Speaker 1:Hello gorgeous it's lala kent welcome to untraditionally lala.

Speaker 2:Welcome back hello gorgeous we're here with untraditionally lala what makes lala untraditional her family and the dynamic welcome mom hi how are you we're good how are you i'm happy.

Speaker 1:Good hi tt hi um People were asking after last week's episode what my spiral was.

Speaker 3:Now mom's looking down.

Speaker 4:I was making sure I didn't have Himalayan salt on my shirt.

Speaker 1:Mom, what was my spiral about? I'd love to get your take on it.

Speaker 4:I think you were stressed that Easton was going to find his person and you'd be in the dust.

Speaker 1:Okay. Eason finding his person doesn't mean I'm being left in the dust.

Speaker 5:It was a combination of shit, okay?

Speaker 1:Eason had told me the night before, hey, Dubai and I would like to go to the Glen tomorrow to have breakfast with you guys.

Speaker 5:And I was like, excellent. And as a Virgo, I take that shit seriously.

Speaker 1:Then I wake up and I'm getting my kids ready to go to the Glen and... Easton's still snoozing away and says, we're not.

Speaker 5:Going to go. And I was like annoyed by it.

Speaker 1:I'm like, well, I didn't need to be getting ready to go to the Glen today right now either. Also, it was a combination of multiple things. I was like, okay, this, and don't get offended by this.

Speaker 3:I'm not offended at all.

Speaker 1:Okay. This is a random person. This is the second random girl Easton has brought into my home.

Speaker 3:With many more to come.

Speaker 4:Random in respect of we don't know her that well.

Speaker 3:Yes, that's what random means. That's what random means. Mom, random.

Speaker 4:Random seems really harsh to me. Random.

Speaker 3:It is harsh.

Speaker 5:She's a random woman.

Speaker 1:Okay. It's not to say that she wasn't lovely, but we don't know this girl.

Speaker 4:You could say a random, a lovely random girl.

Speaker 5:A lovely random girl.

Speaker 6:Yeah.

Speaker 5:Okay, that's fine.

Speaker 4:All right.

Speaker 5:And I'm telling my mom this. I'm like, she's random. Do you understand?

Speaker 1:Like, I haven't even brought a person back to this house yet. And Easton, this is the second rando he's brought back. And my mom's like, well, you know, I think the difference is, Lauren, is, you know, men are more.

Speaker 5:Apt to be mass murderers and women aren't. And I'm like, the fuck?

Speaker 1:Okay.

Speaker 3:Lisa, good day.

Speaker 1:I understand, but like. It's still a person who we don't know who is coming to a place where my children lay their heads down and that I was spiraling on. And then I was like, also, this is my dog. This is my boy. He very well could find his person who lives in Dubai. What does this mean for me and my family? And no, Easton, this is very important for me to say because I was talking to a friend about my spiral and she legitimately asked me, do you not want Easton to find his person? It wasn't like, do you not want Easton to find his person?

Speaker 1:She was genuinely asking me this. And I said, of course I do. Easton deserves to find his person. Easton deserves to move in with a chick, have his love story, have children that are actually his. I want that for him. At the same time, that will be quite an adjustment for me.

Speaker 3:It'll be quite an adjustment for all of us. Of course.

Speaker 7:Because that's, I won't, I told you, Even me, like I'm very, I love my family. I told you guys that I feel off when I don't come in in the morning and see you guys. I feel off when we don't have our movie night. Or as you guys see, when I go back and play video games, how often do I come into the house for no reason? Just to make sure everyone's there. Yeah, no, I love my family. And I will say having her there, it was a big adjustment. And that's where I really don't think I'm ready for a relationship for everybody at wondering as well.

Speaker 7:We're on like a little, not talking right now, feeling my emotions. And I just like, it's weird. Like you doing all of that. I was like, I kind of like, I need my family. And that's where I'm like, no, I'm not ready for a relationship because I'm still skittish on this little sobriety road. And with what I have, I feel very confident in staying sober. So I, for me, it's going to be a huge adjustment. And it's going to be a special person that is going to have to take like to be put in there, you know?

Speaker 3:Yeah.

Speaker 1:But by the way, I thought she was wonderful.

Speaker 3:She was amazing. It's just geographically fucked.

Speaker 1:Geographically, yes. But considering that she lives, you know, 17 and a half hours away, you guys have seen each other a lot.

Speaker 5:Like you could very well make that work.

Speaker 3:Yes. And can I be honest?

Speaker 7:Another thing that really scares me is if, she were to uproot her life and come here and say, we try to make it work. The pressure that that would put me under, if it not working and just looking at her and being like, you uprooted your whole life to come here.

Speaker 3:And now I'm feeling a certain way. And then that's where I am a pushover.

Speaker 7:And I would just do it because I would feel so bad for that person that I would be unhappy for them.

Speaker 1:Yeah.

Speaker 7:So that's where I'm like, I need to figure out who I am, what I want.

Speaker 3:And, Somebody who can fit in this little family.

Speaker 1:By the way, Eason, when you find somebody, when I find somebody, it's inevitable the dynamic is going to shift. Like, you're not going to want to live in that back house, and she's not going to want to do that. And I'm certainly not going to, you know, want my mother to live, like, in the same household downstairs. Like, there's going to have to be a shift. I'm not saying a ginormous shift where everybody... goes into their own lives. But yes, it was funky for me having someone who I didn't really know at the house. Like I felt a little uncomfortable laying by the pool. That doesn't mean that I didn't like her.

Speaker 3:I thought she was amazing. No, it's just a different, it feels like you're at a public pool now.

Speaker 5:It was just a different energy.

Speaker 1:I was like, okay, there's another person that's sleeping here and waking up here that It's lovely, but I don't know her.

Speaker 3:And I got nervous. Well, yes.

Speaker 7:And I will say we're a very open family and we just talk about anything and everything. And sometimes we have to make sure the people we're talking around are safe people as well. And she at the time is a lovely random girl. We don't know what if she was going to sell us. You know, there's just you feel a certain way.

Speaker 3:And you were, yeah. And I, just to let you know, I was feeling certain ways too.

Speaker 5:And it was just, but.

Speaker 7:Not because she would do, just like, it's a new person.

Speaker 3:You never know.

Speaker 1:It's very important that you know I want those things for you though. This was just the first person that you've talked to where I'm like, this could be something. And the dynamic is going to shift. And quickly I was thinking like, if he ends up like moving out or something.

Speaker 5:Like this phase is over.

Speaker 1:That means time has passed and like it's going to be different.

Speaker 6:Yeah.

Speaker 7:That's why if you don't change, you don't age. So if we just continue to do this, time will never pass.

Speaker 5:But I want that for you. I want you to find someone.

Speaker 7:Thank you so much. And just to be honest, like there's never been a time where I'm like, my fucking family doesn't want me to find anyone. Like, no, I know my family wants like great things for me. And that's what's like, that's the other thing. When you guys are like talking to me about things, I'm not like, they don't want anything for me. I'm like, okay, they're seeing things that I'm not seeing because sometimes I'm like in this little love bubble and it's like, I need the 30,000 foot view.

Speaker 3:Yeah.

Speaker 6:You don't need to tell me. I have been there where I'm like, no, I'm marrying this guy. They're like, you've met him once. And I'm like, nope, marrying him. He's moving into the house. We're having babies. They're like, you don't know him. I'm like, don't care.

Speaker 5:Love him in love, in love.

Speaker 3:And then we're in the car. So did I tell you what a dickhead this guy is? Time was going to tell us.

Speaker 5:It certainly did.

Speaker 3:I was like, wow.

Speaker 4:You're both going to find your people.

Speaker 3:No, we will. We will. But it will take us.

