0:40SPEAKER_06:What's up, y'all? This is another installment of Fantasy for the Dogs. We like to talk about games because we are avid football fans. Uh, we love watching the games. So we have seven games that we would like to talk with y'all about. Fellas, y'all ready?

1:17SPEAKER_04:Who wants to talk about the Giants? We're glad we're in agreement.

1:24SPEAKER_06:So this week, and just like every week, we like to talk about some games that we have a lot, the the more intriguing games for us. Um and we're gonna start off with the Cowboys are taking a quick trip to Houston. Um the over and under is 47 and a half. And if you're betting, man, the money line is oh wait, excuse me, the spread is plus two and a half for the Cowboys. And um, the money line is plus 127 for the Cowboys. Fellas, how do you feel about this game here?

2:04SPEAKER_07:This is when uh a great offense meets a great defense. This will be a good one, and uh Houston has to win this game. Nico's coming back. Um what's your thoughts, man?

2:20SPEAKER_05:I don't see I don't see Dallas losing this game. I think that offense is gonna overpower that defense. And the Houstons offense won't be good enough against the Dallas defense, even though that defense is not that good. But maybe I'm wrong. Maybe Nico comes back, gets 100 yards, two touchdowns, and turns some things around for him.

2:41SPEAKER_04:I can see Houston upsetting them. Uh it's it's the freaking Dallas Cowboys for crying out loud. Um they just have the cowboys, yeah. The Cowboys always have a chance to be upset. Like that's just within them. You know what I'm saying? Um, and getting Nico back for CJ would be a plus. Dalton Schultz is it's a lot of stake in this game for real. Like Dalton Schultz going back. Uh, where's this game at? Is it in uh Houston.

3:11SPEAKER_07:Houston. Is it in Houston?

3:13SPEAKER_04:Oh, it's in Houston. Ah, okay. Dalton Schultz is gonna be going back. But it's in Texas either way, right, right. They both home. So that's that's the fun part about the game. Dalton Schultz playing his whole team. Um, I think the defense for Houston, uh, I think they could shut that rundown. So I feel like if they shut the rundown and they're chasing Dak, Pickens and CD, they're gonna have to make them plays, and we haven't seen too much from Pickens yet.

3:39SPEAKER_04:So maybe this is Pickens' uh uh gimme game to where he shows that he's here for the season because Stingley's definitely gonna be on CD. So uh this will be an opportunity for Pickens to show himself uh for the first time this season. Uh so but I do again feel like Houston can get the upset. Uh for fantasy perspective, I would I wouldn't do the whole David Montgomery thing in the lineup. He ain't in my sit like he wasn't on my set list because he's not division talk for me, but I'm I'm sitting Montgomery this week.

4:12SPEAKER_04:Even even against Dallas. I mm-mm. I'm running away from it. I wouldn't even do it.

4:19SPEAKER_07:Shit. Warren, I'm with you, bro. I think I'm gonna lean towards Houston. If Nico's playing, they have to win. And um I just I just think Nico would give them enough offense to have help the defense slow down Dallas. But I also do believe, like you said, George Pickens, this is this will be his breakout game.

4:42SPEAKER_04:Mm-hmm. There's a lot of coaching miscues too. This may have nothing to do with fantasy or anything. Like the damn coaching miscues last week in Dallas killed me. I'm like, what in the hell is like like for them to do all of the bullshit that they did, especially down at the two-yard line, I think it was like first and goal. And and uh for whatever the fuck they did, I'm like, yo, like I think Dallas gets down to the red zone and they just brain part.

5:17SPEAKER_05:Uh I got a I got a question for y'all. This is just this is just because it's Texas versus Texas. Um me and me and Philly used to debate who the king of Texas was. And and the last time we talked about it, it was either it was either Luca or Michael Park. So asking y'all, who do y'all think the king of Texas is right now?

In all seriousness, I like this game because it's gonna be a real battle of a really good offense versus a really good defense, right? But I don't think George Pickens is the guy that's gonna have the breakout game. I think it's gonna be Mr. Ferguson that's gonna go crazy in this game. I can't I can't really put my finger on it. Why? He'll be in my flex this week, just for that. So um Jordan starting two tight ends?

