Speaker 2:Yeah, but like. for your dough rise. That was the ultimate but do I get pussy though response. But does the dough rise? Do I get bitches?
Speaker 4:Do the dough rise. Have you ever made anybody get an abortion?
Speaker 2:Jesus Christ.
Speaker 1:Why you trying to jam me up? Like you one of those black women that try to jam a nigga up in the years later.
Speaker 5:Oh my God.
Speaker 2:That clip goes viral years later like your mom made a woman get an abortion.
Speaker 4:Let me rephrase.
Speaker 1:Yes, please.
Speaker 3:Have you ever had sex with a consensual partner and you guys decided together that a child should not come from this interaction?
Speaker 1:Yeah, of course.
Speaker 4:While she was pregnant?
Speaker 5:Yeah.
Speaker 2:Oh, okay, cool.
Speaker 4:Because we was just making, because you said gay or the plumbing.
Speaker 1:I mean, how far along?
Speaker 4:So your plumbing not off.
Speaker 1:Like a month pregnant, like maybe six weeks. I don't really count, dude. That's like a little tadpole. That don't really count. Does it?
Speaker 2:I'm pro-choice, whatever a woman wants to do with her body. No, no, no.
Speaker 1:It was her choice. You know what I mean? I was happy about her choice, though. I celebrate. I rejoiced in her choice.
Speaker 2:Yes. You were celebrating your democratic duties.
Speaker 1:Exactly.
Speaker 2:You're just so liberal that you had to do that. Right. What's the name of the chick from Girls?
Speaker 1:Which one?
Speaker 2:She was super talented. Like the main one that wrote everything. She said she was jealous. that she hadn't had an abortion yet, because she wanted to go through that experience and feel what women felt. And then they canceled the series. She was super talented. And Girls was a phenomenal fucking show. Hold on, hold on.
Speaker 1:Did she actually say that? Because we already got some about saying names.
Speaker 2:All allegedly.
Speaker 1:All alleged.
Speaker 2:It was an article, man. Yeah, but I don't know. It was her quote.
Speaker 1:Yeah, I don't know.
Speaker 2:I'm just saying it's allegedly. Well, we can't talk about that case more. It's still pending.
Speaker 1:Yeah, exactly.
Speaker 2:How'd you feel about your dissertation swag? Dissertation?
Speaker 1:What do you mean?
Speaker 2:What's that called? Deposition swag. Dissertation. What the fuck am I talking about? That's why we're in this fucking situation now. Oh, oh. Your deposition swag? Am I cool with the lawyers?
Speaker 5:Yeah.
Speaker 1:I don't know. To me, they were cool.
Speaker 2:They were cool.
Speaker 1:It was formalities, legalities.
Speaker 2:I did mute a few times to not laugh, but you know.
Speaker 1:They wanted to laugh. They were just like, all right, come on, man. What is this? This is, you know, this is stupid. But anyway.
Speaker 2:Another day of potting. But yes, what did you do for your birthday?
Speaker 1:I was stuck in a hurricane.
Speaker 2:Okay.
Speaker 1:Is that like an omen? On my birthday, like the skies opened up for three days. It didn't stop raining for three days. And your tweet appeared.
Speaker 5:Who was the first one?
Speaker 1:Was that like a Kendrick Lamar page?
Speaker 4:Yo, I'm fucking crying.
Speaker 1:I'm sorry. Fuck whoever was behind that page.
Speaker 4:They was waiting for your ass.
Speaker 1:They was waiting.
Speaker 2:You know, they was holding that. That's Kiera right there. That's a friend of the show. She didn't find it, though.
Speaker 3:I was going to say, somebody had sent that to me way before she did, before his birthday even happened.
Speaker 2:Somebody probably had that in the tux since like 2014. Of course. And had this on their calendar.
Speaker 1:They've been waiting 12 years for that. Get a life.
Speaker 2:I also think you're hiding kids, so... That was really going to be my... I think you have a family somewhere. You think I have kids? Like a wife. I think you have a nuclear family somewhere in New Hampshire. It takes you three hours to get here every day.
Speaker 1:So you think that I would have a family and you wouldn't know at all? Like a kid and everything? You're crazy, man.
Speaker 2:Shut up, man. You don't believe that. I don't. You don't believe that. It's fun to think about.
Speaker 1:Of course it's fun. It's fun to laugh at that. I laughed. Oh, shit. I be thinking shit. I tweeted. I did tweet that.
Speaker 5:Okay.
Speaker 2:So did any women kayak to your residence?
Speaker 1:They tried. But I was like, we'll save it for another day. The bank is open. Don't worry about it.
Speaker 4:It wasn't even that bad, though.
Speaker 5:What?
Speaker 4:It was bad if you lived on the coast. But it wasn't bad if you lived in.
Speaker 1:The middle of the city. We all live on the coast. We're from New York City.
Speaker 4:Well, the coast of the water.
Speaker 1:Shit.
Speaker 4:If you lived by some water, it was bad.
Speaker 3:If you lived in the middle of the city, it was just heavy rain.
Speaker 1:No, it was wind. It was all kinds of shit happening, baby.
Speaker 4:It was some wind. But I thought it was going to be like a hurricane.
Speaker 1:But it didn't. It was like two, three days of it, though.
Speaker 2:I didn't leave the house.
Speaker 4:I don't know.
Speaker 2:I was just wild. Just shut up.
Speaker 1:You don't even know.
Speaker 2:You don't even know what was going on out there. I was watching from the window.
Speaker 1:I didn't leave the house. It was crazy. But we haven't had days of rain like that in a long time.
Speaker 4:I don't know.
Speaker 2:I felt like it's been raining for all of 2026. To the point that my roof has given in and I.
Speaker 1:All summer in New York, it definitely rained a lot this summer. We had a very rainy summer this summer, but it wasn't like three days of consistent rain this summer.
Speaker 2:Yeah.
Speaker 1:It rained like three days out of the week this summer.
Speaker 2:But not the way. Three days straight.
Speaker 1:That was crazy. But I was like, you know, it's cool, man.
Speaker 4:I thought you were going to leave town.
Speaker 2:I was.
Speaker 1:I was. I wanted to. Everywhere I looked, it was raining. It was raining. I looked at like four different island destinations. It was raining the whole week. I was like, you know what, man? Because there's nothing worse than flying to an island.
Speaker 2:And it's raining.
Speaker 1:And it's raining. And you just sitting in the fucking villa just looking outside and listening to Bob Marley. It's like, nah, bro. I could have stayed.
Speaker 4:Nah, that's fire, though. That sounds peaceful. You in a villa.
Speaker 1:I can't go in a pool. I'm not going to be in a pool while it's raining. That's just like.
Speaker 2:Sure.
Speaker 4:You wear a t-shirt in a pool?
Speaker 1:Do I wear a t-shirt in the pool?
Speaker 6:Yeah.
Speaker 1:Why would I wear a t-shirt in the pool?
Speaker 3:People be doing that. Rory don't be in a pool chest out. Like he be having like a little.
Speaker 2:I did that one time and that was at Amara's swim lessons. Cause I didn't know proper protocol when you're in the pool with kids. So I was fully garment down. I didn't know how you were supposed to dress. He don't want to end up on that list so bad. He don't want to show his nipples. Roy think he got to cover his nipples around kids. Did I ever tell you one of the most traumatic things ever said to me?
Speaker 1:No.
Speaker 2:I was running in Lincoln park. This was, I think I might've still been in college and I had my shirt off and I was running around in the park in the summertime and there was a bunch of kids running like they were in high school and one of them yelled he got pink nipples and everyone started dying bro i was okay there it is i was devastated there it is that's the trauma look how fast we identified the trauma he got picked i was like oh no rory.
Speaker 1:Is self-conscious about his pink areolas and he didn't want to have him around kids because they probably would have thought that they were like.
Speaker 2:Peach rings pause oh my god all right.
Speaker 4:We're entering into territory.
Speaker 2:That's his trauma. I'm insecure about certain things. I actually think I have very nice nipple.
Speaker 1:I don't know how I feel about that.
Speaker 2:I don't either.
Speaker 1:I don't know about how a man saying he feels like he has nice nipples. What does that mean? How do you come to that?
Speaker 2:I don't have an insecurity about them as well.
Speaker 4:Who are you comparing them to?
Speaker 2:Only amongst myself.
Speaker 1:What girl told you that? Men only, men only appreciate that women tell us. Like when we were like, yo, we got nice, like nice cheekbones. A woman said that.
Speaker 2:You didn't know you had nice cheekbones until a woman.
Speaker 1:Or long eyelashes. Yeah, like you don't know you got long eyelashes or you don't know that, you know what I'm saying? You have nice skin until a woman tells you. Like you just, this is just my skin.
Speaker 2:I don't know that it's nice. Well, I only knew that because the girl cousins used to try to put mascara on my eyelashes when I was a kid and they were bigger. So they're like, would hold me down.
Speaker 1:Oh they were like those are big dims right there they tried to turn you out early.
Speaker 2:Clearly please so the people listening that that have kids the men out there can relate to this it is funny when your baby confuses your nipple with its mother's nipple like i would wake up and amara be attached i'm like amara get the fuck off my nipple yeah pause bro.
Speaker 4:You gotta throw her like pause fuck.
Speaker 1:Off get the fuck off me Amara just latching on nipples like what's going on.
Speaker 2:Right now they can barely see and shit at that age so it's like shapes and yeah that's always rough so baby do you use the house.
Speaker 3:Over you I left I think Monday our day off I went to the Bronx to see Alex but other than that I did not leave what part of the Bronx I had enough.
Speaker 4:Outside you said what what part of the.
Speaker 3:Bronx I don't fucking know The low part over, that's like right above Astoria.
Speaker 2:So, bro. Wait, above Astoria?
Speaker 4:Okay, so you know how Queens is like this.
Speaker 2:This is Astoria.
Speaker 4:And then it's that water. And in the Bronx, it's like down here.
Speaker 2:It's like Bruckner.
Speaker 1:Oh, okay. He's talking about a Bruckner.
Speaker 4:Over there, yeah.
Speaker 1:Okay. He was in the hood.
Speaker 4:A little bit.
Speaker 1:Yeah, that's the hood.
Speaker 2:I mean, is there anything that the Bruckner runs through that is not the hood?
Speaker 4:Gentrification is real, though.
Speaker 2:I call it Sobro.
Speaker 4:I was just about to say, you know they got Sobro.
Speaker 2:Sobro.
Speaker 1:I'm never referring to the South Bronx as Sobro. I'm never doing that.
Speaker 2:They put a target next to Concourse Village and it was over after that. There's nothing but high-rise condos now.
Speaker 1:They was trying to call Harlem Noma, North Manhattan.
Speaker 2:Ew, that's ugly. I'm like, that is not going to stick. Nobody is calling Harlem Noma. I mean, Hamilton Heights to me is still funny. The west side of Harlem they call Hamilton Heights. I'm like, what the fuck? Did that come... Oh, so.
Speaker 4:I guess that's technically Mott Haven.
Speaker 1:Oh, man.
Speaker 2:Yeah, you was in there. They haven't gentrified there yet. Mott Haven may just stay there.
Speaker 1:They gentrified over there. The Bloods and the Crips don't want the same blood. They gentrified the fuck out of Mott Haven. It used to just be the Latin Kings.
Speaker 5:Yeah.
Speaker 1:Oh, shit. I love the Bronx.
Speaker 4:Well, we've been away from each other for a week.
Speaker 1:Yes, we have.
Speaker 4:Did you guys miss me?
Speaker 5:Yeah.
Speaker 1:Oh, I haven't.
Speaker 4:What the fuck? I miss pink eyed peas. I came here and told him I missed him.
Speaker 1:God damn. You got pink eye?
Speaker 2:Oh, not today. So, steal them strip clothes, man. He said not today.
Speaker 5:All right.
Speaker 2:So, when did that happen? I missed a lot. I missed the whole Northeaster. I was in Atlanta for most of it. It was beautiful down there. not not oh did you go to montreal you went yeah how was it um it was amazing but one of my favorite cities man i was delayed a lot because of the storms up here but montreal was like summer you just had to fly over the bullshit yeah it's in montreal yeah so i stayed in atlanta longer than i wanted to because i wanted to be in montreal more time because i spend more time in Atlanta than I do Montreal, no disrespect to Atlanta. But Atlanta was great. Shot with Prince, did Queen's Day, hung out with Justice and Belly Gang.