Speaker 1:But that's going to be a shift, man.

Speaker 5:I'm telling you.

Speaker 1:After this situation, I realize I'm like, East is my fucking road dog.

Speaker 3:My homie. My homie. Best friend. Best friend. I'm not kidding you. I'm... I'm in a rock and a hard spot right now.

Speaker 7:Because I kicked– I really am glad that I did this. But when I was like 21, 22, I'd hang out with like 50-year-old dudes. I'd go to drinks with them after work and do things. And some of them were single. Some of them were not.

Speaker 3:And like I always held on.

Speaker 7:John Farron, my good friend, he told me too and I like hold on to it. He was like, get married because life gets lonely.

Speaker 3:And he was lonely.

Speaker 7:And he was very lonely. But then I'm like, all right. I'm in a pretty fun city. It's a lot of old people going out and about. Maybe I don't have to be lonely if I'm alone. There's a lot going through my mind right now, guys.

Speaker 4:You know what I like to say? It's easy to be alone when you're not alone.

Speaker 5:You want to know who said that to me?

Speaker 3:Who?

Speaker 5:Was my ex-fiance's mother.

Speaker 4:That's a good one.

Speaker 1:And that stuck with me. Yeah. Like I can't, when I talk to my friends who are constantly looking for men.

Speaker 5:And I'm like, I don't get it.

Speaker 1:Just be by yourself and figure out what you want. They're like, you will never understand because you go home to a full house. When I don't have my child, I go home and I am fully alone. And that was very eye-opening. And I'm happy that they said that because I do forget that my normal is completely different from everybody else's. I'm not constantly, when people are like, I just can't believe you haven't thought about dating. And I'm like, it has rarely crossed my mind until you just brought it up. And I feel like maybe I should, maybe I'm weird.

Speaker 7:No, our family is weird. We're like, no, we get up in the I don't even know how we still talk. And then all we do, it's not, so are you going to go on a date tonight?

Speaker 3:It's, we're all in the house for Game of Thrones tonight, right? I have plans. You're canceling them.

Speaker 7:I have canceled plans for Game of Thrones, guys. No, my favorite is when we go.

Speaker 5:We planned family night.

Speaker 1:And Easton's looking at us like, that's every fucking night. And I'm like, I know, but this wasn't planned.

Speaker 3:We talked about it. I went to not scary farm. And it is an amazing thing if you're in the area, go for it.

Speaker 7:But next day, Sosa's birthday, my family looks at me and goes, you just like plan things on very terrible timing.

Speaker 1:You do.

Speaker 7:And I was like, yeah, I was the one who was like, hey, all of my friends, because I'm the planner, I plan things.

Speaker 3:No, I got a text that said we're going on this date and I didn't go.

Speaker 7:Have my two-year-old niece's birthday tomorrow.

Speaker 3:Can't make it, guys. What the fuck?

Speaker 7:Like, Lisa calls me at, like, 9. I had to take two Dramamine, so I didn't throw up. So it's been a couple rough two days. But Lisa calls me in the bitchiest fucking time.

Speaker 3:Because we had all the people setting up. We need to get up and start moving things.

Speaker 7:I get up, and within 20 minutes, everything that she's complaining about is done.

Speaker 3:And then she looks at me, and she goes, are we going to get ice? We need to get ice. We need to put all these out. I'm thinking.

Speaker 7:If I get ice right now, it'll be melted by the time the party starts.

Speaker 3:So just ease up, bitch. Ease up.

Speaker 4:Easton, the whole crew was out there setting up.

Speaker 3:And you had left.

Speaker 4:The whole crew. Dog poo.

Speaker 3:That was already cleaned. I had to clean up.

Speaker 4:I cleaned it up. So yes, it was.

Speaker 3:Lisa.

Speaker 1:I love you guys. This is excellent content.

Speaker 4:So you're welcome.

Speaker 5:She cleans up one turd.

Speaker 4:Thank you.

Speaker 3:And then she followed me around and goes, Easton, there's another one.

Speaker 5:Sorry, I feel badly.

Speaker 1:I feel like I need to back him up just from the weekend we had. Let me back him up.

Speaker 3:Hey, I was good on poop duty.

Speaker 5:You both did great. You both did excellent work yesterday.

Speaker 4:She was the one that told me there was dog poo outside.

Speaker 3:Yeah, I did.

Speaker 5:I was like, Ethan, he's awake.

Speaker 4:She put me on it.

Speaker 3:There's a turd where they're trying to set food. Just to let you know, as.

Speaker 7:They set up, there were like three more just because Bernice was sitting there. She'd eat whatever would fall. She went into the rocks and just went again and then went and begged. So I had to crawl in the rocks and pick.

Speaker 3:It up again.

Speaker 5:It's absolutely repulsive.

Speaker 3:Hey, those dogs protect us.

Speaker 4:I love those dogs.

Speaker 3:Those dogs are my everything.

Speaker 4:It's just poo. We pick it up.

Speaker 3:It's just poo. We pick it up barehanded, put it in the toilet, and flush it. Oh, my God.

Speaker 4:No, you know what broke my heart, though? When I walked out yesterday, and there was a dead possum right in front of our.

Speaker 1:Niecy.

Speaker 3:No, no, no, no, no. It was out in front of the gate. I think it fell out of the... It fell out of the tree? I think it fell out of the palm tree, like 30 feet. And it was so sad. Because it didn't look.

Speaker 5:How big was it?

Speaker 3:It was a baby.

Speaker 7:Can I be honest, Lauren? I think it was the one that was climbing out of the pool.

Speaker 3:Sad. Because it didn't.

Speaker 7:Look like he got hit by a car. There's like no blood anywhere. So it looks like it just hit and just died.

Speaker 1:Oh my God, I can't. We should build a trampoline around.

Speaker 3:Well, then where do I park? If I was there, it could have hit my car and survived.

Speaker 4:Well, last year, the squirrel fell out of the tree.

Speaker 5:That was a couple years ago.

Speaker 1:I'm wondering if I can call the yard people and have them, but then how will they get past it?

Speaker 3:No, no, no, no. Like this. Here's the stump. And then you leave like a little gap like that. And then the net so they can crawl through. But then if they fall, they hit the net.

Speaker 1:They hit the net.

Speaker 3:I'm going to have them build that.

Speaker 1:I'm going to have them build.

Speaker 3:That.

Speaker 4:We have seven palm trees. You can do it on all seven.

Speaker 7:I think we just let nature and mother nature do its thing. Here's how I look at it. We've lived here for three years.

Speaker 1:Yeah.

Speaker 5:Two dead animals.

Speaker 3:Yeah. That's not a bad go.

Speaker 5:An animal a year.

Speaker 1:Oh, God, I can't even talk about it.

Speaker 3:An animal a year.

Speaker 4:So sad.

Speaker 1:How'd you guys feel about Sosa's birthday party? I thought it was.

Speaker 4:Epic. Epic?

Speaker 3:It was epic.

Speaker 7:Her party was epic and Delta's airline food is out of this world.

Speaker 3:Wait, what?

Speaker 7:I said that party was epic and Delta's airline food is out of this world.

Speaker 3:She's not hard to please.

Speaker 1:Oh, I get it.

Speaker 5:No, she loved Isa.

Speaker 4:She loved her. She carried her around this morning.

Speaker 7:Just to let you know, her favorite gift is the cardboard.

Speaker 3:Yes, she's carrying it around right now.

Speaker 1:She kept walking over to make sure that she hadn't left. The cardboard cut out.

Speaker 5:She'd go, Isa, mommy.

Speaker 1:Isa, mommy. And she'd walk around and point. Isa, like, she's still there. I'm like, yes, she's not going to go anywhere. Cardboard cut out.

Speaker 4:No, it was great.

