Speaker 1:Hello gorgeous, it's Lala Kent. Welcome to Untraditionally Lala. Hello gorgeous, welcome to the bonus episode of Untraditionally Lala. I still have a main J's. J's on my feet. J's on my feet. Janet and Jared! I want to venture into pop culture. There's a bunch of them, like Babbel and stuff. I need someone in the room though. I zone out. I won't learn anything. I'll read a whole fucking chapter of a book and be like, what happened? I was thinking about my future boyfriend and what he might look like.
Speaker 2:Fuck.
Speaker 1:All right. Pop culture news. I'm so excited for pop culture with you.
Speaker 2:I love pop culture.
Speaker 1:I'm saving the best that I was the most shooketh by for last. Okay. Kim K and Kanye keep distance at North's first concert. I saw this.
Speaker 2:Hey, hold on.
Speaker 1:What do you mean her first concert?
Speaker 3:I know, she's 13. She performed solo? Yeah, it was kind of like auto-tune. It was giving a little bit of like K-pop vibes.
Speaker 2:No, but what was it? Not what was she doing.
Speaker 1:Not what was it.
Speaker 2:She was singing.
Speaker 1:But where?
Speaker 3:She was singing in Chicago at some like smaller theater. And Kim and Kanye both were in like balcony seats on the opposite sides of each other supporting her. She had the blue pigtails and kind of like a flashy light set, but she was kind of doing, it was kind of like EDM.
Speaker 1:K-pop vibes is like the clip I saw. She did.
Speaker 3:I mean, she seemed to have confidence standing up there for being as young as she is.
Speaker 1:Like, you know?
Speaker 4:Yeah.
Speaker 1:She loves the blue hair.
Speaker 2:Yeah.
Speaker 3:And the whole, like, I think she was like, I don't, I assume they're not real, but like fake piercings on her face.
Speaker 1:I think she's cool.
Speaker 2:Yeah.
Speaker 1:A lot of people think it's weird that she's so young and like, looking like that.
Speaker 2:Yeah. Like what were we doing at 13?
Speaker 4:We were doing crazy stuff trying to, it's just like generational. Like this is what her, that age is doing.
Speaker 1:I was going to Abercrombie and Fitch buying skirts that were far too short and tops that were too small to get my non-existent boobs to show and wearing the most orange makeup you've ever seen in your life and making everyone call me Paris because I wanted to be Paris Hilton.
Speaker 4:Wow.
Speaker 1:So I can't say that I was like playing with Barbie dolls.
Speaker 2:Yeah. You know?
Speaker 1:Oh, and we were stealing my friend's mom's car.
Speaker 2:Yeah.
Speaker 4:Oh.
Speaker 1:Going to get Chinese food.
Speaker 2:I was smoking cigarettes trying to be like Nicole Richie. Like, it was.
Speaker 1:We would have been the best of friends.
Speaker 2:We would have been the best of friends, yeah.
Speaker 1:I wouldn't have participated in the smoking of the cigarettes, but I would have called you Nicole for sure.
Speaker 2:Yeah. Everyone had to call me Nicole.
Speaker 1:I think that's about the time I smoked cigarettes for the first.
Speaker 2:Time, too. What the fuck?
Speaker 3:Well, my dad smoked, so he smoked the Cools with a K, and so I think I was ripping those.
Speaker 1:I was sneaking those.
Speaker 3:Not, like, on a regular basis, just to be cool in front of my friends.
Speaker 4:Yeah.
Speaker 1:I mean, what do we expect? This girl's never going to have a normal life ever. Her parents are two of the most famous humans on the face of the earth and probably on other planets as well.
Speaker 2:Yeah.
Speaker 1:Like, I could see extraterrestrials being like, you know, kind of like in that movie.
Speaker 2:What is it?
Speaker 1:Spice World. Are you the Spice Girls? We are.
Speaker 3:I was just happy to see that the two of them could be in the same room. Even if they were across from each other, they could both be in the same room to support her. So it seems like they really don't like each other.
Speaker 4:I want to know what she's doing and who the audience is though, because she canceled, she was doing another tour date and it got canceled. I saw like earlier this month with some, some 21 year old rapper.
Speaker 2:Oh, and they had to like make an announcement.
Speaker 1:That it was canceled. I know Molly Santana because she is on Drake's newer album and he's like, Molly Santana, no Hannah Montana. And she says it like 12 times. I'm like, Oh my God, I'm going to go insane. Like this is who we pulled to put on this track. All I have to do is say, Lala Kent, not Lala Anthony, Lala Kent, not Lala Anthony over and over again. And I'm on the fucking Drake's album.
Speaker 2:Yeah.
Speaker 1:Right. Give it a shot. I, what you, you don't understand cause you don't have a co-parent, um, Yeah, can you imagine? I mean, you're going to have to be in rooms like that. I was.
Speaker 2:Yeah.
Speaker 1:At orientation. I hadn't seen him in a really long time. How'd he look? I could not even tell you what he had on or what he looked like. And we actually spoke and like sat together. And I still could not tell you how he looked or what he had on.
Speaker 3:Is Ocean like surprised when she sees you guys together? Like, didn't she ask once if you know him?
Speaker 1:Yeah, when she was like three. I had missed a photo that I didn't because I deleted every trace of him on my phone. Except for one pickleball video because I look really good in it. And I'm like, I'm not deleting this. Are you kidding? But she goes, you know, my dad. Yeah, she really didn't. I mean, she went off and did her thing while we all sat at orientation. And then he went and got her and brought her over. And I don't think she thought anything of it. That's good.
Speaker 3:Honestly, it's just good, though, that you guys can't. I mean, you're going to have to be in the same room together for. you know, graduations, recitals, all this stuff.
Speaker 1:It's not often, but I think if you can just, even if you're not sitting together and you're on opposite sides of the room, here's the thing that Northwest has to deal with. The freaking media. Yeah. Constantly doing the clickbait. I wonder how they deal with that with their kids. Could you imagine being that famous? It sounds suffocating.
Speaker 3:Yeah. I mean, have you seen her TikTok? It's like Kim and North, but it's really just North. And it's just her pretty much in the blue hair, kind of like mouthing and dancing to like music.
Speaker 1:Okay. So like what every 13 year old is doing?
Speaker 2:Yeah.
Speaker 3:But she has like a couple million followers and their comments are on.
Speaker 1:And I feel like I would turn the comments off if I were them. I would turn comments off too.
Speaker 4:Yeah.
Speaker 3:But it's a lot of like... just negative stuff in the comments. And I'm like, I think I would just.
Speaker 1:Turn them off.
Speaker 2:Yeah.
Speaker 1:Can you turn them off on TikTok? I think so.
Speaker 2:You can.
Speaker 1:I love a comment off situation. Yeah. Dancing with the stars. Are you guys watching this season? No, I only watched.
Speaker 2:Like one of his friends.
Speaker 1:Oh.
Speaker 2:I think I'm going to see Julia Stiles.
Speaker 4:Oh.
Speaker 2:She's back from Juilliard, baby. She's here to save the last dance. I can't wait for it.
Speaker 1:She's on it?
Speaker 4:Yeah.
Speaker 1:And I think both the girls, their sisters, and I'm blanking on their name. They have the reality show. They're all super hot. Oh, Nader. But there's two of them on it.
Speaker 2:It's just one of them.
Speaker 1:Oh, Sarah Jane is one person. It's not Sarah and Jane.
Speaker 2:It's just Sarah Jane Nader. And she's a woman partner.