Speaker 2:It was like just an Atlanta experience.
Speaker 1:Yeah.
Speaker 2:It was fun.
Speaker 1:We'll see you in Belly Gang.
Speaker 2:Yeah, we were at the LVRN office. When there's no hoes around, let's just argue rap for three hours. It was one of those nights.
Speaker 1:How do y'all still fall into those conversations?
Speaker 2:Rory starts to.
Speaker 1:The only.
Speaker 2:First of all, I did not this time. I think a lot of people that watch the pod or just our podcast listeners in general, when they see a podcaster, want to start arguing.
Speaker 4:Very true.
Speaker 1:Why Eve couldn't do that when he saw me? All right.
Speaker 2:We're going to cut. I thought we were going to have a good episode.
Speaker 1:I'm just saying. No, this is a great episode. But why Eve couldn't just start talking music with me? Because you were still about his man.
Speaker 2:It's not music.
Speaker 1:It was about the music and the lack thereof. That's all. It all stems from music though. Like I just want to be clear. It stems from this thing we love called hip hop music. That's, you know what I mean? So it's like, you see how you, you see belly gang and it's just like conversations just happen.
Speaker 2:Well, why I liked having the conversation with belly gang and his friend, his gang.
Speaker 1:His associates.
Speaker 2:I don't use it in that term. Yeah. Um, because they're all from Atlanta. So they have like a completely different perspective when arguing hip hop. So yeah, it was, it was fun, healthy conversation. Okay. Then, uh, then I got on the plane and went to Montreal. Listen, I've been to a lot of great weddings. Food has never disappointed at any wedding I've been to. So I mean this with no disrespect. Yanni slash child had the greatest food I've ever had at a wedding in my entire life.
Speaker 2:Ethiopian food, all catered. It was delicious. I like, I didn't even care about the wedding. I was like six plates in. Like, oh damn, they got married.
Speaker 1:I thought we was at a smorgasbord.
Speaker 4:Just greedy and farting around all the East African women.
Speaker 2:Listen, man, it was incredible.
Speaker 1:I know they was in there.
Speaker 2:But how do you tell your mans like, respectfully, all your cousins are beautiful?
Speaker 1:Just like that, right there. Yo, respectfully, all your cousins are beautiful.
Speaker 2:Like that whole table of cut.
Speaker 1:Let me know when y'all want to do this. Who else getting married? Because, you know, Ethiopians, Africans, they get married every week. Every week it's an African wedding. Open your IG right now. I guarantee you it's an African wedding happening. If it's catered the same way, I'm there. Man.
Speaker 2:We should do wedding crashes just for African weddings.
Speaker 1:Just the Ethiopian version? Oh, man. They know how to put, they know how to throw a soiree. Oh, no.
Speaker 2:It was a really, really, really good time. Shout out to Yanni and Lauren. Congratulations. Beautiful, beautiful wedding. Thank you for having me there. I had a blast. It was a good time. And he sat me next to D-Mile.
Speaker 1:More music.
Speaker 5:Yeah.
Speaker 1:Come on, man.
Speaker 2:And we kind of debated music.
Speaker 1:Yeah.
Speaker 2:He threw all of us in one table that was like music industry friends.
Speaker 5:Yeah.
Speaker 1:Put all of them right there.
Speaker 2:But no, it was a really good time.
Speaker 1:That's what's up, man.
Speaker 2:Montreal is still like one of the most beautiful.
Speaker 1:Oh, God.
Speaker 2:So the wedding was in like the middle of the F1 track. Okay. Okay. Like they have a park that's like super beautiful there. And on the way there, I'm like, did I type in the wrong? I feel like I'm on a fucking racetrack right now. And I'm open the map and I'm literally on the F1. Like you pulled up like a pit stop to get to the wedding. It was insane.
Speaker 1:That's dope.
Speaker 2:So, but yeah, that was really, you know, my weekend. And then had a 7 a.m. flight that got canceled. So then I spent 12 hours in Montreal airport.
Speaker 1:Um why you didn't leave.
Speaker 2:Because they said my flight was at three then my flight oh they kept i hate that i could have been a bit because they.
Speaker 1:Know they know exactly when the flight is going out yeah like they know they just like they're gonna keep telling you like three o'clock five o'clock seven nine it's like come on man i could have been and join the city. Like, I didn't have to sit at this terminal for fucking six hours.
Speaker 2:On top of that, I told Yanni at like 7 a.m., oh shit, my flight's canceled. He's like, well, come to my aunt's house. We're doing another celebration. All I'm thinking about is like, they probably have leftovers.
Speaker 1:Oh, they definitely do.
Speaker 2:So, but instead, Air Canada gave me a $ 10 food voucher, which buys you, I don't know, a bag of chips in an airport. Oh, thanks, Air Canada, for this $ 10. And then they lost my bag. And then they delivered. They were in your bag to get the $ 10. They lost my bag. Then they delivered me the wrong bag to my house. I just had somebody else's bag in my house. It was just one of those days. But I did end up getting my bag back. And the guy that delivered it was a podcast fan. And he said, yo, you saved my job. I was like, listen, man, it's clearly not the same bag.
Speaker 1:Saved his job?
Speaker 2:How? Because he dropped off the wrong bag.
Speaker 4:Oh, okay.
Speaker 2:Okay.
Speaker 3:Yes.
Speaker 1:Okay. Got it.
Speaker 2:And I called him because I pulled up after I took Amar to the allergist. And when I came back, I just see a bag covered in Supreme stickers. And I'm like, well, they tagged my bag up.
Speaker 1:That is not my bag.
Speaker 2:Yeah. And he was on his way to go deliver that. And it said three of three. So I'm looking around like my driver, like, is there three other bags? Yeah. He fucked it all up.
Speaker 5:Okay.
Speaker 1:Well, you got it back.
Speaker 2:It's all good. He said it was his Patreon money went to good use to save his job.
Speaker 1:Well, appreciate him, man. Thank you so much for that, man.
Speaker 2:And he came out of the car with big ass headphones on. I'm like, you're not even paying attention.
Speaker 1:That's why you got the wrong bag.
Speaker 2:Focus. But no, it was a really good weekend. I had a good time and skipped the storm. My roof didn't cave in, so all is well.
Speaker 1:Oh, that's good.
Speaker 2:Yeah. What do we have on the list here? Outkast Waffle House. We don't know what it is.
Speaker 4:They dropping something next month. Well, this month.
Speaker 2:October 2nd. They posted on their Instagram and on their Twitter just a Waffle House sign with Gator Belts and Patty Melts, which is a line from So Fresh and So Clean. Are we getting a new OutKast album that you can only listen to on Waffle House?
Speaker 1:Gator Belts and Patty Melts. This feels like I'm going to say this definitely feels like an album.
Speaker 2:I was going to go with just like a collab menu or something. Like, you know, like the Waffle House like laminated. I think it should be like outcast inspired.
Speaker 1:Like just for a dish?
Speaker 2:I think it's just like rename the dishes. Like Gator Belts and Patty Melts. I hope to God it's an album, but I just.
Speaker 1:I don't see it.
Speaker 4:Yeah, I don't see an album either.
Speaker 1:Why not?
Speaker 2:And how does it tie in with Waffle House? They even collabed with Waffle House on Instagram.
Speaker 1:Maybe that's the name of the single.
Speaker 2:I would hope so. I'm just not getting my hopes up that that's going to happen.
Speaker 1:Well, we definitely want OutKast music, no? Am I the only one that.
Speaker 2:No, of course I do. I just don't really see that being a thing.
Speaker 1:But what could it be? Do you think this is food?
Speaker 2:I think they're just going to dress up a Waffle House... Like, I feel like brands at this point, because we're just hit with so much shit, are just finding ways to do collabs and.
Speaker 1:Make things interesting. Yeah, but the Waffle House don't need that. Like, the Waffle House is doing numbers.
Speaker 2:I've never been in an empty Waffle House in my life.
Speaker 1:Yeah, like, the Waffle House is doing numbers.
Speaker 2:Really?
Speaker 3:Mm-hmm.
Speaker 2:Oh, you're just not going at the right hours. Oh, see? All right, now we're getting more. Maju, we're recording in real time. This just came out. It looks like it's merch. Yeah.
Speaker 4:Oh, yeah, it's merch.
Speaker 2:Sorry, we're really getting this in real time. Because before it was just a sign. All right, yeah, we're getting Waffle House outcast merch.
Speaker 4:That's kind of fire, though.
Speaker 2:I'm with it. No, I'm copping. Yeah, take that, Kith.
Speaker 4:Yeah, I kind of want that.
Speaker 2:Yeah, that's actually kind of fire. Can you only get it at Waffle House, though? Because that sucks for us.
Speaker 4:I was going to say, can y'all have it sent to us, please?
Speaker 1:What's the closest Waffle House?
Speaker 6:Jersey?
Speaker 2:No. Maryland. I know the exit if I see it, if that makes sense.
Speaker 1:Shit.
Speaker 2:Right when you hit Maryland, it's one of the first exits, and the Waffle House is right up there on the left.
Speaker 1:You can get it at OutKast.com, so it's okay. Okay.
Speaker 2:Is this why they sued Overcast? Probably. Waffle House said, we've got to dot our I's.
Speaker 1:Yeah, that is interesting that that happened and then now they're doing this collab merch with Waffle House. It is interesting that that thing came out. Was that last week?
Speaker 2:Yeah. And again, I mean, I still see people killing OutKast and I know Context Never Matters and it's a third party that owns their trademark that I don't know if they have much control over to begin with, but I'm sure they need to do some trademarking when they were doing this with Waffle House and Maybe that just got folded into the agenda. But that, I mean, if I'm overcast, I would be a little mad. Like, all right, I'm getting sued because you guys want to do t-shirts with Waffle House? Leave me the fuck alone.
Speaker 1:I mean, I get it, though. I understand it. But okay, we're getting merch.
Speaker 5:All right.
Speaker 1:I would rather music, but music and merch is kind of the same, one and the same, right?
Speaker 2:I guess.
Speaker 4:Yeah.
Speaker 2:If you view it that way.
Speaker 1:Yeah, that's okay. I'll take some merch.
Speaker 2:I just got sent an OutKast soccer jersey. Are they just trying to get rid of their inventory to make way for the new shit?
Speaker 1:Somebody just sent you an OutKast soccer jersey?
Speaker 2:Well, the company that was the third party sent it to me. That's for my size. And they sent the hoodie as well. Okay, yeah.
Speaker 1:I don't know, man. Great.
Speaker 2:I don't think it's leading to music. Three Stacks may play the flute. next to the Waffle Maker and I think that's as far as we'll get.
Speaker 3:It gotta be music though I think that's just your hopes and your.
Speaker 1:Dreams I just don't understand why they would do this collab with Waffle House and there's no music attached to it I don't think we'll ever get another OutKast album again no I think that's.
Speaker 3:Over but it is a hip hop staple and you know to stay I don't want to say to stay relevant because they'll always be relevant but it's like you know we have this historical group we can do shit like this that is cool that fans are excited about and it's gonna make us money why not It's like you're sitting at home making money off of nothing.
Speaker 2:So no brightener.
Speaker 1:Yeah, but if OutKast was to put out new music and then tour.
Speaker 2:That's mad work.
Speaker 4:Like, you see what I'm saying? That's like work. You ain't going on tour.
Speaker 1:Yeah, but I mean, I'm not going on tour because I was on tour. I took a break.
Speaker 2:No, what was the tour? It wasn't that long ago. Remember when Three Stacks had like those jumpsuits that had a bunch of different messages? That wasn't that long ago, right?
Speaker 1:Yeah, that was.
Speaker 4:Damn.
Speaker 2:It probably was over 10 years ago. But then again, by outcast standards, though, is that that long ago?
Speaker 1:By outcast standards, no.
Speaker 2:So, I mean, they have been on tour sort of recently. 2014 Festival Circuit. Oh, they were doing the reunion.
Speaker 1:Okay.
Speaker 2:Yeah, I don't really see this... 12 years? 3Stack says he doesn't want to rap anymore. He's not inspired. I don't think since he said that, he got super inspired in the last... Yeah. eight months to put an Outkast album out. I would love that, but I don't know.