Speaker 5:I left her in the rocking chair last night.

Speaker 3:Issa or your kid? No.

Speaker 1:Miss Issa for us to go to bed.

Speaker 3:So she's just looking at her. Yeah.

Speaker 4:That'd be kind of creepy in the middle of the night. She loved it. I was like, just looking at a fucking room.

Speaker 6:I said, Issa's gonna read you a story when I started the thing.

Speaker 5:And she goes, Issa.

Speaker 3:And what if it just like started rocking with Miss Issa in there?

Speaker 4:Time to move.

Speaker 3:You're watching too much horror.

Speaker 1:She didn't even ask for La Bacalola last night. That's how I'm into you guys. My daughter's obsessed with cows. I'll put her in her crib and she will literally La Bacalola, La Bacalola, La Bacalola, La Bacalola.

Speaker 3:I'm like, oh my God.

Speaker 5:I'm like, I'm getting it. I'm getting it. I'll be right back. She will not stop saying.

Speaker 1:It until the cow enters her crib and she sleeps with it all night like this. She wakes up like that. And I go in at night to cuddle her just like in the middle of the night. I don't know why. It's probably not great.

Speaker 3:Do you get in her crib with her?

Speaker 1:No, I get her out and she'll cuddle. Ocean looks at me like this when I wake her up. She's like sleeping with her eyes open. Sosa's fully awake and I'll be like, She won't cuddle. She literally has to have the cow with her at all freaking times. So now if we have to bring that cardboard cut out everywhere, I'm going to lose my mind.

Speaker 7:No, that can't happen. But she does need... How funny.

Speaker 3:I had a blankie. She has a vacalola.

Speaker 4:But can I tell you what was so cute? Is her boyfriend came to the party yesterday.

Speaker 1:Yes. No.

Speaker 4:And they speak Spanish to each other.

Speaker 1:It's so cute.

Speaker 4:It's the cutest.

Speaker 1:I know. I thought the party was great all we had not all we had i did um mexican food uh cynthia's family makes the best they have like a business so they have come every year for the past it feels like more because we have two birthdays a year obviously And then I did this like little merry-go-round type thing, soft play, a jumpy house with a ball pit that had a slide. And then they did little lunch bags that they could decorate.

Speaker 3:That was way cute.

Speaker 1:Like stony clover type vibe. And I feel like everyone stayed outside most of the time. Ocean played in the playroom for a little bit, took some of her preschool friends into her bedroom to dink around. But it like warmed my soul to see all of them together. And so it's having the best time.

Speaker 4:And the parents were all mingling.

Speaker 1:Yeah, the way that we set up the backyard is actually really nice.

Speaker 4:Yeah, it was very nice.

Speaker 1:And picnic and pedal, they just crush it every single year. It's phenomenal.

Speaker 3:It's just seamless.

Speaker 5:It really is. They come in, they set it up, they dip out.

Speaker 4:Yeah, no.

Speaker 5:And now today, it's like there wasn't even a party.

Speaker 3:No.

Speaker 4:I know.

Speaker 1:Which is my most favorite because when I look around... That's one thing where you're like very in the moment. I start thinking about like all these plates. Oh my gosh.

Speaker 3:Well, thank God for Joe as well.

Speaker 1:Nick and Joe.

Speaker 5:Joe is on it.

Speaker 1:He asked me yesterday, where's the vacuum for me to go upstairs? I was like, Joe, in the laundry room.

Speaker 3:No, he, Joe, you don't need, it's in the laundry room though.

Speaker 4:No, it was great. The whole party was great. Everything was amazing. We had leftovers.

Speaker 3:I sat in the same seat for the whole party.

Speaker 2:I know.

Speaker 5:That's a nice little area.

Speaker 3:Though, back by that fire pit. Right? Got to see the kids playing, throwing balls everywhere.

Speaker 4:You were in the shade.

Speaker 3:In the shade. I had my friends.

Speaker 1:It was fun.

Speaker 3:It was great.

Speaker 1:The only thing that made me sad is we had the party so much later, so my gays weren't able to come.

Speaker 5:Leo had to work.

Speaker 1:Logan was out of town on his annual birthday trip with his mom in Fiji. So I did miss them a lot. And the reason people were asking why I was having her birthday so late, her birthday's on September 3rd. That's Labor Day weekend. Most people are traveling. Then the following weekend, I didn't have Ocean, and I obviously wanted her there to celebrate her sister's birthday.

Speaker 5:So that's what landed us on the 20th.

Speaker 3:I love it.

Speaker 4:I thought they were asking why you had it so late in the day.

Speaker 1:Oh, well, three to five, I was like, It's so freaking hot in that backyard. They won't be able to play on the soft play if the sun's beating down on it.

Speaker 3:It's so terrible, though, because we literally did it at the hottest points of our life.

Speaker 4:No, because it was shady. At 3 o'clock, it was shade. Even all the parents were like, perfect timing.

Speaker 7:I know, I'm just saying, from 3 to 5, 4 o'clock is the highest point of heat.

Speaker 1:Well, because then they got their naps out of the way, too. And you feed them just in time to go home and go to bed.

Speaker 3:And you ran them into the ground.

Speaker 5:And we ran them into the ground.

Speaker 3:And.

Speaker 1:Monday is Yom Kippur, so no school. It's a win-win-win.

Speaker 5:It was like a win-win-win-win-win.

Speaker 3:It's like we had it on a Saturday.

Speaker 1:Let's bop into some headlines. Traders Season 6 cast was announced. It's already Season 6?

Speaker 3:What's the new one?

Speaker 5:It's just with regular.

Speaker 3:Old people, right?

Speaker 7:Yeah, which I kind of like. I think that is one that I will be tuning into. I tune into all of them.

Speaker 1:So we have Bianca Del Rio, RuPaul's Drag Race, Bowman Martinez-Reed, content creator Bronwyn Newport from Salt Lake.

Speaker 3:What is she doing? She's on Traders? Yep.

Speaker 1:Casey Wilson, who's an actress and comedian. Chloe Kim is an Olympic snowboarder.

Speaker 3:Chloe Kim?

Speaker 7:Yep.

Speaker 3:Yeah.

Speaker 6:I know.

Speaker 3:She's dope.

Speaker 1:Cody Simpson, singer-swimmer, Craig Conover. Southern Charms, very own, obviously. Dominic Monaghan, Law Slash Lord of the Rings, Amira Despain, Next Gen. My fave. Giselle Bryant from Potomac. I don't know how to say this word. Is that an I? Ian? Ian Sterling, Love Island narrator.

Speaker 4:Or is it Ian?

Speaker 1:I don't know. Jack Baines from Big Brother, Jana Craig, Love Island USA, Joey Brazaday. The Bachelor. Johnny Sibley is an actor. Kristen Chenoweth, who we all know, Broadway star.

Speaker 3:How many people?

Speaker 1:There's a lot. Michelle Fitzgerald, Survivor. Q Burdett, Survivor. Rachel Robinson, The Challenge. Rashad Jennings, NFL. Taylor Hale, Big Brother. And Whitney Levitt from Mormon Wives. This is a great lineup. I can't say it's the greatest to ever exist, but it's a good one.

Speaker 3:And you said Whitney Levitt? Yeah, from Mormon Wives.

Speaker 1:Do you know her?

Speaker 3:Well, no, she's just on that.

Speaker 7:Honestly, I like the way that she and I don't know her husband's name. He's on Connor. He's on Dancing with the Stars this year. But the way they're handling them, he already got booted?

Speaker 3:No! I like him. I don't know if he's good at dancing.

Speaker 4:Obviously not.

Speaker 3:Probably not. I don't know.

Speaker 7:I just like the way they're handling themselves outside of the Mormon Wives cast.