Speaker 4:We saw them filming their show when we were in Miami for Miami Swim Week.
Speaker 2:And we're like, what is this reality show? Because it was kind of like jarred to see.
Speaker 1:You know, they put Baskin on that show.
Speaker 4:Yeah.
Speaker 1:For their second season.
Speaker 3:Yeah, I texted Baskin when we saw them filming because we had better seats than them.
Speaker 2:Not to brag. Yeah.
Speaker 1:Wow. See, I thought that was Sarah and Jane. So one of them is the professional.
Speaker 2:Yeah. I.
Speaker 1:Okay. I have not seen one episode of Dancing with the Stars. I have. I watched, obviously, when Ariana did it.
Speaker 3:And then I'll pop in if there's like one that goes viral.
Speaker 1:Oh, but will you like tune in or will you just look up clips? No, just look up clips. Okay, well, that doesn't count.
Speaker 3:We went to a taping for Ariana when I was... like seven months pregnant and you can't get up to pee and you can't have water bottles or anything.
Speaker 1:So I didn't know that.
Speaker 3:So I go in like wobbling in, sit down. And like, also we were in like, like the front row or friends section. And we actually switched with people that were in the back row because the front row, you have to like look excited, clap, stand up, sit down, stand up, sit down. And I was like, uh-uh, I can't do this. And the girls behind us, I was like, do you want this?
Speaker 1:And they were like... They were like so excited and thrilled. And I was like, well, I want to sit the.
Speaker 3:Whole time because I'm not getting this ass up and down.
Speaker 1:Every 30 seconds. Yeah, am I making the rate of an extra? Because I'm going to need some coin to be the show pony clapper.
Speaker 2:You just have to do it.
Speaker 1:No.
Speaker 2:But it's intense. The performance part is fun to watch, but.
Speaker 4:it's one of those shows where they like have so many things happen in between that it drags out.
Speaker 1:For oh like everyone's storylines four hours i.
Speaker 4:Feel like oh yeah it was because it wasn't a live taping i went to a live taping too and my friend chris shell was in a season prior and i was like it was so fun to see her do her dance and then the other parts it's like okay when are we done you know like she was done dancing and then you just wait and wait and wait and wait but It's good to show Ted DVR and.
Speaker 2:Like fast forward through.
Speaker 1:Yeah, that is nice.
Speaker 2:Yeah.
Speaker 1:I love a good fast forward through.
Speaker 3:I think I'll tune in the road to see Sierra Miller. That's your last name, right?
Speaker 2:Yeah.
Speaker 1:Sierra from summer house. Um, she's doing.
Speaker 3:Dancing with the stars and I feel like she's going to be really good. Like, I just feel like she has rhythm dancing experience. Not that I know of, but I just feel like on the show when I have seen her, like, dance little bits at a time or whatever. She could learn how to do the routine.
Speaker 1:And crush it. I feel like she's athletic enough. Like, she's got a body.
Speaker 4:And they have a couple of real dancers.
Speaker 2:Like, Jenna Dewan is.
Speaker 4:who I guess she was, she's Channing Tatum's ex, and she's like a real dancer. They met on some, I think like a Step Up movie or whatever.
Speaker 1:Oh, I love Step Up.
Speaker 2:Harry Shum Jr. Who's that? What was he from? Was he on Glee? Yeah.
Speaker 1:He's so cute.
Speaker 2:But they're both like really good dancers.
Speaker 1:Didn't he date the girl with the stutter on Glee? Remember she had a stutter? I never watched Glee. Oh, I was the biggest fan of Glee.
Speaker 2:Me too, I was a Gleek fan.
Speaker 1:I have the albums on my phone.
Speaker 2:Yes, I know that's right.
Speaker 3:This does not like add up for you.
Speaker 1:I feel like.
Speaker 2:Yes, it does. I think it checks out so, so hard for Lala.
Speaker 1:Yeah, I loved Glee. We would order a Papa John's pizza and drink Franzia wine in those like... I'm very familiar. Do you remember like the pizza places that had those like red cups that were like plastic? You know what I'm talking about? about? We would drink Franzia out of those and eat Papa John's pizza. Why is Papa John's coming up so much?
Speaker 2:I just want to say second Papa John's reference, okay?
Speaker 1:There was a moment that they had like this cheeseburger pizza that would be like cheeseburger pizza and fucking glee. Wow. And white Franzia.
Speaker 4:Franzia.
Speaker 1:Franzia for those who want it. I used to slap the bag quite a bit in college. Oh, yeah.
Speaker 2:Oh, my God.
Speaker 1:I actually would like to try that now and see if it's like... Still slaps?
Speaker 4:Yeah.
Speaker 2:Did the test of time.
Speaker 1:If it's like disgusting now that I've had some good wine in my life.
Speaker 2:A little Chateauneuf-du-Pape.
Speaker 1:I think it might give you a little headache. Yeah, probably. It would have to be, yeah, a day where like.
Speaker 3:I go from drinking only Avaline that's like the cleanest and sulfate free and all that.
Speaker 1:You don't need to drink Franzi anymore. So like, why even test it out?
Speaker 4:Yeah.
Speaker 1:It's like being like, I can afford expensive vodka, but let's try the Taka. Yeah. Like, why? You know? Yeah, you're right. I'm not going to try it. I think it's a bad idea. This is the one I'm most excited about. And when I read this, because this is the first time I'm hearing about it, I'm clutching my fucking pearls. Phaedra Parks from Atlanta is dating her Traders castmate CT, like the guy from The Challenge, right? They watched the Emmys together. I have to look this up.
Speaker 1:Tell me more. They looked really cute at the Emmys. Okay, so I didn't watch Traitors, so I don't know who CT is.
Speaker 2:To be honest. Yeah, me and Jana are the worst.
Speaker 4:I said something about Traitors, because we just saw Dylan Efron at a premiere, and Efron was, like, freaking out about it. I was like, oh, that's Zac Efron's younger brother. And they're like, that's Dylan Efron, like, the hottest man from Traitors. And I was like, which one is Traitors again? And they're like, you don't watch Traitors. But, so we missed CT and the challenge.
Speaker 1:I don't love competition shows.
Speaker 2:Yeah.
Speaker 1:But Traitors is actually very good. I didn't watch this last season, but what was that? Season four?
Speaker 4:Yeah.
Speaker 1:You guys. CT has plumped up a bit. Yeah. He looked like a bigger guy.
Speaker 4:Yeah.
Speaker 1:I heard that. They look great together.
Speaker 3:This was kind of exposed on Jeff Lewis Live. Phaedra came and did Jeff Lewis's show. And he was like, I heard you're going to the Emmys. And CT was in the green room. So he was like, I'm seeing somebody in the green room. Am I allowed to say it? And she was kind of mum about it and was like, not really answering and was like, maybe I am.
Speaker 1:You know, I feel like she was trying to keep it a little.
Speaker 3:under wraps even though they walked the emmys red carpet together when were the emmys this past weekend or yeah right this past weekend or well they're split.
Speaker 4:Into three days so this was the creative arts emmy so it was two nights over the weekend yeah the creative arts the uh telecast of like the main scripted shows are this monday the 14th.
Speaker 1:So like the real emmys are on the 14th and then the one that like vanderpump was yes that was what happened yeah You guys, I'm all about this couple. Why am I so obsessed? And she's on Atlanta now.
Speaker 4:Oh, she's back? Yes.
Speaker 1:I just finished this past season and it... I mean, I died for Fade. She's so iconic. She's the queen of one-liners.