8:00SPEAKER_06:Yeah, I'm starting two tight ends this week. Tommy. Yeah, yeah, Jury. I'm starting two tight ends this week, so I'm picking Dallas to win this game. GM of the year. Hey, if I win, if I win, I win, you know. So, yeah. We're gonna move on to the next game. The Jacksonville Jaguars are taking a trip to Cincinnati. Um right now, right now, it looks like the spread is plus is plus two and plus two plus two and a half for the Jaguars. The over and under is 51 and a half, and the money line is plus 124 for the Jacksonville Jaguars.

8:41SPEAKER_06:And I'm gonna just throw, I'm gonna just throw my pick out there already. The Jags got a good defense, but the Bengals, man, the Bengals, the Bengals are gonna, boy, the Bengals, the Bengals won't show out at home. So I'm taking the Bengals to show out at home.

8:59SPEAKER_07:Okay. So let's look up on the fantasy side. Let's go from the fantasy side. I think uh I'm picking the Bengals as well, JD. But I think Chase Brown's gonna have his breakout game. It's a 50 51 over under. I think he's gonna have plenty of opportunity to touch the box. Um yeah, um, and then Cincinnati's coming off a tough loss. So you know they yeah, you know they mad. You know they mad. Um, but um but yeah, Jacksonville's playing some good ball. This is gonna be a good game.

9:34SPEAKER_04:It's gonna be a real good game, and it's tough to call. Yeah. Tough to call. Um fantasy perspective, yeah. Take the lead in uh certain uh bits of the conversation, knowing that I got two of the guys uh coming from both these teams with Jamar and uh Tutin. Uh it's it's crazy for both of them. It's like I expect what I expect of them for their namesake, but like it's gonna be a dull. Like, I know Chase is gonna get his, but I don't know if Tutin's gonna get his because of Cincinnati's run defense being, you know, quite fairly decent over the first like three weeks.

10:09SPEAKER_04:And uh, but I, you know, like you said, it's an opportunity for the score scoreboard to go, you know, high or whatever the case is. So one long catch could take him down to the goal line as first and goal at the six through the five or something like that. So um, you know, I'll temper my expectations for like the volume workload for Tootin'. But um game, game flow-wise, it's a tough one. Uh I'm gonna go, I'm gonna give the nod. For me, I'm gonna give the nod to I'm gonna give it to Jacksonville this week.

10:39SPEAKER_04:I'm gonna give it to Jacksonville. Um again, Burrow sometimes. Like I as much as I love Joe Cool, that's my guy, but ah just can't it can't be close in the fourth quarter, and then some shit happens because that's when shit starts to happen with Burrow. It's always something. It's always so he's starting to be like, like I love me, Burrow, but he's starting to remind me of Dak in ways of that. Like it's always something at the end of a game with Joe Burrow.

11:08SPEAKER_04:Something happens, he gets hurt, a miscue, a pick, something. So but yeah, um the Chase Brown game, uh, volume-wise, I definitely agree with you, Mont. Um, this will be a game where it can be 30-30, five minutes left in the fourth, and you know, you give Chase Brown, like Chase Brown gets a whole drive dedicated to him. So there's definitely a possibility for that.

11:34SPEAKER_05:So I agree. I agree too. I think it's gonna be, I think it's gonna be a high power offensive game for both teams. I think it's gonna be enough for Tootin to be able to show off. It's gonna be enough for Parker Washington to be able to show off, it's gonna be enough for both quarterbacks, it's gonna be enough for Chase Brown, Jamar Chase, T. Higgins. I think everybody's gonna contribute fantasy-wise in this game. Um, but I just have a lot less faith in the Bengals defense than I do the Jags defense.

12:13SPEAKER_05:I like both their offenses, I just don't like the Bengals defense. Especially in comparison to the Jags defense. So I think I think Jacksonville is gonna take it. I think it's gonna be like 38-27, something like that. 38-28.

12:34SPEAKER_04:I can see that. I think it's worth documenting too before we move on. I think it's worth documenting, because I was gonna say it during the first slap, but BTJ, his fall from Greece, man, like for him to have that rookie year, bruh, and for him to now be like speculated as the fourth option is like uh shit. That shit took a turn for the worst really fast. Like, I did not expect that shit.

13:12SPEAKER_04:I just think I just think that a two of two to 87 catches, 1100 yards, and 10 turns is like that's a that's a drop, a crazy drop. But hey, it happens. It definitely happened. It happened to Michael Thomas.