Speaker 3:So, yeah, go do your thing. Do your thing.

Speaker 1:Okay.

Speaker 4:There was a sad headline today.

Speaker 1:Yeah, very sad. Cindy Crawford's son, Presley Gerber, died at 27 after entering rehab.

Speaker 4:The L.A.

Speaker 1:County medical examiner confirmed that he died at a rehabilitation facility, but the facility's name has not been publicly disclosed in reliable reporting so far. Reports describe it has been in the Los Angeles area. One report says he was living in a sober house setting on the facility's grounds. So it's like an inpatient sober living.

Speaker 3:Okay.

Speaker 1:Where they, so sometimes they'll put you from a rehab center and then slow roll you into like real life again. So in a sober living, but it sounds like it was on the same grounds. It also says a call was dispatched to Santa Monica revealing that first responders were responding to an overdose at the address. And apparently he went into cardiac arrest right before he passed. So sad.

Speaker 4:Oh, it's tragic. Tragic.

Speaker 1:Are you going to cry?

Speaker 4:Oh, mama. Here's a tissue.

Speaker 1:She hasn't been the same since Real Housewives of Salt Lake.

Speaker 4:It's really getting to me.

Speaker 1:I know.

Speaker 6:What is?

Speaker 4:People losing their kids.

Speaker 7:I mean, I don't think there's anything sadder than that. I could never imagine burying a child.

Speaker 1:No.

Speaker 4:You're not supposed to.

Speaker 3:No.

Speaker 1:We talk about that. A lot that, like, I feel like we come to this earth and we are just born with the ability to cope with the loss of, like, our grandparents and parents because that's the circle of life.

Speaker 4:But that's.

Speaker 1:Heartbreaking.

Speaker 5:We watched... Because.

Speaker 1:I want to start doing a segment since Bravo is rolling out their reality shows like nobody's business right now. So I want to start a segment called Bravo Bravo.

Speaker 5:Fucking Bravo.

Speaker 1:But it feels like a little intense. Let's start off with Salt Lake so we can run through it. Are you cool with that, Mom?

Speaker 6:Yes.

Speaker 1:I was talking to Amber, and I feel like it was— One of the most well-done first episodes, if not the most well-done episode. Why can I not talk?

Speaker 5:I need to start.

Speaker 1:Doing red leather, yellow leather before podcasting.

Speaker 4:No, for real. I can't do it. Like it's too early.

Speaker 5:My mouth doesn't know how to work.

Speaker 1:One of the greatest episodes that I've ever seen of reality TV. From like the music that they played to everyone's storyline and being so open. Like every single cast member has such an amazing storyline already.

Speaker 4:They do.

Speaker 1:It almost like reignited my appreciation and love for reality TV. Yeah.

Speaker 4:I got it. I can't even talk about it.

Speaker 1:Look at her.

Speaker 3:I can't. Oh, mom. I love you so much. Do we want to talk about why you're crying? Because Mary losing her son. The dog?

Speaker 1:Yeah, the dog is what sent. I mean, obviously the whole thing sent, Mom. But that was like the first scene that Mary had back after losing her son was her calling for the dog. And the dog's name is Cray and was sitting in Robert Jr.

Speaker 2:'s room.

Speaker 1:It was like he had like a little sitting area and then the bed. And the dog was... up against the bed and like peeking around the chair at the camera people. And you could just tell like he was obviously very nervous. And Mary says in the episode that the dog hasn't really left the room. And then they show all of these photos of Robert Jr. with his dog. Mary just talks about how, you know, having this dog brings her a tremendous amount of peace because it's a piece of her son and they had such a beautiful bond.

Speaker 1:And then listening to the women talk about how Mary has handled the loss of her son. Bronwyn says, every time I speak to Mary, the conversations continue to blow my mind with how strong she's been. And then Angie has said, because they're, I think, the closest of the cast. They're, like, truly best friends. And Angie says, you know, she does have moments of being very strong, and then there are moments where she'll say, I can't believe I'm never going to see my baby again.

Speaker 5:And You know, I think when you have.

Speaker 1:No matter what your religion is, when you are really set in your faith, I think it does give you the ability to maintain strength during such significant loss. I think we saw that with Grandma B a lot.

Speaker 4:Absolutely, yeah.

Speaker 1:Who was my dad's mom and.

Speaker 5:Very, very Mormon.

Speaker 1:Like I, to the point where I think she would have put her life on the line because Saying, like, this church is true. Yeah. But when people would pass, I mean, my grandma would.

Speaker 4:Celebrate.

Speaker 1:Be all smiles.

Speaker 4:Like, life after death. They went home. Yeah.

Speaker 5:No, there's nothing to be sad about.

Speaker 1:I'm like....

Speaker 3:There's a little bit to be sad about.

Speaker 1:And I'm not saying that she was, like, insane about it. Like, no, this is great.

Speaker 5:I'm so happy they're dead.

Speaker 3:I feel like she was the rock for, like, 50 people. Her kids, her grandkids.

Speaker 4:Yeah.

Speaker 1:Well, let me tell you, when we would, after my grandma passed, you said that you were related to Grandma B or that was your grandma. I mean, people, I know you have your feelings about her mom.

Speaker 4:No, everyone loved her.

Speaker 1:Everyone loved her.

Speaker 3:No, I mean, we all have our feelings. Everybody in every family can have their little feelings. Every family has things that come up.

Speaker 1:She got funky in her old age.

Speaker 3:Yes. But who knows?

Speaker 7:That could have been Alzheimer's.

Speaker 4:The teacher. Everyone was like, oh. I had her in first grade or blah, blah, blah, blah.

Speaker 3:No, they loved her.

Speaker 4:Everybody loved her.

Speaker 3:Isn't that where the B is?

Speaker 4:She's a good egg.

Speaker 1:What B? Have the B for Grandma B.

Speaker 5:Yeah, you got Grandma B.

Speaker 3:Yeah. Come on now.

Speaker 1:So I think that Mary has that a bit of, just for reference of like, he went home.

Speaker 3:How she's handling it. Yeah.

Speaker 1:And she said he's finally at peace because it's not that, you know, he, we saw it last season when he was talking about how lonely he felt and that he was definitely struggling with addiction and I think she finds peace in knowing that he's okay yeah and then Heather's storyline I fucking love her what's her storyline I just she has a boyfriend she hasn't been in a relationship in a long time.

Speaker 3:I mean, how long has it been?

Speaker 5:I think like 2016.

Speaker 3:Okay, because I was going to say, through the whole show, I've never seen her have a boyfriend through any of them. Am I wrong? No. So this is new. Okay.

Speaker 1:They've known each other for a very long time.

Speaker 3:Best way to start it.

Speaker 1:And he was doing work on beauty lab and they connected. They started dating. She caught him texting other girls. They went their separate ways. She didn't date or have a boyfriend who she was committed to for that entire period of time. And then he had just reached out and they rekindled. And there's just something about, even though I don't relate to this right now, I've only been a mom for five and a half years. She's been a mom for like 27 years. I think less than that.

Speaker 1:What's her oldest?

Speaker 3:22?

Speaker 4:And alone for part of it.

Speaker 5:Well, she's been a single mom.

Speaker 6:Yeah.

Speaker 1:And she talks about... I have an empty nest and I fucking love it.

Speaker 3:Go.

Speaker 1:She's like, the moment they left the house.

Speaker 5:I deadbolted, locked the door. Like talks about how it feels so good.

Speaker 1:Sometimes she'll have a dream about hearing pitter patter come down the stairs and saying mom. And it like freaks her out. And then she remembers everyone's gone. And she's like, and I'm loving no one here.

Speaker 4:And she contacted the guy.

Speaker 1:Oh, she is the one that contacted him?