Speaker 2:Yeah.
Speaker 3:Like, everything she says comes out hilarious.
Speaker 1:You know, Phaedra gave me my Bravo Award for... the shadiest Bravo Liberty when I won and she was so lovely. And I was like, the fact that this is being given to me by you is like the highest passing of the torch. Yes.
Speaker 2:Yeah.
Speaker 3:She's like probably up there for me for like most iconic housewives of all time.
Speaker 2:I mean, didn't she have a funeral home? Yes. She loves dead people. Yeah.
Speaker 1:It's like her most favorite thing. They talk about it a lot on Atlanta.
Speaker 4:Yeah.
Speaker 2:And a lawyer. What can't she do?
Speaker 1:She's a multifaceted talent.
Speaker 3:And her ass is real. Imagine going in for a funeral and it's her and it's just one liner after one liner and you like can't not laugh.
Speaker 1:I know. And you would feel, I feel like in her presence, it would add some levity to the desk.
Speaker 2:She's probably so good at it.
Speaker 3:Yeah.
Speaker 1:My family does cremation. Is that the word?
Speaker 2:Yeah.
Speaker 3:You mean like burn them up like that's what you guys want or you guys own a cremation place yeah a crematorium and if so how do I not know about this that's what we that's what we want we want.
Speaker 4:To be cremated too is it because you think you might come back awake in the box because that's the reason why I want to be cremated No, I like.
Speaker 1:The idea of being taken with the family.
Speaker 2:Oh, it's a codependency thing? Oh my God.
Speaker 1:Even in the afterlife, I'm codependent. But yeah, think about it. If my dad was buried in Utah.
Speaker 2:Yeah. Oh, yeah.
Speaker 1:And then my whole family moves out here. He would just be in the ground out there. Do you have him at your house now? Yes. Where is he? Um, you know where my TV is? Yeah. And all this stone on that wall? Right there.
Speaker 2:Oh, okay.
Speaker 1:Like right above Osos' playpen.
Speaker 3:I've been asking my mom to bring my dad back forever and she hasn't because she's afraid to fly with him. Also, she hated him. So she's just like, I don't want him around. I don't blame her. I'm like, fine.
Speaker 1:So where is he? In a storage unit? At her house in Ohio.
Speaker 2:Yeah.
Speaker 1:Alone.
Speaker 4:Yeah.
Speaker 1:Which I'm like, then when she goes home, I'm like, you're alone with that man. Her heart is somewhere else.
Speaker 2:Yeah. Wow.
Speaker 1:She probably talks shit to him, honestly. You stupid motherfucker. Yeah, she's like, listen here, you can't talk back to me now.
Speaker 2:Oh, my God.
Speaker 1:I wish we were flies on a wall when she's in there with him. I know.
Speaker 2:Put one of those little invasive cameras.
Speaker 1:I know. When she talks about that whole situation. Yeah. I cackle. It's funny now.
Speaker 3:When he first died, I had to be like, Hey mom, can you please not express your excitement for dad dying? It's been three days. Like we haven't even cremated him yet.
Speaker 1:And you're like, good. I'm glad that asshole's dead. And I was like, all right, well, okay.
Speaker 3:Can you just for like, give me a week to grieve and then you can talk about what an asshole he was.
Speaker 1:Thank you. I'm like, I agree with you, but like, I'm sorry.
Speaker 2:Stop.
Speaker 3:I was like, cause you got to stop lady. And she was like, all right, fine. And then like literally the second he was cremated, she was like, but he was an asshole.
Speaker 1:And I was like, I know, I know. I think she was telling me there was something sad that had happened and the neighbor came over and was like, oh, did... What was your dad's name?
Speaker 2:John.
Speaker 1:Did John pass? And she goes, no, I'd be out here popping champagne. Yeah.
Speaker 2:John passed.
Speaker 1:She has no shame about it. I can't blame her, though. No, of course not. He was a dick to her. Listen to me. I'm like, you can't blame her. Come on.
Speaker 2:Who can blame her?
Speaker 1:There are very few people that Easton... Like, loves and adores, right? Claudia is one of them.
Speaker 2:Easton fucks hard with Claudia.
Speaker 3:Yeah, they're besties. Also, Ocean, like, loves my mom, too. I think it's so funny.
Speaker 1:She does.
Speaker 3:She's like, my mom would be like, oh, Ocean, like, chose me today for this thing.
Speaker 1:Or, like, she, like, gave me this. Like, she's always, like, saying how Ocean, like, picked her. No, we have a very cute little dynamic that happens. Like, Mondays, we do our swim lessons.
Speaker 2:Yeah.
Speaker 1:Claudia comes over obviously with Janet and Cam, Jared, you come and get cute little content. What is it like watching us in the pool with our kids? Cause you've known us forever.
Speaker 2:Yeah, I know. It's no, it's wild.
Speaker 4:I mean, you guys, it's, I'm like looking out there cause oftentimes I won't get in the pool. Jenna will be like, don't get in. Cause then Cameron will never want.
Speaker 2:To get out.
Speaker 4:You know, it's just distraction to the swim, the swim teacher and all that stuff. So I'll sit there and watch. And I'm just like, my God, look at these girls just twirling around and just, enslaved these children just like these are their baby bosses just bossing them around it's wild and you guys are just trying to convince them to do things.
Speaker 2:Kick come on Cameron kick just please.
Speaker 4:Kick kick kick and they won't and then they spit water in your face and Sosa was pretty good, though, last time, actually.
Speaker 2:I was impressed at how good she swims.
Speaker 1:She's doing really well. She's doing well.
Speaker 3:Cameron thinks he can swim, but he can't, and that's the problem. I'm like, he's too brave, and I have to, like, half let him drown.
Speaker 1:He just drowns.
Speaker 3:And then he's, like, smiling as he's going under the water.
Speaker 1:Yeah, and he does this thing where he acts like a weight, and he doesn't move his body because he thinks it's funny to be underwater. And I'm like, you will drown. He has no fear.
Speaker 3:I don't know how to teach him fear. I'm like, you need to be a little afraid of this. I know, because the only way to teach him is to let him drown. But that's a real problem.
Speaker 1:But as he's drowning, he's laughing at me.
Speaker 3:And I'm like, this isn't funny. You are going to die.
Speaker 1:No, when I think about what our lives were like before them, sometimes I look at my children and think... I'm still a child. Like I'm, it's very intense looking at you and thinking like, oh, I'm responsible for your wellbeing forever. Like I have to take you to school or I'll go to jail. Like I have to feed you three meals a day. Like you're quite literally dependent on me, which is a very intense.
Speaker 2:This is like babies having babies. Yeah.
Speaker 4:Yeah.
Speaker 1:I feel like I'm a teen mom. 100%. And then I think about it. I'm like, oh, I'm four years shy of being 40.
Speaker 4:How?
Speaker 1:Yeah, I don't get that either. Like, when do we grow up? I don't think we ever do.
Speaker 4:Yeah.
Speaker 1:I think emotionally, we're always going to feel just like young and terrified when we think about things too much. I'll be sleeping on my side like this. And I'm like, oh, my God, wrinkles, wrinkles.
Speaker 4:No.
Speaker 1:I'm like immediately flipped to my back. I can't remember the last time I was in a REM cycle. I'm like, I may be approaching 40, but I'll be damned if I fucking look like I'm approaching 40. You got me fucked up.
Speaker 3:You know what it makes me think of too is like when we were kids, I was like, well, my mom knows everything. She's like an adult and she's got it all together. And I'm like, think now about how I am. And I'm like, oh, she didn't have it together and I don't have it together. And who is driving this bus.
