And if your friend was in there, we’re sorry, PJ’s gotta go. Then we hard left and give out our watch recs: Netflix’s Zero Day , a nostalgic return to The Closer , Eternity , and a charming criminal living in Toys “R” Us (Hi! Channing Tatum) The hat trick of…

Speaker 1:All right, Well, we wanted to do because I got some messages. I'm going to keep it anonymous on Instagram. This is the rage Pod. We're just gonna I think we just dive in. Yeah, l a confidential rage pod because I wanted to read you a message that we got, because you know, people know that we've been we've been raging about the world and the Epstein files and Trump, and you know, it's just it's kind of hard not to It's it's been tough. Basically, I posted I've retweeted somebody's tweet that it was saying, like, oh, the Clinton's falling down on their own sword to like unveil a pedophile is some game of throne ship that I'm so ill I'll be happy to see, which is great, right, So they replied, it won't. They've killed more people than they count. Biden had the four had the files for four years, did nothing. They're all in on it. Promise you'll be happier when you realize there are only good people, not good groups. I replied, I don't think there are only good groups, smiley face. My point is the Democrats had the chance to rest people for it under Biden.

Speaker 1:Why not be mad about that. You seem really upset by all of it. I'm not trying to blackpill you, but context often helps me, and it won't make you feel at odds with people who disagree with you.

Speaker 2:They all suck heart and then the heart.

Speaker 3:Yeah, and the emojis that go along with us totally.

Speaker 1:So I said, And we're getting to the point where Ebar's name comes up, so about something that we talked about in a podcast. So that's why I'm bringing this up, just just in case you guys are where the F is this going? I then reply, I don't care who it is or what side. I wish it was dealt with earlier. I wasn't aware of all this. I was like Clinton, Biden, whoever it is, let them all burn. I don't care blue or red. It doesn't matter to me. They said, glad to hear that excited. For you to get more pissed at the government, selective outrage is lame.

Speaker 2:I don't think she's not pissed at the government.

Speaker 1:Go down some COVID rabbit holes or forced sterilization. And the eugenics movement.

Speaker 2:Oh, the eugenics movement that Hitler adopted to spread fascism. Yeah, sounds familiar.

Speaker 1:Just some light bedtime rage reading. Honestly, I was worried you felt the same way as your rage pod co host.

Speaker 2:Oh hey, that's me who said if.

Speaker 1:You voted for Trump, you're responsible for the deaths of Alex Pretty and Renee Good. Uh.

Speaker 2:Yeah, I actually never said those.

Speaker 1:Words, or those of us who want immigration laws enforced are sick fucks.

Speaker 2:I actually never said that people who want immigration controls are sick fucks. But man, do I love the phrase sick fucks.

Speaker 1:It's not a very compassionate view, and quite frankly, a bit low IQ.

Speaker 2:Hey. Now, I am not going to challenge you on the low IQ part.

Speaker 1:And it's funny because I already know you have a very high IQ, so know that I do. I think you do. But I thought that that was kind of funny. Hello, And it said, I hope you don't feel that way about me, or if you did that you would come talk to me. Interesting about the pedo thing, because not a lot of conservative outlets are reporting on it since it's unsubstantiated.

Speaker 2:If I unsubstantiated, you mean six million files and two people convicted of sex trafficking and abusing minors, then, yes, very much unsubstantiated.

Speaker 1:The thing we all felt the same about Biden. Dude was creeping on little girls and then allegedly his daughter's diary said he made her shower with him.

Speaker 2:Ooh girls, Joe Biden showering. I don't really want to be thinking about that period.

Speaker 1:My point is I could do this all day.

Speaker 2:True, just another garden variety global pedophile ring, but I will give it props No.

Speaker 3:Two.

Speaker 1:I think abortion is murder, so eir Ebar, Yes, how are we feeling about what she stated when we had that convo and where she brought you up here? I was like, well, I want to give Ebar a chance to respond, you know, so, like, how do you feel about that? Because she was like, basically, when you brought up that debt, if you voted for Trump, you're responsible for the deaths of ax Pretty and Renee Good and that. Yeah, and then I'll bring up the other stuff.