Speaker 4:She reached out.

Speaker 5:Oh, see, this is why you're here. Tell us the important shit. I missed that part.

Speaker 3:Yeah.

Speaker 1:What did she say?

Speaker 4:Did she say? Well, she just reached out to him and saw that he was interested and she was interested and kaboom.

Speaker 1:And I love.

Speaker 3:He better not be texting other bitches.

Speaker 1:Well, the daughter, the oldest, is like, what's going to be different this time? Like quizzes him.

Speaker 3:Yeah.

Speaker 1:But it didn't feel like sometimes when you watch reality shows, you're like, this is for TV.

Speaker 5:I didn't feel like it was.

Speaker 4:I felt like it was genuine, a genuine thing.

Speaker 1:Right. Like I've watched my mom be a single person for a long time and go through a lot of hurt.

Speaker 5:So like, what are your intentions, dog?

Speaker 3:Yeah.

Speaker 1:And then she gets on his motorcycle, and he has a helmet for her that says Heather. And I'm like, this bitch is just living her best life. Oh, yeah. In that big old fucking house, New York Times bestseller, hot boyfriend, riding motorcycles.

Speaker 3:Who is she?

Speaker 4:She's figured it out.

Speaker 1:You little filthy fucking Mormon.

Speaker 3:You little filthy fucking ex-Mormon.

Speaker 4:She's a horrendous Mormon.

Speaker 3:You ex-Mormon, you.

Speaker 4:And then Bronwyn, she was gone for seven weeks with that guy.

Speaker 5:With this young man.

Speaker 4:Traveling all over the countryside. They went to Park City. Where else did they go?

Speaker 5:They went to Paris Fashion Week.

Speaker 6:New York.

Speaker 5:They were all over the place.

Speaker 3:Who's the guy?

Speaker 1:He's really cute.

Speaker 4:Is he a model?

Speaker 5:He is a model, and he has a cute name, too. I forgot it already.

Speaker 4:His last name's Wood.

Speaker 5:Brandon Wood.

Speaker 3:Is it Wood? And he's laying that wood.

Speaker 1:Yeah, I'm into it. But I'm excited for this scene because she sits down with Todd and says, you know, it's really funny because you're so comfortable with having secrets. And the secrets, what does she say?

Speaker 5:It's only a problem when I bring them up.

Speaker 4:Yeah. Didn't he rip off his mic and start up?

Speaker 2:I'm not doing this.

Speaker 5:And she just sits there like, bye.

Speaker 1:See ya.

Speaker 5:Piped by Brandon Wood.

Speaker 3:Like Brandon's Wood Wood. I'm going to go get Brandon's Wood Wood.

Speaker 5:Brandon Wood's Wood. So good. Lisa with that beautiful moment with her husband.

Speaker 3:Oh, okay. Meredith.

Speaker 1:Her facelift is a fucking storyline in itself.

Speaker 3:She looks so fucking good.

Speaker 1:I was like, what has she done?

Speaker 5:She looks incredible.

Speaker 3:Just her whole damn face.

Speaker 1:And then right when I say that, they're like, let's talk about your face. I'm like, I think she went to Lindsay Lohan and Kris Jenner's doctor. Oh, yeah?

Speaker 4:No, she looks... Five stars.

Speaker 1:I mean, I was like, I want that.

Speaker 3:I might have to look this up.

Speaker 4:Oh, like you need it.

Speaker 1:Gosh, I'm just so excited for the season. I don't even know where to start. Everyone's storyline is so good.

Speaker 5:Salt Lake only.

Speaker 3:Has one episode out? Whitney Rose.

Speaker 5:Whitney Rose.

Speaker 1:She's going to be having the conversation about she and Justin. Angie has the conversation with her husband.

Speaker 7:Angie, I mean, I don't know if I don't know, like Angie, I care more about like Whitney and Justin's relationship more maybe because I'm like closer to Justin than I know.

Speaker 3:Yeah. Like I know him.

Speaker 4:Well, it's such a flip flop thing. Cause now I feel like they were all married and then we had the singles. Now the singles are all hooking up and the, Marrieds are single. Parting ways.

Speaker 1:Well, like you always say when I'm like, mom, I've never been married. I've never had this. I've never had that.

Speaker 5:You're like, right.

Speaker 1:But all of the people who have that are now getting divorced. And I'm like, you're right.

Speaker 5:I mean, it's that.

Speaker 4:Yeah.

Speaker 1:That's happening. Round two.

Speaker 4:Yep.

Speaker 1:And then there's a new girl who has not made her appearance yet. Her name's Ashley Kwai. I feel like I remember this name from when I lived in Utah.

Speaker 3:Kwai?

Speaker 1:Yeah.

Speaker 3:Not me. Not me either.

Speaker 5:I'm feeling like I.

Speaker 3:Unless it was a Durham. Balling.

Speaker 2:Balling.

Speaker 5:The fucking Durhams were balling.

Speaker 3:That house.

Speaker 5:They threw my 14th birthday party.

Speaker 3:The castle? Yeah. Guys, this house. Jeez Louise, man.

Speaker 7:15 foot just concrete walls. You go into it.

Speaker 5:Way higher than 15 feet.

Speaker 3:Maybe 20.

Speaker 5:It was gorgeous.

Speaker 3:Oh, my God.

Speaker 7:The backyard behind it had mazes with trees.

Speaker 6:Oh, no.

Speaker 4:It was fabulous.

Speaker 3:It was really gorgeous.

Speaker 4:You know what's crazy, too, is now St. George is getting all of these multi, multi-million dollar.

Speaker 3:Homes being built.

Speaker 1:I know.

Speaker 3:We need to get out of there.

Speaker 4:Tech.

Speaker 1:Mom, you got to sell that house, dude.

Speaker 4:Okay.

Speaker 5:I'm like, what are you doing?

Speaker 3:What are you doing? She doesn't know. dad's there dad.

Speaker 7:Is loving being there no he is not there and if he is there we need to go pick him up because what is he doing there.

Speaker 4:Yeah what is he doing on the patio.

Speaker 7:With all oh that terror oh what a depressing with no friends.

Speaker 4:He loved it he drank his wine.

Speaker 7:Yeah with mick and all of them and none of them are there anymore no.

Speaker 5:Everyone's dead and gone literally all of.

Speaker 1:His friends died dead and gone So let it go.

Speaker 4:Are you trying to make me cry again?

Speaker 1:You bought that house for like $ 80, 000. It's like in.

Speaker 5:The $ 300, 000 now. Get rid of it. What are you doing?

Speaker 4:I got it on a short sale, guys.

Speaker 3:She thrifted her house. She thrifted her house.

Speaker 5:She thrifts for real estate.

Speaker 1:Good for you.

Speaker 3:Hey. The best way to thrift.

Speaker 1:I am excited because I am having Heather Gay on the podcast.

Speaker 3:Which one?

Speaker 5:She's got a new book.

Speaker 3:This one?

Speaker 1:I think we have her in October.

Speaker 5:So right around the corner.

Speaker 3:I love that. Day off.

Speaker 4:She's here.

Speaker 3:I get a day off.

Speaker 5:Oh, you're missing. No, you should join.

Speaker 4:She's going to love you.

Speaker 3:All right, I'm going to ask some questions to good old Heather.

Speaker 1:Yeah, that's the point of the pod. Roni, so far, Psy's getting divorced, and she does not have a prenup.

Speaker 3:Psy?

Speaker 6:Yeah.

Speaker 3:All right, Psy, hit me up.

Speaker 1:They did not keep very many of the old school housewives, only three.

Speaker 3:I like Psy.

Speaker 5:I love Psy.

Speaker 1:They kept Psy, Jessel.

Speaker 5:And Aaron.

