn't, he didn't. He didn't sell us out. Yeah, he had the same uh, same photo.
Speaker 3:Man, same guy, same guy. They just wanted some friends, that's it. Man, I just want to kick it with y'allah, because I mean, look, Craigslist got dark, like, everything just went in a really weird place. Not Tin told Tommy that's why maybe maybe my space could you know, could bring the game back, bring us all back back to earth.
Speaker 2:I don't know, man, I'm calling him Tin toes Tommy, them coming back might have been him him selling it all.
Speaker 3:He's not. He's not building rockets that here in the Pacific right now.
Speaker 2:You don't know that. We don't know what Tommy been doing.
Speaker 3:That is true. He doesn't own it anymore. Oh, that's definitely over.
Speaker 2:He gave the game, got off the game. Carlito's Yeah, he just needed one more, one more. He needed one more run. Tom needed one more running. He got out. No, no, no, no, no, I'm.
Speaker 3:Not fucking with that. He sold. He's Frank mathis man.
Speaker 2:They stepped on on that ship. Huh oh, yeah, they stepped all on that. That ship is all that's not pure. That might be owned by sucker ber. Yeah, that's not pure. That's not this mind space, that's not pure. They stepped all that. Who owned friends her? We never heard his name either. I wasn't that I wasn't dead deep into the streets.
Speaker 3:That for better for worse, I guess maybe for better. At least we do know all the CEOs now because the CEOs used to be able to hide and do dirty ship. Yeah right, they're still doing dirty shit. At least they're throwing in our faces saying no, no, no, no, you can't do anything. At least I know what you look like. Yeah, black Rock. Still, who's that guy? Come come to the front row. That's I need to see you next.
Speaker 2:Thing that would never happen, That would never happen. Why are you not in front of Congress? Oh you are Congress exactly. I forgot about that part. But no, we should make a new royam All MySpace at least hip of fan photos.
Speaker 3:Who's in the top eight? I mean with gangs out here, you impeached, it's just us. We could we put like pictures of bikes and ship up there.
Speaker 2:Yeah, you know we could do that. I have a little fun with it. Yeah, we could created we create this my space for the for the show. Yeah, but no, I wouldn't. I wouldn't. I'm not creating personal one though. What's our MySpace on? What's our focus track? I don't know, maybe something from the fall off. No, we gotta put the Marason wrap up there. Her Derek, this I feel like has to be our first MySpace on what is what's the What's join them on? The full of buns Buns Rod Blues Buns?
Speaker 3:What is it? Something like that? Right? Was it Bunch Road? That's the guy that grabbed me outside of the Brown Show to bring me up? Bunch Bunce came and got buns. Definitely came and got me.
Speaker 2:That was the neighborhood, right, wasn't it Bunch Road Blues, Bunce Road Blues.
Speaker 3:Yeah?
Speaker 2:Yeah, my future and sim's not record smile. I fuck with the off on that ship.
Speaker 3:Before we get out of here page. Do we have voicemails? You've got mail?
Speaker 4:Hey, guys, I need your opinion on this. My name is Daisy. I've been with my husband for seven years and.
Speaker 3:I'm going to leave him. So we have a daughter.
Speaker 4:And we got married even though I didn't want to get married. I never wanted to get married in my life, but we got married because I loved him, and the circumstances around it was one of his parents passed away and he couldn't travel to the funeral because he's not a citizen, so there was all of that anyway, Now he has all of his papers and he's good to go, but he's not a planner, like he didn't plan for what his career is going to look like he had a whole year to plan it out where he wasn't working and I was paying. I am paying all the bills and literally Carno rent, insurance everything myself. And I was doing this while I was pregnant too, And now I just feel fully taken for granted, and all he wants to do is just like hunch on me. He just wants to do it like every day, a million times a day, and he doesn't take me out on dates.
Speaker 4:He doesn't take me on a dating Over a year for Mother's Day, he didn't get me anything or say Happy Mother's Day. For my birthday, it was the same thing. So I asked him to leave the house. And I want to know, is it even worth it when he leaves the house because he's moving out, is it even worth it to try and rectify this again. I never wanted to get married in my life. I never saw I never dreamt of a wedding or anything like that. I always thought I would just have my spiritual partner and a child. So what do you think.
Speaker 3:I'm sorry that you're going through this and that you got a ninety day fiance, but yeah, he got all his his papers. Now, yeah, it sounds like he just he just used you, and I respect it of something you didn't want to do. And the only way you probably could do the funeral was the right paperwork, and you held that down. But if you didn't want to get married, why the fuck he harping.