13:37SPEAKER_06:All right, moving on. The next game, we got the Los Angeles Rams taking a west, taking a flight to the east coast, playing at the link. Eagles versus the Rams. We have the spread. It opened up at um minus one and a half for the Rams. Um 43 the over and under the over and under is 43 and a half, and the money line is minus 162 for the Rams. Now, my bias is gonna take over because we play the Rams very well, no matter where we play them. So I'm taking the Eagles.

14:17SPEAKER_06:I'm taking the Eagles in a bounce back game. You already know my bias. Eagles in a bounce back game, man.

14:27SPEAKER_07:And this don't I wanted to elaborate it more on the Eagles, bro, uh, when you were speaking about them, but I saved it for this time. So um I did too. So let's start with y'all defense. I don't think the defense is dominant as it was or as it should be. I'm hoping with the the uh season going on, they get better. But it's like y'all don't do nothing great. Like we spoke about Saquon running a rock very well, but they're not doing it enough. The offense still looks the same.

15:01SPEAKER_07:Two struggling matchups against the Titans and losing against the Bears. It's scary, but y'all track history with the Rams, y'all own them. And they're coming to the East Coast. And what was it? Uh it was a coin flip. I'm gonna take the Eagles. I don't know how, but just off of history and a bounce back game, I'm gonna go with the Eagles. But I I'm just that's my thing to you, Jordan. What everything I stated about y'all, do you think it can improve?

15:33SPEAKER_07:Like you said, there's no panic for you. Uh I don't what you think, man?

15:40SPEAKER_06:The only reason why I'm not panicking is because we have a Super Bowl MVP. Um we also have um a pretty good running back who actually showed his ass last week. Um so if we stick to the basics, I have a really, really, really, really confident feeling in the Eagles. I'm not tripping. Now, if we lose this game in a in a heartbreaking fashion, I'm not gonna be too upset. But if we lose, like the Rams come in, it's punch us in the mouth, pause, and and take our and take our jewelry, yeah, we'll it's shaky.

16:18SPEAKER_06:It'll get shaky after that. That then then I might, I might hit the panic button. I might. But right now, no panic. No panic. Can't panic.

16:30SPEAKER_04:I I was I was saving, saving my little, my little banter. I'm I'm gonna keep it real light though. Philly, uh, I don't know. I just don't know. Yeah, like I said, like Mont said, you should like it's early, but you know, wins the winds are wins and loses losses and losses. But the things is, you know, Titans are the Titans. Those are those you got gimme games, you know, third string quarterback got gimme games. You know what I'm saying? Eagles deep end should look strong, and like Mont said, it's like nothing's changed.

17:03SPEAKER_04:It's like it's the same. But even if it is the same, it's really not the same. Because like I lose to Jordan's points most times when you lose people, and I mean it is true, but you also gained people, like like Jordan said before the season started. We get we just got this person, or we got this person, so this is gonna look different, things are gonna look different, and uh I don't see nothing different. I don't see nothing different. And Jalen Hurts is still like what like what was that last night?

17:31SPEAKER_04:150 and like you threw for 150 yards. This is this is starting to don't don't have the narratives as it's starting to look like you need AJ Brown now, you know what I'm saying? Yeah, because it's gonna start happening. Yo ass can't get up over 175, you barely get up to 200, and it's not even the fact that it was against the Bears defense, it's just it looks bad always around. I mean, no Dallas Goddard this week. That's one thing that takes away one element of the offense, but where, like you said, Saquon's averaging six yards a run, and you take the ball out of his hands, that's how you lose the game.

18:06SPEAKER_04:So, yeah, I'm not I'm not taking Philly by just that stretch. Like you get Saquon happy first quarter, and then you just take the ball out of his hands, you're gonna lose the game. But history shows, like Mott said, hey man, y'all own them. Don't own the Rams. It's like y'all just have a specific game plan to own them. Um, but give me the Rams, give me the Rams and a bounce back. Uh they just can't sit with the Rams, they just can't take their foot off the gas pedal.

18:34SPEAKER_04:Like they just have a tendency to kind of do that. Like, y'all, y'all, y'all gas pedaling, keep going. It's like the Jags did last week. They got that last touchdown. It was like, yeah, they had the game wrapped up, but then they sealed that bitch. It was wrapped, but with the ziploc bag on the end, it wasn't closed all the way. They when they closed that shit and put put the stamp on it. So that's what I feel as though the Rams are gonna come back to do this week.