Speaker 3:Wow.

Speaker 6:Yeah.

Speaker 4:Great ones.

Speaker 5:I think so.

Speaker 3:Jessel. I'm very attracted to Jessel. Who isn't? Is she still married?

Speaker 1:I think they go through some stuff in this season. Do they?

Speaker 3:Here's the thing. It's going to be a good season.

Speaker 7:I don't know his name, but I really like it.

Speaker 3:He's like a little dweeb, kind of, but he's so great. I love him. Every time I see him, I'm like, I want to hang out with you.

Speaker 4:Is he the one that wanted to fly to Vietnam for 24 hours?

Speaker 1:Yes. Jack is like a little vacation because the flights are really great, I guess.

Speaker 3:No, he is me, I am him.

Speaker 6:Oh, really?

Speaker 5:You want to fly, Mr. Dramamine?

Speaker 3:Mr.

Speaker 5:I'm-her-barf-in-a-bag-the-whole-way? Are you joking?

Speaker 3:As long as we get there.

Speaker 4:Can I tell you, our pods that we experienced going to Ohio were next level.

Speaker 3:I'm not kidding you. I walked by mom and I thought she was dead.

Speaker 4:I was the best.

Speaker 1:Did you have a life flat?

Speaker 4:I don't blame him for going to Vietnam. I was hoping that our flight was longer.

Speaker 7:It was probably like, I didn't care to be in Vietnam. Just put me in the pod for eight hours.

Speaker 4:I was hoping that it was longer.

Speaker 5:The one to London?

Speaker 1:Yeah. Oh my gosh. Feathered beds?

Speaker 4:We had a feathered bed.

Speaker 5:Really?

Speaker 3:To Ohio?

Speaker 4:No, because it had come from Hong Kong.

Speaker 5:Oh, you were on Delta One.

Speaker 3:Lisa looked like she was... Hold on, ask what the flight attendant asked you.

Speaker 4:If I had just come from Hong Kong. She was so dumb.

Speaker 3:She goes, did you just come from Hong Kong? Nope, just literally got on the plane.

Speaker 4:You joking? No, it was the best. I would peep my eye open when the cookies would come by and the nuts.

Speaker 5:The cookies and the nuts.

Speaker 4:Yeah, with all the yumminess.

Speaker 3:And then I'd go.

Speaker 4:Back to sleep.

Speaker 1:I love you. You're so weird.

Speaker 3:It was the best.

Speaker 5:A nut for a nut.

Speaker 3:They were warm. It was a flight.

Speaker 1:Ocean is asking if she can have cake. Can I give her some or do I tell her after lunch?

Speaker 4:Just give it to her.

Speaker 3:Just warm.

Speaker 1:You.

Speaker 3:It's a party day.

Speaker 1:She can have some.

Speaker 4:Make Cynthia's life easier.

Speaker 1:She can have some.

Speaker 3:LOL.

Speaker 1:Thank you. Aww. That kid is driven by sweets.

Speaker 3:Sweets and gifts. You should have seen her. She just... Got up on it and started ripping open gifts. We had to go in and go, well, no, no.

Speaker 1:I don't know how to explain to her that they're not hers. She's not understanding.

Speaker 4:No, she knows. She's going to open them for Sosa because Sosa doesn't know how to open a gift. Oh, okay.

Speaker 1:Oh, my God. I'm still caught up on Lisa. The woman thinking she came from Hong Kong. So exhausted.

Speaker 3:Oh, my God.

Speaker 1:That flight's only like, what, four hours?

Speaker 4:Not long enough.

Speaker 3:Four and a half.

Speaker 5:That's it?

Speaker 6:Yeah.

Speaker 1:So you really only get, what, three, maybe two and a half in the air? Half of that is ascending and descending.

Speaker 4:I don't know. I was wishing it was longer.

Speaker 1:You know what?

Speaker 5:I'll take you on one of those to go to Europe.

Speaker 1:You'll have the time of your life. They wake you up with the yummiest of coffees and pastries, and you're just in your little feather bed, cozy socks, a robe if you need. I know. I know.

Speaker 4:I had all that.

Speaker 1:Yeah, but you were going to Ohio, so let me take you somewhere where the destination's a little more riveting.

Speaker 3:Not Columbus.

Speaker 1:Yeah, not Columbus.

Speaker 5:Carol is back.

Speaker 3:Carol Baskin? I'm thrilled.

Speaker 5:Carol Baskin.

Speaker 3:Shot her husband. Whacked him. Carol Radcliffe. All right.

Speaker 1:Radswell.

Speaker 4:Radswell. Not Daniel Radcliffe.

Speaker 3:I like the confidence you have behind it, though.

Speaker 1:She's being questioned about Carolyn Bessette.

Speaker 4:What?

Speaker 3:Not Carolyn.

Speaker 5:Are you joking?

Speaker 4:What did you just say?

Speaker 1:She's being questioned about Carolyn Bessette, JFK Jr. 's wife.

Speaker 6:I know.

Speaker 4:The 90s have made a comeback in fashion because of that show. Yes, they have.

Speaker 1:The problem is with 90s fashion is you have to have a flat ass and stuff, and I don't want that.

Speaker 4:And I have that.

Speaker 5:Like, oh yeah, you for sure do.

Speaker 1:Like, the way clothes would hang on someone in the 90s, I don't want that. Like, I'm trying to have tiggled bitties, fat ass.

Speaker 4:So you want to be out of style?

Speaker 1:Sure. I want someone to be able to grab onto something.

Speaker 4:Okay.

Speaker 3:You know?

Speaker 4:Yeah.

Speaker 1:Because 90s style is essentially a ponytail tank top and jeans.

Speaker 3:And like a little low fur.

Speaker 4:And cute sweaters.

Speaker 1:I can't. Not my vibe.

Speaker 4:I like a sweatshirt. Okay.

Speaker 5:I don't look good in that stuff.

Speaker 1:And every time I try to wear, like, 90s fashion, I feel like I'm having imposter syndrome. I'm like, where's my hoodie with my Jordan 1s? Like, it's just not— it doesn't look good on me.

Speaker 4:So you don't like to dress up?

Speaker 3:Fuck you.

Speaker 1:No, I don't. I don't like to get ready at all. It's, like, such— It exhausts me, the thought. Like, women who show up and they've got, like, makeup on and stuff on, like, a regular Tuesday.

Speaker 5:I'm like, that sounds so hard.

Speaker 3:I know. When I went to Knott's Berry Farm and, like, all these girls had, like, makeup on, I was like.

Speaker 4:It looked pretty.

Speaker 3:Oh, they looked beautiful.

Speaker 4:What were you like?

Speaker 7:If I was a woman, I'd be repulsive. I wouldn't try. I wouldn't shave my armpits.

Speaker 5:Or you'd be, like, a hippie.

Speaker 3:I think I'd be a little granola.

Speaker 1:Like, a little granola.

Speaker 6:Yeah.

Speaker 5:A little crunchy.

Speaker 4:No, Lauren, you look really cute in your style.

Speaker 3:Like a salmon upstream.

Speaker 4:I like your style for you.

Speaker 5:I like your style for you. Not in general, but for you.

Speaker 4:Well, I couldn't wear it.

Speaker 3:Well, no.

Speaker 5:Actually, I think you could.

Speaker 4:Really?

Speaker 1:I think you'd look really cute in like a little hoodie, sweatpants, and some Jordans. Don't you think?

Speaker 3:You dress like you're getting out of a tent in the morning.

Speaker 1:Getting out of a tent?

Speaker 3:Yeah.

Speaker 5:What do you mean?

Speaker 3:Homeless.

Speaker 1:Oh, homeless.

Speaker 3:We're getting it.