Speaker 1:You have it together yeah when I need to figure out how to use my Amex points you're the only person that knows how oh I am an Amex points no but like you know your shit you know how to like book trips.
Speaker 3:That's about it I am very good at spending money on vacation.
Speaker 1:I was like, I think Shudder sounds fun. How do we let them know we want to come there?
Speaker 2:Do we just show up?
Speaker 1:But there's like multiple rooms that we could get. I'm like, so like do we call someone it makes me want.
Speaker 4:To power down you're you give a little bit boomer energy where you think like the the phone calls still happen with businesses like oh let me just call them up and it's like you get the automated ai like.
Speaker 2:Hello thank you this is an automated ai.
Speaker 1:And i just i'm the person that constantly presses zero over and over again and.
Speaker 4:Now they just hang up on you yeah i know it's very annoying they've discovered i'm.
Speaker 1:Asking for a human You know what the most annoying one is? Casa Vega uses AI.
Speaker 2:She sounds so real. And it's very convincing.
Speaker 4:Yes.
Speaker 2:I like her.
Speaker 1:Very convincing. I like her.
Speaker 2:She's really so sweet, though.
Speaker 3:Like, she has a little accent and everything. I'm like, I'm talking to someone who works at Casa Vega, obviously. And then you start to say stuff. And it's like, then it starts becoming apparent.
Speaker 1:And I'm like, oh, my gosh.
Speaker 3:I am like, I asked how this AI robot was doing today.
Speaker 1:That's nice. Because when the AI robots take over the world, they're going to remember that you were polite to them.
Speaker 3:Yes.
Speaker 1:Because that is happening. They're going to be like, but.
Speaker 3:That bitch just presses zero on us all the time.
Speaker 1:All she wants is human interaction, dumb hoe. People have questions. People have them questions. So the first one is, Jared, how did you meet Janet and Lala?
Speaker 2:You were just showing me those pictures.
Speaker 4:Yeah, I just found the picture of the first day we met. I was doing makeup in Los Angeles and I was working, doing red carpet makeup.
Speaker 2:And what happened?
Speaker 4:Oh, someone I knew just worked with NBC Universal and was like, oh, can you do touch-ups for this show called Vanderpump Rules for their after show?
Speaker 2:And I was like, my little story had kind of mimicked your guys's. Like, I was working in a restaurant. I couldn't afford.
Speaker 4:cable so i had never seen the show or anything and then i started doing makeup i was like doing all these like fabulous red carpets and rushing over to a restaurant and serving at night and whatever and then this girl was just like yeah come and do it they're like your age i think you'll get along with everyone and you just have to do touch-ups like powder powder your guys's faces yeah for an after show and then that's where i met britney and chris well everyone all of you guys and then i connected really a lot with britney because i think like of our southern heritage and just like she also didn't have a makeup artist whereas like you and sheena had already had makeup artists or you always did your own glam yeah and sheena we would use marine um who i had been following for forever on instagram the Instagram wasn't what it was like now. Like it was just kind of like much more smaller and like just kind of just like, Oh yeah, here's a selfie of my, you know, like here's just little silly stuff. And then two weeks after doing that little touch up thing, I got a text.
Speaker 2:I actually think I got an email from Brittany from like her AOL or something. Yeah.
Speaker 4:It's the same one that she has. And she was like, I can hear it in her little voice just being like, hey, I'm going to like the.
Speaker 2:Pitch Perfect premiere. Can you do my makeup or something like that? And then I went over to their apartment, her and Jax's apartment on Melrose. And.
Speaker 1:Was that on King Street?
Speaker 2:Yep. That's the one.
Speaker 4:And then I did her makeup and then Kristen's makeup. And it was just like one of those weird things. Like I was new in the makeup world. So I didn't really know what was like... the appropriate way to do things like, cause everyone I'd done the, my main cat, my main clients had been on the show. Orange is the new black. And they were also my age. So we would just hang out all the time. So I was like, Oh, it's just kind of normal to be friends with the people you do makeup for. And then Brittany's like, Oh, you can stay around and, you know, like hang out with us. Uh, we might smoke a blunt or something. And I was like, okay, like that, that's cool. And then a couple of days later, Kristen texted me and was like, Hey, I'm going to this.
Speaker 4:Can you do, do you do makeup for this? And I was like, I do makeup for everything. So like whatever you guys want. And then the next thing, you know, it was just kind of, then Stassi hit me up to do something and then.
Speaker 2:Katie and then Ariana.
Speaker 4:And then pretty much you and Sheena were the only two girls I didn't ever do from the show. But during that run between Jackson, Brittany getting engaged up through until i got sick i was doing those five girls on rotation it was like my main gig and then i threw like chris shell into the mix from selling sunset because she asked britney like hey do you have any recommendations for makeup i'm starting to do a reality show called selling sunset but yeah that's how i met everyone was just doing touch-ups and just i think it was like a person i truly think it's like a personality thing it's like less about like because the makeup i was doing on you guys was just like powdering and just making sure everyone was like shine free yeah but it's like a vibe kind.
Speaker 1:Of thing how did you meet janet.
Speaker 2:We just talked about this.
Speaker 4:And I didn't know Janet for the longest time because at that point, I was doing like the Witches of WeHo throwback to Vanderpump.
Speaker 2:And they were like in a blood feud with Sheena. No, with Sheena.
Speaker 3:And I was really close with Sheena. I'm like co-hosting her podcast.
Speaker 4:So nothing that I saw was... Like I never interacted with Sheena or Janet or whatever.
Speaker 2:And then I think... you said we met at this is like the meanest thing i.
Speaker 4:Remember meeting him and he doesn't remember meeting me but i don't mean don't mean in a mean way but just like i was doing makeup like for britney's wedding so i was like very busy i remember like being.
Speaker 3:Like oh britney looks so good at her wedding and being like oh i gotta like get this guy's contact yeah i just remember like i went into like britney's suite and you were like set up there and everything and i knew bradley because i had done hair with him a million times so i was like chit chatting with him then i was like this chair guy's fun and funny But then we connected again when I worked for Avaline Wine.
Speaker 2:Oh, yeah, that's it.
Speaker 3:He reached out to me because it was when I was gifting a lot of influencers stuff and really trying to like.
Speaker 1:What was that, like four years ago?
Speaker 3:Yeah, it was like pandemic time. Like, yeah, I guess it's been like six years now.
Speaker 1:Wow, okay. Because it was like 2021, I think.
Speaker 2:Yeah.
Speaker 1:Right around there.
Speaker 2:Because I still had to have my birthday party outside. And I was like, ooh, there's that girl.
Speaker 4:Always looking for my little opportunity. I was like, oh, there's that girl. I know her. She gives away free pink wine. Free pink wine. Yeah, and I was having a pink picnic party outside to celebrate. So I was like, let me just hit her up.
Speaker 2:And so I probably went to your house.
Speaker 3:Get cute picnic pics and I'll send you the wine. And then after that, I think we just like stayed in touch and then got really close. Right around the time Jason and I got engaged, Jared came to our engagement party that you were at. And he made like the most cute video of everybody. Like got like, made sure to get like every single person that was there on the video.
Speaker 4:Yeah.
Speaker 3:And it was like such a thoughtful gift. He like gave me this video to have his memories. And I remember being like, that is so thoughtful and nice.
Speaker 2:Like, Yeah, I didn't know.