Speaker 1:Well, either way, I'm getting that hoodie.
Speaker 4:Yeah, for sure.
Speaker 2:I'm getting a wild house Outkast hoodie.
Speaker 3:Who do y'all want new music from outside of people like Outkast?
Speaker 4:Like, who are you really like, damn.
Speaker 3:Like y'all always say like, I wouldn't mind new music, but like, who do y'all want new music from?
Speaker 2:Saha. Saha, for sure.
Speaker 1:He did say the music, the album's done and you know. I kind of pressed him when I saw him last month. Let me stop saying that. That word has been going around a little too loosely. Not impressed. I'm joking. That's my guy. But I bumped into him and he told me he was, you know, wrapping up the album, final mixes and things like that. And I think he tweeted or announced the story of Mr. Egot is done. So I'm looking forward to that. I would like to hear a new Belly album.
Speaker 2:Yeah.
Speaker 1:My favorite rappers. Belly, Saha, I want new music from them. I'll take new Jay-Z music too.
Speaker 4:Do you want new Jay music or would you take it? That's the difference.
Speaker 1:No, I want it. I feel like it's a certain audience that appreciates that type of rap. And that is looking forward to what Jay has to say at this stage of his life.
Speaker 2:Well, you know we're in podcasting where you're not allowed to change your mind. So they're going to put this side-by-side clip with you a few months ago saying you don't want Jay-Z music. You're not allowed to change it. You have to stick with that opinion. Well, yeah.
Speaker 1:But because people are going to wait and shit on it. Jay fell off, and he's too old, and da-da-da-da. I don't want it because of that. But as just a Jay fan and somebody that grew up listening to the music, I mean, right now, just rap music sucks. There's a couple good projects. Shout out to Errol Holden. He just dropped Supreme Magnetic 3. I've been listening to that. I just had that on loop for the past 24 hours, listening to that type of rap. So, yes, I think it's certain rappers that we always need in the ecosystem.
Speaker 1:With this new age and with this new generation that's doing this, it's cool, but it's just a certain level of rap that I just appreciate that I think those artists kind of like get discouraged of dropping music in a, in a climate like this. Cause it's like, they feel like it's not going to be appreciated. And, you know, you still, to an extent have to play the numbers game and things have to perform well and all of those things. But, you know, that's why I said, I'm looking forward to the side high project. Cause that's always high level raps. Um, belly is just one of my favorite rappers ever. And one of the greatest songwriters ever.
Speaker 1:So to hear new music from him, I would, I'm always down for that. Um, but yeah.
Speaker 2:Um, this isn't really anything to do with the Janae album, but it is a plus. I would like to hear some new big Sean music. Okay. I feel like it's been a minute. And in my opinion, Sean always delivers great albums. I mean, that's obviously up for opinion, but you know, it's been, it's been what, two, two, three years since we've gotten some Sean music. I feel like he has a lot to say outside of just the Janae thing. I think he's been through a lot of stuff that I would, you know, like to hear from um i hope tiana taylor did not retire oh.
Speaker 1:Yeah she said she retired right yeah i mean tiana she just like she was i'm always nominated for oscar like she got other she got big shit happened.
Speaker 3:That movie money be good i'm not fighting big shit happening industry artists niggas fighting for points like.
Speaker 1:She held her own next to fucking dicaprio and sean penn like two fucking Hollywood icons.
Speaker 2:Yeah.
Speaker 1:And like held her own on screen. Like, yeah, I don't think we get no Tiana album no time soon. I mean, just as a fan, I would love a Tiana project. I could see Tiana getting like a Bond girl role.
Speaker 4:Okay.
Speaker 2:I could see her being Bond, the first female Bond. The first female Bond. Like, I could see her in that type of role where it's like... Or a Lara Croft.
Speaker 1:That too.
Speaker 2:Right. Yeah.
Speaker 1:Any type of sexy spy.
Speaker 2:She'd kill Catwoman.
Speaker 5:Yeah. Yeah.
Speaker 1:Destroy. We don't need Catwoman again.
Speaker 2:You didn't like how Halle was playing basketball? Don't do that to my bitch.
Speaker 1:I love Halle. Y'all know I love Halle Berry. That's my old time.
Speaker 4:That was just bad writing though.
Speaker 2:That wasn't... It was terrible writing.
Speaker 4:It was bad writing. Yeah, we don't... We just need a better writer for the character.
Speaker 1:So like introduce.
Speaker 2:Are you talking about a Catwoman movie or bring Catwoman back.
Speaker 1:Into the new Batman? Because it's a difference.
Speaker 4:Well, Catwoman has already been back into the new Batman.
Speaker 2:Yeah. A couple of them, actually. Yeah, but they be rotating who plays that stuff.
Speaker 1:That was Anne Hathaway, right?
Speaker 3:It depends on the iteration of Batman that they're doing. So Anne Hathaway was Bruce's Catwoman. And then when they switched it to Robert Pattinson, Zoe Kravitz had it.
Speaker 2:Right.
Speaker 3:She did a good job. Yeah, Zoe's a good Catwoman. So I don't think they're, that's fairly new. I don't think they're going to be looking for a new Batman and Catwoman anytime soon.
Speaker 4:Because that had the Penguin spinoff, which was really good.
Speaker 1:Just make Tiana like the Bond girl. Like, you know, James Bond going to be at the beach in Greece and then, you know, she'll come walking around the corner in supreme shape. And it'll be a British guy who's now attracted to this beautiful black woman who just happens to be one of the most wanted women in the world. I could see Tiana playing that role. I could see that for her.
Speaker 2:And she do the soundtrack.
Speaker 1:Yeah, have a song on there.
Speaker 2:Killed two birds with one stone there. I saw that Solange was in the studio. I'll take it.
Speaker 4:I'll always take it.
Speaker 2:There was a little video of her in the studio. And it looked like one of those earthy, cool studios where it's like, I'm really here to make music type of thing. Solange, yeah, this was a clip. She was with Summer. Which is another one. A Summer and Solange record would be.
Speaker 4:I'm ready to be bitter and heal at the same time.
Speaker 5:Yes.
Speaker 2:Need that.
Speaker 1:Bitter and healed.
Speaker 2:Need that.
Speaker 1:Women are so crazy.
Speaker 3:Tell that nigga he ain't shit, but tell him that he's also just a victim of systemic racism and oppression.
Speaker 4:And that's why he's oppressed. Like, come on, Solange.
Speaker 1:So you understand why he ain't shit?
Speaker 3:Yeah, we understand why, but we still gonna request better from you. I understand why you ain't shit, but I request better from you.
Speaker 1:I can respect that. Understand. Understand my pain and my story. And then try to meet me somewhere halfway and make it work. I respect that.
Speaker 2:Yeah, well, I mean, Solange, top of my list. But we also were getting Victoria Monet music.
Speaker 1:That new Victoria single was incredible.
Speaker 4:Reach out. That one or the other one? Or the slower one?
Speaker 2:I don't know. Juicy?
Speaker 4:You talking about Juicy or Reach Out?
Speaker 1:The one which is like four of her in the video. It's four victorious.
Speaker 4:That's the one?
Speaker 1:That song is fire.
Speaker 2:Well, she put out the track list, Frequency of Love, which has SZA, Lucky Day, Bruno Mars, Bryson Taylor, Khloe, and Leon Thomas as features. I ain't gonna lie.
Speaker 1:That's some, that's some.
Speaker 3:They reached deep in their bag for that. Who, who she signed to? They went in their pocket.
Speaker 2:She was RCA. I think she still is. Um, that's why I love you with Bruno Mars. That, that might, that might go diamond already just by the title and it being Bruno Mars.
Speaker 4:Yeah.
Speaker 2:That's why I love you with Bruno Mars. Like, yeah, that's all he has to say on there.
Speaker 1:That sounds like you're going to hear that every time you walk past.
Speaker 2:That's me. New wedding song.
Speaker 1:Every time you walk past the floor.
Speaker 2:Yeah. Uh, Single with Bryson Tiller. Smash already. Bryson getting his single shit off.
Speaker 1:Come on. What is the name of the song where it's four Victorias in a video?
Speaker 4:Juicy, I think you're talking about.
Speaker 1:Is it called Juicy?
Speaker 2:I mean, Juicy is on the album.
Speaker 1:I love that song. That song is dope.
Speaker 4:Victoria is dope.
Speaker 2:Victoria is a perfect artist.
Speaker 1:Victoria is incredible.
Speaker 3:Victoria is a perfect artist. I don't think she gets her just due. She really is a perfect artist.
Speaker 1:Well, she, you know, Victoria, she's had her time in the industry. She was, you know, writing.
Speaker 4:Writing and stuff, yeah.
Speaker 1:I think even singing background for a few people.
Speaker 2:Yeah.
Speaker 1:She's had her, you know, she has her time in. Maybe not as much time as a solo artist, but she's put her time in the industry for sure.
Speaker 2:Who do we think You Hurt Me Too is about?
Speaker 1:You Hurt Me Too?
Speaker 5:Yeah. Yeah.
Speaker 2:That's a good I mean you don't want to be on the other side of that pen I know that I hope that's a I'm not taking any accountability type of record if you my face being hurt will you hurt me too bitch.
Speaker 1:That's the angle you hope Victoria took yeah okay and I hope it's about.
Speaker 3:You gotta chill boy alright bleep it out thank you why why are we bleeping at I don't know.
Speaker 1:Bleeping it or keeping it.
Speaker 3:Bleeping it or keeping it is a game. We should play that game on our Patreon one day where we just make statements.
Speaker 2:Bleep it or keep it. Bleep it or keep it.
Speaker 1:All right. I'm stamping it. Nobody's still at bleep it or keep it. Bleep it or keep it. Ryan, table that.
Speaker 2:Well, the first one was, as you can tell now, was bleeped. So I didn't stand on business for the first bleep. You're supposed to keep that. I would have kept that.
Speaker 1:And we should be able to go take something that you bleeped. I should be able to take that. Like I should be able to un-bleep that. Yeah, I'm going to steal your bleep.
Speaker 2:You know how Colin Jost and Michael Che do like the joke swaps on Christmas for SNL? What if we went for every Christmas, went back to old episodes and we get to un-bleep certain things that the person's really, really stir shit up?
Speaker 1:Yeah, we can do that. We'll go back and look at some of our most infamous bleeps and be like, yo, what you bleeped right there?
Speaker 4:Nah.
Speaker 2:Because I can't remember a lot of shit I bleeped. Neither can I.
Speaker 1:I can't remember a lot of shit I bleeped. I just can't remember it.
Speaker 4:If me and P say bleep it, we don't need to go back and uncover it.
Speaker 2:It was bleeped for a reason.
Speaker 1:No, but I'm just saying if we pull up the clip and we bleep something, I would like to guess.
Speaker 4:Oh, guess what we bleeped. Okay, I'm with that.
Speaker 2:Yeah.
Speaker 5:I'm not bleeping random words.
Speaker 1:Like, what's up?
Speaker 2:Like what you bleeped right there. You know what they're going to say.
Speaker 1:You know what he bleeped. Yeah, you know what he bleeped.
Speaker 3:Like next time Rory go to say, what's up, my brother, just bleep the brother.
Speaker 2:Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Speaker 1:Definitely bleeping brother. Don't call me brother. Don't do that.
Speaker 2:Now I can never even say please.
Speaker 6:No.
Speaker 2:Bleep it. Maul, you see Damaris over there just overpaying for wireless?
Speaker 1:She does that from time to time.
Speaker 2:It's crazy. Boost Mobile has proven, Damaris, that you do not have to overpay for great wireless. Unlock the savings with $ 25 a month forever unlimited plan.

Speaker 2:Anyways, what else do we have on this list? I like Meg's new freestyle. I don't know why everyone's killing it, man. I didn't hear it. She raps about the same shit, so does everyone else. Is it Klay?
Speaker 5:Huh? No.
Speaker 1:She rap about Klay? No.
Speaker 2:They rap about the same shit, but like every rapper, she rap about the same shit.
Speaker 4:Ryan, you can play that clip right there so more people can hear it.
Speaker 1:Sounds good. You're killing her for that? I mean, they're saying it's the same thing?
Speaker 4:They said Meg rap about the same thing. They said she has the same.