Speaker 2:On it out?
Speaker 3:Yeah?
Speaker 2:I mean, yeah, you said it. You never wanted that, You never thought about that. He was seeing yourself with just a spiritual partner and a child and things like that. And then listen, you know that's what you need. If that's what you saw for yourself. I mean, you went against it, tried something different. It's not making you happy. You want to get out of it, then you know what you want to do. You sound like you already know you've thought about it. You're not happy. This doesn't sound like a guy that has made you happy in a very long time. Then yes, absolutely get out of it.
Speaker 2:Go separate ways. Life is too short. Life is too fragile. Go be happy. Yeah, and you're already paying everything, Like, go be happy, get out of that, get out of the situation. That's that's not a situation for warning. But what a stand up woman though, held it down even while she was pregnant. All the bills and all he want to do is come home and hump? Where is he from? Can you call back and tell us where he's from? I think I kind of know where he's from.
Speaker 2:I don't want to say it, I'm say it. I can't say he's not Jerry without a.
Speaker 3:Yo. This dude is na Jerry. I apologize if this is offensive, but the first thought I had when she started talking, this man is Nigeria.
Speaker 2:The Nigerian nightmare is what he is. Yeah, you got to call us back. We won't play it, but just let us know where he's from. Like, we don't have to play it again, but please, her name is Daisy, Daisy, Daisy, Please call back and just let us know where he's from, because I just want to. I just want to see if I'm correcting what I'm thinking.
Speaker 3:Yeah, did you ever watch the ninety Day Fiance? I've seen some of them. Yeah, I had I had a homegirl that didn't do ninety Day Fiance but got paid by somebody to get their their paperwork. Yeah, and it didn't it didn't work out. She was promised more payments. I was like, you really thought once he got.
Speaker 2:Like he thought that the backing was coming back and was coming yeah back in.
Speaker 3:And now she's on the hook that people coming by the crier. Where is he? Yea yeah, is at work? All that shit for like eight grand? Like she got hold no easy. He had like promise like twenty five or some shit like I was always twenty twenty five. Yeah, ten is like the lowest. Yeah. Do you ever watch a kill Tony? Yeah, my world's colliding. When big Ed from ninety Day Fiance was plucked out of the basket for kill Tony, it was like this weekend or some Yeah, bro big Ed is doing stand up comedy with no neck mhm is funny? No, No, it was he bombed like he was not fucking It was bad. Uh yeah.
Speaker 3:Big He is self aware now though, He's like, I'm not really good at this love thing and I'm like, yeah, we've been watching you for yeah we saw ten years.
Speaker 2:Yeah, well that's good that he now he's you know he's come to that.
Speaker 3:Would you do that fiance? Yeah, but if like he felt like you guys really loved each other, but like do the show, No, it'd be funny.
Speaker 2:I'm not doing that. I can never do that. It's not real to me. To me, it's not real. I'm not saying you can't fall in love with somebody. And you know in ninety days again, I just me, I just don't. I don't.
Speaker 3:I don't see that. Do you remember the Nigerian that married the fat white lady from like Nashville because he wanted to move to America to meet Donald Trump.
Speaker 2:She went to his village in Nigeria and he had a fucking shrine of Donald Trump. And he straight up said in the conventions like I just want to be Trump. Did they get Yeah, and believe it or not, it didn't work out.
Speaker 3:There. They're currently not together. Did he meet Trump? That I don't know, but like he dressed like him, like he had the exact red tie suit like but like Nigerian fit like wait too tight. And they interviewed like brothers and his family and like every time they try to get a truthful word out of Eddy of his family, they would just roll their eyes in the camera. This is not, this is not. I don't know what you do.
Speaker 2:Know what don't you tell you if you want to marry him, be go do your thing? Man, I wouldn't but whatever it is. And the big white lady was like, I don't understand why his mother won't accept me.
Speaker 3:You you use your mind. You He was like twenty one and she was like, fifty's it's not approving of it.
Speaker 2:That's some shit I can't do like that ship is just for us for jokes, man, I can't do that.
Speaker 3:You watched Obsession was oh my god. Yeah, So when when Damarics gets back? Demarics back on Thursday, which gives me enough time to watch it so we can do do a deep dive. But I was at the edge of my seat. You said you were going to come back with with notes from my chat? Oh about about what?
Speaker 2:Yeah, So when Damarics gets back then we'll we'll we'll talk about it.