Speaker 3:But okay, so first and foremost, I just want to say, you know, because I know that this person said like, oh, I hope you don't feel the same way as your co host. I just very clearly want to state whatever I say should never be immediately endowed onto Tara like those are my views. Those are my crazy progressive views, okay, and I own them, and I would never want somebody to just assume or dress those onto her. So I'm glad that that got cleared up. And in the same way, I did not feel as strongly about the Halloween decorations in Burbank that Tear did, and I do not want the assumption to.

Speaker 4:Be that I did.

Speaker 3:Okay, So as far as what I said, Number one, do I think that anyone that voted for him is literally responsible for these deaths? No, I don't. That's not the point of what I was saying. And if you can't bring a little nuance to the interpretation of what we're saying, I urge you to rethink and maybe.

Speaker 5:Go a little bit deeper.

Speaker 3:The point that I was trying to make is that oftentimes we have fiscal republicans or you even have independence libertarians that say, well, you know, I'm socially liberal, or I believe in this, or I believe in that, but you know, I'm going to vote this way, and it's usually because there's some self interested part of them, like I don't want to work this hard and pay this in taxes, to which I have a lot of responses to that, namely, we should all be banded together against the super super super elite rich, because those are the people that are getting all of our money, all of our money that are not paying taxes. But separate discussion for another day. My point is you are prioritizing that, and it can come off as convenient to then say, but I'm you know, I want women to have the right to choose, not that she's saying that obviously, right.

Speaker 3:I don't think what's going on in immigration is right, or I think that gay people should be able to get married. Unfortunately, again, like I said, that's not the way voting work. So I think it's more about like thinking critically and stepping outside of our individualism, because that's also what she's saying right there. Right, we're so staunched in our own individualism right now that we are so divided. So if you're voting in a way that is so specific to you, this comes with that, And that's my point.

Speaker 3:I never said that they killed Alex pretty that's putting words in my mouth. I never said that they killed Brene Good. So that's how it responded that that it's more about the point, and I said, at the end of that, I was like, because this is the most important election of our lifetime. So maybe, just maybe, at this point in time, you put aside what is of pure self interest and think about the greater good, think about the bigger picture this year, and then maybe things even out and you can go back to saying like, hey, I got fucked on my taxes after I voted for a Democrat, and now I'm upset, and then hopefully we don't.

Speaker 3:I'm sorry, have a fucking pedophile running the country that or a pedophile that is up up for election to run the country.

Speaker 1:Correct, That's what I would say to that.

Speaker 3:Yeah, and I absolutely, of course Democrats liberals want you all to have the choices that you have your choice to be anti abortion. We celebrate that. It's so against everything that I believe in. But you should absolutely have the choice to be against abortion. And I should absolutely have the choice to have an abortion, yeah, of course. And so but that's not the way it works from the other side, right, Yeah, And so that's where it gets it gets complicated because it's also it's also a meddling of church and state, and so be better if we all just said, go do your thing and I'll go do mine. It doesn't affect me if you go and get an abortion, other than being your friend and being there in a supportive way. It doesn't affect me right like it affects me because it's a really hard decision that no woman ever wants to make. No one's like gunning to have an abortion, right. But if you did have to make that decision, I'm sure you weighed everything very heavily, and I would want to be there to hold your hand and talk to you about how you feel and do anything else that you needed. But other than that, it affects my life in zero way.

Speaker 3:So why would I then have to go say don't make that choice?

Speaker 1:Right?

Speaker 3:Yeah, I agree, it's kind of That's kind of my response to it all. And as far as like the Biden stuff goes with what is she's saying about his daughter?

Speaker 1:Yeah, like my reply real quickly, you should pop in please that. When I replied, I was like, like I said, I was like, if it's Clinton, if it's Biden, I was like, you could go ten ten thousand years back with any Democrat and I burn him out the stake. I don't give a flaw. I did recently see one weird video because it's like, now that this pedophile stuff is coming out, what's odd is that now there's these videos of There was only one that came out of Biden and he was meeting girls in the White House.