Speaker 1:All right, we can't do that. See, this is the problem I have with niggas. We can't say Meg wraparound about the same thing. when 97% of rappers rap about the same thing.
Speaker 5:Yeah.
Speaker 2:The ones that don't is why we call them goats because they rap about different shit.
Speaker 1:Yeah, like, come on, man. Don't do that to Meg. Like, don't make her the, yo, she rapping about the same thing poster girl. Like, don't do that. Because 97% of you rappers, I could play all of your albums and they all, the content is the same. You niggas is in Miami with a rollie, top down, like, bussing bottles. Like, all right, man.
Speaker 2:And they don't rap as bad as well as her.
Speaker 5:Yeah.
Speaker 2:And that's my thing. Same flow.
Speaker 5:Okay.
Speaker 2:There's a lot of rappers with the same flow. That's not as intricate as Meg's. Say, yeah, you got the same flow too. And it sucks. At least Meg actually has a good flow three times and.
Speaker 3:People don't understand. And I'm not, this isn't, this isn't a diss to Nikki cause Nikki's amazing. And this isn't her fault, but Nikki came out and made rapping animated. So they think if you're not switching the pitch of your voice, that you're not switching your flow. That is a completely different thing. If you rap monotone but switch your flow, they're like, oh, you sound the same on every record. You're not switching your flow. She is switching her flow. She's not switching the pitch of her voice.
Speaker 3:She doesn't sound like three different girls in one song. That's what people are getting confused with because that's what people, the female rapper that people grew up listening to.
Speaker 1:You're right, Damaris, but I think deeper than that. I think people have just put Meg in this thing where it's just cool to kind of like not like Meg.
Speaker 2:Yeah, I think that is a lot of it.
Speaker 1:I think Meg is unfortunately in that space of she has a section or a whole sector of people that just don't like her. And no matter what she does, as soon as she puts something out, they're going to express some type of disdain or dislike for it. Because if you're saying she rap about this, come on, man. Don't do that.
Speaker 2:She's become the poster woman for the Twitter accounts that ironically all tweet about the same shit and it's hating women. Right. Anytime you typically see that from a man that's tweeting about Meg, just go to his page. He raps about the same things too. It's complaining about women in every tweet.
Speaker 1:It's the same thing. Like don't.
Speaker 3:The women, but the women, the women have been turned on Meg. The women have been turned on Meg and y'all know why, but I can't.
Speaker 2:Say it cause I'm a woman.
Speaker 4:So I'm just shut up.
Speaker 1:Okay.
Speaker 2:And this is, this is no, uh, Beef with the Barbs, just using this as an example. The women that are tweeting about this, if you click their page, is it like Lexi Minaj?
Speaker 4:No, there's other women too.
Speaker 3:But Meg became a hit piece for women when she locked one of their favorite R & B singers up.
Speaker 4:That's when Meg became a hit piece for women.
Speaker 1:She didn't lock anybody up. If you let them tell it. If you look at the court documents, that says the state of California versus.
Speaker 4:If you let them tell it.
Speaker 1:It's like, I mean.
Speaker 2:With evidence of a jail call.
Speaker 1:Yeah, like I just don't, you know, you can't put that on me.
Speaker 4:If you let them tell it. And it also be a lot of women like.
Speaker 3:People don't be fans of like hip hop music.
Speaker 2:They just be fans of like artists. Yeah, of course.
Speaker 3:So it's like you're not a fit like complaining that Meg raps about the same thing. I'm sitting up here like there's no way y'all listen to hip hop because most. And then I bought a Pusha T and they said, you're comparing Meg to Pusha T. I said, no, I'm not comparing them skill wise. What I'm saying is Pusha's been rapping about coke.
Speaker 2:For the longest. Well, he's rapping with other stuff, too. Yes.
Speaker 4:And so has Meg. But that's great, yeah. The core of his rap.
Speaker 1:Yes, pushing raps for other things, but he ties it into.
Speaker 4:Yeah, he gonna tie it into.
Speaker 2:He gonna tie it in.
Speaker 1:I just bought a new home.
Speaker 2:Built with bricks? Brick by brick.
Speaker 3:It's more leaving the space on it for us.
Speaker 2:Yeah, I know what I'm going to say. I just bought a new home.
Speaker 4:Brick by brick.
Speaker 2:Yeah.
Speaker 1:Yeah, so it's like it's essentially the same. You find different ways to just say the same thing. Like, I think that's, you know, a skill set in rap and in making music. Like, you know, the content is still there. You just find different ways to talk about it. Like, Jay still talks about street shit. It's just how he talks about it. Mm-hmm. You get what I'm saying?
Speaker 2:So essentially, it's the same thing.
Speaker 1:It's I've now developed a way to just say it differently and to kind of like tie it into something that's not illegal. And, you know, just that that's part of just growth, maturity and, you know, developing just an extensive vocabulary to kind of, you know, give people what they're familiar with, because then of the day, it's rap. It's a it's a art form from the streets. So it's always going to have street elements in it. Well, yeah, I mean, you can't say Meg is rapping about the same shit.
Speaker 2:And it just so happens pussy is part of the streets, too.
Speaker 1:Yeah. If there was no pussy in the streets, I wouldn't be out there.
Speaker 2:What do you think they hustling for? Yeah.
Speaker 3:And let's be fucking real. Like, and here's the thing, bro. Nobody's being honest about this shit. Oh, we want something different. We want something different. You niggas don't go and listen to Rhapsody. So, like, y'all do, right? Because you, like, actually like hip hop.
Speaker 1:No, I get what you're saying.
Speaker 5:Yeah.
Speaker 3:The masses, you niggas is not pumping Rhapsody up the way that you're supposed to. She doesn't have the career that she deserves off of her talent and her fucking, the shit that she talks about.
Speaker 4:Y'all don't really care.
Speaker 3:So like stop pretending that you care about raps that go deeper than surface level because you don't give a fuck. Megan's music that she's made that goes deeper than surface level, y'all don't listen to it. It doesn't get clipped. It doesn't go viral. Negativity, sex, drugs, money goes viral. Y'all highlight horrible shit. So stop putting it on artists who are trying to feed their fucking families, their kids, themselves, and create generational wealth. This is the shit that makes the money because this is the shit that y'all pay attention to and the shit that y'all uphold. So let's all stop with the fake morality police bullshit, fake purist hip hop bullshit.
Speaker 4:I'm tired of it.
Speaker 2:I really am.
Speaker 3:It's all performative as fuck. Y'all don't really care. Y'all just like shit non-black women.
Speaker 2:That's gotta be kind of annoying too for Rhapsody. Cause I understand everything that you just said. She's probably annoyed though, that every single time this type of conversation comes up with Meg or pussy rap, she has to be like the poster child for the polar opposite. And it's like, why y'all bring me up with that shit? I know what you were saying, but.
Speaker 3:It is, you are the polar opposite. So you're the easiest one to bring up.
Speaker 1:But yeah, I mean, I don't, I get what you're saying. You make a very valid point. But I just feel like, you know, if we get a new Lauryn Hill rap record tonight, she's not going to be talking about, you know, pop and pussy and all of that. And I think that a lot of people will.
Speaker 2:Listen to it.
Speaker 1:Now she's Lauryn.
Speaker 4:That's because she's a legend.
Speaker 2:Right.
Speaker 1:I get it. But it's just like, I do think there is a want for that type of rap from women. To your point, I don't think that it's something that people seek out a lot. But I do think there is there is people that it's just refreshing to hear a woman with a skill set, an emcee with a skill set and the content not be what we were used to. But to your point, it's not what we're searching for. Like we're not going looking for that shit. We appreciate it every now and then. You know, it's like it's like rainy days. You appreciate rainy days every now and again, but we love.
Speaker 2:When it's hot outside.
Speaker 1:We love when it's warm outside.
Speaker 3:And I don't think it's fair for the rapper that came out talking about, like, I came out talking about pussy.
Speaker 4:I came out big old freak.
Speaker 3:I came out, like, this is who I came out as, talking about drinking, talking about popping pussy, talking about spending your daddy money. If that's what I came out as and that's my brand, why do I have to change?
Speaker 2:But it also got so oversaturated that I think Meg gets folded into its redundant... in like masses now because there is so much like there's less i'm not saying this about meg but there's less creativity with pussy rap because missy elliott talked about her pussy all the time.
Speaker 3:Don't like they all love bringing up doja cat so does doja cat who says doja cat doesn't rap about her pussy is like no like you could have substance like doja cat i'm like do y'all listen.
Speaker 2:To doja substance don't do that but she raps about her pussy all the time but it's.
Speaker 1:Because doja is not just a rapper You get what I'm saying? Her music is very.
Speaker 4:But even her pop music be about fucking too.
Speaker 2:I just think people want creativity. I'm saying like actual music fans, not just people that want to complain on the internet. Just want some creativity in... Pussy rap. And just in general, because rap has become redundant in so many cases. It's not just pussy rap. But yes, Missy Elliott was very creative with her her pussy raps.
Speaker 4:Well, then go find there are other female artists out there. And you know what?
Speaker 3:I'll do my research and try to find them for you so that I can use our platform to uphold them, to help you all find this rap that y'all say that y'all are looking for.
Speaker 5:Right.
Speaker 3:Go find the people who make that music and leave the professional pussy rapper alone.
Speaker 2:Right. But there is not just, I know the Rhapsody is always like the one that's brought up, but I mean, there's Tierra Whack. That's incredible. Go support Tierra. Little Sims is incredible.
Speaker 4:And guess what?
Speaker 3:We come on here all the time and we bring those names up all the time and people, what, do not go fucking listen to them because y'all don't really want to hear that shit.
Speaker 4:So stop fucking lying.
Speaker 2:Tierra Whack is one of the most creative artists, period, right now.
Speaker 1:Tierra's incredible.
Speaker 2:She's so fucking good.
Speaker 1:Yeah, she's incredible.
Speaker 2:She's great.
Speaker 1:I like her a lot. But I mean. Little Sims 2, though.
Speaker 2:Yeah, I mean, her last project was.
Speaker 1:And I'm definitely going to see Doja at the Garden in December. We know. I'm in that motherfucker.
Speaker 2:It's blocked off on the calendar. You don't have to record.
Speaker 1:No, I won't be here.
Speaker 2:You can take a day of beauty to get ready for the show.
Speaker 1:I'm going to do Get Ready With Me to go see Doja.
Speaker 4:Get Ready With Me to go see Doja. You should do that, actually.
Speaker 1:No, but we was being... Okay. If I'm being funny.
Speaker 4:You can be funny.
Speaker 1:But doing a Get Ready With Me, like, can we talk about Get Ready With Me?
Speaker 4:Here we go.
Speaker 1:Yeah, I don't think that that's mental illness.
Speaker 2:No, no.
Speaker 1:You don't think getting out the bed to set a camera up and getting back in the bed to act like you're getting out the bed is mental illness?
Speaker 3:No, because when they do it for movies, do you think that that's mental illness? When you're watching a movie and you know it's fake, you know that they.
Speaker 2:Said all of this stuff.
Speaker 3:Yeah, but Denzel's not recording himself. No, there's somebody else recording, right? So there's a cut off that movie that he don't get. He don't get the director and the cameraman cut. But when these people do that and they're their own content creators, they get all of that money.
Speaker 2:And they make more.
Speaker 4:Why are y'all making fun of people who are making millions of dollars?
Speaker 2:Are you comparing a Get Ready With Me influencer video to Malcolm X?
Speaker 1:Baby D, I think a Get Ready With Me is cool. If you're making money off of brand deals and all that, great. I'm just saying, to get out of bed, set up a camera, to get back in bed. to act like I'm getting out of bed. And then if I don't like that, I got to get back in bed and do it over.
Speaker 3:Why do you think that that's, do you think it's mental illness for the people who do it because there are people who want to see it? Or do you think the people who watch that have mental illness? That's the real conversation.
Speaker 1:I think it's all like a community.
Speaker 4:I don't think so.
Speaker 3:I think as a content creator, if you're giving people what they want to see because it's making you money, I don't think that that's mental illness.
Speaker 4:I think that you're using your brain and giving people what they want. All right.
Speaker 1:So what about people that, uh, crying to the camera? Mental illness. What's the difference?