Speaker 1:I thought you meant like camping boots and.

Speaker 3:Things like that. No, no, you're homeless.

Speaker 7:You're coming out and you get out of your tent and you see the L.A. River beautiful in your homeless clothes.

Speaker 1:I don't feel like I... I have Alexander Wang shoes on.

Speaker 4:You look cute.

Speaker 3:Alexander... Why do I feel like I have.

Speaker 1:To defend myself right now?

Speaker 5:I'm feeling backed into a corner.

Speaker 1:You don't.

Speaker 6:Yeah. Yeah.

Speaker 1:Anyway.

Speaker 3:You don't.

Speaker 1:Real Housewives of OC, Vicky is having a very Vicky season. I saw on socials, it was like, Vicky is on two shows right now and has the same storyline on both. She doesn't want to be there and would rather be selling insurance.

Speaker 4:I thought it was kind of sad, though. Her talking to Tamara.

Speaker 1:It broke my heart.

Speaker 4:Do you want to cry?

Speaker 3:No. Do you want to cry? It's been a day. Tell us.

Speaker 4:But it was sad.

Speaker 3:Yeah, I want to hear what? Tell me.

Speaker 4:Because I think she feels lonely. Her kids are all gone.

Speaker 7:She needs to hang out with Heather Gay.

Speaker 4:Her boyfriend travels five days a week, and he seems a little rough and tough.

Speaker 3:Well, get rid of that. Get rid of the bag.

Speaker 4:They bought two houses together. Easier said than done.

Speaker 1:I think three. I think they've got the one in the desert, the one in OC, and the one in Mexico.

Speaker 4:I think that one's just hers.

Speaker 3:All right, sell them all. Split the funds. Get on your way.

Speaker 1:It's easier said than done.

Speaker 3:I know, that's why I'm saying it.

Speaker 1:You know, I also, and I don't know why this is, but when I see women in their late 40s to 50s, I don't know why I relate to them so much because they're, like, I have small children. My children live in the house. But listening to them and, like, the way they talk about having an empty nest and, like, not having a partner, I feel like the way they're talking.

Speaker 3:Fits your life better.

Speaker 1:You well it just it puts me in fear.

Speaker 7:Okay well you're an old soul yeah and if you're so weird about time don't think about it get back to you you.

Speaker 1:Think maybe i experienced that in my last life like being lonely.

Speaker 4:Maybe hmm.

Speaker 7:And now you're just copy pasting don't say that it's a joke.

Speaker 3:No, I don't think you were a lonely human being in your last life.

Speaker 4:No, I don't either.

Speaker 5:But why do I relate to them so much?

Speaker 4:You know we love to tease you.

Speaker 1:No, I know that. I've just been wondering like what it is the past few months where I'm relating to things that I haven't.

Speaker 4:Because your daughter just started kindergarten. That is a huge milestone.

Speaker 3:Yeah.

Speaker 4:Your other one just turned two. Another year she'll be in preschool. You're thinking about all these things.

Speaker 1:Yeah.

Speaker 7:And I think when, because she's in, and what's crazy is like, because we didn't go through it, it feels like, like kindergarten for her, she's going with like seniors.

Speaker 3:Yeah.

Speaker 7:Like when I got, like I picked her up off the bus and I thought it was an adult.

Speaker 1:Yeah.

Speaker 3:He looked older than me and he got off the bus. I was like, what the hell's going on here?

Speaker 1:Right.

Speaker 3:So that's the other thing.

Speaker 7:It's like, I feel like because you're picking her up, you're seeing all of these older kids that like you're preparing for that as well, subconsciously.

Speaker 3:When it was us, it was like sixth grade. Oh, so that we were all kids. So it wasn't like you didn't see the middle schoolers, the high schoolers, but now you do. So I feel like subconsciously you could be stepping into that role as well of like, I have to have her prepared for this because you're seeing it. Yeah.

Speaker 1:And the parents who are dropping their kids off who are much older. Yeah. Like I'll say to Ocean as she's getting on the bus, I'm like, I love you. And she'll stop and turn around and say.

Speaker 5:I love you, mom.

Speaker 1:And the parents are.

Speaker 5:Like, oh my gosh, I miss those days. And I'm like, don't say that to me. Don't say you miss.

Speaker 3:I know. Because I look on that bus and I'm like, oh.

Speaker 5:I am that person. When I see a pregnant person, I turn into an insane human.

Speaker 1:And I'm like, enjoy it.

Speaker 4:I can't control myself.

Speaker 5:They're looking at me like, did you take your meds today?

Speaker 1:I can never tell the couples that are going to get divorced or not.

Speaker 5:I know Emily's struggling in her marriage.

Speaker 4:I don't think they'll get divorced.

Speaker 3:I have to say something. I'm never looking again and going, they're going to make it. They're going to make it.

Speaker 7:Because back to the other point, who thought Heidi and Spencer were going to make it in that one?

Speaker 3:Exactly. So now it's like they're the only ones together from that, right? So my picker's real shit.

Speaker 1:You would have looked at Kyle and Mauricio and been like, they are rocking it until death.

Speaker 3:They have it together.

Speaker 7:Yeah.

Speaker 4:No, Emily's going to stay with her.

Speaker 3:Who has the most rough relationship? They'll make it.

Speaker 1:They're being tested right now. It's because of the kids.

Speaker 5:Is it the kids?

Speaker 3:Hold on.

Speaker 7:Or is it because I also saw something because she looks amazing now. And people were saying, is she outgrowing that pot that she was in?

Speaker 3:Oh. So that is the one thing that I... can contribute to this conversation. I like contribute. I contributed. Yeah.

Speaker 7:No, you make an excellent point. Yeah, she's outgrowing her pot. And he may not be enough for her. Because now she's a bad bitch.

Speaker 4:Thank you.

Speaker 3:She was a bad bitch before, though.

Speaker 5:She's always been a bad bitch.

Speaker 1:And you also have to remember, she passed the bar and Shane had to take it like seven times before he passed.

Speaker 4:And he's a stay-at-home dad.

Speaker 1:Now he's a stay-at-home dad. She is obviously... up in the gym working on her fitness which I relate to but not even on the same scale like she has to go every day and I think it's also for her mental health So she takes time away to do that. She takes time away to film. She's a part of the Innocence Center, where, correct me if I'm wrong, people who were falsely accused, I think she does a lot of work with them as well. And then her son is going through a lot health-wise. And I think their marriage is being tested. So I don't know. There was also, and I bring this couple up all the time, the Takemans from OG Roni. When you watch them, you're like, these people hate each other and they're getting forced. They're still together to this day.

Speaker 3:What did I just say? Who hates each other the most? They'll make it.

Speaker 5:Well, the ones that are willing to fight each other on camera.

Speaker 1:And then when you have to go back and watch that and be like, wow, we really need to pull our shit together.

Speaker 7:I think that's where they get it together is like watching themselves and they're like, holy shit, we got to work on this.

Speaker 4:Well, Lisa on Salt Lake Housewives, remember? She watched it back and.

Speaker 1:With her husband.

Speaker 4:Yeah, broke her heart.

Speaker 3:The way she handled things?

Speaker 4:Yeah, they were at each other. But they've come around.

Speaker 1:Well, I thought that scene was really sweet with him.

Speaker 4:Me too.

Speaker 1:You could tell he felt horrible.

Speaker 4:Yeah. He's feeling less than. That's why he treated her the way he did.

Speaker 3:I was just going to say... For... Who are we talking about who just looks amazing? Emily. It won't work if he needs to find something.

Speaker 1:That fulfills him?

Speaker 3:Yeah. Whether that be a job or something, because we've seen it. Mm-hmm. with a couple of bees, a couple of, a couple of guys with the bees. Yeah. Yeah. And like, that's the thing.