Speaker 4:That was like, I made this video just like if you want it. And then I sent it to her and I was like, I was obsessed with making reels.
Speaker 2:I don't know why. Like, I was just loving.
Speaker 1:You're great at it.
Speaker 4:Yeah.
Speaker 2:It's just so fun for me.
Speaker 4:I just love doing it. And so I just like, oh, I made you an engagement party reel.
Speaker 3:And otherwise, like we had like a photo booth, but we didn't have a photographer or anybody else there like capturing memories.
Speaker 1:Yeah.
Speaker 3:So everything else would have just kind of disappeared on people's stories and whatever else. But Jared like really captured that day. And I still like go back and look at that video now. And I'm like, this is so cute.
Speaker 1:And I'm happy to have that. Yeah. And then we just became like really cute reels of like Halloween time. Yeah. And like Christmas and all of our festivities. You made a hysterical one when we went to Monster Jam. Oh my God.
Speaker 2:Yeah. The monster truck show.
Speaker 4:Yeah.
Speaker 2:So good.
Speaker 1:Oh, I love this question.
Speaker 2:Oh God.
Speaker 1:No, it's like one that I would love.
Speaker 2:Okay.
Speaker 1:It's nothing intense. What is everyone's morning routine? Can you tell I'm a Virgo? I normally.
Speaker 2:Yes, you are.
Speaker 4:I saw a thing, a meme that said like, what are the, they rank the, how many signs are there? 12 of like, who are the worst? And it was Aries, which is me. It was the number one worst. And number two was Virgo.
Speaker 1:That's clearly. I love a Virgo. Virgos are the best.
Speaker 2:And I love an Aries. Thank you.
Speaker 1:I don't like Aries men. I like Aries gays.
Speaker 4:Yeah.
Speaker 1:And Aries women. But I don't like Aries straight men.
Speaker 2:Yeah, no. Aries are psychotic.
Speaker 1:No, whoever wrote that is obviously not compatible with.
Speaker 2:With us.
Speaker 1:Yeah, so like, fuck you.
Speaker 2:They also said Gemini was the number one, which I was like, what?
Speaker 1:So they're a Gemini.
Speaker 2:Yeah.
Speaker 1:Obviously. So you're two-faced?
Speaker 2:So, yeah. Yeah, you're a two-faced fake-ass bitch.
Speaker 4:Yeah.
Speaker 1:You don't like people that shoot it straight with you? Yeah, it's a real bummer when someone holds up a mirror and is like.
Speaker 2:Um, morning routine.
Speaker 4:Well, mine is starts in the afternoon.
Speaker 2:I like to sleep. So mine, I'm a slow mover in the morning.
Speaker 1:Wait, like what time are we waking up, Jer?
Speaker 4:Sometimes I will wake up at like eight or nine, but I will not get out of bed till 10 or 11, like out of bed.
Speaker 2:And, um, then I'll start.
Speaker 1:Are we getting up to get coffee or anything?
Speaker 2:No, I won't do anything.
Speaker 4:I have my water already, like, from the night before sitting there a big thing so I can sip on my water. And then TV on, I try to go back to, I try to go back to sleep because sleeping is one of my like top five passions. I want to get as much of it as possible. And if that's not a thing, then I'll pop on the TV.
Speaker 1:Okay.
Speaker 4:Or I tried to not, I've been doing for the last like few months, not getting on my phone right away. I think I heard it's like really bad for you to immediately get on your phone and like absorb all that, you know, whether it's news or just social media or whatever, it like sets your day off in a wrong way. So it, As much as I'm being jokey about it, I do try to do it like intentionally, like have a very restful morning. But I'm also a night owl.
Speaker 4:So it's like I try to, you know, I'm trying to get my eight hours still. so it's like i'm gonna go to bed i'll go to bed like two or three.
Speaker 1:Oh my god i would have a panic attack.
Speaker 4:Imagine no That's why you'll get emails from me being like, oh, here, the video's done.
Speaker 2:I've just finished this video.
Speaker 1:No wonder I'm not seeing them.
Speaker 4:Yeah.
Speaker 3:He edits our podcast late at night and then uploads it really late.
Speaker 1:Oh my gosh, I'm panicking for you.
Speaker 4:So then at 11, I'll roll out of bed and then get ready, put on my Cotrini skin, some SPF, and then have coffee.
Speaker 1:And then come over to my house. So we're like getting out of the house by like one or two?
Speaker 2:Yeah. Got it.
Speaker 4:Okay.
Speaker 1:I normally start my day. I normally wake up.
Speaker 3:This is lately because I was for a little while sleeping in until like eight ish.
Speaker 4:Okay.
Speaker 1:But now the last like, I don't know, month, it's like 645. I normally naturally wake up because I have to poop.
Speaker 3:And I normally start with a poop and then I take a bath every morning.
Speaker 1:Wow. Every morning I take a bath.
Speaker 3:I have to. It's like I wash my hair every day in the bath. I have a whole thing. I use a sprayer to wash it out. And then I will start to get Cameron ready. So on school days, pack his lunch, get him dressed. If he needs a bath, I'll hop him in with me. Um, and then take him to school. And then normally when I get home from school, if I don't have something to do, I lay in bed on my phone for like an hour and have like a moment of silence and downtime.
Speaker 1:Wow.
Speaker 3:And then I'll get normal stuff done around the house, laundry, pick up the kitchen, grocery.
Speaker 1:Shop, that kind of stuff. Damn.
Speaker 4:Yeah.
Speaker 2:Get my lunch ready for my arrival. Yeah.
Speaker 3:Cook whatever I'm cooking for Jared when he gets over.
Speaker 1:Yeah.
Speaker 2:What do you do in the morning?
Speaker 1:Why? I, my alarm goes off at six.
Speaker 2:In the morning?
Speaker 4:Yeah.
Speaker 1:She's in bed by 7 p.m. every night.
Speaker 2:Early girl. Oh my God.
Speaker 1:And then I go downstairs and I turn on the news and I make my coffee. And then once 6.30 rolls around, I go upstairs. I get Ocean up to start getting ready for school. As she gets dressed, I like pack her little snacks and whatnot. Grab Sosa. We're in the car by 7.30 to drop her off at the bus. On Mondays, I have just enough time to get home to leave Sosa behind, show up looking like this. And we podcast on Mondays. But for the, for like normal days without the podcast, I'll either, after drop off, Jenna comes over to train me or I'll go to the gym. And then we work. Then we get home after we pick Sosa or Ocean up. Your day is start...
Speaker 1:When you're leaving the house, I'm looking at the clock being like, oh, a couple more hours to... And then we're calling the day good. You know?
Speaker 2:Yeah.
Speaker 1:Like 6.30, I'm putting my kids to bed. And with... Sosa always goes to bed at 6.30.
Speaker 4:Yeah.
Speaker 1:But Ocean now, because 6.30 for her rolls around, she's a sleeper. I didn't realize that. I have to put her in bed at 6.30 and then I put on the quiet show. is what she calls it. It's Whispering Willow. Have you heard of her? It's ASMR.
Speaker 4:Oh. Yeah.
Speaker 1:And Ocean loves it. So I'll put her in bed and she knows she gets to watch that until seven, which she doesn't even make it to seven. She knocks right out. So like.
Speaker 3:Do you transfer her then into her bed or you let her sleep with you?
Speaker 2:No.
Speaker 1:She is only right now. She's sleeping with me since my mom has been gone.
Speaker 4:Yeah.
Speaker 1:I just don't like her down there by herself.
Speaker 2:That's fair.