Speaker 1:They were taking a picture and he did put his hand like on her side, and I thought that was unnecessary and weird and was he gonna do it again? And he did it just to every girl that stood there to take the picture, and I was like, yeah, okay, that's fucking weird. I think if I was your pr i'd be like, hey, don't touch a little girl. May put your arm here on her shoulder, or just don't touch her, say hello, shake her fucking hand, stand back.

Speaker 5:Uh.

Speaker 1:I don't know if there was anything weird in that or if he's just an old fart and he didn't get it. I thought it was weird. So this is me saying I am a demo and I thought that shit was weird. If I was on that team, i'd say back to fuck off, put your hand on her fucking shoulder, she's nine, don't get so close to your ear to talk to her and don't think about kissing her on the forehead because right now it's not cute. They're here for a fucking picture. That's what I would say.

Speaker 3:So here's the other thing. Yeah, we all know old handsy Biden, Like that was something that came out and I don't know about democratic men, but there's no like democratic women that were out there campaigning against his image getting smeared. We're like, yeah, he gives off like old white guy, a little too handsy on the meet and greet totally. So no, like to your point, nobody is defending that as far as like you can just I think the problem is is like generalizing like, oh, you could find something with everyone. Epstein was charged with child trafficking.

Speaker 5:Mm hmm.

Speaker 3:He was found guilty correct of a pedophile ring. And what these this long standing investigation, what these files, even with all of the redactions, show is that there were a fuck ton of people involved in this. I don't know how many people have been named in this alleged scandal with Biden and.

Speaker 1:His daughter, right right, I have no idea, So like.

Speaker 3:Yeah, we can find anything, and look, I said in a recent episode that hasn't aired yet, I'm like, do we think it's feasible that Clinton could have had unconsensual sex?

Speaker 1:And we both said.

Speaker 3:Yeah, fuck yes, Like would I be shocked? No, I wouldn't.

Speaker 1:We are not trying to protect the side that we normally vote for at all. We're literally just looking for justice. Okay.

Speaker 3:So I was just going to say that on a positive note from getting this message, we at least know that this person agrees that Alex Pretti was murdered.

Speaker 1:And that is a plus for us, a plus because now we're like, your head isn't that far, that's right into the sand? You know that, they said out loud, Alex pretty and Renee Good both.

Speaker 3:Murdered, both murdered, And so we don't need to check this person's vision.

Speaker 4:We don''s good.

Speaker 1:We think it's good, and we're happy to have them.

Speaker 2:Well, did you watch anything that you loved?

Speaker 1:You know what Zero Day on Netflix? Actually very good?

Speaker 2:Wait, that's which one again? I think I want to watch it?

Speaker 1:Yeah, it has Connie Britten in it and a lot of other famous actors that I'm blanking on the name. It's it's I liked it. It was a little slow at first. It's about sort of a political drama about like the government.

Speaker 5:Oh, I want to watch this now, I know it's good.

Speaker 2:I want to watch this.

Speaker 1:It's good. I spoiler juice. Yeah, that's the juice right there. Zero day, I was like, this is fun. I'm down. And the one other thing is that The Closer, which is a show from like two thousands, yes, ye yeah, it popped up on Netflix just in time for the holidays, and I was like, shut the hell up. I love this show, like Kira is a may Zing and just when you I was like, I don't even watch all shows, and I was like The Closer. Hell yeah, Like I dare you guys at home, if you have not seen this, go and just watch the pilot and come back and dm us if you were like, Tara's right, it's kind of fun for a procedural, it's pretty fun.

Speaker 4:I watched two great movies, both on Caden's recommendation. The first one was Eternity with Miles Teller, Elizabeth Olsen, and Callum Turner. Basically, do you guys remember the movie Defending Your Life without Street? Okay, so it was kind of like that where they die and then they're on a train to purgatory. And then tramholding.

Speaker 2:Area defending exactly totally.

Speaker 4:So they're in this like holding area where you get assigned your like social worker, and then you have to decide what your like where are you going to spend eternity? So the husband.

Speaker 1:Dies cat cafe.