Speaker 5:They don't have anything.

Speaker 7:And that's the other thing that's like hard in the Bravo world that I will say is it's like, it's mostly women, unless you're talking about like Southern charm or things like that.

Speaker 1:Um, These women, their entire lives are changed after you become a housewife.

Speaker 3:And so is the man.

Speaker 7:Because as a man, like your wife that you were taking care of and doing all these things starts getting things and then outgrowing the pot and things like that. And as a man, you start thinking, am I enough? What do I need to do?

Speaker 3:She's the.

Speaker 7:And then you start this thing and then you start to resent and then you start hitting.

Speaker 5:Just so interesting because these wives.

Speaker 1:You start hitting.

Speaker 7:No, you start like hitting that wall. Like you start hitting a wall. You start hitting each other.

Speaker 3:You start just beating the fuck out of each other. One of you is in prison. The other one is dead. It's just bad.

Speaker 7:But you hit that wall and then you're like, where else to go but to argue.

Speaker 1:That's why I always say these Bravo shows. A lot of people say that it pits women against each other. we're making reality TV and it's taking very strong personalities with free will saying, do you want to be a part of this show? We'd love to have you and putting them on a show together. But it's wild where the women have been supporting their husbands this whole time, holding down the household. And then when they sign up for these reality shows, the men feel small and just can't.

Speaker 3:Fucking handle it. It's like, come on. Well, not small, but look at Justin. Yeah. What happened to him in his career?

Speaker 1:He got fired.

Speaker 7:There you go. So it's like, at what point? And now what, what does Justin do? Like, do you go and find that same thing? But now you're on a TV show where that is a thing. And now you're seeing, and now people are like, we don't want to hire you because this comes in. So now how does he, so it's difficult. I'm telling you, it really is. It's a hard, I just see it from the man.

Speaker 3:Not for me. Cause I'm not anywhere in that thing, but I understand where things can get difficult just for a man in the Bravo world. I'm sorry.

Speaker 7:It really is a difficult like thing. Back to the point of the guy selling pillows.

Speaker 3:Oh, Craig. Craig. Yeah. Look at that. He was like, all women follow me. What do I have to do? Fucking pillows.

Speaker 1:Well, he started just sewing things out of boredom.

Speaker 3:Pillows. Here we go. But like, that's the thing. It's like he made his career in a woman's. like in decor yeah you're right like it's.

Speaker 7:Very handsome there it's just very tough for him and then you got a dj but like the only reason why he's successful is because he's on the fucking show right take him off nobody's going to watch a dj there buddy i don't know maybe yeah.

Speaker 1:I think james makes a living off of djing and he's.

Speaker 4:Not on the show Yeah, you're right.

Speaker 3:I haven't seen James Kennedy's name in God knows how long.

Speaker 5:But I think he's crushing it still.

Speaker 3:He's still making music.

Speaker 5:Yeah, I really do.

Speaker 3:I hope he is. I really do.

Speaker 7:But I don't think I've seen him in anything Las Vegas-oriented on their shirt.

Speaker 4:Have we looked?

Speaker 3:You've got to be in the bubble. Yeah, I guess you've got to be in the bubble.

Speaker 1:But... Patronic is coming back, you guys. I'm thrilled about this.

Speaker 4:Karen Huger. Is she coming back? Oh, yes.

Speaker 1:Six months in prison. She's back at it. And in the preview, she's like, I got street cred now. She's not afraid of anything.

Speaker 3:Is Jen Shaw coming back? Jen Shaw? Because she's out.

Speaker 6:Jen?

Speaker 3:Jen Shaw.

Speaker 4:No.

Speaker 3:No more touching that one? No, no, no, no. Okay, bravo. I see you. No.

Speaker 5:Breaking news. Taylor is out.

Speaker 3:You don't say with all the failed drug tests. Oh, really?

Speaker 5:All right, let's get into it after this.

Speaker 1:Taylor Frankie Paul, my gratitude goes to all the networks that supported me throughout this and gave me the chance to return.

Speaker 5:However, I don't desire to move forward like this.

Speaker 1:I originally was willing to be removed to let them all continue on with less stress, and I'm back to that point. Some of the girls know what I've been through, and then to turn and collectively pile on with their statements, knowing they're... has been ongoing abuse through the system the last eight months on top of what I've endured. Almost the entire cast plus some going at me laughing about my kids is disgusting and I bit my tongue. These same people had meetings telling me I need to lead the way of pay and What does that mean? My voice was the only one that can make it happen, and then they would work from what I demanded. I'm grateful I never followed through with their requests of demands, and I'm grateful I kept same pay out of fairness and integrity. I treated production and crew with respect always.

Speaker 1:In fact, they're the ones who checked on me throughout this. I agree it's to the point of bullying for months now. What makes it harder to take in is some of these Parents have made mistakes that would result in the same judgment I'm receiving yet pointing a finger. However, it is a pleasure to remove myself so they can continue because I've almost convinced myself I'm deserving of all of this pain. And to a certain degree, absolutely. This is consequences of my actions. My question has been how much suffering and scrutiny is going to be enough. I'm just relieved to be out.

Speaker 4:You know, I've been watching that show.

Speaker 1:Yeah, and are you liking it?

Speaker 4:Well, I just wanted to see what all the hype was.

Speaker 3:Are you seeing it?

Speaker 4:I'm on the fourth episode in season one, so I'm just barely getting into it.

Speaker 1:Yeah, because I think they're on what, season four?

Speaker 3:I think so.

Speaker 1:I think they pump out two seasons a year. I think. I'm not 100% sure.

Speaker 3:I do not know either. I think it's just one, though, if I'm not mistaken. Because I follow Miranda. Mm-hmm. And so I just see like stuff she's doing and it seems like they're only filming for like they're filming right now. And this is the first time.

Speaker 1:Without her?

Speaker 3:I think she's copping out.

Speaker 7:I think she failed a lot of drug tests, allegedly, through a lot of people saying it. She's lost custody of her other two kids and the one she has with Dakota. So I think that she is just not in a good spot in saying that she's going to remove herself. And I could see it being she can't come back until she's clean.

Speaker 1:So I don't know how Hulu works. I know how a network that I'm familiar with works.

Speaker 5:And when they.

Speaker 1:Choose to not ask you to return, they give you the choice to put out a statement to make it look like it was your choice. Although you were not given a choice. It's like, we're not asking you back.

Speaker 3:Yeah.

Speaker 1:If you would like to put out a statement that says, you know, you guys are leaving on your own.

Speaker 7:It's almost like you're fired, but we're giving you the, but you can quit right now.

Speaker 3:You're going to get fired, but we'll give you the, the, the option to quit right now. Yeah. I'll quit.

Speaker 1:All right.

Speaker 3:I'll have a good one.

Speaker 1:So I wonder if that's the same thing that they do or if she really did say, I need to like take a step back and this is too much.

Speaker 7:That, yeah, I have no idea as well. I think you're onto something with that. But with how many things, because I saw it through TMZ. I saw it through a lot of reality blurbs. I saw every little publication that had it was saying she's failing drug tests.

Speaker 3:All right. We'll let you know that.

Speaker 1:Pretty good.

Speaker 5:Pretty, pretty, pretty good.

Speaker 1:You guys, thank you for listening to another episode of Untraditionally Lala.

Speaker 3:Eat my nuts. They're seeds. My seeds.

Speaker 5:Thank you for coming, Mom. You look adorable. Easton, thanks for joining.

Speaker 1:I'm excited with all these Bravo shows that we can start having the segment Bravo, Bravo, fucking Bravo.

Speaker 5:Hope you enjoyed.

Speaker 1:We'll catch you next week. Bye. Bye.