Speaker 1:Even though the alarms on with the dogs is just like everyone upstairs.
Speaker 4:Yeah.
Speaker 1:But normally she now knows school nights. You have to sleep in your own bed because I like to turn my TV on and I will let friends rock until like the morning time.
Speaker 3:Yeah.
Speaker 1:Because it just silences my brain.
Speaker 4:Right.
Speaker 2:Yeah.
Speaker 1:But on the weekends, that's when we get buck wild. And I'm like, you get to sleep in my bed. We'll have popcorn and M & Ms in the bed. We'll watch like a movie. She's obsessed with Miss Congeniality right now.
Speaker 2:Oh, the taste.
Speaker 1:That's a cute one. I know. She loves it. I love that.
Speaker 2:I know.
Speaker 1:Originally, she was like, Mom, this seems like an adult show with all the shooting that's been going on.
Speaker 4:Oh, yeah.
Speaker 1:I forgot there is at the very beginning.
Speaker 2:Yeah.
Speaker 1:And I was like, we turn it off. Let's watch something that's more kid friendly. And she's like, no, no, I really I really like it. I'm just letting you know that I think this part is for adults.
Speaker 4:Great. She's such a self-aware little girl.
Speaker 1:I loved that question. Jared, what's it like to co-host a pod with a married couple?
Speaker 2:I'm just constantly trying to sleep with Jason.
Speaker 1:Carl, all I want to do is sleep with Jason.
Speaker 2:No, um... It's easy.
Speaker 4:Well, I'm in charge of the podcast, so they just are my little minions that I tell them what we're talking about. Because I produce it and edit it and do all of that part. So I'm like, here's what we're talking about. And then Janet, throughout the week, will be like, oh, we should talk about, like, I saw this on TikTok or I saw this pop culture story that I know you missed or whatever.
Speaker 1:Or Jason said something insane.
Speaker 2:Yeah.
Speaker 1:Like, last week he said.
Speaker 3:he's been thinking a lot about Paw Patrol and he's like, where do these puppies, he's like, how come there's no origin story of Paw Patrol? Where did they get the funds? Are they Nepo puppies? How do they have all these like nice cars and like drills and all these, these like, you know, like, superhero equipment and when did the dogs because there's people and there's dogs who are not a part of Paw Patrol on Paw Patrol like there's pets he's like how did these particular dogs get assigned the role of like superheroes and all this so like he was saying this to me one night and I was just like uh-huh uh-huh texting Jared being.
Speaker 1:Like was he high probably yeah these are.
Speaker 4:High he said on the he said on the podcast he said it was after he took his like taking his rest rest time gummy so he was like oh I was starting to have some But then his toxic, this is like the reminder that he's a straight man, is that he's like, I'm sure other people think this too. He's like, I can't be the only one who's wondering about the backstory of Paw Patrol.
Speaker 1:I think he might be.
Speaker 4:Literally, I got like 20 DMs from people being like, oh yeah, just let Jason know like my 10-year-old child who's watched Paw Patrol since it's come out has never once asked like, oh, I wonder where Chase is on the case got his police outfit from or anything like that.
Speaker 2:No one cares.
Speaker 3:Jason's like very like, he needs things to make sense. a lot so I'm like it's just part of the story totally and then I feel like on the podcast too he always plays devil's advocate so we're talking about something like a pop culture topic or something normally Jared and I are like for the most part on the same page and then Jason's like well to be fair and we're like oh my god he's gonna take the other side of the argument I kind of love that though yeah and.
Speaker 1:It will it's nice to cover.
Speaker 4:It all you know he's a Libra and a lawyer so it's like truly the balance of justice is like always at play it's.
Speaker 1:Psychotic yeah You know, I don't know if Cam would like this because he likes monster trucks and stuff, but Sosa is really into PB & J. Do you remember that? The otters that live in the boat?
Speaker 3:No.
Speaker 1:But I'm going to check it out now. It's like noodle. Use your noodle. I know that song. You know what I'm talking about?
Speaker 2:Yes. No.
Speaker 1:It's really cute. I actually am totally fine with watching it. That and then at night sometimes That's So Raven with Ocean. Oh, cute. So cute. Ocean's got great taste.
Speaker 2:Yes, she does.
Speaker 1:I'm like, hell yeah, I'll watch all of these. Were you hoping this season of The Valley would have more storylines? Yes.
Speaker 2:Next question, yeah.
Speaker 3:Well, I feel like there's only so much time to cover... you know, certain stuff. So there's a lot of stuff that I feel like, you know, when you have certain people, you know, I don't know, being messy that then it takes away from like kind of the everyday stuff that might be, you know, a little bit more boring, but like, you know, stuff that's very true to life. So I, yeah, I'm, I'm hoping that, you know, more of the like everyday and what's going on. It also didn't help that Jason was like injured all last season. So he could only film from bed and that's, you know, only so interesting.
Speaker 1:Interesting for me. A lot of it. Love, love watching someone else enjoy the bed.
Speaker 3:But he, so it was like so much, you know, there was, there's only so much of our lives that I feel like we could show.
Speaker 1:And then when certain people are being like.
Speaker 3:Crazy and extra, it's like, well, that's a lot more interesting for reality TV than like what's going on in our daily lives.
Speaker 1:Well, and I think a lot of like this, this season I got a lot of what was your storyline? And it was like, my storyline was peace.
Speaker 4:Yeah.
Speaker 1:Like I, I finally, you know, bought a home, had the baby that I'd been talking about for a really long time. My mom and brother are doing great. Like my, my life was not falling apart.
Speaker 2:Yeah.
Speaker 1:So, which is less interesting, unfortunately.
Speaker 3:Right.
Speaker 1:And I have no control over like editing. Right. At the end of the day, like we're all filming a lot of different shit and we have no control over what makes it. And even though it's real life, it's really meant to entertain you guys.
Speaker 2:Yeah.
Speaker 1:So we, we hand it over to people who know how to make that shit happen.
Speaker 2:Yeah.
Speaker 4:Right.
Speaker 1:Pick out what's going to be the most entertaining. And although it's very much what happened, things like me at home, living a peaceful life is way less interesting than let's just say when I found out about, you know, my baby daddy doing X, Y, and Z. My life's not falling apart at the moment.
Speaker 4:Yeah.
Speaker 3:Honestly, a lot more of the toxic stuff gets covered and then the other stuff kind of gets backburnered. And that's something that we don't really know until we watch it back. And it's like, oh, wait, like around this time we were talking about having another kid, buying a house, like all this stuff. And it's, you know, minimized or, or isn't there. And I'm like, well, I can't really blame them because I also am tuning in to the toxicity and being like holy shit that's what's going on behind those closed.
Speaker 1:Doors I thought the season was great I did.
Speaker 4:Too and they have what 43 minutes to jam it all in like 20 episodes 42 minutes and Which when you have 17.
Speaker 3:Cast members or however many there are, it's like that ends up being like a.
Speaker 2:Minute and a half per person.
Speaker 3:And when somebody else has something wild going on, give them five minutes. Like I want to see that five minutes versus me and Jason at home being like, what should we make for dinner?
Speaker 1:I chat GPT'd how much people actually see me or just anybody that's on a show like ours. How, what the percentage is of like how well someone would get to know you off of that. It was zero percent. 0.03%. Yeah.
Speaker 2:Oh, Lord.
Speaker 1:It was wild.
Speaker 2:It's almost like they don't know you at all. Yeah.
