Welcome to GSA 101 brought to you by Elevate GSA: where we turn GOVSPEAK into a language YOU speak. My name is Hannah Struss and I have Collin Hartsell here with me and we are going to be discussing the latest refresh to the MAS Solicitation, refresh #9.
· Refresh #9 has a handful of changes that will be implemented via Mass Mod in December 2021. Contractors will have 90 days to log into the Mass Mod portal and accept the refresh.
· There was one webinar offered by GSA no November 29, 2021 from 1-2 PM, however, they only sent out the email announcing this webinar the day before so I am guessing most of you missed it. If you would like to read GSA’s announcement and summary of this refresh, we will have a link in the show notes for you guys. On this page you will be able to read a brief synopsis, as well as download attachments with hyper specifics about the changes included in this refresh.
· Here is an outline of general changes you can expect to see with this refresh:
· You will see various changes to SCP-FSS-001: the document of instructions for all new offers.
· Implement decommissioning of the Vendor Education Center (VEC): Pathways to Success and the Readiness Assessment will now be accessed through the MAS Roadmap page, which we will also be linking down below for you guys.
· Implement a change in the format of the MAS Solicitation table of contents.
· Implement various changes to the Offer and Modification Price Proposal Templates (PPTs). These are mostly just updates to bring greater clarity and consistency to the documents as a whole. For instance, the TDR section will no longer have a column for an MFC, as that information is not applicable to TDR participants.
· Incorporate several clause and provision updates which we will link you guys to down below.
· Several SINs will also see updates to their titles to bring about greater clarity regarding what services or products should fall under the SIN. We won’t go into all of them here, but you can see a comprehensive list on GSA’s interact page which we have linked down below!
