Welcome to GSA 101 brought to you by Elevate GSA: where we turn GOVSPEAK into a language YOU speak. My name is Hannah Struss and I have Collin Hartsell here with me and we are going to be talking about MAS Refresh 10 which was released in March/April of 2022. Sorry to everyone for having lapsed in our episodes lately but we are going to get everyone caught up here as fast as we can!
Today we will be discussing a brief overview of the changes seen from MAS Refresh 10. We will link down below where you can find exact specifics of this refresh should any of these apply to you and you need to dive further in.
· As part of this refresh, GSA put out clarifying language around remanufactured products only being allowable under certain SINs. Refurbished, reconditioned, and repaired items are not allowed to be sold under any SIN
· The Service Contract Labor Standard (SCLS) Wage Determinations were updated to increase the minimum wages for nonprofessional federal contractors. This includes an update to the Wage Determination (WD) numbers as well.
· Updates were made to the clause regarding contract extensions into the next option period
· AS far as Large Category, Subcategory and SIN updates, you will see the following:
i. Office Management will have revised SIN descriptions for several of their SINs (339940, 339940OS4, and 339940OVER)
ii. Facilities SINs 541513 and 561210SB will be combined under 561210SB. 541613 will be deleted