Speaker 3:And then people kind of blame us for that. And I'm like, look, I wish, you know, that other pieces and parts were shown. But at the end of the day, the stuff that's going to make for the most interesting TV is going to be shown.
Speaker 1:So not our fault. I don't really care either way.
Speaker 2:Yeah.
Speaker 1:I also find that when people.
Speaker 3:Like, I feel like there are people who kind of are like, well, I want my storyline to be this and I'm going to push that. And I go into it with like, shit's going to happen no matter what. I'm going to roll with the punches. And if it's interesting, great. And if it's not, the more interesting stuff will be shown.
Speaker 1:100%. It's completely out of your hands. I always say when someone joins a reality show and they're like, what's your advice? I'm like, don't get married to your story.
Speaker 4:Yeah.
Speaker 1:Because it's important to you. It may not be the most important in the overall. So if you film something and it gets cut out, like you cannot lose your mind over it.
Speaker 3:And sometimes the dynamic you have with other people becomes more interesting than like your home life.
Speaker 1:Yeah.
Speaker 3:And that's what ends up being shown. And then that's, I feel like when people are like, you don't have a storyline without this person.
Speaker 1:And it's like. But you know what's so funny? is if, for example, when Kyle and Mauricio parted ways, a lot of people said, They're doing it for a storyline. But then when your life is like calm, you have no story. So it's like you really can't win.
Speaker 4:Yeah.
Speaker 1:So I'm going to show up, live my life, give my two cents. What ends up on your TV? You're fucking welcome. I hope you enjoy. And like, I'll catch you on the flip side.
Speaker 2:I agree.
Speaker 1:You can't even you can't worry about it. Jared, what did you think of Lala and Janet this season on the Valley?
Speaker 2:I loved you guys.
Speaker 4:I thought it was iconic. I thought you were specifically iconic. I mean, I've seen her on the last three seasons, obviously, but you coming in and getting like a more fleshed out, what's it called? Like arc throughout the show was really good.
Speaker 2:And you just are, you just.
Speaker 4:Are good at the, like speaking things to, to get, to get the show moving, I guess is the best way to say it.
Speaker 2:You know what I mean?
Speaker 4:Like, And I think as someone who watches a lot of reality TV, I appreciate that.
Speaker 2:You know what I mean?
Speaker 4:Yeah. It's like, it's like you can kind of clock the like, Oh, this is needed to, to make the.
Speaker 2:Show enjoyable, you know?
Speaker 4:And I felt like you were a voice of kind of reason and levity and a lot of situations. And I liked it. And I just think you're very funny. And my mom does too. My mom was always like, Oh my God, Lala just cracks me up.
Speaker 2:My sister will text me. My friend Vinny will text me being like.
Speaker 4:Tell Lala, like, how does she think of that? And I'm like, you guys, she's just smart. And also I think being sober helps with that. You know, like you, you're not, you're around people who are a little bit more, um, you know, a little bit more foggy brained in the moment.
Speaker 2:And so you can be a little bit sharper.
Speaker 4:And I think that comes off so funny in a lot of scenes, you know, when you sit down at the table and you're just.
Speaker 2:Like, what are you going to do about it? Like, it's just like, so I met Jana.
Speaker 4:I think, you know, this year was a nice, uh, what's it called, rebound from the first two seasons of kind of a lot of negativity. It's hard for me to be impartial about either of you guys because since you're my friends, you know, because it's like, I've seen like the downside of getting a, you know, like kind of a negative spin from the audience and everything for the first two years. But I thought it was really entertaining this year.
Speaker 1:Yeah, I thought it was a great season. And I, because it was like a new dynamic that I was venturing into, I wasn't quite sure. I mean, I obviously hang out with you and talk.
Speaker 2:To you every day.
Speaker 1:So, um, I, and I, I thought it was funny, but that was a funny, I know what you're talking about.
Speaker 2:Jesse. Yeah.
Speaker 1:He's like, well then participate in the conversation. I'm like, where am I? Yeah. What do you think? I'm doing that.
Speaker 4:Yeah.
Speaker 1:I was like, kind of confused.
Speaker 2:You're quick witted.
Speaker 1:You ate people up.
Speaker 3:You also have some very good one-liners where I was like, damn, if I could think that quickly, because I'm one of those people, I feel like Jason and I have talked about this. We're like, afterwards we'll be in bed and we'll be like, you know what would have been funny? And we're like, too bad that it takes us 12.
Speaker 1:Hours to think of the line. Your unbotheredness is so good.
Speaker 2:Yeah, you serve a different type of humor. Yes. You're not a one-liner queen, maybe.
Speaker 4:But the way you do things is just beyond.
Speaker 1:The way I cackle, you make me, I guess the new people are now cackling is like played out. Everyone says I'm howling. I howl when I'm around you. I love it. I think you're one of the funniest humans on the planet. Thank you. I'm going to pull an Andy Cohen. Switching gears, least favorite sex position. Anything that's not missionary. Anything that's not missionary.
Speaker 3:And then if I'm feeling freaky, sometimes me on top or doggy style, but I don't know other sex positions than that.
Speaker 1:Okay.
Speaker 4:She's so boring. Um, well, I don't have a lot of like proper sex right now.
Speaker 2:I don't, I'm not big.
Speaker 4:And I like to save myself for relationship to have great. I think real sex, like, you know, penetrative. Um, but I don't like doggy style. I find it very impersonal and especially like, you know, It's like, what are you doing back there?
Speaker 1:Right. Totally. Yeah. I think my least favorite is squatty potty position now. What?
Speaker 4:What?
Speaker 1:Like, if you're standing, like the guy is standing like this, you're essentially standing up, but your body's like this. Legs are over his shoulder. Got his arms wrapped. And so he can go like this.
Speaker 3:I would need to go to the hospital after what you just described.
Speaker 1:I wouldn't. My IUD is either enlarged in my fucking esophagus or we got an issue happening.
Speaker 3:I mean, of course, the way you just described that, I don't think that that's supposed to be done that way.
Speaker 1:That is, that is intense. It was intense. I can, if I asked, yes, and I've, I've hooked up that way before, but this was, I don't know what, I think it's maybe because usually my legs are flopped over the forearms and it now was over the shoulder. So I was like, really like this. But I was like, I don't know what's happening. I'm either going to shit on the floor or.
Speaker 2:Yeah, that is a good squatty potty.
Speaker 4:Yeah.
Speaker 3:If I asked Jason to do this, he would literally just stare at me.
Speaker 4:Yeah. And it's not that he couldn't carry because he's got very big biceps.
Speaker 2:Yeah. But that's crazy work. No, I... Yeah, I hate that position too now.
Speaker 1:It was intense. I'm going to suggest you don't do that anymore.
Speaker 2:Yeah, that's important. I can't guarantee it.
Speaker 1:It's like very, very hot unless it's like too much of a like... When my ass is like in the air and then I'm swinging back onto the dick, it's like kind of a lot. Yeah, you think?
Speaker 2:Kind of a lot.
Speaker 1:Wow. Jared, have you remained friends with Jaxx?
Speaker 3:No, what?
Speaker 2:Who's asking that? No, I can't say that I have.
Speaker 1:I feel like you ditched him, like, long, long, long ago.
Speaker 4:Yeah, I don't know if I would ever consider myself really, like, he was just around because he was married to my good friend Brittany. Yeah.
Speaker 2:So, no, I don't.
Speaker 1:I'm sorry, I had to ask.
Speaker 2:That's so crazy.
Speaker 1:Favorite TV show right now.
Speaker 2:Janet, go.
Speaker 4:Oof.