18:58SPEAKER_04:Put the stamp on the game. If it's 23-6, make it 30 to 6. Um, and shout out to uh Kyron Williams last week. Uh was that no touchdowns and still 20 plus points? Yeah. Uh-huh. Yeah, that's good. That's good sightings, though. Anytime a running back can get 20 more or more points in fantasy without a touchdown, you're winning. You're winning on that one. Uh, I can see that final score being somewhere like 27-20, though. I can see it being up there.

19:31SPEAKER_06:All right, the next game. We got the Denver Broncos traveling. Not too far, but it's a far enough for them where they play the San Francisco 49ers. Hey, yo. That's gonna be a good game. 49ers, bro. I don't, but here's the thing. I don't see Brock Purdy taking a dip with this. You gotta think. He plays the Rams twice a year. Plays the Rams twice a year. Oh, bro. What plays the C O Spread was the spread? Oh, I'm sorry. The spread is plus three and a half for the Broncos, the over and under is 47 and a half, and the money line is plus 124 for the Broncos.

20:18SPEAKER_06:I'm I'm still none of this changes my mind. I'm still taking the 49ers. The 49ers are just clicking on all cylinders right now. But we see we see this happen a lot with when teams start hot and then they just fall off a cliff. Like it's happened for most of our teams in in this chat, in this, in this fantasy group. Like, it's happened. We've seen it. So shoot. No, bro, it's not really a shot because the Eagles did the same thing. The Eagles did the same thing a couple years ago.

Christian McCaffrey is getting is about to get it going. Um Jalen Waddle is questionable, but does that really matter in this situation? I'm not sure. Give me the 49ers. So I'm the opposite, bro.

21:44SPEAKER_07:I am um who's home? The 49ers. Uh, that hurts. But um, I'm gonna rock with the Broncos. Reason is I think they're about to get punched in the mouth. This is the best defense they're going against. When they played the Rams, the Rams. travel there like the day before. They had they had heavy leads. They wasn't ready. I think uh the Broncos that win against um the Rams was a statement game and they're coming to this next game with a lot of swag and they know how important it is.

22:14SPEAKER_07:I think the defense is gonna neutralize the Niners offense. And then we have Mike at Mike Evans a little questionable coming into it. And um I see uh again they just need to start faster on offense because the defense is always going to keep them in the game. And uh I think Sticke said it earlier it's just uh with Furdy we haven't seen him against uh elite defense yet throwing out the Rams because of where they played at and I think this is going to be a big challenge for them and I think uh the the Brock the Bron Broncos is going to take it on.

22:50SPEAKER_04:Uh not enough elements for me. I'm gonna go nine and not enough elements to trust for the Broncos for me. There's enough in Sam Fran that are healthy even a questionable Mike Evans coming in I'm still taking a questionable Mike Evans at less than 100% with Kittle being 100% and being you know and McCaffrey and the boys and all of that like they look good. You know what I'm saying? And the Niners really only looked bad. Like what were the real reasons why we were calling the Niners bad last year?

23:21SPEAKER_04:Because they kept getting hurt. You know what I'm saying? It was every week somebody was dropping off like all of the like the first in the same frequency though. Like last year it was like they were losing player by player I think one game last year they lost like three linebackers all in one game. Like and it's not the same over the uh first couple weeks and and by week five last year they had hella people on injured reserve it's not the same case this year so far.

23:52SPEAKER_04:So I I I like the night of chances I like CMC looking healthy after you know they were questionable about that coming into the year he's looked good especially after what they did week one with his touches yeah they were screaming at that after week one of fantasy oh man Calon Black go get the touch it's like how y'all know that just wasn't theoretically the game plan we're not about to roll him out week one you feel me to to push all of his energy out the first week of the damn season nah because we got a whole lot of season to play so you know I I trust what they're doing over there in San Fran right now.