Speaker 3:Also, is there truth to this Nipsey album coming out on Friday? Is that a fact? I'm not sure. I saw stuff online. I couldn't verify it in the time that we started recording, But I mean, I know Nip had a lot of music that was recorded, So you know, I'm not always into post death albums, but posthumous Nip had so much music that, Yeah, I feel like it's probably worth putting an album together.
Speaker 2:I'm not I don't mind it if it's as long as it's done right. Music is obviously, I hope music is good and all of the business affairs, as far as the state, the family and all of that is taken care of.
Speaker 3:Yeah, I mean I think Sam probably yeah, as that all under controls. I mean, from what we've seen, he's done an incredible job with the estate and the legacy. And I mean, you know, Nip worked with fifteen hundreds and nothing rants like a lot of music. That whole internal crew. I can't see a world where they would ever put anything out without feeling like this is something that he would want to.
Speaker 2:Nip represents him and it would be happy with it.
Speaker 3:Yes. Yeah, if if Nip was running around just with like random producers and like everyone had random vocals, and I'd be like that, that could get what was that? Tupac? Are you still do? Like yeah, that could get odds. But I feel like this is the internal, the internal la crew that that would make sure that you know that that.
Speaker 2:Was I mean, hopefully I want to hear it if it's coming this Friday, definitely I want to hear it.
Speaker 3:I mean listen as a NIP fan is and nothing to Do is passing. I thought Victory Lap was was his best work, but I think NIP was only getting better. Yeah, so you know, whatever he recorded around his passing, I'm sure was probably some of the best music that he was working on. His Victory Lap certainly was that in my opinion. But yeah, so you know, hopefully we get ANIP album on Friday, and that that is a fact and not just some internet rumor shit.
Speaker 2:But Donelle Jones confirmed that he has a verses with Joe coming. Well, Complex doesn't seem to think that that's happening already. I mean, Donnelle Jones announced of verses with Joe for August twentieth, and Complex posted basically saying they didn't know anything about that.
Speaker 3:That was the first they heard about it. So no disrespect to Donnelle Jones and Joe. I think they both great music. And just how long is that that verse is going to be? M just that gent question. I don't know if they have twenty, No twenty that people care care about. Yeah, not for so I just can't see Complex pivoting to that after game and YG as yeah I can't. Yeah, And you had him as one of a on Patreon. That's that's out today of uh does worry no black people? Which I'm scared to even look at the comments. So I didn't have Joe, that was g Depp. You still don't know black people, all right?
Speaker 3:In my defense Patreon dot com forest, because Maul was in the do you Know Black People? Series online with this couple right before Martin Luther King. We decide to put together I put together a bunch of whites, and then Maul did the same.
Speaker 2:Yeah with me and well, me and Demarus Damaris had more than me. She had some sprinkle in there, all right.
Speaker 3:Had I known the route y'all were going, like you showed me g Debt after ten years in prison, I didn't recognize him.
Speaker 2:You think I wouldn't recognize Anne Hathaway ten years from Devilish Products.
Speaker 3:I forgot how much you know whites? Yeah?
Speaker 2:I know the whites, man, I know my whites. Loved the whites loved my whites.
Speaker 3:Yeah, I was that was a rough I was evensidering when I left, like yop, maybe we just like we scrapped that whole patron. This is a bad problem for me to now intens advise people to go watch me crash and burn of like look at this culture bulture. No, I didn't recognize Loom that way. Oh my god, that was so funny. That was so funny, you know I was crashing. That was part of it.
Speaker 2:I wanted to do that because it's like why you should know Loon when you see him, and you should know g Depp. It's like today, like if g Depp walked in here, you I wouldn't expect you to really know who he was.
Speaker 3:Gef solo album is one of my favorite solo bad boy albums. I just after the robbery and everything I did today like today a picture of him today every day. G Depp is like one of my favorite depressing that's on my depressing playlist. That was part of it.
Speaker 2:That was part of me being funny, like it's still the person, but it's like a current picture.
Speaker 3:A cigarette for breakfast just for beginners, cried for lunch and slept for dinner, Like that's that's my guy just didn't recognize him, that's all. He looked like the song. Yeah, yeah, yeah, it's it. Uh, this was cool. We will be back yesterday. Patreon episode available now if you If you want to subscribe and watch me crash and burn, I think it might be worth.
Speaker 2:The subscribe Patreon dot com Forward slash, Rory and Maul and we.