Speaker 1:Okay, like, I don't know. I feel like anything documentary-wise. Oh, okay.
Speaker 3:I just watched, because it's the 25th anniversary of 9-11, and so I just watched the new 9-11 documentary.
Speaker 1:Oh, I meant to text you to tell you not to watch that without me. Oh, it was like a good, I don't know.
Speaker 2:Informative.
Speaker 1:Yeah, informative thing.
Speaker 3:And then anything, honestly, anything like true crime or current event.
Speaker 1:I want to watch the... I think it's called The Preacher's Wife is the new one that people are going crazy for.
Speaker 2:I haven't watched that one.
Speaker 1:The Pastor's Wife, yeah.
Speaker 3:They have this new one called, I think, Instadocs on Netflix that's like really quick turnaround of current events. So they just had one about Trump like sneaking out of the plane onto the car.
Speaker 1:I must watch.
Speaker 3:And I think it's like a 40 minute quickie, but it just has, it was set up really well. Like it didn't seem like it was like cheaply thrown together for having such a quick turnaround. Yeah. But it's like more current event stuff that they just like whip up a documentary within like, I mean, I feel like that happened like a month ago.
Speaker 4:Yeah.
Speaker 3:So I watched that this weekend too. And I thought that was done well and very interesting.
Speaker 2:Love it.
Speaker 1:I'm a, I'm a documentary girly. What's yours?
Speaker 2:Widow's Bay. Love Widows Bay.
Speaker 1:Love Widows Bay.
Speaker 4:I finished it and then American Horror Story is coming back for its 13th season and it's going to be like He's bringing it. Ryan Murphy's bringing everyone back.
Speaker 2:Jessica Lange. Emma Roberts.
Speaker 1:Are we doing a Kim Kardashian moment?
Speaker 4:No.
Speaker 2:She's not coming back. Only the icons.
Speaker 1:Okay. Um, I'm with you on widow's bay. And now I'm rewatching for, I think the third time game of Thrones cause their 15th anniversary. Have you been texting Jason about that? Cause he's been rewatching too. No, but I'm going to start. He's been rewatching that. Okay. Love that. And then obviously Seinfeld and friends at night.
Speaker 2:Yeah.
Speaker 1:Janet, would you and Jason, Oh wait, Jared, I have a friend who just got diagnosed with cancer. How can I support her?
Speaker 2:That's so sad. Um, I mean, on a friend level, just be there for them. You know, be there for the person.
Speaker 4:That was the biggest thing for me was having everyone support me and show up for me. Even in the pandemic, like, just getting phone calls and FaceTimes and all of that stuff.
Speaker 2:Like, not feeling like.
Speaker 4:Because it feels... I mean, obviously, your life shuts down in a weird way where it's like... It just becomes about curing cancer and getting better.
Speaker 2:Yeah. But....
Speaker 4:Remembering that you're still part of your friend group and stuff and that your friends still care. And then on a bigger picture, go check out some resources on their behalf. One of my favorite organizations, we got this org and it has, it's got a cancer patient gift registry for free. You don't have to like prove it or anything like, Oh, here's my insurance or here's this or that or my diagnosis. And they have a link to a lot of resources. So I used the blood cancer United resources and got like some funding to help cover the just expenses. So there's different things, different organizations that provide different needs, you know, therapy, whatever kind of stuff. But the biggest thing is not to ditch the person, you know, it's weird. That's a weird thing that can happen because I think people get freaked out of how do I handle this? It's so different than what we're used to. So be there as best as you can for your friend. And hopefully they get better really quick.
Speaker 1:I love that.
Speaker 2:Science is really good right now. So yeah. There's a lot of hope out there.
Speaker 1:Praise science.
Speaker 2:Yeah.
Speaker 1:Janet, would you and Jason ever have a threesome?
Speaker 4:No.
Speaker 1:I mean, Jason gets jealous. No, not anytime soon.
Speaker 3:But I could see if in 20 years and things were kind of dried up or a little boring, I could see us going to Las Vegas and picking up a lady.
Speaker 1:All right. Well, feel free to remember me. All right. It would have to be somebody we don't know.
Speaker 3:It would have to be a stranger that we'd never see again.
Speaker 1:I could never look at the two.
Speaker 2:Of you ever again. Are you joking?
Speaker 4:I love the safety of being able to joke about it because it's not an option, you know?
Speaker 1:Yeah.
Speaker 2:Like if ever once Jason was like, gave me an eye, I'd be like, no, repeat, retract, retract in the name of Satan, I rebuke you or whoever's rebuking, you know?
Speaker 1:Jason also doesn't react when you're like, oh, you're so hot, whatever. He's like, what, Jared?
Speaker 2:Remember he walked out and I said, hey, sexy daddy. And he was like, what?
Speaker 1:He's like, what are you doing? Whenever I call him and he goes, Oh, thanks a lot. You're welcome. Does Janet feel vindicated after the reunion? Because she should. Do you want to answer that?
Speaker 2:Yes.
Speaker 4:No.
Speaker 3:Cause I think if I were to say I feel fully vindicated, I feel like part of the reason I can feel vindicated is because I was able to take responsibility for the things I did wrong and So I don't want to say I'm vindicated because I feel like that walks that back a little bit. So sure, there were pieces that I was like, I'm glad people are finally seeing what I've been saying. But also there were mistakes I made that I needed to own up to. And that was all part of it. So yes and no.
Speaker 1:I want to end on this one. Lala, why do you fight Janet's battles for her? If I knew who you were, I'd say... Jan, why do you ask really stupid fucking questions?
Speaker 2:Wait, what battle? Exactly. No, but what battle? What battle?
Speaker 1:Well, this is the thing.
Speaker 3:I think Lala and I are such close friends because we agree on a lot of like morals and the basic things of life of like, this is right, this is wrong.
Speaker 1:So maybe it.
Speaker 3:looks like even though I don't think this it looks like maybe we were fighting the same battle but I feel like you and I just agree on a lot and you know about what's right and wrong so it's like when we're seeing something that's not right we're both just like that ain't right I.
Speaker 1:Think I was fighting someone else's battle not yours yeah don't be rude to her please what battle did I fight of yours I agree with you it goes back to are we watching the same show I always think that so wild where am I.
Speaker 3:It's so funny when we get the show like a day early and we watch and we're like, oh great. And this is the thing. And then it's something that's completely not the thing when everybody else's watches it.
Speaker 1:And I'm like, huh, that's what you, that's what you picked up on. Not this thing, that thing, huh? Perception will always be the thing that blows my mind. It's like, oh wow, you really see it so differently than I do. The difference is, is my way is right because I have 2015 vision.
Speaker 2:Yeah.
Speaker 1:Yours is wrong. Which I do have 2015 vision, just so you know.
Speaker 2:Is that good or bad?
Speaker 1:It's the best one. The greatest.
Speaker 2:Oh, congrats.
Speaker 1:That's what fucking snipers have.
Speaker 4:Yeah.
Speaker 1:I went in, read the eye test. She was like, this is too small. You don't need to read it. I was like, LFKJMO. She was like, did I pass?
Speaker 2:I don't pass any tests.
Speaker 1:Should I pass? Sign you up for it? She was like, well, you definitely have 2020 vision, but I would say it's 2015. I was like, holy shit. That's like what they use to fucking... Osama bin Laden.
Speaker 4:Wow.
Speaker 1:I think, I don't know for sure. I'm no military person, but you guys, thank you for listening to another episode of untraditionally Lala. I love you guys and I will catch you next week. Bye.