Speaker 3:Because I feel like to like, well, I think it's different because I have videos of me crying. I have never touched the Internet, but it's because I was talking. And eventually when I start when I was talking, I eventually started crying. But people who are in the middle of crying and pick up the phone and hit record, I think that's a little bit different. But I've definitely been recording myself talking about something sensitive to me and started crying in the middle of it.
Speaker 1:That's OK. You found a loophole and I like that. That's a little different.
Speaker 2:Yeah. And I like that.
Speaker 1:You can be recording yourself talking about something, right? Whether it's something that happened to you during the day or just, you know, things that you're going through that you're feeling and then emotions happen. I'm talking specifically to the people that cried during the video, stopped the video, look at it. Like, no, I don't like that. Like, and then start crying again. And like....
Speaker 2:What Damaris is saying, I don't consider those the same thing.
Speaker 1:That's just being a human and being emotional in the moment. I'm talking about knowing you're like already crying and start recording yourself crying. Like if somebody made you upset in like life and then you like just grab your phone and start recording yourself crying and telling the story. I think that's like a real... Come on, man. Like I promise you nobody.
Speaker 2:cares enough people care about your about you crying where but the marriage i guarantee you if you was crying about something that happened to you right now outside and you opened your phone to start recording yourself crying it will go viral.
Speaker 1:That don't mean people care and we got to get away from that just because.
Speaker 3:Something goes well no they don't truly care no doesn't mean they care enough to watch and that's a difference they care enough to watch.
Speaker 1:Yeah but it's a lot of things i watch that i don't care about.
Speaker 2:Majority of the things I see on my phone. I would say like 98% of the things. I don't care that much about it.
Speaker 3:No, you don't really care about it, but you care enough to watch. And if you are trying to get popularity or money, then somebody caring enough to watch is important. It don't matter if they really care when they Click lock.
Speaker 4:On April screen.
Speaker 2:Yo, pitching your crying video to a brand on Zoom? Yo, look at the analytics. If it went viral? Listen, get it how you live.
Speaker 1:I'm not judging anyone. I'm not, yeah. If I'm getting to it, get to it. But it's just like, I look at that with a little side eye. Like, it's just very awkward to me. It is.
Speaker 2:The get ready with me or the day-to-day vlogs, I'm fine with them. Like, Rory picking up the sunscreen and doing this? While I was making fun of the people.
Speaker 1:That is, no, I understand. But it's just like... This, you have to do that. That's part of like the thing now. It's like the stem. Like you have to do that.
Speaker 3:For people who like the sound of tapping, sometimes beating, sometimes smacking, sometimes it's crunching a mic.
Speaker 5:Yeah.
Speaker 1:That all has to do with something mental is what I'm saying.
Speaker 4:But it doesn't mean that there's something mentally wrong.
Speaker 2:Right. Let me not say that. I think it depends what they're doing. Women that are doing Get Ready With Me with beauty products and makeup, I don't think that's mental illness because women are interested in getting new beauty products and makeup. Right, right, right. That type of stuff makes sense. But I am with you that that first frame of every video, when you fake it out a bit, not only are you faking it, you put your arms up to stretch and it's like... This is the second time you got out of bed.
Speaker 1:You've been awake since. For two hours.
Speaker 2:Can we just start in the bathroom? Can we just start in the bathroom?
Speaker 3:But that's why I compare it to movies. because it doesn't matter for the person who's watching it. This is something you created this. You created this content and you're showing me something like you're putting on a production for me.
Speaker 4:It literally is the same thing as a movie.
Speaker 3:You don't sit up there and say, oh, y'all knew that camera was right there when y'all was fucking like.
Speaker 4:We like it's a production. It's just y'all are old.
Speaker 2:Like the Mimi sex tape. Y'all are old and it's okay.
Speaker 1:What does that mean? Y'all are old.
Speaker 3:So things, certain things that happen on the internet, I agree because a lot of things that happen on the internet are weird to me too. And it's just because the internet that we grew up on and the life that we grew up in is completely different from what these kids are growing up in. These kids don't think that that's weird. They don't think that it's weird at all because they're aware that it's a production.
Speaker 1:That's because the kids are weird.
Speaker 4:Sometimes they might look at you and think that you're weird.
Speaker 1:I hope so.
Speaker 4:But just like your forefathers looked at you and thought.
Speaker 2:That you were weird. Your forefathers? Your forefathers thought that you were weird.
Speaker 1:See, don't start talking to me about just because I turned 45. Don't put four in front of your forefathers. Don't do that.
Speaker 4:Your mama and them didn't think y'all was weird?
Speaker 1:Weird?
Speaker 2:No.
Speaker 1:I don't think my mom thought we was weird. My mom thought we were... If I could remember one thing, I could remember my mom and aunts and stuff referring to my generation as is. It wasn't weird. We were wild, I think was the word. We were wild. It was like, y'all kids these days is wild. Y'all just.
Speaker 2:And I'm like, I've seen clips from the 70s and y'all was doing the same shit. It's the same shit over and over. They just did it with more privacy.
Speaker 1:More privacy. Obviously, technology and things like that, we get to see this shit, but.
Speaker 3:I remember when my dad was saying that how tight the boy, like, you know, back in like 2013 or something, he was like.
Speaker 2:I'm behind on it.
Speaker 3:I'm walking behind niggas trying to get up the subway steps and they got these tight ass pants on with their ass hanging out.
Speaker 4:That shit is gay.
Speaker 3:And I'm sitting up here like, you niggas had on heels back in them days. Platform heels and blouses. But the niggas saying they pants is gay. Like, make it make sense.
Speaker 2:Yeah, if you pull up the album cover for, What was it?
Speaker 1:Not the Whispers.
Speaker 2:What was the name of the group?
Speaker 1:The Ozzy Brothers. You pull up one of their old... They all got on belly tops. Crop tops. Oh, yeah.
Speaker 2:I don't even know how. It started on glam rock.
Speaker 1:Yeah. That's like a whole thing.
Speaker 2:Who could look more like a chick was the thing. And yeah, my dad loved that metrosexual word. And all his photos from the 70s and 80s are like, you're metrosexual. What are you talking about? Yeah. But I mean, when I was a kid, my dad just called me the W word with a heart ER.
Speaker 1:That's, that's.
Speaker 4:He called you a wigger?
Speaker 2:All the time.
Speaker 4:What?
Speaker 2:All the fucking time. Your dad called you a wigger? That's funny as fuck. He probably would, if I answered the phone, he'd probably say. That's funny as fuck. Yeah.
Speaker 4:Your dad calling you a wigger is fucking, is fucking funny.
Speaker 1:Wait, y'all, y'all use that word?
Speaker 2:No, we didn't use the word.
Speaker 1:No, but like in y'all culture, like they, like, that's like a word.
Speaker 2:My dad, my uncles and like his generation saw the white kids, their, their sons.
Speaker 1:And yeah, that is, I never, I thought that, I thought we used that word for them. Like, I didn't know they, like, adopted it.
Speaker 3:They used that shit with the... Because we say wigger. They said wigger. Like, he meant that shit like nigger, but she was white. Just letting you know.
Speaker 2:Well, I mean, that's kind of the definition.
Speaker 4:No, but he meant, like, he had the vitriol. I just didn't know that they used that word. We say wigger, and it's not hate behind it.
Speaker 3:He say wigger like I'm disappointed my fucking child.
Speaker 2:Is out here acting like a black man. Nah, he did it more to clown me. Like, my dad really wasn't, like, that type of dad was, like, mad at that type of shit, but I guess to answer your question, like, what your parents thought was odd or weird or something they had not seen before. Because that, like, took, like... most white kids were were like that at that time whereas that was not the thing before i did not know they used that word that's funny as fuck that is fun that's hilarious i did not know y'all i thought we like that was our word for y'all like i did not know that y'all used that i always thought it was honky yeah homes that's just no.
Speaker 4:But we don't call like the ones like you honkies it's definitely weird.
Speaker 2:Can y'all bring that that word back honky i.
Speaker 1:Don't know why we got such a good word The honky tonk man was my favorite wrestler at one point. I just, and then I couldn't, I just had to call him a tank man.
Speaker 3:I never heard my parents say honky. They was definitely.
Speaker 2:Cracker. Cracker's hilarious. Why you put the ER on it?
Speaker 4:It's not cracker.
Speaker 2:Cracker. Well, it's more offensive when you're at the ER.
Speaker 1:I just never, those words we never use though. Like you've never used. I've never called a white person a cracker a day in my life. I've never done that.
Speaker 3:This is all in jest and we've not used these words. No, they don't try to get me out of here before for jokes.
Speaker 4:It's all in jest.
Speaker 1:It's a comedy podcast.
Speaker 4:Comedy podcast.
Speaker 2:My dad called me that and then the black people around me would call me white n-word. That's really all it was.
Speaker 4:Damn.
Speaker 2:Yeah, never wigger. It would be white and then the n-word.
Speaker 1:Right.
Speaker 4:Damn.
Speaker 2:Which was always a contradiction to me. Very confusing as a kid. Left me with so many questions.
Speaker 4:My dad told me he'd text you. I said, I forgot you even have Rory's number.
Speaker 2:We were texting over the weekend.
Speaker 4:Why are you bothering that man? Leave him alone.
Speaker 2:He didn't bother me at all.
Speaker 4:I was like, dad, stop texting my boss. He even said, tell him all.
Speaker 2:I said, you're. I said, will do.
Speaker 3:What and then i looked above and it was a facebook link and i'm like oh my god my dad probably be sending you the fucking facebook links telling you that black people was the original fucking kings and queens like i'm so sorry that you gotta go.
Speaker 2:I hang out with jayla i know all that i'm gonna say.
Speaker 3:I agree he's sending rory anunnaki links and shit like.
Speaker 2:I've been read all that i'm so sorry Yo, what? That's what your father said it for?
Speaker 4:Like, please, I'm so sorry.
Speaker 2:Dead Sea Scrolls and shit.
Speaker 1:Oh my God, that is funny as fuck, man. Wow.
Speaker 2:What were we talking about? Oh yeah, influencers. I give credit to the, I watch a lot of the cooking ones. If they edit those themselves, I give them a lot of credit. Those quick cuts for 75 different parts of an ingredient, that's time. I'm more impressed than what you're cooking, but you could edit that that way.
Speaker 4:That and makeup. It's very difficult.
Speaker 1:And shout out to all the content creators. I don't want to seem like I'm... It's just a lot of that shit. I'm just like, It's a little just awkward to me.
Speaker 2:You ain't the audience.
Speaker 3:But there's people that watch this podcast as much time and effort and money that we put into it and be looking at them like, this is the worst shit ever.
Speaker 4:Take the mics away.
Speaker 1:Oh, yeah.
Speaker 2:I understand.
Speaker 1:I think we need a heart reset. I think every podcast needs to go black for about two months.
Speaker 4:I'm with that.
Speaker 1:Everybody just needs to shut the fuck up. Like, it's too much. It's like, everybody just chill. Everybody's taking themselves a little too serious. Everybody's trying to be the main character.
Speaker 5:Yeah.
Speaker 1:Just shut up. Everybody relax.
Speaker 4:It's okay.
Speaker 1:Just live life. Just go outside, live life.
Speaker 2:Don't have to worry about getting on the camera and being performative and just, just be everybody's performing.
Speaker 1:Just everybody relax. Just relax. This thing is supposed to be fun.
Speaker 2:Is content creator a spectrum? Like, can we say some people that have content or not content creators? Like I think the women that do the makeup and do reviews, I think that's content creators for sure. But the women that just like do the vlogs of like, I go over here and people want to fuck me. And then I go to the next event where they want to fuck me. What part of the, where's that at?
Speaker 1:I need to follow that.
Speaker 2:I've never seen that. It's just pretty chicks going outside. Then we went to this activation and I put my leg up at the step and repeat. And then I went to the next one. Basically it's, I just go places where people want to fuck me.
Speaker 4:Okay.
Speaker 2:Is that content creating? I mean, I guess so.
Speaker 3:That's so sick that you see pretty girls and be like, oh my God, yeah, people just want to fuck her.
Speaker 2:No, I think that's what they think.
Speaker 1:I think that's what they think.
Speaker 4:They don't say that though.
Speaker 1:They think it.
Speaker 4:But they don't say that. We say it.
Speaker 2:They're putting it out there metaphorically.