24:25SPEAKER_04:As far as Denver goes again just not enough. You know what I mean what can you trust off of off of this conversation alone what can you trust can you really trust him you know what I'm saying outside of that who are you trusting in the receiver pool like outside of Jalen Waddle right now something ain't making no noise ain't nobody making no noise Pat Bryant hey you funny as hell Pat Bryan got got the got that now the last last couple of possessions of that game start out Pat Bryan but uh but hey it's again until Denver really like click clicks and I don't think that'll be this week uh I'm gonna go Niners I I don't see it right now with Denver not to say they won't uh compete I can see that find a score being somewhere like a 24 to like you know 13 type of thing 24-14 not saying they won't compete I just don't think that Denver nah I'm good and it's just their offense the defense will still be the defense purdy will struggle but I I'll say struggle to the side of like three touchdowns maybe two pits 250 plus yards type shit to still get his shit off but he might turn the ball over yeah I I think that I think Bonex and the Denver run game is gonna struggle more than Brock Purdy and Christian McCaffrey I'm gonna go Niners too I do like Denver's defense but I don't think the Niners are the kind of team that's gonna uh fade out the way the Rams did last week I think the Niners have more discipline to not let that happen like that with the Niners discipline though the Niners are getting all these injuries they they still have the discipline to Fred Warner bro make up with what they got fucking Fred Warner might be the best linebacker in the fucking game for real he's been for the last few years yeah like that boy is really commander and chief on the field type shit he'd really be making the calls and he really be out there all right so I was going back and forth for which game I wanted to say next but it only made it only makes sense to keep it this way we have the battle of the undefeated we have the Kansas City Chiefs taking a trip to Las Vegas to play the Raiders the spread the spread is minus two and a half for the Chiefs uh over another 47 and a half and a money line of minus two twenty five Chiefs um I'm gonna just keep it real this might this might be an upset y'all I think the Raiders might win this one but I'm nervous I'm nervous because the main thing I'm only nervous because the only reason why I'm nervous is because this might be the best scene that the Raiders have cleaned the boss season so we're gonna see what they really look like versus I don't want to say top notch competition but it is top notch competition so I'm I'm picking the Raiders to win this game at home um it's gonna get real real loud and we we're gonna see what um we're gonna see what it's gonna be about I think it's gonna be a quarterback duel too I think it's gonna be a a duel of the quarterbacks honestly I do think that but we will see we will see I'm actually with you JD um I'm taking the points though I have the Raiders winning um just looking at the Chiefs uh opponents they played Miami struggled they beat the Colts by a last minute field goal and who did they open up the season against um I want to see the Raiders the Broncos the Broncos the Broncos played the Broncos and that was a tight game I just feel like um this is a division game as well the Raiders are playing real good ball Brock Bowers coming back he doesn't seem stoppable at all and I think fantasy I mean sticky you have a good fantasy week I think Ginsey gonna have a breakout game um I I just um but I'm taking it with the point so even if they lose by field I'm still good um we're going with the Raiders crazy I'm gonna piggyback that shit as much as I didn't want to discuss this game or try to replace it with another one uh I'm actually gonna go I'm gonna go offset alert my damn self um it it's just it's just again for me just to say Raiders could possibly go 4-0 is like ludicrous as hell but uh yeah it is what it is it's the NFL it is what it is and it's like next man up just like his next team to possibly be good again I guess um they're not playing upset alert every week obviously but the fact that the Raiders opened the season um what was that uh I think they upset it was the Chargers I think that the Chargers right yeah they opened it up against the Chargers and they upset the Chargers for what we knew after week one granted we know the Chargers what they look like now but you know it wasn't the case then and then stopping out the Dolphins I mean call it what you want to call it there that that was supposed to be the game of two teams that we didn't think were good one of them still isn't one of them showed you a little bit more of a dominant factor on the dominant side and then last week the Saints were coming in hot you know I mean well they didn't play a non-hot Saints team like a Saints team that was in the water like no they played Tyler Shark after Tyler Shark had a decent week.

30:52SPEAKER_04:So you know I'm saying they they slowed a lot of that down at some point during that game last week so I give a little bit of Raider love I guess and for fantasy implications like y'all said to me before we started uh got the double tight ends because now we kind of got to put throw some love to Michael Mayer I guess I mean he scored last week with Bowers still there and they both wound up scoring. So you know gotta say something for that uh I agree with Mont's take on Gensi having a breakout week it's a division game so division games means the key players touch the ball a lot more so as yeah I mean ball could be in Genty's hand plenty of times during this game.