Speaker 2:There you go, the kat cafe cafey exactly, I mean easy.

Speaker 4:The husband dies a couple days later, the wife dies. So she shows up and they're like, oh my god. Well, her first husband that she married when she was like eighteen nineteen, who died in the war, has been waiting sixty seven years for her. He didn't choose his eternity. He stayed in purgatory to wait for her to show up. So she shows up and now she's there with Lenny of sixty seven years.

Speaker 5:She's got to choose.

Speaker 4:Or the first love.

Speaker 3:Well, but also like, buddy, it kind of like you kind of gambled and lost.

Speaker 4:Yeah, so it mean it's and it's a comedy and it's it's actually it's really it's so good and I didn't really know anything about it. And they die together.

Speaker 2:The couple died.

Speaker 4:No, they die like a like like maybe like a few weeks or so apart, maybe a few weeks she's terminal, and then he has this weird thing that happens and he does, but it's in close timing of each other.

Speaker 1:I feel like this is where if you're monogamous, you just pop over to Polly right there, right you dip your I mean, it's afterlife.

Speaker 2:Does that even count?

Speaker 4:That is exactly what I said. I was like, I would figure out a way to like make it work both Polly. I absolutely would figure it's so good, I recommend it. It's super fun. And then the other one that I watched that I loved was A Roofman with Channing Tatum and Kirsten Duns.

Speaker 3:Is like about a real, real guy, a real.

Speaker 4:Guy who spent like forty five days living in a Toys r Us because he was homeless, and it's just it's a wild ride. It's one of those movies where you're like, oh God, oh God, oh no, he's gonna he's gonna get caught. And it was super it was just super fun.

Speaker 3:It was he he was he was a vet, right, he was x military. That like, from what I heard or read about was that he was ex military. He was having a hard time like feeding his family and so he would like learn like he like robbed a McDonald's. I think like he would learn exactly like where like the money was. But I guess he was like really nice to the people when he would like rob a place, So he clearly wasn't like there to be like violent.

Speaker 2:He just really needed money.

Speaker 3:M hm.

Speaker 5:I get that.

Speaker 1:It was really good if we could start doing that. You know, it's a lot of work, because you're telling me right now that he was living in a toys r us probably for a while. But prior to that, he was robbing McDonald's and he wasn't arrested, so it's not like he was in jail.

Speaker 3:He was getting away with it.

Speaker 1:He was getting away because he was nice. And so now I'm thinking, why not try it out? We could be nice? Hey, Hi, I'd like a whopper and a diet coke, but also give me all the money In the drawing.

Speaker 3:It was real complicated, like we can barely get this shit together.

Speaker 4:Are you kidding?

Speaker 2:To be able to organize.

Speaker 4:Driving around with dry cleaning in my car for six months, I still haven't dropped me.

Speaker 2:I have to a lot of planning.

Speaker 1:It's called money. It's no planning. I'll do it.

Speaker 3:He was like military, he really knew what he was doing, like and also like he wasn't like running a podcast and like raising three year old twins at that time, you know, and like doing real rejects for like seven hours a day, like he had time to rob these places.

Speaker 4:If we don't have to tire.

Speaker 1:Off the McDonald's safe though, Like that would.

Speaker 3:Be the thing about the argument for it is that like now he has a movie about a commercials, a commercially viable and a time when like movies aren't being made about his life like totally famous.

Speaker 1:I love this for him. Maybe this is how we get big. This is how I'll do it by myself and bring us all up. You'll ride my fucking coattail because I'm the one who decided to rob Burger King and you guys said it was too much work.

The holidays are over, everyone’s still exhausted and family rage is very much alive. In this episode we unpack holiday meltdowns, lost kids at Legoland, inappropriate childhood traditions, and the very real question of whether family deserves unconditional access to you. From cutting ties with toxic parents to redefining chosen family, we talk boundaries, guilt, emotional pain, and why “but they’re family” isn’t a good enough reason to suffer. If you skipped a gathering, set a boundary, or chose peace over obligation, buy yourself a drink, a blunt or a massage.…