Speaker 1:A content creator is a person who produces educational, entertaining, or promotional material for digital media channels and online audiences. So shout out to all the content creators out there. Keep doing what you're doing. We appreciate it. Most of y'all. Most. I'll say most. We appreciate most of y'all.
Speaker 4:The nigga that be cooking the steak on the high rock.
Speaker 1:Nah, that's my man.
Speaker 4:Love him.
Speaker 2:Nah. Yeah.
Speaker 1:Nah, my man is the nigga that be, I'm trying not to say that word no more. My man is the dude that be, he's on a kayak in the middle of the ocean and he fishes and then he like cooks the fish right there in the kayak.
Speaker 5:Oh yeah.
Speaker 2:Wait, the Australian guy?
Speaker 1:I don't know where he's from. He is a superhero. You're on a kayak. fishing grab the fish you can fillet it cook it like he be making mahi mahi like grilled salmon right there on his kayak yeah yeah homie right here this is the this is the most incredible this is content creating right here.
Speaker 2:Like, this is incredible. There's one guy that's like this in Australia. And, like, he'll just go up to, like, sea snakes and be like, come here, little fella. And, like, I'm like, yo, what are you doing? He'll jump in the middle of the ocean in Australia. But he does the same thing. He'll do the gun sword fishing and, like, bring the shit up on his kayak and just... That's lunch today.
Speaker 1:Yeah, see, that's the type of... You know, because he's not like trying to do that over and over. He's catching that one time. Yeah. He's not catching the fish. I'm like, all right, throwing it back. Like, yo swim back around buddy i'll catch you again like i.
Speaker 2:Just fucked up your mouth yeah he's doing that right there what you see is what you get that you can't fake that that's like that's awesome content creation right there to me i've been in in uh like a deli chokehold lately i don't know if it's the aki way or just delis getting into youtube shorts They're having sandwich battles to the point, how, pause, how could your mouth even fit around that sandwich? We're putting so much shit on sandwiches now. And I'm watching it because it looks delicious. But how could somebody possibly eat a sandwich that's this fucking tall?
Speaker 1:I don't know, but I know one thing. If I keep seeing that garlic butter bagel pop up on my fucking feet one more time.
Speaker 2:You gonna go get it?
Speaker 1:I got to go get it.
Speaker 2:I got to have it.
Speaker 1:I gots to have it.
Speaker 2:Oh, I know Leon's bagels must have just got some TikToker over there.
Speaker 5:Oh. Really?
Speaker 2:It's been a madhouse there for the past two weeks.
Speaker 1:Leon's Bagels?
Speaker 2:Yeah, which is great. I used to go there, but now it's like 100 people out there every morning.
Speaker 1:Yeah, that's the only bad thing. You're happy for the business, but the little low spots that I be knowing about, once a content creator goes there and it goes viral, I'm like, I can't go there for another four months now.
Speaker 3:I mean, I'm happy for you for the business and shit, but I don't like it. wanting to do it y'all like I don't I'm gonna go find somebody else but I'm happy for y'all that y'all are.
Speaker 1:Not yeah no definitely do you you know you want to see these small businesses like have those moments but there is something nice about being able to go to your favorite spot and yeah you know you can get the same table sit down you know like just.
Speaker 2:Chill same same well they know your order yeah like.
Speaker 1:You go there and the line is wrapped around a block you like oh my god like and then you hope somebody in there rec sees you from outside like and you can still just walk nah you.
Speaker 2:Can't it sounds like me at Ame now I was.
Speaker 3:Just you took the word I was about to say Rory at Ame like fam I've been here when Teddy pressed his first t-shirt.
Speaker 2:Yeah like it's just like I'm happy for y'all dope but like come on I don't need an appointment to come in here it's crazy so they gave me an appointment and it was six people in the store one time Yeah.
Speaker 1:I said, the door opened. I saw six people. I said, I got to wait out here 30 minutes because six people are shopping.
Speaker 2:Yeah.
Speaker 1:See y'all next week.
Speaker 2:And all like the people that were there in the beginning are now like on the corporate level. Like they're not at the registry anymore. So like anytime I text them, they'll be like, bro, I'm in the office at Midtown.
Speaker 1:Like, I can't help you. We love to see it, though. We love to see these small brands, you know.
Speaker 2:Oh, I got cursed out by somebody on Instagram, rightfully so. I posted a Vietnamese sandwich spot on my Instagram story. And he was like, yo, is anything sacred now? Like, what the fuck is wrong with you? Why would you post this? Which I understood.
Speaker 1:I get it, though. I understand.
Speaker 4:Especially you as an influencer.
Speaker 2:People will trust your word. I mean, listen, I do know my sandwiches. I don't like to flaunt it, but I do.
Speaker 1:You a sandwich sore?
Speaker 2:I do know my sandwich.
Speaker 4:Sandwich sore? I don't like that.
Speaker 1:You a sandwich sore? You don't like sandwich sore?
Speaker 4:I don't like sandwich sore. It doesn't roll off the tongue well.
Speaker 1:Okay. I'll try.
Speaker 4:Workshop that a little bit.
Speaker 1:Oh, yeah. I'll work on it. Yo, did y'all watch the Jay-Z in eight?
Speaker 2:Yes. I've been keeping up.
Speaker 1:It's not, the full eight is not out, but.
Speaker 5:Yeah.
Speaker 2:I watched the most recent episode last night. Even the small, small, small critiques I had of it with episode one, I completely take back. I fucking love that series.
Speaker 1:Yeah, it's dope.
Speaker 2:I really like it.
Speaker 1:I just wish Rick Rubin put some socks on.
Speaker 2:Would you trust him then?
Speaker 5:Yeah.
Speaker 1:So you think it's the barefoot Rick Rubin that I only trust?
Speaker 6:Yeah.
Speaker 2:If Rick started wearing shoes, I'd be like, something's up.
Speaker 1:Yeah. Rick is losing it. It's the Rick collection. No, it's dope though.
Speaker 2:It's dope to see Jay go through some songs and really get into the bars and the meaning behind a lot of the verses.
Speaker 1:It's dope to see that.
Speaker 2:I just like the song selection that they picked.
Speaker 1:The song selection.
Speaker 2:That's my favorite part about it where it's not so surfaced and like, tell us about Empire State of Mind. Yeah. I like that they picked like real B-side records.
Speaker 1:I like the fact that Jay said he doesn't listen to like 444. I see.
Speaker 3:He had a nigga look like he was about to cry when he played that shit. Mouth got so dry. You know when your throat start closing up?
Speaker 2:He started drinking water in the middle of shit.
Speaker 1:Yeah, but I like that though. That's just like a different level of vulnerability and you know. It's like, you can understand, like he went, he lived it. So it's like, he don't want to hear that again. Like you start like going through those motions and things again, like hearing it. Like, but I was surprised to hear that he never listened to that, that song though. Like after he laid it, that was kind of surprising. But I understand it. I get it. Like I definitely, I definitely get it. But yeah, they did a good job with that though. They're doing, they're doing a great job. There's four more left, right?
Speaker 1:Cause it's only four years. So it's four more left.
Speaker 5:Yeah. Yeah.
Speaker 2:I was actually kind of shocked he did the third verse of You Must Love Me about shooting his brother. I was actually kind of surprised because that's like something I don't think I've ever heard him like speak on outside of that actual record. And even him like surprising himself. He's like, I can't believe I wrote that at 27 years old. How did I have that deep of a thought? Because that verse is extremely deep outside of just shooting your brother. Yeah. ego, adrenaline, like that's a incredible, incredible verse.
Speaker 2:So I was shocked. He even spoke about that. Cause that's gotta be awkward. We've seen Jay around his brother a million times since. So obviously everything is okay. Yeah. But like, I don't know, does your brother want you talking about that? And he even said like, that was somewhat of an issue. Like you're talking about your family, that first verse as well, he said was a big problem with his family. And we've asked artists that before. Like, at what point can you not say certain things because you know it'll ruin your fucking personal relationships? It's got to be tough. And now you're bringing it back up fucking 20 years later. How does your brother feel about that?
Speaker 5:Yeah.
Speaker 2:Not everyone knew you shot me. Right, like.
Speaker 1:No, I mean, he said he rapped about that years ago, though. No, I know, but.
Speaker 2:What songs are you looking forward to him, like, going through? He's kind of checked, like, a lot of the ones... That I wanted him to. I love that he did the Scarface verse on Can't Be Life. That would have been one that I would really want to see. Yeah, he's kind of covered a lot of them.
Speaker 1:I want to hear him talk about Hard Knock Life because I think that's the record that catapulted Jay to a different level in his career. So I would like to hear him just talk about that record in particular, because to me, that changed the trajectory of Jay and his music. So to him, and I don't think I've ever really, I mean, obviously he's spoken about that record before, but like in this type of setting with Rick Rubin, you know, I think Rick will ask certain questions and things like that. So that's one record that I am looking forward to.
Speaker 2:New Day from Watch the Throne would be really interesting just because he was speaking on having a kid with not having one yet. I'd like to know his perspective now of that verse now that he has three kids. That could be really interesting. New Day would be dope. I just doubt they'll pick that one.
Speaker 1:You don't think he's going to do any other Kanye records?
Speaker 2:I mean, they did put out the list already, even if... The episodes on it.
Speaker 1:Oh, okay.
Speaker 2:You can see that. I'm kind of curious, Chapter 8, Legacy. I don't know if people, which we talked about when 444 came out. Of course, everyone gravitated right to kill Jay-Z and to the 444 song and everything responded to Beyonce. That Legacy verse might be one of Jay's most vulnerable verses ever. He's talking about one of his family members being fucking handsy. Mm-hmm. and that's how they're ending it. I'm curious how DP is going to get into that.
Speaker 2:Cause that goes back to exposing your family again. And that's a crazy subject to discuss.
Speaker 1:Oh, I'm glad he's doing dead presidents too. I always say, uh, if somebody never heard rap music before, I would dead presidents too, is one of the songs that I would play for somebody who is listening to rap for the first time. That will be one of the, probably the first song I will play for somebody. Um, P Rock and CL Smooth, Troy is probably on that list for me too.
Speaker 2:Yeah.
Speaker 1:Of songs that you would just say, this is what rap is. This is what this art form is. But Dead Presidents 2, to know that he's going to talk about that, that's dope. Because that's definitely one of my favorite, personal favorite Jay-Z records. Yeah.
Speaker 2:Well, yeah, if you haven't yet, it's a great watch. No matter what type of music fan you are, it's a really, really good watch, the Jay-Z 8. I need to tell you about this new sports trading app called Polymarket. It's the best new way to trade in sports. In the past, if you wanted action on the game, you'd put some money in, and if your team was doing well and you wanted to cash out, they'd lock the trade or take a huge fee. Polymarket is a prediction market.
Speaker 2:It's a stock exchange for sports, buying in and selling out on your terms. When your team goes down 20%, you can buy in and sell it off for 40% when they come back to double your money. I've tried them all. Polymarket is simply the best prediction market, better than DraftKings, FanDuel, Calchi, you name it. They are so confident you'll never go back to the other guys. They're giving you a free $ 50 on your first trade when you deposit just $ 10. And now they've launched a new feature, Squads, a group chat where you can see what everyone is trading on. So download the Polymarket app today and use code RoryMall when you sign up. That's code RoryMall to get $ 50 free after you trade just $ 10. Do we have voicemails?
Speaker 1:You've got mail. Yes, we do.
Speaker 5:Yo, this is Collins.
Speaker 6:Man, I'm a big fan of the pie. Love what y'all doing, man. Been fucking with y'all for like three years straight.
Speaker 1:Appreciate that, brother. Y'all the ones, man.
Speaker 5:Fuck Complex, man. Y'all the ones. Y'all the ones. Y'all up there. Anyway, so I got a question.
Speaker 6:My homeboys think I'm, like, racist because I don't find Black women as sexually attractive as I find, like, white women. Like, I prefer white women than, like, Black women.
Speaker 5:That's just, like, my, like, preference, you know?
Speaker 6:And my boys think I'm, like, racist because, like, I don't, like, I don't, like, fuck with Black girls, like, but... it's only because I see them as family, not like I be thinking they butt ugly.
Speaker 5:There's attractive black women for sure. I acknowledge that. Baby D, you one of them. You know what I'm saying? But I gravitate more towards the bunnies. You feel me? But anyways, my homeboys think I'm racist.
Speaker 6:I don't think I'm racist because I think it's more crazy if I act like I fuck with black girls and then I do them dirty. But I don't know. I feel like they tripping. But then again, I might be tripping. So y'all let me know if I'm tripping. I just need to know. Anyways, big fan of the pod. Appreciate y'all.
Speaker 1:Peace. Collins, thank you for leaving that voicemail. So racist. I don't think that's racist. I don't think it's racist to not be sexually attracted to anybody. I don't think I classify that as racist. Um, and now his reasoning is a little weird because they look at them like their family. That's just a little odd. Like, you know, you can have your preference. You can like whoever you like. Um, but yeah, I just, I just think your reasoning for not liking or not being sexually attracted to black women is a little, just a little odd.
Speaker 2:The floor is yours.
Speaker 1:No, this is where you're supposed to, like, this is where you jump in at. I cleared the lane.
Speaker 2:I set the screen for you. You're supposed to come off the screen and shoot that shit, man.
Speaker 1:Come on, man.
Speaker 2:What you doing? Despite what some of the public may think. The people in this room know where I guess my preference is.
Speaker 1:You're not sexually attracted to white women.
Speaker 2:I view them as like my family.
Speaker 4:Yeah, you're college.
Speaker 2:Y'all the same. And you guys view me as racist towards my own country.
Speaker 1:Yeah like I don't think you're racist to your own kind Rory I just think you have a preference and you know I think you may have a little kink I don't have a kink I think you have a little chocolate factory kink you know what I'm saying like it.
Speaker 3:Is what it is now you're saying he fetishizing black women please we have enough issues.
Speaker 1:No I'm not Rory's not fetishizing fetishizing it's a tough word to say yeah fetishizing um but yeah I just think his reason of why he's not sexually attracted to black women is just like huh it's just a little little weird.
Speaker 4:I would have a question. What's the question?
Speaker 2:Where are you from?
Speaker 4:I would ask him what his relationship with his mother is like.
Speaker 1:Okay.
Speaker 4:And I would also ask him if he was introduced to porn at a young age.
Speaker 1:What's his relationship like with his mother and if he was introduced to porn at a young age?
Speaker 5:Okay.
Speaker 1:So let's go to the, what would the correlation be between him being introduced to porn and Have to do with... Like, you think that he just saw just, like, white porn, white women porn?
Speaker 4:I got that.
Speaker 3:I got that from him saying that he looks at black women as family, not sexually, which means that you're usually.
Speaker 4:Putting women in a box of... You're kind of like.
Speaker 2:They're just you're either to be fucked or to be.
Speaker 4:You're objectifying them.
Speaker 5:Yeah.
Speaker 4:Like you can't like they can't.
Speaker 2:There can be no in between.
Speaker 3:Yeah, there's no they can't just be like a full fledged like human who you can enjoy and look at his family. It's like, no, black women are because I've met people like that where it's like now, like black women are our homies, our beautiful queens. But they'll date white women because they think that the people that they date are to be fucked and objectified and in a way disrespected.
Speaker 4:And they wouldn't do that to black women.
Speaker 2:Okay.
Speaker 3:I've come into contact with women who are like that. That's why I asked how early were you introduced to porn, because that has to do with your objectification of women, how you look at women and view women, and the level of respect you think you should give them, and why you're more comfortable giving black women a different type of respect than giving white women this type of respect, because you look at women just to be sexual objects.
Speaker 1:That's so interesting, because I remember women giving me shit when they found out I dated white women.
Speaker 4:But you date everybody.
Speaker 2:Yeah.
Speaker 4:You would fuck a chicken sandwich if.
Speaker 2:It was attractive.
Speaker 1:Now see, come on, see. You see how fast you just go crazy?
Speaker 3:But I mean, Maul will date any race. He's attracted to all beautiful women.
Speaker 1:I just love women.
Speaker 3:Which is completely different than somebody saying they won't touch the women that are of their own race.
Speaker 1:But to me, I'm just like, because on the other side of that, I've gotten a lot of, you know, shit from black women when they find out that I've dated white women or Asian women. And I'm just like, I like women, bro. I don't really care about race and ethnicity and shit like that. If it's a woman, she's attractive. She's cool. We have chemistry. We connect on certain things. That's what I'm attracted to. I don't care where her forefathers are from. I don't give a fuck.
Speaker 1:You feel your life.
Speaker 2:Is similar to the plot of, say, The Last Dance. You can recognize what Derek went through.
Speaker 1:No, I'm not saying that at all, Rory.
Speaker 2:No, I'm just trying to figure it out.
Speaker 1:No, that's not what I'm saying.
Speaker 3:Well, that conversation is a completely different situation. A lot of black women are sensitive to that for numerous reasons. When you grow up in a world that's constantly telling you that all other women are exotic and more beautiful than you.
Speaker 4:And that you're the bottom tier of women. It can be sensitive.
Speaker 1:Yeah, but I date black women as well. I understand that, but I'm just saying. If I say, yo, I date every race other than black women. That would be something for a black woman to be like, what?
Speaker 3:The sensitivity doesn't come from you and your experience. It comes from growing up in that being the experience. That's what I'm telling you.
Speaker 1:Yeah, you know, I love my black women now. Ooh, you know, I done had mine.
Speaker 2:I don't know if that's helping your case. Yeah. You word it that way.
Speaker 1:I done had mine.
Speaker 2:You just ran through them, right?
Speaker 1:No, I didn't run through them. Well, some of them was already ran through when I met them.
Speaker 5:Oh.
Speaker 1:Let's just say that. Some of them.
Speaker 2:You ran through each other. It was a marathon.
Speaker 1:We were using each other. It was a mutual thing. Like, we knew what it was. It was like, we're going to have fun tonight and I might call you tomorrow.
Speaker 2:Marathon continues.
Speaker 1:Come on, man. You know that. It doesn't stop.
Speaker 4:But yeah, homie, I don't know.
Speaker 2:You got to... Hey, date who you date. Date who you date. But like, there is a way to... Have your preference, though. Have a preference to not put down. Not that this gentleman is doing this. I want to make that clear.
Speaker 1:His reasoning was a little weird. You look at all black women as family? I never looked at Shorty as family.
Speaker 3:Mind you, they're the most diverse group of women. There's so many different black women that look like so many different things.
Speaker 1:So many different layers and shades. Yeah, I don't know.
Speaker 2:I don't know.
Speaker 1:But yeah, like who you like, man.
Speaker 4:Well, he wants to know if you guys think that he's racist for that.
Speaker 1:I don't think he's racist.
Speaker 2:I mean, if you go to the definition of race, I don't think he's racist.
Speaker 1:He's not racist. I think he's, you know, something else.
Speaker 2:Yeah, I don't know if there's a word for whatever that else is.
Speaker 4:I mean, more for us.
Speaker 1:He's a little peculiar. He's an interesting gentleman. That's what he is.
Speaker 2:Collins, you're an interesting gentleman. Let's just say that.
Speaker 1:I would love to have a cup of coffee and talk with you and kind of like dig into your mental a little bit, like just to see what's going on up there.
Speaker 2:And don't you hate when someone says something so nice, like we should be number one on the list. And then they go and say some bullshit and you're like, God damn it. I was about to agree with you. Because I would want to test Collins.
Speaker 1:Like I would put him around some of the most beautiful black women and dare him to not be sexually attracted to none of them. It's like, there's no way. It's certain. There's no way you don't see this woman right here and you're not sexually attracted to her because you look at her like family. You don't even know her name. Like, are you kidding me?
Speaker 2:Like, what? He could have a big family and been fused at certain reunions.
Speaker 1:Just say you like the snow bunnies, man. Just say you like the bunnies and, you know, it's okay. I'm not Dr.
Speaker 2:Umar.
Speaker 4:It's okay.
Speaker 1:I'm not Dr.
Speaker 6:Umar.
Speaker 2:I feel like that could go down an even weirder rabbit hole if you just find... what would be deemed the most attractive of every race? And I'd be like, well, yeah, her, but not the rest of them. To me, that's even like weirder.
Speaker 5:Yeah.
Speaker 1:I don't know, man. I don't know. I just, I think us being, I think where you're from too plays into that a lot. I think where you're from, I think the fact that we're from New York city, grew up in New York city, we were, had close proximity and access to so many different ethnicities and cultures. And some of our friends growing up, like we just, you know, you just start to learn people and like people because that's who you're around. I think that plays. So what Damaris is saying, I kind of get, but also I would like to know where he's from. Like, where did you grow up?
Speaker 2:I also think that can change too. Like I'm trying to think in college when I like, you know, started to meet people that I had not grown up around. There was like, there was, I'm not going to say his name, but one black guy was on my track team that grew up in South Jersey and like super, super suburban only around white people. And he only fucked white girls. Like that's all he did. That's where he grew up. But then I also had my man that was from the Bronx and he loved white bitches.
Speaker 1:But no, it's different. Like it's different.
Speaker 2:He grew up on third half.
Speaker 1:But it's different though. It's different because that, that on that side of it it's i've never dated this type of woman i've never had access to a pure white woman but i say that with you like a lot of black women would like you because.
Speaker 2:Oh that i definitely yeah i definitely was a first of like let me try it out yeah you're like sure you're like a fond you're like.
Speaker 4:I'm sorry.
Speaker 1:Like, they just want to pet you because they don't see you. Like, they've never seen many of you in, you know, in their neighborhood. Which I feel like I could go to the podium for that one.
Speaker 2:But, I mean, I enjoyed it. It was kind of like, use me.
Speaker 1:That's what I'm saying. Like, if you're not useful, you're useless. Like, it's going to always go back to that.
Speaker 2:I wasn't offended.
Speaker 5:No.
Speaker 2:I didn't get pushed back. You didn't feel hurt. You're not traumatized. I have fond memories, actually.
Speaker 1:No it's real though damaris it's real like i understand what rory is saying it's like y'all not gonna shame me it's like feeling like yo they use you okay i'll be i'll be an experiment you've never had a white boy before here's the white boy right here so i get it it's like if i if i'm gonna brought a bunch of white women and they're like i've never been with a black man Tonight is your lucky night. If you want it to be, if you want it to be, if you want.
Speaker 2:It to be tonight, it can happen.
Speaker 1:Like I'm not offended by it. If anything, I'm going in there with the flag on representing Wakanda. Yeah, I'm trying to.
Speaker 2:But there's also.
Speaker 1:Yeah, I'm trying to represent all of us. I'm representing all of us.
Speaker 2:There's more deep-rooted fetish stuff, I think, in your situation than there would be with mine.
Speaker 1:Oh, yeah.
Speaker 2:There's definitely some deep-rooted white girl.
Speaker 1:Naturally.
Speaker 5:Yeah.
Speaker 2:I'm mad at my father's shit. How do I piss my dad off type of situation. We know the history. Where that was not the case.
Speaker 1:We're not supposed to like each other. That's what America taught us.
Speaker 2:Yeah.
Speaker 1:Like and then having sex whoa that was forbidden at one point I could be hung out like a fucking even if you didn't yeah so it's not me Rory it's it's the culture it's the DNA of America walking down the street yeah that made it this way so if there's some that are willing to then god damn it I'm available is all I'm saying oh man sorry we the willing yeah please bleep that I don't know bleep it or keep it it's up to you Keeping it?
Speaker 5:Yes.
Speaker 2:Baby D, what's up?
Speaker 1:What you drinking right there?
Speaker 5:This?
Speaker 4:Electrolyte water.
Speaker 1:What's electrolyte water?
Speaker 4:So it's like.
Speaker 2:Microphone? Oh, sorry.
Speaker 4:Liquid IV, but it has... Liquid IV packets with water, but it has caffeine in it too.
Speaker 5:Oh.
Speaker 2:Okay.
Speaker 4:I've been trying to get off the coffee and the tea a little bit, so.
Speaker 2:Okay.
Speaker 1:I'm happy for you.
Speaker 4:Yeah, you thought it was liquor, huh? I thought you had one.
Speaker 1:No, I know liquor's not... But it looks like coconut water.
Speaker 4:I've mixed it with coconut water before.
Speaker 1:It was good.
Speaker 4:Are we doing dry October and no nut November?
Speaker 1:What's no nut November? Like you can't nut in November?
Speaker 2:Yeah, it's in the title.
Speaker 4:I thought it was self-explanatory.
Speaker 2:My bad.
Speaker 1:I mean, I want to do it with you.
Speaker 2:With you is crazy. I want to not nut with you. Yeah, I want to not nut.
Speaker 1:With you, but You know, if a white woman wants to. If a beautiful woman, Damaris, wants to have sex with me in November, I don't know if I'm going to lean on, like, no, we can't. It's not November.
Speaker 2:Men's health.
Speaker 1:Yeah, I'm not.
Speaker 4:You can find out if you really like her, though.
Speaker 1:No, I like her. I want to really.
Speaker 2:I want to show her how much I like her. Huh?
Speaker 1:Yeah.
Speaker 2:That's what I'm saying. It's time to release the hands. Release the hands. Open the floodgates. Anybody else?
Speaker 4:Dry October? No, not November.
Speaker 2:I mean, I don't drink.
Speaker 1:I could do dry October with you. That's easy. That was. I had wine in September. I had wine for my birthday. I don't think August I had.
Speaker 2:No. You did.
Speaker 4:Took your ass to Atlanta. Was it Atlanta? Where you went?
Speaker 5:L.A. L.A.
Speaker 4:Showed your ass.
Speaker 2:Yeah.
Speaker 1:Yo, fam.
Speaker 2:The leaning on the window.
Speaker 1:That sleep. Nick Walker, he's like, bro, we here.
Speaker 2:We where?
Speaker 1:Fam. I am never doing that again. So, yeah, I could do Gerard October with you.
Speaker 2:Is No Nut November like also self-nutting?
Speaker 1:You know what I want to do? I want all of us to go see Paranormal Activity to play together for Halloween.
Speaker 2:Like an escape the room type of thing?
Speaker 1:No, to play Paranormal Activity.
Speaker 5:Oh, okay.
Speaker 4:No, can we go to Fright Fest?
Speaker 1:Baby D, come on now. Think outside the box. Everybody goes to Fright Fest.
Speaker 4:You're just old and don't want to get on roller coasters.
Speaker 2:I hate working with old people.
Speaker 1:No, it's not the roller coasters. It's just that shit is, you know. I mean, if you want to go to Fright Fest, I guess we can all go.
Speaker 2:I love roller coasters, but I don't know. 2026 is a bit of a sketchy year for roller coasters. I don't know what's my algorithm. Every time I open my phone, someone's trapped on a fucking ride.
Speaker 4:That's because you.
Speaker 3:Like seeing that shit. That's why they feed your algorithm that. You don't want to see nobody survive and be happy on a roller coaster.
Speaker 2:I love roller coasters. I don't want to get paranoid where that could happen. I didn't. I think Six Flags yesterday just shut down one of their biggest roller coasters for like ever.
Speaker 1:Which one? The Batman? Six Flags.
Speaker 5:I saw hilarious tweets and I was like, dudes go to Six Flags and be like, I want to ride in this.
Speaker 1:I want to ride the man to steal. It's fucking crazy. And they run to the line.
Speaker 4:Fast pass.
Speaker 3:They won't be the first. But I treat roller coasters. I treat shit like that with roller coasters. Like how I'm all treating them blueberries. He ain't got no business eating. If it's my time, it's my time.
Speaker 1:I ain't eating them because they was too, you know, blueberries got to be a little firm for me. When they get too soft, like mushy, it's like, you can't eat them.
Speaker 4:With no blood flow. Blasted ass blueberries.
Speaker 2:Yeah. Yesterday, Six Flags, Magic Mountain is permanently closed. I don't know if I've ever done that one, but because of lawsuits and the ride has caused too many traumatic brain injuries. Yeah, roller coasters give me a headache.
Speaker 4:I'm cool with it.
Speaker 2:I love roller coasters.
Speaker 4:So do niggas, and I keep fucking with them.
Speaker 2:Where is the Magic Mountain? I don't think I've ever been on Magic Mountain. Is that the one in South Jersey?
Speaker 1:The X2 roller coaster.
Speaker 2:Is that one in South Jersey? That's Six Flags Magic Mountain. Okay, I don't know where that one is.
Speaker 1:No, that's not Jersey.
Speaker 2:LA.
Speaker 1:Oh, in LA. Okay.
Speaker 2:All right.
Speaker 1:Oh, they closed the X2. Okay.
Speaker 2:But I'm down to do a Fright Fest.
Speaker 1:We have to go see Paranormal Activity.
Speaker 4:You really keep talking about this.
Speaker 1:Nah, that shit was good.
Speaker 4:Was it scary?
Speaker 1:It's like a lot of jump scares.
Speaker 2:If you're scared like the jump scares, the loud noises and sudden like you'll be scared.
Speaker 1:All right.
Speaker 2:But can we all sit in different areas so like nobody clowns me if I get jumpy?
Speaker 5:Nah.
Speaker 1:See, that's all we got to go for.
Speaker 2:I don't want to be jumpy and run around my people.
Speaker 1:I want us to all sit in the same row right next to each other so I can see who's scared or not.
Speaker 2:But like do they trick you and put like people next to you?
Speaker 1:No, no, no.
Speaker 5:It's none of that.
Speaker 1:It's none of that. That'd be kind of ill though. Yeah, nah, that's not that. Everything happens on stage. But it's a great play. It's definitely one of the most unique.
Speaker 2:Plays I've probably ever seen because they use a lot of special effects.
Speaker 1:They use the lighting and everything. It was really good. It was really, really good. I enjoyed it. But I want to see y'all in the theater because I know Damaris is going to be scared. I know she's going to be scared. You too, though. You might get scared.
Speaker 2:I was scared of the original movie. I saw it in theaters like fucking 15 years ago that's a really good movie series though Paranormal Activity I love that so yeah I'm more than down.
Speaker 3:But quick question oh shit you in your house new house just bought a farmhouse or whatever so fix her up or you're fixing up the farmhouse you haven't been in the basement yet whatever would you rather have to fight off like Jason from like Fetty vs. Jason okay or like this shit that was in The Conjuring.
Speaker 2:Jason, I think.
Speaker 4:Ma?
Speaker 1:Say that again. I'm sorry. I just got some good news.
Speaker 2:Attachments? No, no, no.
Speaker 4:The nut before September end.
Speaker 3:No, I'm saying, if you just got like a new house and you found out that either it was either A, would you rather be A, haunted by the shit from The Conjuring or B, like Jason was running around that.
Speaker 4:Bitch looking for you? Which one would you rather?
Speaker 1:The Conjuring is a doll, right?
Speaker 4:No, it's just a spirit. It's infected a doll before, yeah.
Speaker 1:Okay.
Speaker 2:Jason, he had some size to him. He had a machete. Jason had size to him as well. Jason was like 6'1, right?
Speaker 5:6'2?
Speaker 2:What do you have in his Twitter bio? No, I don't know how tall he was.
Speaker 3:Yeah, I think we can find out. How do you know his height? Jason Voorhees. Between 6'3 and 6'5.
Speaker 1:Yeah, like, come on, fam. That's a fucking unit.
Speaker 2:Yeah, but you could, like, you could shoot Jason, though, right?
Speaker 1:No, that shit don't stop him. Have you not seen the Jason movies?
Speaker 2:But The Conjuring, there's nothing you could do. You just gotta, like, you gotta deal with it.
Speaker 4:You could have an exorcism.
Speaker 2:That didn't work in the movie.
Speaker 5:Yeah.
Speaker 2:Don't know.
Speaker 1:I'm weird.
Speaker 2:I take my chances with Jason. I feel like Jason the fuck with me. I feel like he rocking me.
Speaker 4:Yeah, I'm definitely taking my chances with some shit I could, like, fight.
Speaker 1:Spirit, you can't see that shit.
Speaker 2:There was nothing they could do in The Conjuring. Yeah, that's what I'm saying. I could see Jason. Yeah.
Speaker 1:Come on, fam.
Speaker 5:Really?
Speaker 1:Come on. You gonna do this to me?
Speaker 6:Come on.
Speaker 2:I'm from.
Speaker 3:Alright, Michael Myers. That's the slowest villain ever. I'm booking it on Michael.
Speaker 4:Michael and Mikael.
Speaker 1:Yeah, Michael Myers. I'll take my chances with Michael Myers.
Speaker 2:Anything I can see.
Speaker 1:Because if I can see it, I can probably defend myself against it. You talk to my spirits and shit like that and then the spirits can jump from things that I don't... We don't know what we're against right now.
Speaker 2:Alright, Conjuring or Hereditary?
Speaker 4:Conjuring is way scarier.
Speaker 1:What's Hereditary?
Speaker 2:I'm saying, what would you rather? Then you got to beef with your grandmother.
Speaker 4:Which spirit?
Speaker 2:Hereditary is one of the best scary movies, I think.
Speaker 4:Hereditary is not a good movie. I hate that it gets all that. Well, I didn't like it. I won't say it's not a good movie.
Speaker 2:I didn't like it. I'm going to sound like a fucking loser snob. The cinematography is delightful in it. <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL>.
Speaker 3:<HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL>.
Speaker 4:<HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL>.
Speaker 2:<HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL>.
Speaker 3:<HAL> I don't fuck with that. Anything fucking with the spiritual realm. Because I believe in all that shit. So that's scary to me.
Speaker 1:You believe in ghosts?
Speaker 4:I believe in ghosts. I believe in spirits. I believe in all of that shit. Yeah, hell yeah. I believe there's some evil on this earth that's older.
Speaker 1:Than all of us.
Speaker 2:Yeah.
Speaker 4:Fuck yeah.
Speaker 2:I'm with it too. I believe in all that shit. I'm cool. Yeah.
Speaker 4:Like, Freddy and my dreams?
Speaker 2:It's regular. A drunk night? My dreams is horrible. Like, I don't even worry about that shit.
Speaker 1:Yeah, I feel like I could.
Speaker 2:Take my chances with Michael Myers, Jason. Jeepers Creepers?
Speaker 5:Yeah.
Speaker 1:What the hell is Jeepers Creepers? I remember. That's old though, right?
Speaker 4:The nigga from Jeepers Creepers. No Jeepers Creepers.
Speaker 1:I don't know, but the Gremlins is coming back. You see that? Spielberg?
Speaker 4:No, I didn't see that.
Speaker 1:You didn't see that? It's lit. Gremlins? Coming back? Y'all too young for Gremlins. Y'all don't remember Gremlins.
Speaker 2:Oh, yeah. Of course I remember Gremlins. Gremlins versus Chucky then. I'll take a Gremlins.
Speaker 4:Over Chucky too determined for me.
Speaker 2:The gremlins it was too many of the niggas they get wet you feed them after midnight they multiply nah give me give me give me one Chucky give me one Chucky dog my nigga these niggas start eating it's over they gonna multiply like nah nah nah give me Chucky I'll take Chucky.
Speaker 1:But the fact that we get a new gremlins movie is dope though like with all the new technology and shit like that with like movie that's gonna be fire.
Speaker 3:Then was gremlins the original like Minions But like the happy ones?
Speaker 4:I mean, the like scary ones?
Speaker 1:No.
Speaker 5:For real?
Speaker 4:You don't think that's where that stemmed from?
Speaker 2:No.
Speaker 1:Because the Gremlins was scary, but also like it was comedy to it as well. Like a lot of shit that happened in the Gremlins was like funny. Yeah. Like it had personality that say funny shit. They'll be like, they'll steal toys and be driving around in like cars, like toy cars. Like, so it was like little comedy shit to it as well. But I was scared of Gremlins as a kid though. Like I remember being scared of Gremlins.
Speaker 2:Yeah. Peter Thiel versus Sam Altman. Who's scarier? That's the real evil spirits we need to be peeping.
Speaker 5:All right.
Speaker 1:Well, it was good talking to y'all. Good seeing y'all. We finally get this new Drake music on DSPs tonight.
Speaker 2:Oh, yeah, that's right. I did see that.
Speaker 1:You know. New music is here. Some good new music. We need good music. Bless you. You all right?
Speaker 2:Yes, I'm wonderful.
Speaker 1:All right, cool.
Speaker 2:Slow sneeze. We'll talk to y'all soon.
Speaker 1:Be safe.
Speaker 2:Be blessed.
Speaker 1:I'm that nigga. He has allergies. Peace.
Speaker 4:You should have said he's that wigger.
